🦋 Meditation verse - எபிரெயர் 6 : 7,8 / Hebrews 6:7–8

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1613                                          ஆதவன் 08.07.2025 செவ்வாய்   

"தன்மேல் அடிக்கடி பெய்கிற மழையைக் குடித்து, தன்னிடத்தில் பயிரிடுகிறவர்களுக்கேற்ற பயிரைமுளைப்பிக்கும் நிலமானது தேவனால் ஆசீர்வாதம் பெறும். முள்செடிகளையும் முள்பூண்டுகளையும் முளைப்பிக்கிற நிலமோ தகாததாயும் சபிக்கப்படுவதற்கு ஏற்றதாகவும் இருக்கிறது; சுட்டெரிக்கப்படுவதே அதன் முடிவு." ( எபிரெயர் 6 : 7,8 )

மனிதர்களது இருதயத்தை இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நிலத்துக்கு ஒப்பிடுகின்றது. நிலத்தின்மேல் மழைபெய்து நிலத்தைப் பயிர்ச்செய்வதற்கு ஏற்றதாக்குகின்றது. அதுபோலவே, மனிதர்களது இருதயமானது தேவ வார்த்தைகளை தனக்குள்வாங்கி விளைச்சலைக் கொடுக்க தகுதியுள்ளதாக மாற்றவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது.

ஆனால்,  இந்த உலகத்தில் எல்லா நிலங்களும் பயிரை முளைப்பிப்பதில்லை. மாறாக, சில நிலங்கள் பயனற்ற தரிசுநிலமாகவும் சில முட்களையும் தேவையற்ற காட்டுச் செடிகளை முளைப்பிக்கும் நிலமாகவும் இருக்கின்றன. இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, "மழையைக் குடித்து, தன்னிடத்தில் பயிரிடுகிறவர்களுக்கேற்ற பயிரைமுளைப்பிக்கும் நிலமானது தேவனால் ஆசீர்வாதம் பெறும். முள்செடிகளையும் முள்பூண்டுகளையும் முளைப்பிக்கிற நிலமோ தகாததாயும் சபிக்கப்படுவதற்கு ஏற்றதாகவும் இருக்கிறது" என்று.

அதாவது, தேவ வார்த்தைகள் நம்மில் இறங்கி அது பலன்தருவதாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்படியானால்தான் அது தேவ ஆசீர்வாதத்தினைக் கொண்டுவரும். ஓடி ஓடி பல பிராங்கிமார்கள் பேசுவதையும் நோட்டில் குறிப்புகளான எழுதி எடுப்பதில் அர்த்தமில்லை. நோட்டுப்புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்படும் குறிப்புக்கள் நமது உள்ளத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டு நமது வாழ்க்கையாக மாறவேண்டியது அவசியம். காரணம், தேவனது வார்த்தைகள் மெய்யாகவே நமக்குள் இறங்குமேயானால் அது அதற்கேற்ற பலனைத் தராமல் போகாது.

"மாரியும் உறைந்த மழையும் வானத்திலிருந்து இறங்கி, அவ்விடத்துக்குத் திரும்பாமல் பூமியை நனைத்து, அதில் முளை கிளம்பி விளையும்படிச்செய்து, விதைக்கிறவனுக்கு விதையையும் புசிக்கிறவனுக்கு ஆகாரத்தையும் கொடுக்கிறது எப்படியோ, அப்படியே என் வாயிலிருந்து புறப்படும் வசனமும் இருக்கும்; அது வெறுமையாய் என்னிடத்திற்குத் திரும்பாமல், அது நான் விரும்புகிறதைச்செய்து, நான் அதை அனுப்பின காரியமாகும்படி வாய்க்கும்." ( ஏசாயா 55 : 10, 11 ) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

நாம் மேம்போக்காக தேவ வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்பதல்ல முக்கியம், அந்த வார்த்தைகள் நமது இருதயத்தை மாற்றவல்லவைகளாக இருக்க நாம் இடம்கொடுக்கவேண்டும். பல்வேறு பிரசங்கங்களைக் கேட்டும் நாம் தொடர்ந்து மனம்திரும்பாத வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வோமானால் நமது இருதயம் முள் செடிகளை முளைப்பிக்கும் தகாத நிலமாக இருக்கின்றது என்று பொருள். அத்தகைய வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதத்தைக் கொண்டு வராது. இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "முள்செடிகளையும் முள்பூண்டுகளையும் முளைப்பிக்கிற நிலமோ தகாததாயும் சபிக்கப்படுவதற்கு ஏற்றதாகவும் இருக்கிறது; சுட்டெரிக்கப்படுவதே அதன் முடிவு" என்று கூறுகின்றது. 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், "தன்னிடத்தில் பயிரிடுகிறவர்களுக்கேற்ற பயிரைமுளைப்பிக்கும் நிலமானது" என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். இருதயத்தில் பயிரிடுபவர் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துதான். விதை விதைக்கின்றவன் உவமையை அவர் கூறும்போது வசனமாகிய விதையினையே குறிப்பிட்டார் (மாற்கு 4: 3-8). சில விதைகள் வழியருகிலும், சில பாறை நிலத்திலும், சில முட்களின் நடுவிலும் விழுந்து பயனற்றதாகிவிட்டன. நல்ல நிலத்தில் விழுந்தவைகள்தான் ஏற்ற பலனைத் தந்தன. அதுபோலவே, நாம் அவருக்கேற்ற விளைச்சலைக் கொடுக்க வேண்டியது அவசியம். 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே நாம் பல்வேறு ஆவிக்குரிய கூட்டங்களில் கலந்துகொண்டு,  "இந்த ஊழியர் நன்றாக பேசினார், அந்தப்பிரசங்கி நன்றாக பிரசங்கம் செய்தார்" என்று கூறிக்கொண்டிருப்பதில் அர்த்தமில்லை. நாம் கேட்ட தேவ வார்த்தைகள் நமது இருதயத்தில் இறங்கி முப்பது, அறுபது, நூறாகப் பயன்தரவேண்டியது அவசியம். அந்த மனநிலையுடன் தேவ வார்தைகளைக் கேட்டு வாழ்வாக்கும்போது  இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதன்படி கர்த்தர் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்.

"Inside the Seeds" 🌳

“For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.”— Hebrews 6:7–8 (KJV)

Today’s meditation verse compares the human heart to soil. Just as rain waters the land and prepares it to bring forth crops, so too must our hearts be made ready to receive the Word of God and yield spiritual fruit.

