❤️Meditation verse - எபேசியர் 3: 12 / Ephesians 3:12

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,481    

'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 26, 2025. 💚புதன்கிழமை                                                   

"அவரைப் பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தால் அவருக்குள் நமக்குத் தைரியமும் திடநம்பிக்கையோடே தேவனிடத்தில் சேரும் சிலாக்கியமும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது." ( எபேசியர் 3: 12)

அன்பானவர்களே, ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தால் நமக்கு மரணத்துக்குப் பின் உள்ள வாழ்வைக்குறித்து தைரியம் கிடைக்கின்றது; அது குறித்த நிச்சயம் உள்ளதால் நம்பிக்கை ஏற்படுகின்றது;. தேவனிடம் சேரும் வாய்ப்பும் உள்ளது. இந்தத் தியான வசனத்துக்கு விளக்கமெழுதுமுன் நான் வலைத்தளத்தில் நாத்தீகவாதிகளின்  இறுதி காலத்தைக்குறித்துத் தேடிப்பார்த்தேன். இரண்டு முக்கிய நாத்தீகவாதிகளின் இறுதி நிலை குறித்து அங்கு கூறப்பட்ட செய்தி ஆச்சரியப்படவைத்தது; மட்டுமல்ல நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறியவை அனைத்தும் மெய்யான சத்தியம் என்பதனை உணரச்செய்தன. அவைகளைக் கீழே தருகின்றேன்:- 

ஜோசப் ஸ்டாலின் – (சோவியத் புரட்சியாளர் மற்றும் அரசியல்வாதி). அவரது மரணத்துக்குப்பின் அவர் மகள் ஸ்வெட்லானா நியூஸ்வீக் பத்திரிகை நடத்திய பேட்டியில் கூறினார்,   "என் தந்தை கடினமான மற்றும் பயங்கரமான மரணத்தை அடைந்தார்... கடவுள் நீதிமான்களுக்கு மட்டுமே எளிதான மரணத்தை அளிக்கிறார். கடைசி தருணத்தில், அவர் திடீரென கண்களைத் திறந்து, அறையில் உள்ள அனைவரையும் பார்த்தார். அது ஒரு பயங்கரமான பார்வையாக இருந்தது, பைத்தியக்காரத்தனமான அல்லது கோபமான பார்வை. அவரது இடது கை மேலே உயர்த்தப்பட்டது, அது மேலே ஏதோ ஒன்றை சுட்டிக்காட்டுவதாகவும், அங்கிருந்த அனைவரையும் சபிப்பதாகவும் இருந்தது. அந்த சைகை முழுவதும் அச்சுறுத்தலாக இருந்தது, அவரது முகம் அகோரமாக காட்சியளித்தது ... மறுநாள் காலையில் அவர் இறந்துவிட்டார்."

வால்டேர் – பிரபலமான கிறிஸ்துவ எதிர்ப்பு நாத்திகவாதியான அவர் தனது இறுதி நாளில் மருத்துவரான டாக்டர் ஃபோச்சினிடம் கூறினார்: "...நான் கடவுளாலும் மனிதர்களாலும் கைவிடப்பட்டுள்ளேன். நீங்கள் எனக்கு ஆறு மாதங்கள் வாழ்நாள் கூட்டித் தந்தால் நான் மாறின ஒரு  மனிதனாக வாழ்வேன், நான் எனது சொத்தில் பாதியை உங்களுக்கு தருகிறேன்." இது சாத்தியமில்லை என்று மருத்துவர் கூறியபோது அவர் சொன்னார், "அப்படியானால் நான் இறந்து நரகத்திற்குச் செல்வேன்! என்று கூறி கண்ணீர் விட்டார்." அவரது நர்ஸ் கூறினார்: "ஐரோப்பாவின் மொத்த பணத்தை எனக்குத் தந்தாலும் இன்னொரு  நாத்திகவாதியின் மரணத்தை நான் பார்க்க விரும்பவில்லை! இரவு முழுவதும் நான் மன்னிப்புக்காக அழுதேன்"

இதற்கு மாறாக, விசுவாச கிறிஸ்தவர்களின் கடைசி காலங்கள் அமைதியாக மகிழ்ச்சியாக அமைந்துள்ளதையும் பார்க்க முடிகின்றது. அவற்றில் இரண்டு சாட்சிகள்;- 

"ஒரு மருத்துவமனை செவிலியராக பணியாற்றும்  நான் பலருடைய  கடைசி வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்கும் வாய்ப்பினைப் பெற்றுள்ளேன்.  அவற்றில் மிக அழகான ஒன்று, நான் ஒருமுறை ஒரு தேவ பக்தியுள்ள நோயாளி பெண்ணின் படுக்கையறைக்குள் நுழைந்து, அவரது படுக்கையின் அருகில் உள்ள நாற்காலியில் அமர்ந்தபோது அவள் சொன்னாள்: 'ஓ, தயவுசெய்து அங்கே அமராதீர்கள் — என்னை அழைத்துச் செல்ல தேவன் அனுப்பியுள்ள எனது தேவதூதன் அங்கே அமர்ந்திருக்கிறார்!"

ஒரு நண்பரின் மைத்துனர் புற்றுநோயால் இறக்கும் தருணத்தில், மிகவும் உற்சாகமாகக்  கூவினார், "அவர் (இயேசு) இங்கே இருக்கிறார்! அவர் இங்கே இருக்கிறார்! அவர் நம்மைச் சுற்றி இருக்கிறார்" என்று  பின்னர் அவர் தலையை தலையணையில் வைத்து, தூங்கச் சென்று, மீண்டும் எழுந்திருக்கவில்லை.

