❤️Meditation verse - லுூக்கா 12: 24 / Luke 12:24

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,514   

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 30, 2025. 💚ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை

"காகங்களைக் கவனித்துப்பாருங்கள், அவைகள் விதைக்கிறதுமில்லை அறுக்கிறதுமில்லை, அவைகளுக்குப் பண்டசாலையுமில்லை, களஞ்சியமுமில்லை, இல்லாவிட்டாலும் அவைகளையும் தேவன் பிழைப்பூட்டுகிறார்; பறவைகளைப்பார்க்கிலும் நீங்கள் எவ்வளவோ விசேஷித்தவர்களாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்." ( லுூக்கா 12: 24)

இன்றைய தியான வசனமானது பலருக்குக் குழப்பத்தை ஏற்படுத்தக்கூடும். ஆடு, மாடு, பறவைகளை இவை உழைக்காமல் இருந்து உண்கின்றன; அவைகளும் உலகத்தில் வாழ்கின்றன. நம்மையும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து அவைகளைப்போல உழைக்காமல் இருக்கச் சொல்கின்றாரா? 

அப்படியல்ல, இன்றைய தியான வசனம், உலகத் தேவைகளுக்கு முன்னுரிமைகொடுக்காமல் தேவனையே நாம் உறுதியாகப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு வாழவேண்டுமென்று வலியுறுத்துகின்றது. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, பறவைகளையே உணவுகொடுத்துக் காப்பாற்றும் தேவன் தனது சாயலில் ரூபத்திலும் தான் படைத்த மனிதனைக் காப்பாற்றாமல் கைவிடுவாரா? நிச்சயமாக விடமாட்டார் என்கின்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் கூறும் வார்த்தைகள் முற்றிலும் பொருளாசைகொண்டு அதனைச் சேமிக்கவே உழைத்து தனது வாழ்வை அழிக்கும் மனிதர்களுக்குத்தான் இதனை அறிவுரையாகக் கூறுகின்றார். இன்றையத் தியான வசனத்தைக் கூறுமுன் இயேசு ஒரு செல்வந்தனின் உவமையினைக் கூறுகின்றார். பொருளாசைகொண்ட அவன் தனது நிலம் அதிக விளைச்சலைக் கொடுத்ததால் அதில் திருத்தியடையாமல் இன்னும் அதிகம் சேர்த்துவைக்கவேண்டி தனது களஞ்சியத்தை மேலும் பெரிதாக்கிக் கட்டுவேன் என்று உள்ளத்தில் சொல்லிக்கொண்டான். 

பல ஆண்டுகள் கவலையற்று வாழ அவன் எண்ணினான். ஆனால் தேவன் அந்தச் செல்வந்தனிடம் "மதிகேடனே, உன் ஆத்துமா உன்னிடத்திலிருந்து இந்த இராத்திரியிலே எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படும், அப்பொழுது நீ சேகரித்தவைகள் யாருடையதாகும்." ( லுூக்கா 12: 20) என்று கேட்கின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது செல்வங்கள் நமது கவலைகளைத் தீர்ப்பதில்லை. தேவ கிருபையில்லாமல் நாம் சேமிக்கும் பொருள் எதற்கும் உதவாது. ஒரு கொடிய நோய் நம்மைத் தாக்குமேயானால் எல்லாம் வீணாகிவிடும். தேவனது கிருபையே நம்மைத் தாங்கி நடந்திடும். எனவே நாம் நமது செல்வங்களைச் சார்ந்து வாழாமல் தேவனது கிருபையினைச் சார்ந்து வாழவேண்டுமென்று இயேசு வலியுறுத்துகின்றார். காகங்கள் சேர்த்துவைக்காமல் வாழவில்லையா என்று அவைகளை நமக்கு உதாரணமாகக் கூறுகின்றார். 

நமக்கு என்னத்தேவை என்பது தேவனுக்குத் தெரியும். நாம் தேவன்மேல் விசுவாசம்கொண்டு உண்மையாக உழைப்போமானால் தேவன் நமது தேவைகளைச் சந்திப்பார். அதாவது நாம் முன்னுரிமை கொடுக்கவேண்டியது தேவனுக்குத்தான். அப்படி அவரை நாம் தேடுபவர்களாக வாழ்வோமானால் நம்மை அவர் கைவிடமாட்டார். ஆடுகள் மேய்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்த தாவீதை அவர் ராஜாவாக உயர்த்தவில்லையா? 

"தம்முடைய தாசனாகிய தாவீதைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, ஆட்டுத்தொழுவங்களிலிருந்து அவனை எடுத்தார். கறவலாடுகளின் பின்னாகத் திரிந்த அவனை, தம்முடைய ஜனமாகிய யாக்கோபையும் தம்முடைய சுதந்தரமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலையும் மேய்ப்பதற்காக, அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவந்தார்." ( சங்கீதம் 78: 70, 71) ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கர்த்தரைத் தேடுபவர்களுக்கோ சிறு நன்மையையும் குறைவுபடாது. "தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையே தேடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக் கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும்." ( லுூக்கா 12: 31) என்கிறார் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து.

AATHAVAN 💚 March 30, 2025 💚 Sunday

"Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?" (Luke 12:24, KJV)

Today’s meditation verse might cause confusion for many. Sheep, cattle, and birds live without toiling, yet they are fed and survive in this world. Is Jesus Christ asking us to live without working, just like them?

No, today’s meditation verse emphasizes that we should not prioritize worldly needs but firmly hold onto God and live for Him. Yes, dear ones, will God, who feeds and cares for the birds, abandon humans, created in His own image and likeness? Certainly not, says Jesus Christ.

In today’s meditation verse, Jesus addresses those consumed by greed, who work tirelessly to accumulate wealth, ultimately destroying their lives. Before sharing this verse, Jesus tells the parable of a rich man. Driven by greed, the man, after his land yielded abundant produce, planned to build larger barns to store his surplus.

He thought to himself, “I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.” But God said to him, “Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?” (Luke 12:19-20, KJV).

Yes, dear ones, our wealth cannot solve our worries. Without God’s grace, the riches we accumulate are useless. If a severe illness strikes us, everything becomes vain. It is God’s grace that sustains and carries us. Therefore, Jesus urges us not to depend on our wealth but to rely on God’s grace. He uses the ravens as an example, showing that they live without storing up.

God knows what we need. If we remain faithful to Him and work diligently, He will provide for our needs. That is, our priority should be God. If we seek Him, He will not forsake us. Did He not elevate David, who was tending sheep, to be a king?

"He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds: from following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance." (Psalm 78:70-71, KJV). Yes, dear ones, those who seek the Lord will lack no good thing. "But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Luke 12:31, KJV), says the Lord Jesus Christ.