However, not all land brings forth useful crops. Some soil remains barren or produces only thorns and wild bushes. Likewise, not every heart that receives the Word bears fruit. As today’s verse declares, “the earth which drinketh in the rain... bringeth forth herbs... receiveth blessing from God,” but the land that brings forth only “thorns and briers is rejected and is nigh unto cursing.”

This means that God’s Word must produce fruit in us. Only then does it result in God’s blessing. There is no benefit in merely running from one preacher to another, taking down sermon notes and filling our notebooks. What matters is that these truths be written in our hearts and transformed into our lifestyle. If the Word of God truly enters our hearts, it cannot return void.

“For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” — Isaiah 55:10–11 (KJV)

It’s not about hearing God’s Word casually or superficially. We must allow the Word to take root and transform our hearts. If we keep hearing sermon after sermon without true repentance, our hearts may become like soil that produces thorns—not suitable for blessing, but for rejection. That kind of life cannot inherit God’s blessing.

As the verse says, “that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected… whose end is to be burned.” This is a solemn warning.

Today’s meditation also speaks of “herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed”—meaning Christ is the One who cultivates our hearts. When Jesus explained the Parable of the Sower, He said the seed is the Word (Mark 4:3–8). Some seeds fell by the wayside, some on stony ground, and others among thorns—none of these bore lasting fruit. Only the seed that fell on good ground brought forth thirty, sixty, or a hundredfold.

Likewise, we are called to yield the kind of harvest pleasing to Him.

Dear beloved, simply attending spiritual meetings and praising speakers—saying, “That preacher spoke well!”—will not benefit us unless the Word of God bears fruit in our lives. The Word we hear must sink into our hearts and bring forth a harvest of thirty, sixty, or a hundredfold.

When we approach God’s Word with that attitude, He will surely bless us—just as today’s meditation verse promises.

🦋 Meditation verse - எபிரெயர் 4 : 13 / Hebrews 4:13

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1612                                          ஆதவன் 07.07.2025 திங்கள்  

"அவருடைய பார்வைக்கு மறைவான சிருஷ்டி ஒன்றுமில்லை; சகலமும் அவருடைய, கண்களுக்குமுன்பாக நிர்வாணமாயும் வெளியரங்கமாயுமிருக்கிறது, அவருக்கே நாம் கணக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கவேண்டும்." ( எபிரெயர் 4 : 13 )

ஒருவரிடம் நாம் சில பொறுப்புக்களை ஒப்படைத்திருப்போமானால் அவரிடம் நாம் அதுகுறித்து விளக்கம் கேட்கும்போது நமக்கு அவர் விளக்கமளிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். நாமும் அதுபோலவே  நம்மிடம் ஒப்படைக்கபட்டப் பொறுப்புகளுக்கு நம்மிடம் பொறுப்பு ஒப்படைத்தவருக்குக்  கணக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.  

ஒரு பெரிய நிறுவனம் அதற்கு வரும் வரவுகளையும் செலவுகளையும் குறித்து அரசாங்கத்துக்குக் கனக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.  பணம் பெற்றுக்கொண்டு சமூக சேவை செய்யும் நிறுவனங்கள் தங்கள் நிறுவனத்துக்குப் பணம் கொடுக்கும் நன்கொடையாளருக்குக்  (donor) கனக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.

இதுபோலவே இந்த உலக வாழ்க்கையை நமக்குக் கொடுத்துள்ள தேவனுக்கு நாம் கனக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்.  இந்த உலக வாழ்க்கை தேவன் நமக்குக் கொடுத்துள்ள ஒரு வரம் என்று சொல்லலாம். இந்த வாழ்க்கையை அவருக்கேற்றபடி, அவர் சித்தப்படி வாழ்ந்து முடிப்பதே நமது பணி. எனவே, அவர் நமது வாழ்க்கையைக் குறித்துக்  கனக்குக் கேட்கும்நாளில் அவருக்கு நாம் நம்மைக்குறித்த கணக்கை ஒப்புவிக்கவேண்டும்.  

பொதுவாக பணம் பெற்றுக்கொண்டு வேலைசெய்யும் நிறுவனங்கள் பெற்றுக்கொண்ட பணத்துக்கு உண்மையாக இருப்பதில்லை. எனவே, பட்டயத்தணிக்கையாளர்கள் (Chartered Accountant) மூலம் கணக்குகளை ஆய்வுசெய்து அந்த அறிக்கையைத் தங்களுக்கு அனுப்பவேண்டுமென்று பணம் கொடுத்தவர்கள் விதி நியமித்துள்ளார். பல நிறுவனங்கள் தணிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு கையூட்டுக்கொடுத்து தங்களுக்குச் சாதகமான நிதிநிலை அறிக்கையினைப்பெற்று சம்பந்தப்பட்டத் துறைகளுக்கு அனுப்புகின்றனர். 

ஆனால் அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த உலக நடைமுறைப்படி நாம் நமது வாழ்கையினைக்குறித்து தேவனை ஏமாற்றிட முடியாது. இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "அவருடைய பார்வைக்கு மறைவான சிருஷ்டி ஒன்றுமில்லை; சகலமும் அவருடைய, கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக நிர்வாணமாயும் வெளியரங்கமாயுமிருக்கிறது" என்று கூறுகின்றது. நாம் பிறந்ததுமுதல் மரிப்பது வரையிலான நமது வாழ்வின் மொத்த காரியங்களும் அவருக்குமுன் தெளிந்த கண்ணாடிபோல இருக்கின்றது. அவரை நாம் ஏமாற்றிட முடியாது. 

இந்த உலகத்தில் பலரும் தங்கள் செய்த தவறுகளையும் ஏமாற்றுக்களையும் பாவகாரியங்களையும் பணம்கொடுத்து நிவர்த்திசெய்கின்றனர்.  நீதிமன்றங்களும் நீதிபதிகளும் பலவேளைகளில் பணத்துக்கும்  அதிகாரத்துக்கும் அடிமையாகின்றனர். எனவே குற்றவாளிகள் பலர் எளிதில் தப்பித்துக்கொள்கின்றனர். ஆனால் தேவனது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்குமுன் வெள்ளியும் பொன்னும் அதிகாரமும் நம்மை அவரது தண்டனைக்குத் தப்புவிக்கமுடியாது.  