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து லாசரும் செல்வந்தனும் உவமையில் இதனைத்தான்  தெளிவுபடுத்தியுள்ளார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தால் அவருக்குள் நமக்குத் தைரியமும் திடநம்பிக்கையோடே தேவனிடத்தில் சேரும் சிலாக்கியமும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது. அந்தத் திட நம்பிக்கையே நமக்கு மீட்பளிக்கின்றதாகவும் இருக்கின்றது.

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,481

AATHAVAN 💚 February 26, 2025 💚 Wednesday

"In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of Him." (Ephesians 3:12, KJV)

Dear friends, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, we gain courage regarding the life that awaits us after death; the certainty of this gives us hope, and the opportunity to be with God. Before writing an explanation for this meditation verse, I searched the internet for information about the final days of atheists. The information provided there about the final states of two prominent atheists was astonishing; not only that, but it also made me realize that everything spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ is the true truth. I present them below: -

Joseph Stalin – (Soviet revolutionary and politician). After his death, his daughter Svetlana, in an interview with Newsweek magazine, said: 

"My father died a hard and terrible death... God grants an easy death only to the righteous. At the last moment, he suddenly opened his eyes and looked at everyone in the room. It was a horrifying look, either mad or angry. His left hand was raised, as if pointing to something above and cursing everyone present. The gesture was full of threat, and his face looked grotesque... The next morning, he was dead."

Voltaire – The famous anti-Christian atheist, in his final days, told his doctor, Dr. Fochin: "...I am abandoned by God and men. If you give me six more months to live, I will live as a changed man, and I will give you half of my wealth." When the doctor said it was impossible, Voltaire replied, "Then I will die and go to hell!" and wept. His nurse later said: "I wouldn’t want to witness the death of another atheist even if I were offered all the wealth of Europe! I wept all night, praying for forgiveness."

In contrast, the final moments of faithful Christians are often peaceful and joyful. Here are two testimonies:

1. A hospital nurse shared: "As a nurse, I have heard the last words of many. One of the most beautiful was from a devout Christian woman. When I entered her room and sat on a chair near her bed, she said, 'Oh, please don’t sit there—that’s where the angel God sent to take me home is sitting!"
2. A friend’s brother-in-law, dying of cancer, exclaimed with great excitement:
   "He (Jesus) is here! He is here! He is all around us!" Then he laid his head on the pillow, fell asleep, and did not wake again.

Our Lord Jesus Christ illustrated this truth in the parable of Lazarus and the rich man (Luke 16:19-31). Yes, beloved, through faith in Christ, we have boldness, confidence, and the privilege of access to God. This unwavering hope is what grants us salvation.

❤️Meditation verse - எபிரெயர் 8: 10 / Hebrews 8:10

'ஆதவன்' பிப்ருவரி 25, 2025. 💚செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"அந்த நாட்களுக்குப்பின்பு நான் இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தாரோடே பண்ணும் உடன்படிக்கையாவது: என்னுடைய பிரமாணங்களை அவர்களுடைய மனதிலே வைத்து, அவர்களுடைய இருதயங்களில் அவைகளை எழுதுவேன்; நான் அவர்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன், அவர்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பார்கள்." ( எபிரெயர் 8: 10) & ( எரேமியா 31: 33)

இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் தனக்கு உகந்த வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக தேவன் மோசேமூலம் பல்வேறு கட்டளைகளைக் கொடுத்திருந்தார். ஆனால் அந்த மக்கள் கட்டளையைக் கட்டளையாகப் பார்த்தார்களேத் தவிர மனித நேயத்தையும் மனிதாபிமானத்தையும் இழந்தவர்களாக இருந்தனர். உதாரணமாக ஓய்வுநாளுக்குக் கொடுத்த முக்கியத்துவத்தை நோயுற்றிருந்த மக்களிடம் காண்பிக்கவில்லை. 

ஓய்வுநாள் குறித்தக் கட்டளையை யூதர்கள் தவறுதலாகவே புரிந்து மனிதாபமற்ற முறையில் கடைபிடித்து வந்தனர். எனவே  இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இதனை "மனுஷன் ஓய்வுநாளுக்காக உண்டாக்கப்படவில்லை, ஓய்வுநாள் மனுஷனுக்காக உண்டாக்கப்பட்டது" ( மாற்கு 2: 27) என்று தெளிவுபடுத்தினார். சுருங்கக் கூறினால் அவர்கள் தேவனது பல  கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியவில்லை. 

எனவே தேவன் மக்களோடு புதிய உடன்படிக்கை செய்யத் திட்டமிட்டார். இதனை எரேமியா தீர்க்கதரிசிமூலம் கூறினார், "அந்த நாட்களுக்குப்பின்பு நான் இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தாரோடே பண்ணும் உடன்படிக்கையாவது: என்னுடைய பிரமாணங்களை அவர்களுடைய மனதிலே வைத்து, அவர்களுடைய இருதயங்களில் அவைகளை எழுதுவேன்; நான் அவர்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன், அவர்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பார்கள்." ( எபிரெயர் 8: 10) & ( எரேமியா 31: 33)

தான் உண்டாக்கும் புதிய உடன்படிக்கை எத்தகையதாக இருக்கும் என்பதையும் தேவன் கூறினார். அதாவது தான் பண்ணிய பழைய உடன்படிக்கையினைப்போல அல்லாமல் புதிய உடன்படிக்கை அவர்கள் கடைபிடிக்கும் வகையில் இருக்கும். அவர்களைப் புறக்கணித்ததுபோல புதிய உடன்படிக்கை மக்களை நான் புறக்கணிப்பதில்லை என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