❤️Meditation verse - 1 தீமோத்தேயு 4: 8 / 1 Timothy 4:8

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 29, 2025. 💚சனிக்கிழமை

"சரீரமுயற்சி அற்பபிரயோஜனமுள்ளது; தேவபக்தியானது இந்த ஜீவனுக்கும் இதற்குப் பின்வரும் ஜீவனுக்கும் வாக்குத்தத்தமுள்ளதாகையால் எல்லாவற்றிலும் பிரயோஜனமுள்ளது." (1 தீமோத்தேயு 4: 8)

இந்த உலகத்தில் மனிதர்கள் நல்ல ஆரோக்கியத்துடன் வாழவும் தங்கள் உடலைப் பேணவும் பல்வேறு முயற்சிகளை மேற்கொள்கின்றனர். சிலர் அதிகாலை நான்கு நான்கரை மணிக்கு எழுந்து உடற்பயிற்சி, நடைப்பயிற்சி மேற்கொள்கின்றனர். அதுபோல உணவுகளில் சில உணவுகளைத் தவிர்த்து சில உணவுகளை அதிகம் உட்கொள்கின்றனர். இத்தகையைச் செயல்கள் உடலுக்கு வேண்டுமானால் பலன்தரக்கூடும்.  

ஆவிக்குரிய செயல் என்பதும்   இதுபோன்றதுதான் என்று எண்ணி பலர் இதுபோன்ற உடலைப்பேணும் காரியங்களை பக்தி என்று கருதி செய்கின்றனர். தேவன் இத்தகைய உடலைப்பேணும் காரியங்களை மேலாகக் கருதுவார் என்று எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். குறிப்பிட்டக் காலங்களில் சில உணவுகளைத் தவிர்ப்பது,  உடல்சார்ந்த சில ஒடுக்க முயற்சிகளைச்  செய்வது இவை தேவனைத் திருப்திப்படுத்தும் என எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். "இப்படிப்பட்ட போதனைகள் சுய இஷ்டமான ஆராதனையையும், மாயமான தாழ்மையையும், சரீர ஒடுக்கத்தையும் பற்றி ஞானமென்கிற பேர்கொண்டிருந்தாலும், இவைகள் மாம்சத்தைப் பேணுகிறதற்கே ஒழிய மற்றொன்றிற்கும் பிரயோஜனப்படாது." ( கொலோசெயர் 2: 23)

ஆம் அன்பானபவர்களே, இதுபோன்ற சரீர முயற்சிகள் அற்பமானவை என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. ஆனால், தேவபக்தியானது இந்த ஜீவனுக்கும் இதற்குப் பின்வரும் ஜீவனுக்கும் வாக்குத்தத்தமுள்ளதாகையால் எல்லாவற்றிலும் பிரயோஜனமுள்ளது." என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. எது மெய்யான தேவபக்தி என்பதற்கு அப்போஸ்தலரான யாக்கோபு மூன்று  காரியங்களைக் கூறுகின்றார். 

1. நமது பேச்சிலே அடக்கமாக இருப்பது. இதனையே அவர், "உங்களில் ஒருவன் தன் நாவை அடக்காமல், தன் இருதயத்தை வஞ்சித்து, தன்னை தேவபக்தியுள்ளவனென்று எண்ணினால் அவனுடைய தேவபக்தி வீணாயிருக்கும்." (யாக்கோபு 1:26) என்று கூறுகின்றார்.

2. திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகள், விதவைகள் படும் உபத்திரவத்தில் அவர்களுக்கு உதவுவது.

3. உலக பாவங்கள் நம்மை மேற்கொள்ளாமல், அவற்றால் நாம் கறைபடாமல் நம்மைக் காத்துக்கொள்வது. ( யாக்கோபு 1: 27) என்று கூறுகின்றார். எனவே, இத்தகைய 

தேவனைத் திருப்திப்படுத்த உடல் சார்ந்த சில ஒடுக்குமுறைகள் செய்வதே போதும் என்று எண்ணி அவற்றையே பின்பற்றி தேவன் விரும்பும் மற்ற காரியங்களை விட்டுவிடுவோமானால்  அதனால் எந்தப்  பயனுமில்லை. பிற மத சகோதரர்கள் இதுபோல பல உடல்சார்ந்த செயல்பாடுகளில் ஈடுபடுகின்றனர். அவர்களைப்பார்த்து கிறிஸ்தவர்களிலும் பலர் இவ்வாறு செய்கின்றனர். எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, உடல்சார்ந்த சில செயல்களை மட்டும் செய்து அதனால் தேவனைத் திருப்திப்படுத்தலாம் என எண்ணுவது கிறிஸ்த போதனையல்ல. அவைகளுக்கு மட்டுமே முன்னுரிமைகொடுத்து வாழ்வோமானால் நம்மை நாமே வஞ்சிக்கிறவர்களாகவே  இருப்போம்.

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,513

AATHAVAN – March 29, 2025 (Saturday) 💚

"For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come." (1 Timothy 4:8, KJV)

In this world, people make various efforts to maintain good health and take care of their bodies. Some wake up as early as 4:00 or 4:30 AM for exercise and walking. They also follow specific dietary restrictions, avoiding certain foods while consuming others in greater amounts. Such activities may indeed be beneficial for the body.

Many assume that spiritual activities are similar to bodily discipline. They believe that maintaining physical practices is equivalent to devotion and that God esteems such bodily efforts highly. Some think that fasting at specific times or engaging in acts of self-discipline pleases God. However, the Bible says:

"Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh." (Colossians 2:23, KJV)

Beloved, today’s meditation verse declares that such bodily efforts are of little value. However, godliness is beneficial for both this life and the life to come. The Apostle James highlights three essential aspects of true godliness:

1. Controlling our speech. He states: "If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain." (James 1:26, KJV)

2. Helping orphans and widows in their distress.

3. Keeping ourselves unspotted from the sins of the world.

James further clarifies: "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." (James 1:27, KJV)

Thus, we understand that true godliness is profitable for both this life and the life to come.

If we assume that mere physical acts of self-discipline are sufficient to please God and neglect other aspects of His will, it will be of no benefit. People of other faiths engage in numerous bodily practices, and seeing them, even some Christians follow them.

Beloved, merely performing physical rituals and believing that they alone will satisfy God is not Christian teaching. If we prioritize such things over true godliness, we deceive ourselves.

❤️Meditation verse - லுூக்கா 16: 31 / Luke 16:31

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,512   

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 28, 2025. 💚வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"அவர்கள் மோசேக்கும் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்கும் செவிகொடாவிட்டால், மரித்தோரிலிருந்து ஒருவன் எழுந்துபோனாலும், நம்பமாட்டார்கள்." ( லுூக்கா 16: 31)

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறிய  செல்வந்தனும் லாசரும் உவமையின் இறுதியில் ஆபிரகாம் செல்வந்தனிடம் கூறுவதுதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனம். இந்த வார்த்தைகள்மூலம் மேலான ஒரு சத்தியம் நமக்கு அறிவிக்கப்படுகின்றது. 