"கர்த்தருடைய சினத்தின் நாளிலே அவர்கள் வெள்ளியும் அவர்கள் பொன்னும் அவர்களை விடுவிக்கமாட்டாது; அவர்கள் அதினால் தங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களைத் திருப்தியாக்குவதும் இல்லை, தங்கள் வயிறுகளை நிரப்புவதும் இல்லை; அவர்கள் அக்கிரமமே அவர்களுக்கு இடறலாயிருந்தது." ( எசேக்கியேல் 7 : 19 ) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

திருடர்கள் திருடவரும்போது அவர்களைக் கண்காணிக்கும் CCTV மேகராக்களைவிட சக்திவாய்ந்தவை தேவனுடைய கண்கள். அவை நமது ஒவ்வொரு செயலையும் பதிவு செய்கின்றன. கேமரா பதிவுகளை குற்றவாளிகளும் குற்றத்துக்குத் துணை நிற்பவர்களும் அழித்து ஒழிப்பதுபோல தேவனது கண்களை நாம் மறுக்கமுடியாது எனும் சத்தியத்தை உணர்த்தவர்களாய் அவருக்கு அஞ்சிய வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வோம். 

"மரித்தோராகிய சிறியோரையும் பெரியோரையும் தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக நிற்கக்கண்டேன்; அப்பொழுது புஸ்தகங்கள் திறக்கப்பட்டன; ஜீவபுஸ்தகம் என்னும் வேறொரு புஸ்தகமும் திறக்கப்பட்டது; அப்பொழுது அந்தப் புஸ்தகங்களில் எழுதப்பட்டவைகளின்படியே மரித்தோர் தங்கள் தங்கள் கிரியைகளுக்குத்தக்கதாக நியாயத்தீர்ப்படைந்தார்கள்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 20 : 12 )

"Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do." — Hebrews 4:13 (KJV)

When we entrust someone with certain responsibilities, it is necessary that they provide us with a proper explanation when we ask for an account. Likewise, we too must give an account to the One who has entrusted us with responsibilities.

Just as a large company must submit its income and expense accounts to the government, and as NGOs receiving donations for social service must provide proper accounts to their donors, we are also accountable.

We must one day give an account to God, who has given us this life. This earthly life is a gift from God, and it is our duty to live it according to His will and purpose. Therefore, when the day comes for Him to demand an account of our life, we must be ready to give it.

Generally, many organizations that receive funds do not always maintain integrity in their use. Hence, donors often require that a Chartered Accountant audit the accounts and submit a report. Unfortunately, some organizations bribe these auditors to receive favourable financial reports and submit them to concerned departments.

But beloved, we cannot deceive God like we do in worldly systems. This is what today’s verse reminds us:

"Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do." (Hebrews 4:13)

From the moment we are born to the time we die, every deed of our lives is clearly visible before Him like an open glass. We cannot trick or hide from Him.

In this world, many try to cover up their sins, wrongdoings, and deceptions by using money. Courts and judges at times become subject to wealth and power, enabling the guilty to escape justice. But before the judgment seat of God, neither silver, nor gold, nor power can save us from His righteous punishment.

The Lord God declares:

"They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity." — Ezekiel 7:19 (KJV)

God's eyes are more powerful than any CCTV cameras used to catch thieves. His eyes record every one of our actions. Just as criminals may delete surveillance footage, many may try to cover up their sins — but God’s watchful eyes cannot be erased. Let us live in reverent fear of Him, aware of this eternal truth.

"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." — Revelation 20:12 (KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - எபிரெயர் 11 : 30 / Hebrews 11:30

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1611                                          ஆதவன் 06.07.2025 ஞாயிறு 

"விசுவாசத்தினாலே எரிகோ பட்டணத்தின் மதில்கள் ஏழுநாள் சுற்றிவரப்பட்டு விழுந்தன." ( எபிரெயர் 11 : 30 )

பிரச்சனைகள்  இல்லாத வாழ்க்கை இல்லை. தடைகளும் தடைக்கற்களும் எல்லோரது வாழ்விலும் ஏற்படுவதுண்டு. ஆனால், மற்றவர்கள் அவற்றைக் கையாள்வதற்கும் ஆவிக்குரிய மக்களாகிய நாம் கையாள்வதற்கும் வித்தியாசம் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்கு உணர்த்துகின்றது.

இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் கானானுக்குள் நுழையும்போது அவர்களுக்கு முதலில் ஏற்பட்டத் தடை எரிகோவின் பெரிய மதில் சுவர்தான். தேவன் கானானை இஸ்ரவேலருக்கு வாக்களித்திருந்தாலும் அதனை அடைந்திட அவர்கள் பல்வேறு தடைகளையும், நீண்ட காலத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ள வேண்டியிருந்தது. அதுவே  தேவனுடைய சித்தமாகவும்  இருந்தது.  இஸ்ரவேலரின் இந்த எரிகோ அனுபவம் இன்று நமக்கும் ஒரு ஆவிக்குரிய படிப்பினையாக உள்ளது. 

தொல்பொருள் அகழ்வாராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் மேற்கொண்ட ஆய்வின்படி  எரிகோ நகரின் சுவரின் பரிமாணங்கள் சுமார் 12 முதல் 17 அடி  உயரமும், 6 அடி  அகலமும் இருந்ததாக மதிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. இத்தனைப் பெரிய மதிலைத் தாண்டுவதோ உடைத்துக்கொண்டு உள்ளே செல்வதோ  அன்றைய இஸ்ரவேலருக்குச் சாத்தியமற்றதே. அதற்கான சக்தியும் உபகரணங்களும் அவர்களிடம் இல்லை. ஆனால் தேவன் மட்டுமே அவர்களுக்குத் துணையாக இருந்தார்.  ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனை நாம் துணையாகக் கொள்ளும்போது சாத்தியமற்றதும்  சாத்தியமாகும் என்பதனை எரிகோவின் வீழ்ச்சி நமக்கு உணர்த்துகின்றது. 

மேலும் இந்த மதில் சுவரின்  தடையானது இஸ்ரவேலர் தேவன்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொள்வதற்கு ஒரு காரணமாகவும் இருந்தது. அதாவது தேவன் நமது வாழ்வில் எந்தத் தடையையும் காரணமில்லாமல் ஏற்படுத்துவதில்லை.  அவரையேச் சார்ந்து பொறுமையுடன் இருந்தால் தடைகளை மேற்கொள்ளலாம் என்பதனையும் தேவன் இதன்மூலம் நமக்கு உணர்த்துகின்றார்.

இன்னொரு முக்கிய  உண்மை, தேவனது உதவியில்லாமல் நமது சுய பலத்தால் நாம் எதனையும் சாதித்துவிட முடியாது. நமது முயற்சி, விசுவாசம், தேவனது வல்லமை இவை சேரும்போது மிகப்பெரிய சாதனையை நாம் நிகழ்த்திட முடியும். ஆம், தேவனது சித்தமும் உதவியுமில்லாமல் நம்மால் மனித முயற்சியால் வாழ்வின் தடைகளை மேற்கொள்ள முடியாது. 