இதனை நாம் "அவர்களுடைய பிதாக்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து கொண்டுவரும்படிக்கு நான் அவர்களுடைய கையைப் பிடித்த நாளிலே அவர்களோடு பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையைப்போல இது இருப்பதில்லை; அந்த உடன்படிக்கையிலே அவர்கள் நிலைநிற்கவில்லையே, நானும் அவர்களைப் புறக்கணித்தேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( எபிரெயர் 8: 9) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவினால் கிருபையினாலும்  சத்தியத்தினாலும் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட புதிய உடன்படிக்கை கற்களில் எழுதப்படாமல் நமது இருதயங்களில் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது. மட்டுமல்ல, அது ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆவியினால் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கொரிந்தியருக்கு எழுதுகின்றார்:-  "ஏனெனில் நீங்கள் எங்கள் ஊழியத்தினால் உண்டாகிய கிறிஸ்துவின் நிருபமாயிருக்கிறீர்களென்று வெளியரங்கமாயிருக்கிறது; அது மையினாலல்ல, ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆவியினாலும்; கற்பலகைகளிலல்ல, இருதயங்களாகிய சதையான பலகைகளிலேயும் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது." (2 கொரிந்தியர் 3: 3)

கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலமாய் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட இந்தப் புதிய உடன்படிக்கை நம்மை ஆவியில் உயிர்ப்பிக்கின்றதாக இருக்கின்றது. பழைய உடன்படிக்கைக் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளாதவன் கல்லெறிந்து கொல்லப்படுவதுபோல புதிய உடன்படிக்கையை மீறும்  மக்கள் கொல்லப்படுவதில்லை. காரணம், "...........அந்த உடன்படிக்கை எழுத்திற்குரியதாயிராமல், ஆவிக்குரியதாயிருக்கிறது; எழுத்து கொல்லுகிறது, ஆவியோ உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறது." (2 கொரிந்தியர் 3: 6) ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் பெற்ற பெரியபேறு இதுதான். 

இந்த உலகத்தில் புதிய உடன்படிக்கையினை மீறுபவர்கள் கல்லெறிந்து கொல்லப்படுவதில்லை என்றாலும் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின்  இரத்தத்தால் உண்டான புதிய  உடன்படிக்கையின் மக்களாகியநாம் அவரது உடன்படிக்கையினை மீறி நடப்போமானால் நமக்கு  மிகப்பெரிய ஆக்கினை உண்டு என்று வேதம் நம்மை எச்சரிக்கின்றது. 

ஆம், "தேவனுடைய குமாரனைக் காலின் கீழ் மிதித்து, தன்னைப் பரிசுத்தஞ்செய்த உடன்படிக்கையின் இரத்தத்தை அசுத்தமென்றெண்ணி, கிருபையின் ஆவியை நிந்திக்கிறவன் எவ்வளவு கொடிதான ஆக்கினைக்குப் பாத்திரவானாயிருப்பான் என்பதை யோசித்துப்பாருங்கள்." ( எபிரெயர் 10: 29) எனவே, கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின் இரத்தத்தால் உண்டான புதிய உடன்படிக்கையை மீறிடாமல் அவருக்கேற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம்.

AATHAVAN 💚 February 25, 2025 💚 Tuesday

"After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people." (Hebrews 8:10) & (Jeremiah 31:33)

God gave various commandments through Moses so that the people of Israel might live a life pleasing to Him. However, the people saw the commandments merely as rules and lost sight of compassion and humanity. For example, they failed to show the importance of the Sabbath to those who were sick.

The Jews misunderstood the commandment regarding the Sabbath and observed it in a heartless manner. Therefore, Jesus Christ clarified, "The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath" (Mark 2:27). In short, they did not fully obey God's many commandments.

Thus, God planned to establish a new covenant with His people. This was foretold through the prophet Jeremiah: "After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people." (Hebrews 8:10) & (Jeremiah 31:33).

God also explained how this new covenant would differ from the old. Unlike the old covenant, the new covenant would be one that the people could truly follow. God declared that He would not reject His people as they had rejected His ways.

We read this in Scripture: "Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord." (Hebrews 8:9).

Yes, dear friends, through our Lord Jesus Christ, the new covenant established by grace and truth is not written on stone tablets but on our hearts. Moreover, it is written by the Spirit of the living God. As the apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians: "Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart." (2 Corinthians 3:3).

This new covenant, given through Christ, brings us spiritual life. Unlike the old covenant, where those who disobeyed, the commandments were stoned to death, those who violate the new covenant are not condemned to physical death. For "...the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life." (2 Corinthians 3:6). Yes, dear friends, this is the great blessing we have received.

Although those who break the new covenant in this world are not stoned to death, the Scripture warns us that if we, as people of the new covenant established by the blood of Jesus Christ, live in disobedience, we will face severe judgment.

Indeed, "Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden underfoot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?" (Hebrews 10:29). Therefore, let us surrender ourselves to live a life worthy of Him, without violating the new covenant established by the blood of Christ Jesus.

❤️Meditation verse - கலாத்தியர் 6: 7 / Galatians 6:7

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,479

'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 24, 2025. 💚திங்கள்கிழமை

"மோசம்போகாதிருங்கள், தேவன் தம்மைப் பரியாசம்பண்ணவொட்டார்; மனுஷன் எதை விதைக்கிறானோ அதையே அறுப்பான்." ( கலாத்தியர் 6: 7)

நமது வாழ்வில் ஏற்படும் தீமையான காரியங்கள், நன்மையான காரியங்கள் இவைகள் அனைத்தும் நமது செயல்களின் பின்விளைவுகளே.  எனவே, கடவுள் நமது வாழ்வில் செய்யும் செயல்களைக்குறித்து நாம் அவரைக் கேலிசெய்ய முடியாது; அல்லது குற்றம்சாட்ட முடியாது. இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்குக் கூறுகின்றது. 

நாம் செய்யும் அனைத்துக் காரியங்களுக்கும் அதற்கேற்ற பிரதிபலன் உண்டு. நெற்பயிரை பயிர் செய்துவிட்டு கோதுமையை அறுவடைசெய்ய முடியாது. துன்மார்க்கத்தில் வாழ்ந்துவிட்டு வாழ்வில் நன்மையை நாம் எதிர்பார்க்கமுடியாது. 