இன்று பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் அதிசயம், அற்புதங்களை நாடித்தான் தேவனிடம் வருகின்றார்களேத்தவிர தேவனையோ, அவரது அன்பினையோ நாடி வருவதில்லை. உண்மையான தேவ அன்பு என்பது ஒரு குழந்தை தனது பெற்றோரை நேசித்து அவர்களோடு எப்போதும் சேர்ந்திருக்க விரும்புவதுபோன்ற விருப்பச் செயலாகும். இப்படி நாம் அவரை அன்பு செய்யும்போது அவரது கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்படிகின்றவர்களாகவும் இருப்போம். ஆம், தேவனை அன்பு செய்வது என்பது அவரது கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதாகும். "நாம் தேவனுடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்வதே அவரிடத்தில் அன்புகூருவதாம்; அவருடைய கற்பனைகள் பாரமானவைகளுமல்ல." (1 யோவான்  5 : 3) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக்காலத்தில் மோசேமூலமும் தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் மூலமும் பல்வேறு கட்டளைகளைக் கொடுத்த தேவன் இன்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மூலம் அன்புக் கட்டளைகளை நமக்குத் தந்துள்ளார். அவரது திருத்தூதர்கள் வழியாக பல்வேறு படிப்பினைகளைக் கொடுத்துள்ளார். இயேசு கிறிஸ்து செல்வந்தனும் லாசரும் உவமையில் கூறுவதுபோல இந்தப் புதிய நியமங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாமல் வெறும் அற்புதம் அதிசயம் என அலைவோமானால் செல்வந்தனைப்போல பரிதபிக்கக்கூடியவர்களாக மாறிவிடுவோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, மரித்தவன் உயிர்த்து எழுந்ததுபோன்ற வல்லமையான அற்புதங்களை நாம் கண்ணால் கண்டாலும் அல்லது நமது வாழ்வில் அனுபவித்தாலும் தேவனிடம் மெய்யான அன்புகூராமல் போவோமானால் அதனால் என்ன பயன்? முதலில் மோசேக்கும் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் கீழ்படியவேண்டும் என்று கூறப்பட்டதுபோல புதிய ஏற்பாட்டுக்கால மக்களாகிய நாம் புதிய ஏற்பாட்டு நியமங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  

நாம் பல்வேறு ஜெபக் கூட்டங்களில் பங்கேற்று பல்வேறு தேவ மனிதர்களது செய்திகளைக் கேட்டிருக்கலாம். அல்லது ஆராதனைகளில் கலந்துகொண்டு நற்கருணை உட்கொண்டிருக்கலாம் அனால் அவைகள் நம்மை இறுதிநாளில் இரட்சிக்க உதவாது. அவற்றை நாம் தேவனிடம் எடுத்துக்கூறி அவரது இரக்கத்தைப் பெறமுடியாது. 

இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "அப்பொழுது நீங்கள்: உம்முடைய சமுகத்தில் போஜனபானம்பண்ணினோமே, நீர் எங்கள் வீதிகளில் போதகம்பண்ணினீரே என்று சொல்லுவீர்கள். ஆனாலும் அவர்: நீங்கள் எவ்விடத்தாரோ, உங்களை அறியேன், அக்கிரமக்காரராகிய நீங்களெல்லாரும் என்னைவிட்டு அகன்றுபோங்கள் என்று சொல்லுவார் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்." ( லுூக்கா 13: 26, 27) என்றார். 

தேவனிடம் மெய்யான அன்பு இல்லாத மனிதர்கள்; தேவனது அன்பை வாழ்வில் மெய்யாக உணராத மனிதர்கள்,  மரித்துப்போனவன் எழுந்து வந்து நிற்பதைக் கண்ணால் கண்டாலும் அந்த அற்புதத்தைக்  கைதட்டி ரசிப்பார்களேத்தவிர வேதாகம சத்தியங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கமாட்டார்கள். இதனையே இயேசு கூறிய உவமையில், "ஆபிரகாம் அவனை நோக்கி: அவர்களுக்கு மோசேயும் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் உண்டு, அவர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் செவிகொடுக்கட்டும் என்றான்." ( லுூக்கா 16: 29) என்று ஆபிரகாம் கூறுவதாகக் கூறினார். அதிசய அற்புதங்களுக்கு அல்ல, மாறாக தேவ வார்த்தைகளுக்கு முன்னுரிமை கொடுப்போம்.

"If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead." (Luke 16:31)

At the end of the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, spoken by Jesus Christ, Abraham's response to the rich man forms today’s meditation verse. Through these words, a profound truth is revealed to us.

Today, many people seek God only for miracles and wonders rather than seeking Him and His love. True divine love is like a child loving its parents and desiring to always be with them. When we love God in such a manner, we will also obey His commandments. Yes, to love God means to obey His commandments. As it is written, "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." (1 John 5:3)

In the Old Testament, God gave various commandments through Moses and the prophets. Today, through Jesus Christ, He has given us the commandment of love and has taught us many lessons through His apostles. As Jesus states in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, if we ignore these new commandments and run after miracles and wonders alone, we may end up lamenting like the rich man.

Beloved, even if we witness extraordinary miracles, such as the resurrection of the dead, or experience such wonders in our own lives, what benefit will they bring if we do not love God sincerely? Just as it was said that one must obey Moses and the prophets, we, as people of the New Testament, must obey the commandments of the New Covenant.

We may have attended many prayer meetings, listened to numerous sermons by godly men, and participated in worship services and took eucharists. However, in the end, these alone will not save us. We cannot claim them before God to obtain His mercy.

Jesus Christ Himself warned, "Then shall ye begin to say, we have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity." (Luke 13:26-27)

Those who do not have true love for God and have not genuinely experienced His love in their lives will only applaud and admire miracles, even if someone rises from the dead before their very eyes. But they will not heed the truths of the Scriptures. This is why Jesus, in His parable, quotes Abraham saying, "Abraham saith unto him, they have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them." (Luke 16:29)

Let us prioritize the Word of God over signs and wonders.

❤️Meditation verse - 2 கொரிந்தியர் 12 : 7 / 2 Corinthians 12:7

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,511   

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 27, 2025. 💚வியாழக்கிழமை

"அன்றியும், எனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டவைகளுக்குரிய மேன்மையினிமித்தம் நான் என்னை உயர்த்தாதபடிக்கு, என் மாம்சத்திலே ஒரு முள் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; என்னை நான் உயர்த்தாதபடிக்கு, அது என்னைக் குட்டும் சாத்தானுடைய தூதனாயிருக்கிறது." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 12 : 7 )

பொதுவாக மனிதர்கள் தங்களுக்கு வரும் நோய்கள், துன்பங்களை தேவன் அளிக்கும் தண்டனையாக எண்ணுகின்றனர். வெகுசிலர் தேவன் தங்களைப் புடமிட்டு மேன்மைப்படுத்துவதற்காகத் துன்பங்களைக் கொடுத்துள்ளார் என எண்ணுகின்றனர். 

நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு வாழும்போது சிலவேளைகளில் நமக்குத் துன்பங்கள் தொடரவேச்  செய்யும். ஆனால் அதனால் நமது வாழ்க்கை சரியல்ல, ஏதோ தவறு செய்துவிட்டோம் என்று கலங்கவேண்டியதில்லை. இதற்குப் பல காரணங்கள் இருக்கலாம். ஒருவேளை யோபுவைபோல நம்மைப் புடமிடவும் மேலான ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையை நாம் அனுபவிக்கத் தகுதியுள்ளவர்கள் ஆகும்படிக்கும்  தேவன் துன்பங்களை நமது வாழ்வில் அனுமதிக்கலாம். 

ஆனால் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் இவைகளுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டக் கருத்தைத் தனது அனுபவத்தில் உணர்ந்து கொண்டதாக  அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது, அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலுக்கு தேவன் மேலான ஆவிக்குரிய அனுபவங்களைக் கொடுத்திருந்தார். அவர் மூன்றாம் வானம் வரை எடுக்கப்பட்டு பரலோக தரிசனத்தைப் பெற்றவர். மனிதர்கள் பேசாத மகிமையான தேவ வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டவர்.  இதனால் அவர் ஆவிக்குரிய பெருமை கொண்டுவிடக்கூடாது என்பதற்காக அவருக்கு உடலில் ஒரு முள்ளை தேவன் கொடுத்திருந்தார் என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். 

"மேன்மைபாராட்டுகிறது எனக்குத் தகுதியல்லவே; ஆகிலும், கர்த்தர் அருளிய தரிசனங்களையும் வெளிப்படுத்தல்களையும் சொல்லுகிறேன். கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள்ளான ஒரு மனுஷனை அறிவேன்; அவன் பதினாலு வருஷத்திற்கு முன்னே மூன்றாம் வானம்வரைக்கும் எடுக்கப்பட்டான்; அவன் சரீரத்திலிருந்தானோ, சரீரத்திற்குப் புறம்பேயிருந்தானோ, அதை அறியேன்; தேவன் அறிவார்.  அந்த மனுஷன் பரதீசுக்குள் எடுக்கப்பட்டு, மனுஷர் பேசப்படாததும் வாக்குக்கெட்டாததுமாகிய வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டானென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்". (2 கொரிந்தியர் 12:1-3)

இப்படித் தனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டவைகளுக்குரிய மேன்மையினிமித்தம் தன்னைத் தான் உயர்த்தாதபடிக்குத்  தனது  மாம்சத்திலே ஒரு முள் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது என்கிறார் அவர். 

ஒருமுறை ஒரு ஆவிக்குரிய சபையில் நான் சந்தித்த பாட்டி ஒருவர் தனது குடும்பத்துத் துன்பங்களையும் தனது நோய்களையும் குறிப்பிட்டு என்னிடம், "பவுலுக்குத் தேவன் கொடுத்ததுபோன்ற முள்ளை எனக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்" என்று புலம்பினார். ஆனால், அந்தப் பாட்டியின் மருமகளோ பாட்டியைக்குறித்துப்  பல குறைகளைக் கூறி, "அவள் ஒரு சூனியகாரக் கிழவி" என்று சபித்தாள். அந்த மருமகள் கூறுவது உண்மைதான் என்பது பலரிடம் கேட்டபோது புரிந்தது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நம்மில் யாரும் பவுல் பெற்றதுபோன்ற மேலான தேவ அனுபவங்களைப்  பெறவில்லை. எனவே அவரோடு நம்மை ஒப்பிட்டு,  "பவுல் அனுபவித்த முள்ளைப்போல நான் அனுபவிக்கிறேன்" என்று கூறுவோமானால் நம்மை நாமே வஞ்சிக்கிறவர்களாக இருப்போம். 

நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் துன்பங்கள் வருகின்றதென்றால், நம்மை நாமே நிதானித்துப்பார்த்துத் தவறைத் திருத்திக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். எந்தத் தவறும் செய்யாதபோதும் துன்பங்கள் தொடர்கின்றன என்றால் தேவன் நம்மைப் புடமிடுகின்றார் என்று பொருள்.  இதற்கு மேலாக, பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலருடன் நம்மை ஒப்பிட்டு நமது துன்பங்களை நியாயப்படுவதுவோமானால் நாம் பரிதபிக்கக்கூடியவர்களாகவே  இருப்போம்.

Bible Meditation - No. 1,511

AATHAVAN 💚 March 27, 2025 (Thursday) 💚

"And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure." (2 Corinthians 12:7, KJV)

People generally perceive sickness and suffering as God’s punishment. A few, however, consider them as trials that God allows to refine and elevate them spiritually.

At times, when we lead a spiritual life, sufferings may persist. This does not necessarily mean that our life is not right or that we have committed some sin. There can be multiple reasons behind it. Perhaps, like Job, God allows afflictions to refine us and make us worthy of experiencing a higher spiritual life.

However, today's meditation verse presents a different perspective, as Apostle Paul shares his personal experience. God had granted Paul profound spiritual revelations—he was caught up into the third heaven and had heavenly visions. He heard inexpressible words that no man could utter. To prevent him from becoming spiritually proud, God allowed a thorn in his flesh.

"It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter." (2 Corinthians 12:1-4, KJV)

Thus, Paul acknowledges that he was given a thorn in his flesh to keep him from being exalted due to the greatness of the revelations he had received.

Once, during a spiritual meeting, I met an elderly woman who lamented about the hardships and illnesses in her life. She said, "God has given me a thorn in the flesh, just like He did to Paul." However, her daughter-in-law accused her of being a sorceress, and upon inquiry, I realized that the accusations against her were indeed true.

Dearly beloved, none of us have received the extraordinary divine experiences that Paul had. Therefore, if we compare ourselves to him and claim, "I suffer the same thorn as Paul did," we deceive ourselves.

When we face sufferings in our spiritual life, we must examine ourselves, correct our mistakes, and seek God's guidance. If sufferings persist even when we are blameless, it means God is refining us. However, if we compare our afflictions with those of Apostle Paul and justify them as similar, we may only be fooling ourselves.

❤️Meditation verse - யோவான் 15 : 7 / John 15:7

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,510   

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 26, 2025. 💚புதன்கிழமை

"நீங்கள் என்னிலும், என் வார்த்தைகள் உங்களிலும் நிலைத்திருந்தால், நீங்கள் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளுவதெதுவோ அது உங்களுக்குச் செய்யப்படும்." ( யோவான் 15 : 7 )

நாம் பலவேளைகளில் பல்வேறு விண்ணப்பங்களுடன் தேவனை நோக்கி ஜெபிக்கின்றோம். ஆனால் தேவன் எப்போதும் நமது ஜெபங்களுக்கு உடனடியாகப் பதில் தருவதில்லை. ஆனால் மக்கள்  ஜெபிக்காத பல காரியங்களை மனிதர்களுக்குத் தேவன் கொடுத்துக்கொண்டுதானிருக்கிறார்.  தன்னை ஆராதிப்பவர்களுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, உலகத்திலுள்ள அனைவருக்கும் தேவன் பல காரியங்களைக் கொடுத்து வாழவைத்துக் கொண்டுதானிருக்கிறார். 