இறுதியாக, தேவனது அற்புதத்தைப் பெறவேண்டுமானால் அவரது வார்தையை  நாம் சந்தேகிக்காமல் அதற்குக் கீழ்படியவேண்டும் என்பதனை நாம் உணரவேண்டும். ஏழுநாட்கள் வெறுமனே எரிகோவின் மதிலைச் சுற்றிவந்தபோது மக்களுக்கு அது தேவையற்ற அர்த்தமற்ற செயலாகத் தெரிந்திருக்கலாம்.  இத்தனைப் பெரியமதில்ச் சுவர் வெறுமனே சுற்றி நடப்பதால் எப்படி இடிந்து விழும்? என எண்ணியிருக்கலாம்.   ஆனால் அதுதான் யோசுவா மூலம் தேவன் கொடுத்தக்  கட்டளை. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவ கட்டளைக்கு நாம் சந்தேகிக்காமல் கீழ்ப்படியும்போது தேவன் நமக்காகச் செயல்புரிவார்.  

ஏழாம்நாளில் "எக்காளங்களை ஊதுகையில், ஜனங்கள் ஆர்ப்பரித்தார்கள்; எக்காள சத்தத்தை ஜனங்கள் கேட்டு, மகா ஆரவாரத்தோடே முழங்குகையில், அலங்கம் இடிந்து விழுந்தது; உடனே ஜனங்கள் அவரவர் தங்களுக்கு நேராகப் பட்டணத்தில் ஏறி, பட்டணத்தைப் பிடித்து...." ( யோசுவா 6 : 20 ) என வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் உணர்த்தும் உண்மைகள்:- நமது வாழ்வில் வரும் பிரச்சனைகள், தடைகள் எவ்வளவு பெரியவை என அவற்றைக்கண்டு நாம் கலங்கிட வேண்டாம்;  நமது வாழ்வில் தடைகள் தேவ சித்தமில்லாமல் வருவதில்லை; அவற்றை தேவனது துணையை நாடி நாம்  எதிர்கொள்ளவேண்டும். தேவையற்ற அவிசுவாச எண்ணங்களைத் தகர்த்து தேவ வார்த்தைகளை நம்பி பொறுமையாகச்  செயல்படவேண்டும். பிரச்சனைகளின் மத்தியிலும் தேவனை எப்போதும் துதித்து மகிழவேண்டும்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது வாழ்வின் பல்வேறு கட்டங்களில் மதில் சுவராக எழுந்து வரும் எரிகோவை வென்றெடுக்கும் முறை இதுதான்.  விசுவாசமுடன் தேவனுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து அவரையேச் சார்ந்துகொள்வோம்.

“By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.” (Hebrews 11:30 – KJV)

There is no life without problems. Obstacles and hindrances arise in everyone’s journey. But the way others handle them and the way we, as spiritual people, respond to them must be different. That is exactly what today’s meditation verse reminds us.

When the Israelites entered Canaan, the very first barrier they encountered was the massive wall of Jericho. Though God had promised Canaan to Israel, they still had to face many obstacles and go through a lengthy process to receive it. That was indeed God’s plan. This experience at Jericho stands today as a spiritual lesson for us.

According to archaeological findings, the dimensions of the wall of Jericho were approximately 12 to 17 feet in height and about 6 feet in width. For the Israelites of that time, scaling or breaking down such a large wall was utterly impossible. They had neither the power nor the tools. But God alone stood by them.

Yes, beloved, when we take God as our helper, what seems impossible becomes possible. The fall of Jericho’s wall clearly demonstrates this truth.

Moreover, that wall served as a reason for the Israelites to trust more deeply in God. In other words, no obstacle comes into our lives without God’s purpose. If we patiently depend on Him, we can overcome any barrier. This is the lesson God teaches us through this event.

Another vital truth is this: without God's help, we can accomplish nothing by our own strength. Our effort, our faith, and God's power—when combined—can produce mighty results. Yes, without God’s will and help, we cannot overcome life’s obstacles by mere human effort.

Finally, to receive God’s miracle, we must obey His Word without doubting. Walking around the wall of Jericho for seven days might have seemed meaningless or unnecessary to the people. “How can such a massive wall collapse just by walking around it?” they might have wondered. Yet that was the exact command God gave through Joshua.

Yes, beloved, when we obey God’s commands without doubt, He acts on our behalf.

On the seventh day, “the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.” (Joshua 6:20 – KJV)

Yes, beloved, here are the truths today’s meditation teaches us:

Let us not be troubled by how big our problems and obstacles seem.

Obstacles never come without God’s will.

We must face them by seeking God’s help.

Let us cast down unbelieving thoughts and trust God’s Word, acting patiently.

Even in the midst of our troubles, let us praise and rejoice in God.

Yes, dear ones, this is the way to overcome the Jerichos that rise like walls at different stages of our lives. Let us submit to God with faith and hold on to Him continually.

🦋 Meditation verse - மத்தேயு 6 : 21 / Matthew 6:21

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1610                                          ஆதவன் 05.07.2025 சனி 

"உங்கள் பொக்கிஷம் எங்கேயிருக்கிறதோ அங்கே உங்கள் இருதயமும் இருக்கும்." ( மத்தேயு 6 : 21 )

மனிதர்களது இருதயம்தான் தேவன் வாழும் மெய்யான இல்லமாக உள்ளது. ஆனால் பொதுவாக பலரும் இந்தச் சத்தியத்தை மறந்தவர்களாக ஆலயங்களுக்குச் சென்று கடவுளை வழிபட்டால் தங்களது அனைத்துத் தேவைகளும் சந்திக்கப்படும் என நம்பிகொண்டிருக்கின்றனர்; அவ்வாறே ஆலயங்களைத் தேடி ஓடி ஜெபிக்கின்றனர். 

நமது இதயமானது உலகப்  பொருளாசை ஒன்றை மட்டுமே விரும்பி வாழுமானால் நமது இறை வேண்டுதல்களும் உலகப்பொருட்களை மையப்படுத்தியே இருக்கும். இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "உங்கள் பொக்கிஷம் எங்கேயிருக்கிறதோ அங்கே உங்கள் இருதயமும் இருக்கும்." என்று கூறினார். 