இன்றைய வசனத்தில் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் விதைத்தல், அறுத்தல் என்பனவற்றின் மூலம் நன்மை செய்வதையும் அதனால் அடையும் பயனையும்  குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். நன்மைகள் செய்யும்போது அதற்கேற்ற நன்மைகள் நமக்குத் பிரதிபலனாகக் கிடைக்கும் என்பதே அவர் கூறவரும் முக்கிய கருத்து. இதனையே அவர் தொடர்ந்து அவரும் வசனத்தில்,  "நன்மைசெய்கிறதில் சோர்ந்துபோகாமல் இருப்போமாக; நாம் தளர்ந்துபோகாதிருந்தால் ஏற்றகாலத்தில் அறுப்போம்." ( கலாத்தியர் 6: 9) என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். 

இதுபோலவேதான் மனிதர்களது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கையும் இருக்கின்றது. நாம் முழுவதும் உலக ஆசைகளை மனதில் சுமந்துகொண்டு அதற்காக உழைத்துக்கொண்டு ஆவிக்குரிய பிரதிபலன்களை தேவனிடம்  எதிர்பார்க்கமுடியாது. ஆம்,  "தன் மாம்சத்திற்கென்று விதைக்கிறவன் மாம்சத்தினால் அழிவை அறுப்பான்; ஆவிக்கென்று விதைக்கிறவன் ஆவியினாலே நித்தியஜீவனை அறுப்பான்." ( கலாத்தியர் 6: 8)

ஆனால் நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களுக்கு முன்னுரிமை கொடுத்துச் செயல்படுவோமானால் மற்ற ஆசீர்வாதங்களைத் தேவன் நமது வாழ்வில் கூட்டித் தருவார். 

மட்டுமல்ல, இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் ஒரு ஏக்கர் நிலத்தில் பயிர் செய்வோமானால் அதற்கேற்ற விளைச்சல்தான் நமக்குக் கிடைக்குமேத்தவிர  ஐந்து ஏக்கர் கொடுக்கும் விளைச்சலை எதிர்பார்க்க முடியாது. இதுபோலவே தேவன் ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்களில் பிரதிபலனைக் கொடுக்கின்றார். இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "பின்னும் நான் சொல்லுகிறதென்னவெனில், சிறுக விதைக்கிறவன் சிறுக அறுப்பான், பெருக விதைக்கிறவன் பெருக அறுப்பான்." (2 கொரிந்தியர் 9: 6) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல, தேவன் மனிதர்கள் தன்னைக் கேலிசெய்யும் விதத்தில் அற்பனான காரியங்களை ஒருபோதும் செய்யமாட்டார். மனிதர்களைப்போல அவர் அற்பக்  குணமுள்ளவரல்ல. எனவே, தேவன்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாக இருந்து நல்ல செயல்களைச் செய்ய முயலுவோம். நமது வாழ்வில் எதனைச் செய்கின்றோமோ அதற்கேற்ற  பிரதிபலனை நாம் தேவனிடமிருந்து நிச்சயம் பெறுவோம்.

Scripture Meditation - No.: 1,479

AATHAVAN 💚 February 24, 2025 💚 Monday

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." (Galatians 6:7, KJV)

The good and evil that occur in our lives are the consequences of our actions. Therefore, we cannot mock God or blame Him for the outcomes of our deeds. This is the message of today’s meditation verse.

Every action we take has a corresponding result. We cannot sow rice and expect to harvest wheat. Similarly, we cannot live in wickedness and expect goodness in return.

In today’s verse, the Apostle Paul uses the analogy of sowing and reaping to emphasize the importance of doing good and the rewards that follow. He highlights that when we do good, we will reap good in return. As he continues in the verse, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season, we shall reap, if we faint not." (Galatians 6:9, KJV)

This principle also applies to our spiritual lives. We cannot carry worldly desires in our hearts, labour for them, and still expect spiritual rewards from God. Indeed, "For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting." (Galatians 6:8, KJV)

However, if we prioritize spiritual matters and act accordingly, God will add other blessings to our lives.

Moreover, just as we cannot expect a five-acre harvest from cultivating one acre of land, God rewards us in spiritual matters according to our efforts. The Apostle Paul further explains this principle, saying, "But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully." (2 Corinthians 9:6, KJV)

As today’s meditation verse reminds us, God will never act in a way that allows humans to mock Him. He is not petty like humans. Therefore, let us remain faithful to God, strive to do good, and trust that we will surely receive the appropriate reward from Him for what we do in our lives.

❤️Meditation verse - உன்னதப்பாட்டு 1: 3 / Song of Solomon 1:3

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,478

'ஆதவன்' பிப்ருவரி 23, 2025. 💚ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை

"உமது பரிமளத்தைலங்கள் இன்பமான வாசனையுள்ளவைகள்; உமது நாமம் ஊற்றுண்ட பரிமளத்தைலமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆகையால் கன்னியர்கள் உம்மை நேசிக்கிறார்கள்." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 1: 3)

வேதாகமத்திலுள்ள உன்னதப்பாட்டு எனும் புத்தகம் மற்ற அனைத்து வேத புத்தகங்களையும்விட வித்தியாசமானது.   வெறுமனே பார்க்கும்போது இவை காதல் கவிதைகள் போலவே இருக்கும். ஆம், இவை காதல் கவிதைகள்தான்; ஆனால் இந்தக் காதல் பாடல்கள் கிறிஸ்து எனும் மணவாளனுக்கும் விசுவாசிகளாகிய நமக்கும் இடையேயுள்ள உறவினைக்  குறிப்பாய் உணர்த்துகின்றன. அதாவது, எப்படி ஒரு ஆணும் பெண்ணும் இயற்கையான தூய காதல் உணர்வால் வாழ்வார்களோ அதுபோல நாம் கிறிஸ்துவுடன் வாழ இந்தப்பாடல்கள் நமக்குக் குறிப்பால் உணர்த்துகின்றன. 

கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பை உணர்ந்துகொண்ட கன்னிகைகளான அவரது விசுவாசிகள்  அவரை நேசிக்கிறார்கள். இதனையே,  "உமது நாமம் ஊற்றுண்ட பரிமளதைலமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆகையால் கன்னியர்கள் உம்மை நேசிக்கிறார்கள்." என்று இந்த தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலும்  இதனையே, "நான் உங்களைக் கற்புள்ள கன்னிகையாகக் கிறிஸ்து என்னும் ஒரே புருஷனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்க நியமித்தபடியால், உங்களுக்காக தேவவைராக்கியமான வைராக்கியங்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்." (2 கொரிந்தியர் 11: 2) என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். கிறிஸ்து என்னும் ஒரே புருஷனுக்கு என அவர் கூறுவது கவனிக்கத்தக்கது. கற்புள்ள கன்னிப்பெண் ஒரே ஒரு ஆணிடம் மட்டுமே அன்பாய் இருப்பாள். அதுபோல நாமும் கிறிஸ்து எனும் ஒரே புருஷனுக்கு நம்பிக்கையுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பை உணர்ந்த பக்தன் கூறுகின்றான், "உமது பரிமளதைலங்கள் இன்பமான வாசனையுள்ளவைகள்; உமது நாமம் ஊற்றுண்ட பரிமளத்தைலமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆகையால் கன்னியர்கள் உம்மை நேசிக்கிறார்கள்." என்று. இதனையே உத்தமமாய் தேவனைப் பின்பற்றுபவர்கள் பெறும் கிறிஸ்துவை அறியும் அறிவுக்கு ஒப்பிடுகின்றார் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல். "கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் எப்பொழுதும் எங்களை வெற்றிசிறக்கப்பண்ணி, எல்லா இடங்களிலேயும் எங்களைக் கொண்டு அவரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிற தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்." (2 கொரிந்தியர் 2: 14) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து அடுத்த வசனத்தில் நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம், "என்னை இழுத்துக்கொள்ளும், உமக்குப் பின்னே ஓடிவருவோம்; ராஜா என்னைத் தமது அறைகளில் அழைத்துக்கொண்டு வந்தார்; நாங்கள் உமக்குள் களிகூர்ந்து மகிழுவோம்; திராட்சரசத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் உமது நேசத்தை நினைப்போம்; உத்தமர்கள் உம்மை நேசிக்கிறார்கள்." ( உன்னதப்பாட்டு 1: 4)

மணவாளனுக்குக் காத்திருந்த பத்துக் கன்னியர் உவமையில் நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இதனையே கூறினார்.  மணவாளனுக்குக் காத்திருந்தவர்களில் ஐந்துபேர் புத்தியில்லாதவர்கள்; அதாவது ஆயத்தமாய் இல்லாதவர்கள்.  புத்தியில்லாத அந்தக் கன்னியர்கள் தங்கள் விளக்குகளுக்கு  எண்ணெய் வங்கச் செல்லும்போது மணவாளன் வந்துவிட்டார். எனவே அவர்களால் மணவாளனோடு அறையினுள் செல்ல முடியவில்லை. 

"அப்படியே அவர்கள் வாங்கப்போனபோது மணவாளன் வந்துவிட்டார்; ஆயத்தமாயிருந்தவர்கள் அவரோடேகூடக் கலியாணவீட்டுக்குள் பிரவேசித்தார்கள்; கதவும் அடைக்கப்பட்டது. பின்பு, மற்றக் கன்னிகைகளும் வந்து: ஆண்டவரே, ஆண்டவரே, எங்களுக்குத் திறக்கவேண்டும் என்றார்கள். அதற்கு அவர்: உங்களை அறியேன் என்று, மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்." ( மத்தேயு 25: 10 - 12) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் புத்தியுள்ள கன்னியர்களைப்போல கிறிஸ்துவாகிய அவர் ஒருவரையே வாழ்வில் தேடுபவர்களாகவும், அவரது பரிமளதைலங்களின்  இன்பமான வாசனையினை நுகர்பவர்களாகவும், அவருக்காக காத்திருப்பவர்களாகவும் அவரைச் சந்திக்க எப்போதும் ஆயத்தமாய் இருப்பவர்களாகவும் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  அப்படியானால் மட்டுமே நித்தியத்தில் மணவாளனாகிய  அவரோடுகூட மகிழ்ந்திருக்க முடியும்.

AATHAVAN 💚 February 23, 2025 💚 Sunday

"Thy oils have a pleasing fragrance; thy name is as oil poured forth; therefore, do the virgins love thee." (Song of Solomon 1:3)

The Book of Song of Solomon in the Bible is unique compared to all other books of Scripture. At first glance, it may appear to be a collection of love poems. Indeed, these are love poems, but they symbolically represent the relationship between Christ, the Bridegroom, and us, His faithful believers. Just as a man and woman live together in pure, natural love, these songs guide us to live in such a relationship with Christ.

The virgins, representing Christ’s faithful believers, love Him because of His fragrant anointing. As the meditation verse says, "Thy name is as oil poured forth; therefore, do the virgins love thee."

The Apostle Paul also speaks of this, saying, "For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ." (2 Corinthians 11:2). It is noteworthy that he refers to Christ as the one husband. Just as a chaste virgin remains devoted to one man, so too must we remain faithful to Christ, our one Bridegroom.