ஆனால் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் குறிப்பிடுவது குறிப்பிட்ட நமது ஜெப விண்ணப்பங்களைக் குறித்துத்தான். மட்டுமல்ல, இந்த வசனம் பொதுவான மக்களுக்கான வசனம்போல இருந்தாலும், இது ஆவிக்குரிய அர்த்தமுள்ள வசனமாகும். கேட்டுக்கொள்வது அனைத்தையும் தேவன் தனது பிள்ளைகளுக்குக் கொடுப்பதில்லை. ஒரு தாய்க்குத் தனது குழந்தைக்கு எதனை எப்போது கொடுக்கவேண்டுமென்று தெரிந்திருப்பதுபோல தேவனுக்கும் தெரியும். எனவே, ஏற்றவேளையில் அதனை அவர் தந்து மகிழ்ச்சிப்படுத்துவார்.  

அப்படித் தேவன் நமது ஜெபத்துக்குப் பதிலளிக்க அவர் கூறும் நிபந்தனைதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனம். அதாவது, நாம் தேவனது வார்த்தைகளை மனதில் கொண்டு அவற்றின்படி வாழ்ந்து அவற்றில் நிலைத்திருப்போமானால் நமது வேண்டுதல்களை அவர் நிறைவேற்றுவார். இதனையே அவர், "நீங்கள் என்னிலும், என் வார்த்தைகள் உங்களிலும் நிலைத்திருந்தால், நீங்கள் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளுவதெதுவோ அது உங்களுக்குச் செய்யப்படும்." என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

வேதாகமத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள பல வசனங்களில் நமக்குத் தேவையான குறிப்பிட்ட ஒரு சில வசனங்களைப் பொறுக்கியெடுத்து நாம் தேவனது வார்த்தைகளுக்கு அர்த்தம் எடுக்கக்கூடாது. தேவன் கூறிய பல வசனங்களை ஒப்பிட்டு அவற்றைப் புரிந்துகொண்ட மனிதர்களாக வாழவேண்டும். இதற்கு பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நமக்கு கண்களைத் திறந்திட முதலில் ஜெபிக்கவேண்டும். 

ஆவிக்குரிய மெய்யான வாழ்வு வாழும் மனிதன் எப்போதும் உலகத் தேவைகளுக்காக மட்டுமே ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கமாட்டான். மேலான இறை அனுபவங்கள், ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் மேலும் முன்னேறிச்செல்லும் ஆர்வம் இவைகளின் அடிப்படையிலேயே ஆவிக்குரிய மக்களது ஜெபம் இருக்கும். இப்படி ஜெபித்து வாழ்பவர்களுக்குத் தேவன் அவர்கள் கேட்காத ஆசீர்வாதங்களையும் கொடுத்து மகிழ்விப்பார். இதனையே,  "முதலாவது   தேவனுடைய  ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக் கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும்." (மத்தேயு 6:33)  என்று கூறினார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

மனதில் நூறு சதவிகிதம் உலக ஆசையை வைத்துக்கொண்டு நாம் விண்ணப்பம் பண்ணும்போது அது தேவனுக்கு விருப்பமில்லாத ஜெபமாக மாறுகின்றது. இதனால்தான், "நீங்கள் விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணியும், உங்கள் இச்சைகளை நிறைவேற்றும்படி செலவழிக்கவேண்டுமென்று தகாதவிதமாய் விண்ணப்பம் பண்ணுகிறபடியினால், பெற்றுக்கொள்ளாமலிருக்கிறீர்கள்". (யாக்கோபு 4:3) என்று கூறுகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான யாக்கோபு. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றைய தியானத்தில்   ஜெபத்தைக்குறித்த மூன்று காரியங்களை உணர்த்துவது அவசியமென்று எண்ணுகின்றேன். 

1. நாம் நமது வாழ்வில் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்கு முன்னுரிமைகொடுத்து, அவற்றுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து ஜெபிக்கவேண்டும்.

2.  நமது ஜெபங்களில் ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களைக்குறித்த ஆர்வம் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

3. வெறும் உலக ஆசைகளை நிறைவேற்ற மட்டுமே ஜெபித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கக் கூடாது. 

இப்படி நாம் வாழ்வோமானால் "நீங்கள் கேட்டுக்கொள்ளுவதெதுவோ அது உங்களுக்குச் செய்யப்படும்." என்கிறார் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து.

AATHAVAN 💚 March 26, 2025 💚 Wednesday

"If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." (John 15:7, KJV)

Many times, we pray to God with various requests. However, God does not always respond to our prayers immediately. Yet, we see that God provides many things to people, even when they do not pray for them. He gives not only to those who worship Him but also to everyone in the world, sustaining them with various blessings.

However, in today’s meditation verse, Jesus Christ specifically speaks about our prayer requests. Though this verse may appear general, it carries a deep spiritual meaning. God does not grant all that we ask for, just as a mother knows what and when to give to her child. Similarly, God knows what is best for us and blesses us at the right time.

The condition that Jesus sets for answered prayers is found in today’s verse—if we abide in His words and live according to them, then our prayers will be fulfilled. That is why He says, "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."

We should not take isolated Bible verses out of context to interpret them as we please. Instead, we must understand God’s Word in its fullness. To do so, we need to pray for the Holy Spirit to open our spiritual eyes.

A person who leads a truly spiritual life will not pray only for worldly needs. Their prayers will be based on the desire for a deeper divine experience and spiritual growth. Those who pray with such a heart will receive even the blessings they have not asked for. This aligns with what Jesus said:

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33, KJV)

When we pray while being fully consumed by worldly desires, our prayers become unacceptable to God. This is why Apostle James says:

"Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts." (James 4:3, KJV)

Dearly beloved, today’s meditation highlights three important aspects of prayer:

1. We must prioritize God's Word in our lives, obey it, and pray accordingly.

2. Our prayers should have a desire for spiritual matters.

3. We should not pray only for worldly desires to be fulfilled.

If we live in this manner, "ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you," says our Lord Jesus Christ.

❤️Meditation verse - யோவான் 1 : 10, 11 / John 1:10, 11

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,509   

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 25, 2025. 💚செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"அவர் உலகத்தில் இருந்தார், உலகம் அவர் மூலமாய் உண்டாயிற்று, உலகமோ அவரை அறியவில்லை. அவர் தமக்குச் சொந்தமானதிலே வந்தார், அவருக்குச் சொந்தமானவர்களோ அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை." ( யோவான் 1 : 10, 11 )

சிலவேளைகளில் மனிதர்கள் தங்களை யாரும் புரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை என்று புலம்புவதுண்டு. சிலமாதங்களுக்குமுன் ஒரு பன்னிரெண்டாம் வகுப்பு மாணவன் தற்கொலை செய்து மடிந்த செய்தி பத்திரிகைகளில் வெளியானது. அந்த மாணவன் தான் தற்கொலைசெய்யும்முன் எழுதிவைத்திருந்தக்  கடிதத்தில், 'என் சாவுக்கு யாரும் காரணமல்ல; இந்த உலகத்தில் யாரும் என்னைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை என்பதால் சாகிறேன்" என்று எழுதிவைத்திருந்தான்.  