நாம் தேவனை உண்மையாக அன்பு செய்வோமானால் அவரை மட்டுமே விரும்புவோம். அவர் நம்மோடு இருக்கவேண்டும், நம்மை வழிநடத்தவேண்டும், நம்மைவிட்டு அவர் விலகாமல் இருக்கவேண்டுமானால் நாம் எத்தகைய வாழ்வு வாழவேண்டும் போன்ற எண்ணங்கள் நமக்குள் இருக்கும். அவரது பிரசன்னம் நம்மைவிட்டு விலகும்போது நமக்கு வேதனையாக இருக்கும். நம்மை அறியாமல் அவருக்கு எதிராக ஏதாவது பாவம் செய்துவிட்டோமோ என நம்மை நாமே ஆராய்ந்து பார்க்கின்றவர்களா இருப்போம்.

ஆனால் வெறும் உலக பொருளுக்காகவும், உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காகவும் தேவனைத் தேடுபவர்களுக்கு இத்தகைய எண்ணங்கள் ஏற்படாது.  "ஆண்டவரே, எனக்கு நீர் இந்தக் காரியத்தை வெற்றியடையச் செய்வீரானால் நான் உமக்கு எனது ஒருமாத சம்பளப்  பணத்தைக் காணிக்கையாகத் தருவேன்" என்பதுபோன்று கடவுளிடம் பேரம்பேசி பொருத்தனை செய்யும் அற்பமான எண்ணம்தான் அத்தகைய மனிதர்களுக்கு இருக்கும். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறுவதுபோல பணத்தையே தனது பொக்கிஷமாகக் கருதுபவன் பணத்தின் அடிப்படையிலேயே அனைத்தையும் பார்ப்பவனாக இருப்பான். இத்தகைய மனிதர்கள் தேவனை வாழ்வில் அறிய முடியாது. எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "எந்த ஊழியக்காரனும் இரண்டு எஜமான்களுக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்யக்கூடாது; ஒருவனைப் பகைத்து மற்றவனைச் சிநேகிப்பான், அல்லது ஒருவனைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு மற்றவனை அசட்டைபண்ணுவான். தேவனுக்கும் உலகப்பொருளுக்கும் ஊழியஞ்செய்ய உங்களாலே கூடாது". ( லுூக்கா 16 : 13 )

ஆனால் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தெளிவாகக் கூறிய சத்தியத்தை பண ஆசைகொண்ட பரிசேயர்களால் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியவில்லை. எனவேதான், "இவைகளையெல்லாம் பொருளாசைக்காரராகிய பரிசேயரும் கேட்டு, அவரைப் பரியாசம் பண்ணினார்கள்." ( லுூக்கா 16 : 14 )

இதனை வாசிக்கும் அன்பான சகோதரனே, சகோதரியே, உங்களது பொக்கிஷம் எங்கே இருக்கின்றது என்பதனை ஆராய்ந்து பார்த்து கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு உகந்த இருதயமாக அதனை மாற்றவேண்டியது  அவசியம் என்று ஆவியானவர் கட்டளையிடுகின்றார்.  பணத்துக்காகவும் உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்காகவும் தேவனைத் தேடுகின்கிறீர்களா அல்லது தேவனுக்காக, தேவன்மேலுள்ள அன்பினால் அவரை மேலும் அறிந்து அவரோடு ஐக்கியமாக வாழவேண்டுமென்று தேடுகிறேர்களா? பொருளாசைக்காரராகிய பரிசேயர்  அவரைப் பரியாசம் பண்ணினதுபோல பரியாசம்பண்ணாமல் ஆவியானவரின் குரலுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்க உங்களை அழைக்கின்றார்.

“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”(Matthew 6:21, KJV)

The human heart is the true dwelling place where God desires to reside. However, many forget this truth and believe that going to temples or places of worship and offering their rituals will ensure that all their needs are met. With such belief, they run to sacred places to pray.

If our heart is driven only by worldly desires, then even our prayers will revolve around material things. This is exactly what our Lord Jesus Christ meant when He said, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

If we truly love God, we will desire Him alone. Our hearts will long for His presence, His guidance, and His nearness in our lives. We will be concerned about living a life pleasing to Him. Whenever His presence seems distant, we will feel a deep sorrow and begin to examine ourselves to see whether we have unknowingly sinned against Him.

But those who seek God only for material gain and worldly blessings will not have such spiritual thoughts. Their prayers often turn into transactional bargains with God: “Lord, if You make this endeavor successful, I will give my entire one-month salary as an offering.” These are shallow and unspiritual mindsets.

As Jesus points out in today's verse, the one who considers money his treasure will view everything in life through that lens. Such people will never come to truly know God. That’s why Jesus also warned:

“No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” (Luke 16:13, KJV)

However, the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, could not accept this truth spoken clearly by Jesus. The Scripture says:

“And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.” (Luke 16:14, KJV)

Dear brother, dear sister who is reading this today — the Holy Spirit is urging you to examine where your treasure truly lies. Is your heart seeking God for the sake of money and worldly blessings, or are you seeking God out of love, desiring to know Him more and walk in union with Him?

The Holy Spirit is calling you to listen — not with mockery, as the covetous Pharisees did — but with a heart open to His voice. May your heart be transformed into one that pleases Christ.

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 கொரிந்தியர் 4 : 20 / 1 Corinthians 4:20

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1609                                          ஆதவன் 04.07.2025 வெள்ளி    

"தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் பேச்சிலே அல்ல, பெலத்திலே உண்டாயிருக்கிறது." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 4 : 20 )

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துத் தனது சீடர்களுக்குக் கற்றுக்  கொடுத்த  ஜெபத்தில், "உம்முடைய ராஜ்ஜியம் வருக" என்று ஜெபிக்கக் கூறினார்.  இந்த தேவனுடைய ராஜ்ஜியம் வேறு    எங்கும் அல்ல, அது நமக்குள்தான் இருக்கின்றது என்றும் சீடர்களிடம் அவர் கூறினார்.  "இதோ, இங்கே என்றும், அதோ, அங்கே என்றும் சொல்லப்படுகிறதற்கும் ஏதுவிராது; இதோ, தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் உங்களுக்குள் இருக்கிறதே." ( லுூக்கா 17 : 21 ) என்று இயேசு கூறுவதை நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

இயேசு கூறும் நமக்குள் இருக்கும் இந்தத் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்ஜியம் பேச்சிலே அல்ல, பெலத்திலே உண்டாயிருக்கிறது என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல்.  அதாவது, வெறுமனே தேவனுடைய ராஜ்ஜியம்  பற்றி பேசுவதிலல்ல, மாறாக அதன் வலிமை நம்மாலும் மற்றவர்களாலும் உணரப்படும் வலிமையுள்ளதாக இருக்கும்போதுதான் அது பயனுள்ளதாக இருக்கும் என்று பொருள். 