In today’s meditation verse, the devoted believer, experiencing Christ’s love, declares, "Thy oils have a pleasing fragrance; thy name is as oil poured forth; therefore, do the virgins love thee." The Apostle Paul beautifully compares this to the knowledge of Christ that believers receive, saying, "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place." (2 Corinthians 2:14).

In the following verse after today’s meditation verse we read: "Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee." (Song of Solomon 1:4).

This is echoed in the Parable of the Ten Virgins, where our Lord Jesus Christ speaks of those who wait for the bridegroom. Among the ten virgins, five were foolish and unprepared. While they went to buy oil, the bridegroom arrived, and they were unable to enter the wedding chamber with Him.

"And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not." (Matthew 25:10-12).

Therefore, beloved, we must live as wise virgins, seeking Christ alone in our lives, savouring the pleasing fragrance of His anointing, waiting for Him, and always being prepared to meet Him. Only then can we rejoice eternally with the Bridegroom in His presence.

❤️Meditation verse - மத்தேயு 12: 6 / Matthew 12:6

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,477

'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 22, 2025. 💚சனிக்கிழமை

"தேவாலயத்திலும் பெரியவர் இங்கே இருக்கிறார் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்." ( மத்தேயு 12: 6)

இந்த உலகத்தில் மனிதர்களால் கட்டப்பட்ட வானுயர்ந்த தேவாலயங்கள் பல உண்டு. இந்த ஆலயங்களுக்கு மனிதர்கள் முன்னுரிமைகொடுத்து காணிக்கைகள் கொடுத்தும் திருயாத்திரைகள் சென்றும் ஆராதித்து வருகின்றனர்.  ஆனால் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து வெளிப்படையாக யூதர்களிடம் தன்னைப்பற்றி தேவாலயத்திலும் பெரியவர் என்று குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். இது தேவ தூஷணமாக யூதர்களுக்குத் தோன்றியது. 

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தேவாலயத்திலும் பெரியவர் என்று தன்னைக் கூறும்போது தானே தேவன் என்று கூறுகின்றார்.   மேலும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தன்னைக் குறித்துத்  தெளிவாகக்  கூறினார்:-  "சாலமோனிலும் பெரியவர்" (மத்தேயு 12:42), "யோனாவிலும் பெரியவர்" (மத்தேயு 12:49) "ஆபிரகாம் உண்டாகிறதற்கு முன்னமே இருக்கிறேன்" (யோவான் 8:58) என்று. மேலும் எபிரெயர் நிருபத்தில், "மோசேயைப் பார்க்கிலும் இவர் அதிக மகிமைக்குப் பாத்திரராயிருக்கிறார்." (எபிரெயர் 3:3) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இத்தகைய வல்லமையும் மகத்துவமும் உள்ள கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து அற்பமான நம்மைப்போன்ற மனிதர்களுக்குள் வந்து தங்கிட விரும்புகின்றார். அப்படி அவர் நமக்குள் வந்து தங்கும்போது நாமே அவரது ஆலயமாக மாறுகின்றோம். தேவன் தங்கும் இடம்தான் ஆலயம். "ஒருவன் என்னில் அன்பாயிருந்தால் அவன் என் வசனத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவான், அவனில் என் பிதா அன்பாயிருப்பார்; நாங்கள் அவனிடத்தில் வந்து அவனோடே வாசம்பண்ணுவோம்" ( யோவான் 14: 23) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறவில்லையா?

எனவே நாம் நமது உடலைப்  பரிசுத்தமாய் காத்துக்கொண்டு அவருக்கு ஆராதனை செய்யவேண்டும்.  தேவாலயத்திலும் பெரியவர் நமக்குள் இருப்பதால் நாம் அவருக்கேற்ற புத்தியுள்ள ஆராதனை செய்பவர்களாக வாழவேண்டும். அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் இதனால்தான், "அப்படியிருக்க, சகோதரரே, நீங்கள் உங்கள் சரீரங்களைப் பரிசுத்தமும் தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமுமான ஜீவபலியாக ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவேண்டுமென்று, தேவனுடைய இரக்கங்களை முன்னிட்டு உங்களை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்; இதுவே நீங்கள் செய்யத்தக்க புத்தியுள்ளஆராதனை." ( ரோமர் 12: 1) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

ஆனால், தேவாலயத்திலும் பெரியவர் நமக்குள் இருக்கின்றார் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டு நாம் ஆலயங்களுக்குச் செல்லாமல் இருப்பது அறிவீனம். அது வீண் பெருமையையே நமக்குள் விதைக்கும். இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தன்னைத்  தேவாலயத்திலும் பெரியவர் என்று கூறினாலும் அவரும் ஆலயத்துக்குச் சென்றுகொண்டுதான் இருந்தார். 

ஆலயத்தில் நாம் விசுவாசிகளோடு ஒரு ஐக்கியத்தை ஏற்படுத்துகின்றோம். கூடி  ஜெபிக்கின்றோம், சேர்ந்து ஆராதிக்கின்றோம், நமது ஒற்றுமையை வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றோம். மட்டுமல்ல, நமது சாட்சியுள்ள செயல்பாடுகள் ஆலயத்துக்குவரும் மற்றவர்களை கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்புக்குநேராக வழிநடத்திட வாய்ப்பு உருவாகும். 

அன்பானவர்களே, தேவாலயத்திலும் பெரியவரான கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் வந்து தங்கிட இடம்கொடுக்கவேண்டும்; அத்துடன் நமக்குள் வந்திருக்கும் அவரை நமது சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கையால் மற்றவர்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கவேண்டும். இப்படி நாம் வாழும்போது நாம் மெய்யான ஆலயமாக வாழ்வது மட்டுமல்ல, தேவாலயத்திலும் பெரியவர் தொடர்ந்து நமக்குள் இருந்து செயல்படுவார்.