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நம்மை யாரும் புரிந்து கொள்ளவில்லையானால் நமக்கு அதுவே  வேதனையாக இருக்கும். அதுவும் நம்மிடம் உண்மை இருக்கும்போது அதனைப்  பிறர் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லையானால் அது மிகுந்த வேதனையளிக்கும். இதுபோலவே இந்த உலகத்தில் வந்த இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் வேதனை அனுபவித்தார். அதனையே அவரது அன்புச் சீடர் யோவான்,   "அவர் தமக்குச் சொந்தமானதிலே வந்தார், அவருக்குச் சொந்தமானவர்களோ அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை." என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

நம்மை நமது குடும்பத்தினர் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லையானால் எப்படி இருக்குமென்று எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள். முதியோர் இல்லங்களில் இப்படி தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளால் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படாத பெற்றோர்களை நாம் பார்க்கலாம்.  ஆம் அவர்கள் மூலமாய் உலகினில் வந்த பிள்ளைகளே அவர்களை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதில்லை. இதுபோலவே பிதாவாகிய தேவன் நாம் அவரது பிள்ளைகளாகும்படி உலக மக்கள்மேல் அன்புகூர்ந்தார். ஆனால் உலகமோ அவரை அறியவில்லை. இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான், "நாம் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளென்று அழைக்கப்படுவதினாலே பிதாவானவர் நமக்குப் பாராட்டின அன்பு எவ்வளவு பெரிதென்று பாருங்கள்; உலகம் அவரை அறியாதபடியினாலே நம்மையும் அறியவில்லை." ( 1 யோவான்  3 : 1 ) என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். 

இன்று பலவேளைகளில் நமது நாட்டில் கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதால் நாம் இரண்டாம்தரக்  குடிமக்களாக கருதப்படுகின்றோம். ஆனால் நாம் அதற்காகக் கவலைப்படத் தேவையில்லை. காரணம், கிறிஸ்துவையே இந்த உலகம் அறியவில்லை, ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை. பின்னர் நம்மை எப்படி ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்? 

கிறிஸ்தவ குடும்பங்களில்கூட கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதால் புறக்கணிக்கப்படும் மனிதர்கள் உண்டு. கிறிஸ்தவ கிராமங்களில்கூட கிறிஸ்துவை தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் அறிந்துகொண்டு ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை வாழும் கிறிஸ்தர்களை  "அல்லேலூயா கூட்டத்தைச் சார்ந்தவன் / சார்ந்தவள்" என்று ஒதுக்கிவைக்கும் அவலங்கள் நடைபெறுவதை நாம் காண்கின்றோம்.  ஆம், உலகம் அவரை அறியாததுபோலவே நம்மையும் அறியவில்லை. 

புறக்கணிக்கப்படும்போது மகிமையான வாழ்வை தேவன் நமக்கு ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளார் எனும் எண்ணம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் புறக்கணித்தல் வேதனை தருவதாக இருக்காது. பிரபல விஞ்ஞானி பெஞ்சமின் பிராங்கிளின் அவர்கள் பல்வேறு அரிய கண்டுபிடிப்புகளைத்  தனது அயராத ஆராய்ச்சிகளின்மூலம் கண்டறிந்தார். அவற்றில் சிறப்பானவை இடிதாங்கி, மைல் கணிப்பான் (ஓடோமீட்டர்), நீச்சல் இறக்கைகள், கண்ணாடி ஆர்மோனிக்கா (ஒரு இசைக்கருவி) மற்றும் பத்துக்கு மேற்பட்ட கண்டுபிடிப்புக்கள். 

ஆனால் முதலில் அவரை அவரது ஊர் பைத்தியக்காரன் என்று கூறியது. காரணம், அவரது செயல்பாடுகள் மற்றவர்களிலிருந்து வித்தியாசமானதாக இருந்தது. அவரது ஆராய்ச்சிகளை உலகம் பைத்தியத்தின் செயல்பாடாகப் பார்த்தது. ஆனால் அவர்தான் உலகிற்கு அரியபல கண்டுபிடிப்புகளை கண்டறிந்துகொடுத்தார்.    எனவே,  உலகம் நம்மைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லையெனும் கவலையை விட்டு நாம் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளென்று அழைக்கப்படுவதினாலே பிதாவானவர் நமக்குப் பாராட்டின அன்பு எவ்வளவு பெரிதென்று எண்ணி  மகிழ்ச்சிகொள்வோம்.

Scripture Meditation - No: 1,509

AATHAVAN 💚 March 25, 2025. 💚 Tuesday

"He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not." (John 1:10, 11 - KJV)

At times, people lament that no one understands them. A few months ago, newspapers reported the tragic suicide of a twelfth-grade student. In the note he left behind, he wrote, "No one is responsible for my death; I am ending my life because no one in this world understands me."

Yes, dear ones, when we feel that no one understands us, it causes deep sorrow. It is even more painful when we speak the truth, yet others refuse to accept it. The same pain was experienced by Jesus Christ when He came into this world. His beloved disciple John records this truth: "He came unto his own, and his own received him not."

Imagine how it would feel if our own family rejected us. We can witness this reality in old age homes, where elderly parents are abandoned by their own children—the very ones through whom they came into this world! Likewise, God the Father loved mankind so much that He desired to make them His children. But the world did not recognize Him. The Apostle John affirms this truth: "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore, the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not." (1 John 3:1 - KJV)

Even today, in many situations, Christians in our country are treated as second-class citizens because they have accepted Christ. But we should not be troubled by this. Why? Because the world neither knew nor accepted Christ Himself! How then will it accept us?

Even within Christian families, some individuals are ostracized for truly accepting Christ. In Christian villages, those who experience Christ personally and live a spiritual life are often labelled as "members of the Hallelujah group" and are cast aside. Just as the world did not know Christ, it does not recognize us either.

The renowned scientist Benjamin Franklin discovered several valuable inventions through his tireless research. Some of his remarkable inventions include the lightning rod, odometer, swim fins, glass armonica (a musical instrument), and more than ten other discoveries. However, in the beginning, his town called him a madman. The reason was that his actions were different from those of others. The world initially viewed his research as the work of a lunatic. But he was the one who gifted the world with many precious inventions.

Therefore, instead of worrying that the world does not understand us, let us rejoice in the great love the Father has bestowed upon us by calling us His children.