இந்த தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தின் பெலன், தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்த ஆவியினால் நமக்குக் கிடைக்கின்றது. எனவேதான்  இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது, தேவனுடைய ராஜ்ஜியம் வெறும் பேச்சிலல்ல மாறாக பரிசுத்தஆவியானவர் தரும் பலத்தால் உண்டாகின்றது என்று. எனவே, தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள் வரும்போது நமக்குள் உலகம் கொடுக்க முடியாத மகிழ்ச்சி உண்டாகின்றது. 

ஆம், தேவனுடைய ராஜ்ஜியம் வெறுமனே உண்பது, நல்ல உடைகளை அணிவது, உலக செல்வங்களை அனுபவிப்பதிலல்ல, மாறாக பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள் அளிக்கும் மகிழ்ச்சியில் இருக்கின்றது. "தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் புசிப்பும் குடிப்புமல்ல, அது நீதியும் சமாதானமும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலுண்டாகும் சந்தோஷமுமாயிருக்கிறது." ( ரோமர் 14 : 17 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இன்றைய தியான வசனம், தேவனுடையராஜ்யம் வெறுமனே ஆலயங்களுக்குச் சென்று வழிபடுவதிலல்ல, மாறாக பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள் வந்து செயல்படுவதில்தான் உள்ளது என்பதையே எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றது. இத்தகைய  ராஜ்ஜியம் வருவதாக என்றுதான் இயேசு தனது சீடர்களுக்கு ஜெபிக்கக்  கற்றுக்கொடுத்தார்.  ஏனெனில், ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள் வந்து செயல்படும்போது ஆவிக்குரிய வலிமை விளங்கும். 

இந்த ஆவியானவரின் வலிமையை நாம் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போதே நாம் வெற்றியுள்ள ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வை வாழ முடியும். இந்தப் பெலன் நமக்குள் வரும்போதுதான்  நாம் பாவங்களை மேற்கொள்ளும் வலிமைபெற்றவர்களாகவும் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குச் சாட்சிபகரும் வாழ்க்கை வாழ்பவர்களாகவும் மாறமுடியும். எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "பரிசுத்த ஆவி உங்களிடத்தில் வரும்போது நீங்கள் பெலனடைந்து, எருசலேமிலும், யூதேயா முழுவதிலும், சமாரியாவிலும், பூமியின் கடைசிப்பரியந்தமும், எனக்குச் சாட்சிகளாயிருப்பீர்கள்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 1 : 8 ) என்று.

“For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” (1 Corinthians 4:20, KJV)

Our Lord Jesus Christ taught His disciples to pray saying, “Thy kingdom come.” He also told them that the kingdom of God is not somewhere outside or far away, but rather within them. As He said,
“Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21, KJV)

The Apostle Paul affirms that this kingdom of God, which Jesus said is within us, is not merely in word, but in power. That is to say, the kingdom of God is not just about speaking or talking about it—it must be experienced through a power that can be felt by us and those around us. Only then does it become meaningful and fruitful.

This power of the kingdom comes through the Holy Spirit of God. That is why today’s meditation verse declares that the kingdom of God is not in word alone, but in the power given by the Holy Ghost. When the Spirit of God comes and dwells within us, we receive a joy that the world cannot offer.

Indeed, the kingdom of God is not about eating, wearing fine clothes, or enjoying worldly riches. It is found in the joy that the Holy Spirit imparts within us. “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” (Romans 14:17, KJV)

Today’s verse emphasizes that the kingdom of God is not about merely attending church services or engaging in external worship, but rather about the active presence of the Holy Spirit working within us. This is the very kingdom that Jesus taught His disciples to pray for: “Thy kingdom come.” Because, when the Spirit comes and works in us, the power of the Spirit becomes evident.

It is only when we receive this power of the Spirit that we can live a victorious spiritual life. When this power fills us, we receive strength to overcome sin and live as witnesses for Christ. That is why Jesus said,
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
(Acts 1:8, KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 கொரிந்தியர் 1 : 20 / 1 Corinthians 1:20

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1608                                          ஆதவன் 03.07.2025 வியாழன்     

"ஞானி எங்கே? வேதபாரகன் எங்கே? இப்பிரபஞ்சத் தர்க்கசாஸ்திரி எங்கே? இவ்வுலகத்தின் ஞானத்தை தேவன் பைத்தியமாக்கவில்லையா? " (1 கொரிந்தியர் 1 : 20)

இந்த உலகத்தில் பல்வேறு துறைகளில் ஞானிகள் இருக்கின்றனர். இறையியல் கல்லூரிகளில் படித்து பட்டம்பெற்ற வேத அறிஞர்கள் உள்ளனர்.  பல்வேறு துறைகளில் தர்க்கம் (debate) செய்து தங்களது கருத்துக்களை வலியுறுத்தும் திறமையுள்ள தர்க்கஞானிகள் உள்ளனர். ஆனால் வாழ்வில் மெய்தேவனை  அறியாதவரை இவர்களது அறிவும் திறமைகளும் பைத்தியக்காரர்களின் அறிவுக்கு ஒத்தது என்கின்றது இன்றைய தியான வசனம்.  

அதாவது மேற்குறிப்பிட்டவகை மக்கள் சுய ஞானத்தால் இவைகளை அறிந்துள்ளனர். அதாவது, தங்களது மனித அறிவால் ஞானம் பெற்றுள்ளனர். தேவ ஞானம் என்பது இதற்கு அப்பாற்பட்டது. மேலும், தேவனை வாழ்வில் தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் அறியாமல் தாங்கள் அறியாத தேவனை மற்றவர்களுக்குப் போதிக்க முயல்கின்றனர் பலர். எல்லா மதங்களிலும் கடவுளை அடைந்திட வழிகாட்டும் கடவுளை அறியாத இத்தகைய உலக ஞானிகள் உண்டு. அவர்களைப் பின்பற்றக்கூடிய மக்கள்கூட்டமும் உண்டு.

இத்தகைய மனிதர்களுக்கு வேதம் கூறும் வழிகளும் பிரசங்கங்களும் பைத்தியமாகத் தோன்றுகின்றது. ஆனால் இந்த உலக ஞானிகள் பைத்தியமாகக் கருதும் சத்தியமான பிரசங்கங்களே விசுவாசிகளை இரட்சிப்புக்கு நேராக நடத்துகின்றன. இதனையே,  "எப்படியெனில், தேவஞானத்துக்கேற்றபடி உலகமானது சுயஞானத்தினாலே தேவனை அறியாதிருக்கையில், பைத்தியமாகத் தோன்றுகிற பிரசங்கத்தினாலே விசுவாசிகளை இரட்சிக்க தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமாயிற்று." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 1 : 21 ) என்கின்றார் பவுல். 