Scripture Meditation - No: 1,477 

AATHAVAN 💚 February 22, 2025. 💚 Saturday 

"But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple." (Matthew 12:6, KJV)

There are many towering temples in this world, built by human hands. People give great importance to these temples, offering sacrifices, making pilgrimages, and worshiping them with devotion. However, Jesus Christ openly declared to the Jews that He is greater than the temple. To the Jews, this seemed like blasphemy.

When Jesus Christ claimed that He was greater than the temple, He was declaring that He Himself is God. Furthermore, He clearly stated: "Behold, a greater than Solomon is here." (Matthew 12:42), "Behold, a greater than Jonas is here." (Matthew 12:41), and "Before Abraham was, I am." (John 8:58). Additionally, in the Epistle to the Hebrews, we read: "For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses." (Hebrews 3:3).

Dearly beloved, the Lord Jesus Christ, who possesses such power and greatness, desires to dwell among us, mere human beings. When He comes and abides in us, we ourselves become His temple. The place where God dwells is the temple. Did not Jesus Christ say, "If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." (John 14:23)?

Therefore, we must keep our bodies holy and worship Him. Since the One who is greater than the temple dwells within us, we should live as those who offer reasonable worship to Him. This is why the Apostle Paul urges, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." (Romans 12:1).

However, claiming that Christ, who is greater than the temple, dwells in us and then neglecting to go to church is unwise. Such an attitude would only lead to arrogance. Even though Jesus declared that He was greater than the temple, He Himself continued to go to the synagogue and the temple.

In the church, we establish fellowship with other believers. We come together to pray, worship as one body, and express our unity. Moreover, our faithful and exemplary actions in the church can lead others to the love of Christ.

Dearly beloved, we must give room for Christ, who is greater than the temple, to dwell in us. At the same time, we must make Him known to others through our witness and godly living. When we live in this manner, we not only become true temples of God, but the One greater than the temple will continue to dwell in us and work through us.

❤️Meditation verse - 3 யோவான் 1 : 2 / 3 John 1:2

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,476

'ஆதவன்' பிப்ருவரி 21, 2025. 💚வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"பிரியமானவனே, உன் ஆத்துமா வாழ்கிறதுபோல நீ எல்லாவற்றிலும் வாழ்ந்து சுகமாயிருக்கும்படி வேண்டுகிறேன்." (3 யோவான்  1 : 2)

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் பொதுவாக திருமண வீடுகளில் மணமக்களை வாழ்த்த அதிக அளவில் பயன்படுத்தப்படும் வேத வசனமாகும். "நீ எல்லாவற்றிலும் வாழ்ந்து சுகமாயிருக்கும்படி வேண்டுகிறேன்" எனும் வார்த்தைகள் இடம்பெறுவதால் இது புதுமணமக்களை வாழ்த்தப்  பயன்படும் வசனமாக இருக்கின்றது. ஆனால், இந்த வசனம் நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரும் வாழ்வில் உணர்ந்து அனுபவிக்கவேண்டிய வசனமாகும். 

இந்த வசனம் வெறுமனே ஒருவரை வாழ்த்தாமல் ஒரு நிபந்தனையுடன் வாழ்த்துவதை பெரும்பாலும் நாம் உணர்வதில்லை. அதாவது,  'உன் ஆத்துமா வாழ்கிறதுபோல" எனும் வார்த்தைகள்தான் அந்த நிபந்தனை.  முதலில் நமது ஆத்துமா வாழவேண்டும். அதாவது நமது ஆத்துமா அழிவுக்குத்தப்பி ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவால் மீட்கப்பட்டு வாழ்வடையவேண்டும். அப்படி நமது ஆத்துமா வாழும்போது அதுவே  ஆவிக்குரிய ஆசீர்வாதமாகும்.

இப்படி நமது ஆத்துமா ஆசீர்வாதமாக வாழும்போது, மற்ற எல்லா ஆசீர்வாதங்களும் நமக்கு வாழ்வில் ஏற்படும். இதனையே நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "முதலாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக்கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும்." ( மத்தேயு 6: 33) என்று கூறினார். 

மேலும், "உதாரகுணமுள்ள ஆத்துமா செழிக்கும்; எவன் தண்ணீர் பாய்ச்சுகிறானோ அவனுக்குத் தண்ணீர் பாய்ச்சப்படும்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 11: 25) என்று வேத வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. "உதாரகுணம்" என்பதற்கு ஆங்கில வேதாகமத்தில்  liberal soul எனும் வார்த்தை குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதாவது பெருந்தன்மையான குணம் அல்லது  தாராளமனப்பான்மை என்றும் கூறலாம். இந்தத் தாராளகுணம் கிறிஸ்து நம்மில் பெருகும்போதுதான் நமக்குள் ஏற்படும். 

இப்படி நாம் நமது ஆத்துமாவில் பெருந்தன்மையான குணத்தோடு வாழும்போது நாம் ஆத்துமாவில் வாழ்கின்றோம் என்று பொருள். இப்படி வாழ்பவர்களைப் பார்த்துதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான்,  "உன் ஆத்துமா வாழ்கிறதுபோல நீ எல்லாவற்றிலும் வாழ்ந்து சுகமாயிருக்கும்படி வேண்டுகிறேன்." என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

இதனாலேயே சங்கீத ஆசிரியரும், "என் ஆத்துமாவைக் காத்தருளும், நான் பக்தியுள்ளவன்; என் தேவனே, உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிற உமது அடியேனை நீர் இரட்சியும்". ( சங்கீதம் 86: 2) என்றும், "உமது அடியேனுடைய ஆத்துமாவை மகிழ்ச்சியாக்கும்; ஆண்டவரே, உம்மிடத்தில் என் ஆத்துமாவை உயர்த்துகிறேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 86: 4) என்றும் மன்றாடுகின்றார். 