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 24, 2025. 💚திங்கள்கிழமை

"கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிரு; அவர் உன் இருதயத்தின் வேண்டுதல்களை உனக்கு அருள்செய்வார். உன் வழியைக் கர்த்தருக்கு ஒப்புவித்து, அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிரு; அவரே காரியத்தை வாய்க்கப்பண்ணுவார்." ( சங்கீதம் 37 : 4, 5 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் பல்வேறு பாடுகளையும் பிரச்சனைகளையும் கடந்து செல்லவேண்டியிருக்கிறது.  பிரச்சனையில்லாத வாழ்க்கை இல்லை. இத்தகைய இக்கட்டான சூழல்களில் நாம் பல்வேறு விண்ணப்பங்களை தேவனிடம் எழுப்புவதுண்டு. ஆனால் உடனேயே அவைகளுக்கான தீர்வு நமக்குக் கிடைத்திடாது. சில வேளைகளில் எவ்வளவு ஜெபித்தாலும் தேவன் நமது ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்காததுபோலவும் தோன்றும். அத்தகைய வேளைகளில் நாம் முறுமுறுக்காமல்  கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்க வேண்டியது அவசியம். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனமானது தாவீது தனது அனுபவத்தின்மூலம் கண்டுகொண்ட உண்மையாகும். அதனையே அவர் நமக்கு அறிவுரையாகக் கூறுகின்றார்.  கர்த்தரிடம் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்க அவர் கூறும் முக்கியமான அறிவுரை, "உன் வழியைக் கர்த்தருக்கு ஒப்புவித்து, அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிரு; அவரே காரியத்தை வாய்க்கப்பண்ணுவார்" என்பது.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது வழிகள் தேவனுக்கேற்ற வழிகளாக இருக்குமானால் தாவீது கூறுவதுபோல, அவர் நமது இருதயத்தின் வேண்டுதல்களை நிறைவேற்றுவார். எனவே நமது வழிகளை அவரிடம் ஒப்படைத்துவிடவேண்டியது அவசியம். அதாவது, தேவ வழிநடத்துதலுக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவேண்டும். பிரச்சனைகளுக்குத் தீர்வு காணவேண்டி நமது சுய அறிவு, பலம், நமது பதவி, பொருளாதாரம் இவைகளை நம்பாமல், "ஆண்டவரே, எனக்கு வாழ்வில் என்ன செய்வதென்று தெரியவில்லை; என்ன முடிவெடுப்பதென்று தெரியவில்லை.   நீரே எனது வாழ்வைப் பொறுப்பெடுத்துக்கொள்ளும்" என்று பிரச்சனையை அவரிடம் ஒப்படைத்துவிடவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

எனவேதான் தாவீது 55வது சங்கீதத்தில் கூறுகின்றார்,  "கர்த்தர்மேல் உன் பாரத்தை வைத்துவிடு, அவர் உன்னை ஆதரிப்பார்; நீதிமானை ஒருபோதும் தள்ளாடவொட்டார்." ( சங்கீதம் 55 : 22 ) ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இப்படி நம்மை அவரிடம் ஒப்படைத்து அவருக்கேற்ற நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ்வது உண்மையானால் அவர் நம்மை ஒருபோதும் தள்ளாடவிடமாட்டார். 

துன்பவேளைகளில் கர்த்தரிடம் நாம் எப்படி மனமகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கமுடியும்? அது வெறுமனே ஆலயங்களுக்குச் செல்வதாலோ, ஜெபக்கூட்டங்களில் கலந்து கொள்வதாலோ அல்ல, மாறாக நாம் அவரோடு தனிப்பட்ட உறவை வளர்த்துக்கொள்ளும்போது மட்டுமே முடியும். சிலவேளைகளில் பாஸ்டர்கள், கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்கள்  தற்கொலை செய்துகொள்ளும் செய்திகளை நாம் பத்திரிக்கைகளில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். இதற்குக் காரணம், அவர்கள் தேவனுக்கு ஊழியம் செய்கிறேன் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டாலும் அவர்களுக்கு தேவனோடு தனிப்பட்ட உறவு இல்லாததுதான். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே,  இறையியல் படித்துவிட்டதால் ஒருவர் தேவனை அறிந்தவருமல்ல, அவரோடு உறவோடு வாழ்பவருமல்ல. நம்மில் தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவர் செயல்படும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் மேலான ஆவிக்குரிய அனுபவங்களைப் பெறமுடியும். அப்போது மட்டுமே நாம் தேவனோடுள்ள உறவில் வளரமுடியும்.  அப்போதுதான் நமக்கு தேவன்மேல் அசைக்கமுடியாத விசுவாசம் ஏற்படும். விசுவாசம் ஏற்படும்போது மட்டுமே தேவன் நமது இருதயத்தின் வேண்டுதல்களை நிறைவேற்றுவார் எனும் உறுதியும் கர்த்தருக்குள் மனமகிழ்ச்சியும் ஏற்படும். 

எனவே, தேவனோடுள்ள தனிப்பட்ட உறவில் வளர வேண்டியது அவசியம். அதற்கான முயற்சிகளை நாம் எடுக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்படி அவரோடு ஐக்கியத்தில் வளர்ந்து,  நமது வழியைக் கர்த்தருக்கு ஒப்புவித்து, அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருப்போம்; அப்போது அவரே காரியத்தை வாய்க்கப்பண்ணுவார்.

Scripture Meditation - No: 1,508

AATHAVAN 💚 March 24, 2025. 💚 Monday

"Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." (Psalm 37:4, 5)

In this world, we have to go through various trials and challenges. There is no life without troubles. In such difficult situations, we often lift up many prayers to God. However, we do not always receive immediate answers. Sometimes, no matter how much we pray, it may seem as if God is not listening. During such moments, it is essential that we remain joyful in the Lord instead of murmuring.

Today's meditation verse is a truth that David realized through his experiences, which he shares with us as wise counsel. He gives us an important instruction on how to remain joyful in the Lord: "Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass."

Yes, beloved, if our ways are aligned with God's will, as David says, He will fulfil the desires of our hearts. Therefore, it is crucial that we surrender our ways to Him. This means that we must yield ourselves to divine guidance. Instead of relying on our wisdom, strength, position, or financial resources to solve our problems, we must surrender our burdens to God, saying: "Lord, I do not know what to do in my life; I do not know what decision to make. Please take responsibility for my life."

That is why David declares in Psalm 55:22: "Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22)

Yes, dear ones, if we surrender ourselves to Him and live a righteous life that pleases Him, He will never let us be shaken.

How can we remain joyful in the Lord during times of trouble? It is not merely by attending church or prayer meetings but by cultivating a personal relationship with Him. We sometimes read in the newspapers about pastors or Christian ministers who commit suicides. The reason for this is that, even though they claim to serve God, they lack a personal relationship with Him.

Yes, beloved, simply studying theology does not mean one truly knows God or has a close relationship with Him. Only when the Holy Spirit works within us can we experience deeper spiritual growth. Only then can we grow in our relationship with God. That is when we develop an unshakable faith in Him. And only when we have such faith can we be confident that He will fulfil the desires of our hearts and experience true joy in the Lord.