இன்று ஏதாவது ஒரு துறையில் ஒருவர் சாதனை புரிந்துவிட்டால் அவர் கூறும் அனைத்துக் கருத்துக்களும் பலரால் பாராட்டப்படுகின்றன; பெரும்பாலான மக்களால் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுகின்றன. இப்படியே இன்று இசை மேதைகளும், திரைப்பட இயக்குனர்களும், நடிக நடிகைகளும் தாங்கள் அறியாத கடவுளைப்பற்றி கூறும் கருத்துக்களும் மக்களால் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுகின்றன. இப்படி உலக ஞானத்தின்பின் ஓடும் மக்களைப்பார்த்து இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கேட்கின்றது, "ஞானி எங்கே? வேதபாரகன் எங்கே? இப்பிரபஞ்சத் தர்க்கசாஸ்திரி எங்கே? இவ்வுலகத்தின் ஞானத்தை தேவன் பைத்தியமாக்கவில்லையா? என்று. 

தேவனை அறியாத ஒருவர் உலக அறிவால் பேசும் வார்த்தைகளை ஞானம் என்று அதனைக் கேட்கவும் அதனைப் பின்பற்றவும்  முயல்வதும் அறிவீனம்.  ஒன்றான மெய் தேவனாகிய பிதாவாகிய தேவனை நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்திக் தந்துள்ளார். அவரது வார்த்தைகளை நாம் பின்பற்றுவதே அறிவுடைமை. காரணம்,  "அவரே தேவனால் நமக்கு ஞானமும் நீதியும் பரிசுத்தமும் மீட்புமானார்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 1 : 31 )

எனவே, உலக ஞானத்தால் ஏதோ சாதனை படைத்துவிட்ட மனிதர்களை நம்பி அவர்கள் கூறுவதை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு நமது வாழ்வைத் தொலைத்திடாமல், கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தால் கிடைக்கும் மெய்யான ஞானத்தை அடைந்திட முயற்சியெடுப்போம். அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் தனது சீடனான தீமோத்தேயுவுக்கு கூறிய பின்வரும் வார்த்தைகள் நமக்கும் சேர்த்துத்தான். "ஓ தீமோத்தேயுவே, உன்னிடத்தில் ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்டதை நீ காத்துக்கொண்டு, சீர்கேடான வீண்பேச்சுகளுக்கும், ஞானமென்று பொய்யாய்ப் பேர்பெற்றிருக்கிற கொள்கையின் விபரீதங்களுக்கும் விலகு" ( 1 தீமோத்தேயு 6 : 20 ) ஞானமென்று பொய்யாய் பேர்பெற்றிருக்கின்ற ஞானத்தையும் கொள்கைகளையும் விட்டு விலகுவோம்; தேவ ஞானத்தைப் பெற்றிட முயல்வோம்.

“Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?” — 1 Corinthians 1:20 

In this world, there are many wise people in various fields. There are scholars with theological degrees from Bible colleges. There are intellectuals who excel in debates, persuasively presenting their views. However, today’s meditation verse says that if these individuals do not know the living God personally, their wisdom and abilities are no better than the understanding of fools.

That is, these types of people have acquired knowledge through human wisdom—not divine revelation. Godly wisdom stands apart from such understanding. Furthermore, many attempt to teach others about a God they themselves do not personally know. Across all religions, there are such so-called wise individuals who claim to show the way to God, though they have never encountered Him themselves—and they have followers too.

To such people, the ways and preaching of the Bible seem foolish. Yet, the very truths that are considered foolish by worldly wisdom are the ones that lead believers to salvation. This is what Paul affirms when he says:

“For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.”
— 1 Corinthians 1:21 (KJV)

Today, if someone achieves greatness in a particular field, people tend to celebrate and accept everything they say—regardless of its truth or spiritual value. For instance, comments made by musical legends, film directors, or celebrities about God are quickly embraced by the masses, even though these individuals do not truly know God.

It is to such wisdom-chasers that the meditation verse asks:

“Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?”

Listening to or following the words of someone who does not know God, just because they are acclaimed by the world, is foolishness. The one true God—the Father—has been revealed to us through our Lord Jesus Christ. True wisdom is in following His words. For:

“...Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.” — 1 Corinthians 1:30 (KJV)

Therefore, instead of trusting in those who have achieved something through worldly wisdom and risking our eternal life by following their flawed thoughts, let us strive to attain the true wisdom that comes by faith in Christ.

The apostle Paul's words to his disciple Timothy apply to us as well:

“O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called.”
— 1 Timothy 6:20 (KJV)

Let us turn away from what is falsely called wisdom and seek divine wisdom instead.

🦋 Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 74 : 19, 20 / Psalm 74:19–20

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1607                                          ஆதவன் 02.07.2025 புதன்    

"உமது காட்டுப்புறாவின் ஆத்துமாவைத் துஷ்டருடைய கூட்டத்திற்கு ஒப்புக்கொடாதேயும்; உமது ஏழைகளின் கூட்டத்தை என்றைக்கும் மறவாதேயும். உம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கையை நினைத்தருளும்; பூமியின் இருளான இடங்கள் கொடுமையுள்ள குடியிருப்புகளால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறதே." ( சங்கீதம் 74 : 19, 20 )

புறா வேதாகமத்தில் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் குறிப்பிடப்படும் பறவையாகும். புதிய ஏற்பாட்டில் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவருக்கு உருவாக அடையாளமாக புறா குறிப்பிடப்படுகின்றது. அதுபோல காட்டுப்புறாவைப் பற்றியும் வேதாகமத்தில் சில இடங்களில் குறிப்பிடப்படுவதை நாம் காணலாம். Turtledove, Wilddove என ஆங்கிலத்தில் இவை குறிக்கப்படுகின்றன. 