Therefore, it is essential to grow in our personal relationship with God. We must make an effort to do so. As we grow in communion with Him, let us commit our ways to the Lord and trust in Him, for He shall bring it to pass.

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,507   

'ஆதவன்' 💚மார்ச் 23, 2025. 💚ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை

"கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலே ஞானத்தின் ஆரம்பம்; மூடர் ஞானத்தையும் போதகத்தையும் அசட்டை பண்ணுகிறார்கள்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 1 : 7 )

கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல் என்று கூறுவது ஒரு மாணவன் தனது ஆசிரியரைப்பார்த்து பயப்படுவது அல்லது உயரதிகாரியைப்பார்த்து பணியாளர்கள் பயப்படுவது போன்ற பயத்தைக் குறிக்கவில்லை. அன்று இஸ்ரவேலர் இப்படித்தான் தேவனுக்குப் பயப்பட்டனர். தேவனை நேரடியாக பார்ப்பதற்கோ, அவரது குரலைக் கேட்பதற்கோ அவர்கள் தயாராக இல்லை. எனவேதான் அவர்கள், "மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீர் எங்களோடே பேசும், நாங்கள் கேட்போம்; தேவன் எங்களோடே பேசாதிருப்பாராக, பேசினால் நாங்கள் செத்துப்போவோம் என்றார்கள்." ( யாத்திராகமம் 20 : 19 )

ஆனால் இங்கு குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள பயமானது தேவனது நீதி, நேர்மையினைக்குறித்த பயம்; பாவத்தைக்குறித்த பயம்.  இந்த பயம் இருக்குமானால் மட்டுமே நாம் ஞானமுள்ளவர்களாக வாழ்வோம். தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவர் இந்த பயத்தை நமக்குள் தருகின்றார். இன்றைய புதிய ஏற்பாட்டுக்கால மக்களாகிய நமக்கு இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தால் கழுவப்படும் மீட்பு அனுபவம் இந்த பயத்தை நமக்குள் தருகின்றது. 

நாம் தேவ ஞானம் பெறும்போது, கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலே ஞானத்தின் ஆரம்பம் என்று கூறியுள்ளபடி நாம் அனைத்தையும் புதிய ஞானத்தோடு பார்க்கவும் புரிந்துகொள்ளவும் தேவன் கிருபை அருளுவார். வேதாகம வசனங்களும் நாம் ஞானம் பெறும்போது புதிய அர்த்தத்துடன் நமக்குப் புரியவரும். மட்டுமல்ல, ஒரே வசனமே பல்வேறு வேளைகளில் நமக்கு பல்வேறு சத்தியங்களை உணர்த்துவதை நாம் புரிந்துகொள்ள முடியும். தேவ ஞானம் பெற்ற ஒருவர் இறையியல் கல்லூரியில் படித்துதான் வேத அறிவு பெறவேண்டுமென்று தேவையில்லை. 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தொடர்ந்து கூறுகின்றது, "மூடர் ஞானத்தையும் போதகத்தையும் அசட்டை பண்ணுகிறார்கள்" என்று. உலகத்துக்கு ஞானிகளாகவும் அறிவாளிகளாகவும் தெரியும் பலர் தேவ காரியங்களை அறியாத மூடர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். நான் நாத்தீக சிந்தனையோடு வாழ்ந்தபோது நண்பர்களாக இருந்த பலர் இப்போதும் நண்பர்களாகத்தான் இருக்கின்றனர்.  சிலவேளைகளில் நான் அவர்களுக்கு பாவத்தையும் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவையும் குறித்துக் கூறும்போது இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல அவர்கள் அதனை அசட்டைபண்ணுவது மட்டுமல்ல, என்னையும் கேலி செய்வதுண்டு. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயம் மட்டுமே நம்மை தேவனை அறியவைப்பதுடன் பாவத்துக்கு விலக்கி நம்மை வாழவைக்கும். இல்லையானால் தேவனது  ஞானத்தையும் போதகத்தையும் அசட்டை பண்ணுகிறார்களாகவே இருப்போம்.  இன்று தங்களைக் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பலரும்கூட தேவ வார்த்தைகளை அசட்டைபண்ணுகிறவர்களாகவே இருக்கின்றனர். இதற்குக் காரணம் அவர்கள் இந்தப் போதனைகளை  தேவ வார்த்தைகளாக எண்ணாமல் தாங்கள் சாராத வேறு திருச்சபையின் போதனை என்று தவறாகப் புரிந்துகொண்டதுதான். 

தேவ ஞானத்தையும் அதுகுறித்த போதகத்தையும் அசட்டை பண்ணும் மூடர்களாக வாழாமல், கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படும் பயத்துடன் வாழ்வோம். அதுவே தேவ ஞானத்தோடு நம்மை வாழவைக்கும்; தேவ  வழிகளையும் அவரது சித்தத்தையும் நாம் அறியவைக்கும். அப்போது நாம் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் தேவனது குரலுக்குப் பயப்பட்டதுபோல பயப்படாமல் அவரது குரலைக் கேட்பதை இன்பமான இறை அனுபவமாக எண்ணுவோம்.

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,507

AATHAVAN 💚 March 23, 2025 - Sunday

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." (Proverbs 1:7)

The fear of the Lord mentioned here does not refer to the fear a student has for their teacher or an employee has for their superior. In the past, the Israelites feared God in such a manner. They were not prepared to see God directly or to hear His voice. That is why they said to Moses:

"And they said unto Moses, speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die." (Exodus 20:19)

However, the fear of the Lord mentioned here is the reverence for His righteousness and holiness—the fear of sin. Only when we have this fear can we live wisely. The Spirit of God grants us this fear. As people of the New Testament, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, this experience of salvation instils in us the true fear of the Lord.

When we receive divine wisdom, as today's verse states—"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge"—God grants us the grace to perceive and understand everything with new wisdom. The Scriptures will take on a new meaning as we grow in wisdom. Not only that, but the same verse can reveal different truths to us at different times. One does not need to study in a theological seminary to attain divine wisdom.

Today's meditation verse further states, "but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Many who are considered wise and knowledgeable in the world remain ignorant of God's ways. Some of my old friends, from the time when I lived with an atheistic mindset, are still my friends today. Sometimes, when I speak to them about sin and about the Lord Jesus Christ, they not only disregard it, as today's verse says, but even mock me.

Yes, dear ones, only the fear of the Lord enables us to know Him and keeps us away from sin. Otherwise, we would be among those who despise divine wisdom and instruction. Sadly, many who call themselves Christians today also disregard God's Word. The reason for this is that they do not see these teachings as God's Word but mistakenly perceive them as doctrines of another denomination.

Let us not live as fools who despise divine wisdom and its teaching. Instead, let us live with the fear of the Lord, for it will lead us to a life of divine wisdom, helping us understand God's ways and His will. Then, unlike the Israelites who feared God's voice, we will cherish hearing His voice as a joyful and divine experience.