வேதாகமத்தில் தேவனுடைய மக்கள் காட்டுப்  புறாக்களுக்கு ஒப்பிடப்படுகிறார்கள்; இது ஏனென்றால் ஆவிக்குரிய மக்களின் பலவீனம் ஆபத்தான உலகில் பாதுகாப்பிற்கான அவர்களது தேவை இவை காட்டுப்புறாக்களின் நிலைமைக்கு ஒப்பாக இருக்கின்றது. மனிதர்களிடையே வசிக்கும் புறாக்களுக்குப் பாதுகாப்பு உண்டு. ஆனால் காட்டுப்புறாக்களுக்கு கழுகு, பைரி, ஆந்தை, வல்லூறு போன்ற எதிரி பறவைகளால் ஆபத்து எப்போதும் உண்டு. இதுபோலவே, ஆவிக்குரிய காட்டுப்புறா மக்களுக்கு பல்வேறு உலக நாட்டங்களும் பாவ காரியங்களும் எதிராக நின்று அவர்களது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வைக் கெடுக்க முயல்கின்றன. 

மட்டுமல்ல, மனிதர்களிடையே வசிக்கும் புறாக்களுக்கு உணவுப்பஞ்சம் ஏற்பட வாய்ப்பில்லை.  அவைகளுக்கு எளிதாக உணவு கிடைக்கும். மட்டுமல்ல, வீடுகளிலேயே அவற்றை உணவுகொடுத்து வளர்ப்பார்கள். ஆனால் காட்டுப்புறாக்களின் நிலைமை அப்படியல்ல, அவை எதிரிப் பறவைகளிடமும் சிக்கிக்கொள்ளாமல் தங்களுக்கான உணவினைத் தேடிக் கண்டுபிடிக்கவேண்டும்.  ஆவிக்குரிய மக்களின் உலகத் தேவைகளும் இதுபோலவே பல்வேறு சமயங்களில் சிக்கலானதாகவே இருக்கின்றன. தங்களுக்கான ஆவிக்குரிய ஏற்ற உணவை அவர்கள் தேடித்தான் கண்டுபிடிக்கவேண்டும்.

எனவேதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் சங்கீத ஆசிரியர், உமது காட்டுப்புறாவின் ஆத்துமாவைத் துஷ்டருடைய கூட்டத்திற்கு ஒப்புக்கொடாதேயும்; உமது ஏழைகளின் கூட்டத்தை என்றைக்கும் மறவாதேயும், பூமியின் இருளான இடங்கள் கொடுமையுள்ள குடியிருப்புகளால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறதே என்று வேண்டுதல் செய்கின்றார். தேவனுக்கேற்றவர்களை அவர் ஏழைகளின் கூட்டம் என்று கூறுகின்றார். ஆம்,  கிறிஸ்து இல்லாத இடங்களாக பூமியானது கொடுமையுள்ள குடியிருப்புகளால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது. இவற்றிலிருந்து காட்டுப்புறாக்களான ஏழைகளின் கூட்டமாகிய நாம் தப்பவேண்டும். 

ஆனால் நாம் உன்னதப்பாட்டில் இந்த நிலைமைக்கு மாறுதல் உண்டு, நமது தேசம் காட்டுப்புறாக்களான தேவனுடைய விசுவாசிகளால் நிரப்பப்பட்டு அவர்களது வேண்டுதலால் நிறையும் ஆவிக்குரிய எழுப்புதல் ஏற்படும் என்பதனையும்  நமக்குக் கூறுகின்றது. "பூமியிலே புஷ்பங்கள் காணப்படுகிறது; குருவிகள் பாடுங்காலம் வந்தது, காட்டுப்புறாவின் சத்தம் நமது தேசத்தில் கேட்கப்படுகிறது." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 2 : 12 ) என்று நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். பூமியிலே மலர்கள் பூத்து குருவிகள் பாடும் வசந்த எழுப்புதல்காலம் வரும்போது தேசத்திலே காட்டுப்புறாவின் சத்தமும் கேட்கப்படும். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, காட்டுப்புறாவாகிய நமது ஆத்துமாவைப்  பாவம் சாபம் போன்ற துஷ்டருடைய கூட்டத்திற்கு ஒப்புக்கொடாமல் இருக்கவும், ஏழைகளின் கூட்டமாகிய நம்மை அவர் என்றைக்கும் மறவாமலிருக்கவும் வேண்டுதல் செய்வோம். காரணம், இந்த பூமி இருளான இடங்களாகவும்  கொடுமையுள்ள குடியிருப்புகளாலும் நிறைந்திருக்கின்றது. மட்டுமல்ல, நமது தேசத்தில் வசந்தகால ஆவிக்குரிய எழுப்புதல் ஏற்பட்டுக் காட்டுப்புறாக்களின் சத்தம் எங்கும் கேட்டிடவும் வேண்டுதல் செய்வோம்.  தேவன்தாமே நமது தேசத்தை ஆசீர்வதிப்பாராக.

Scripture Meditation No. 1607
Aathavan – Wednesday, 02.07.2025

"O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever. Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty." — Psalm 74:19–20 (KJV)

The dove is a bird mentioned frequently in the Bible. In the New Testament, the dove is seen as a symbol of the Holy Spirit. Similarly, the Bible also refers to the turtledove and wild dove in several places.God’s people are compared to wild doves in Scripture. 

This is because the spiritual weakness of God’s people and their need for protection in a perilous world resemble the condition of wild doves. Doves that live among people often enjoy safety. But wild doves constantly face danger from predators like eagles, hawks, owls, and other enemy birds. In the same way, spiritual wild doves — God’s faithful believers — are opposed by worldly powers and sinful forces that seek to destroy their spiritual life.

Moreover, doves that live among people do not suffer from lack of food. They are easily fed, often even raised and cared for in homes. But wild doves must search for their food and escape predators to survive. This mirrors the condition of spiritual believers whose worldly needs are often not easily met — they must seek and discover the nourishment that suits their spirit.

This is why in today’s meditation verse, the Psalmist pleads:

"O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever... for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty." (Psalm 74:19–20)

The Psalmist refers to God’s chosen ones as “the congregation of Thy poor”. Yes, the earth — where Christ is not known — is filled with dwellings of cruelty. We, the poor and vulnerable like wild doves, must be delivered from these.

Yet, the Song of Solomon gives us hope of transformation. It tells us that our land, filled with faithful wild doves, will experience a spiritual revival through their prayers:

"The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land." — Song of Solomon 2:12 (KJV)

When the season of spiritual spring arrives — when the flowers bloom and the birds sing — the voice of the turtledove will also be heard throughout our land. It is a sign of revival.

Yes, beloved, let us earnestly pray that our soul, like that of a turtledove, be not delivered unto the wicked — that God never forget the congregation of His poor. For truly, the earth is full of darkness and habitations of cruelty. Let us also pray for a spiritual spring revival in our land, where the voice of the turtledove — God’s faithful people — will be heard far and wide.

May the Lord Himself bless our nation.