நாமும் நமது ஆத்துமா வாழும்படி தேவனைநோக்கி மன்றாடவேண்டியது அவசியம். மட்டுமல்ல, நமது ஆத்துமா வாழும்படியான தேவனுக்கேற்ற செயல்பாடுகளில் ஈடுபடுபடவேண்டியதும் அவசியம். இப்படி நாம் வாழும்போது இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல எல்லாவற்றிலும் நாம் வாழ்ந்து சுகமாக இருப்போம்.

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." (3 John 1:2, KJV)

Today’s meditation verse is commonly used in wedding ceremonies to bless newlyweds. The phrase, "that thou mayest prosper and be in health," makes it a popular verse for blessing couples. However, this verse is also one that each of us should experience and live out in our daily lives.

This verse is not merely a blessing but comes with a condition that we often overlook. The condition is found in the words, "even as thy soul prospereth." First and foremost, our soul must prosper. This means our soul must be saved from destruction and redeemed by the Lord Jesus Christ to attain true life. When our soul prospers in this way, it becomes a spiritual blessing.

When our soul prospers as a blessing, all other blessings will follow in our lives. This is what our Lord Jesus Christ meant when He said, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33, KJV).

Furthermore, the Scripture says, "The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself." (Proverbs 11:25, KJV). The term "liberal soul" in the English Bible refers to a generous or magnanimous spirit. This generous spirit grows within us only when Christ abides in us.

When we live with such a magnanimous spirit in our soul, we are truly living in our soul. It is to such people that the apostle John says in today’s meditation verse, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."

This is why the Psalmist also prays, "Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O Thou my God, save Thy servant that trusteth in Thee." (Psalm 86:2, KJV), and "Rejoice the soul of Thy servant: for unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul." (Psalm 86:4, KJV).

We too must pray to God for our soul to prosper. Not only that, but it is also essential to engage in godly activities that help our soul prosper. When we live in this way, we will prosper and be in health in all things, as today’s meditation verse declares.

❤️Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 57: 3 / Psalm 57:3

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,475

'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 20, 2025. 💚வியாழக்கிழமை

"என்னை விழுங்கப்பார்க்கிறவன் என்னை நிந்திக்கையில், அவர் பரலோகத்திலிருந்து ஒத்தாசை அனுப்பி, என்னை இரட்சிப்பார்: (சேலா). தேவன் தமது கிருபையையும் தமது சத்தியத்தையும் அனுப்புவார்." ( சங்கீதம் 57: 3)

தன்னைக் கொல்வதற்குப் பின்தொடர்ந்த சவுலுக்குத் தப்பி ஓடுகையில் மலையிலிருந்த ஒரு குகையில் தாவீது பதுங்கிக்கொண்டார்.  இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தாவீது அத்தகைய இக்கட்டான வேளையில் தேவனை நோக்கிப் பாடியது. 

தேவன்மேல் தாவீது கொண்டிருந்த உறுதியான நம்பிக்கையினை இந்த வசனம் வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றது. "அவர் பரலோகத்திலிருந்து ஒத்தாசை அனுப்பி, என்னை இரட்சிப்பார்" என்று உறுதியுடன் அறிக்கையிடுகின்றார் தாவீது. இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் இரண்டு வசனங்களுக்கு முன் அவர் தேவனிடம் மன்றாடுகிறார். அப்போது அவர்  கூறுகின்றார், "எனக்கு இரங்கும், தேவனே, எனக்கு இரங்கும்; உம்மை என் ஆத்துமா அண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறது; விக்கினங்கள் கடந்துபோகுமட்டும் உமது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே வந்து அடைவேன்." ( சங்கீதம் 57: 1)

பருந்து வானத்தில் வட்டமிடும்போது தாய்க்கோழியின் சிறகின்கீழ் பாதுகாப்புக்காக ஒதுங்கும் கோழிக்குஞ்சுகளை நாம் பார்த்திருப்போம். அதுபோல, விக்கினங்கள் கடந்துபோகுமட்டும் உமது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே வந்து அடைவேன் என்று இந்த வசனத்தில் தாவீது கூறுகின்றார். அதன்பின்பு அவர் கலங்கவில்லை. தேவன்மேல் பாரத்தை வைத்துவிட்டு அமைதியாகின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமக்கு இந்த தியான சங்கீதம் ஒரு வழிகாட்டுதலாக இருக்கின்றது. வெறுமனே ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டிருப்பதல்ல, தாவீது உறுதியாக விசுவாசத்துடன், "தேவன் தமது கிருபையையும் தமது சத்தியத்தையும் அனுப்புவார்." என அறிக்கையிட்டதுபோல நமது இக்கட்டான சூழ்நிலைகளில் விசுவாச அறிக்கையிட்டு பொறுமையாகக் காத்திருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  அதனைத் தேவன் நிச்சயம் கனம்பண்ணுகிறார். எதிர்மறையான வாழ்க்கைச் சூழலிலும் நாம் சூழ்நிலைகளைப் பாராமல் நமது விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியுடன் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

புதிய ஏற்பாட்டில் நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின்மூலம் சுகம் பெற்ற பலரும் விசுவாசம் எனும் ஆயுதத்தையே பயன்படுத்தி வெற்றிபெற்றனர். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைப்போல வேதாகமம் முழுவதும் நமது விசுவாசத்தை வளர்க்க உதவும் பல தேவ வார்த்தைகள் பரவியுள்ளன. எனவே, நாம் வேதாகமத்தை வாசிக்க வாசிக்க நமக்குள் விசுவாசம் உறுதிப்படும். ஆம், "எளியவன் என்றைக்கும் மறக்கப்படுவதில்லை; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுடைய நம்பிக்கை ஒருபோதும் கெட்டுப்போவதில்லை." ( சங்கீதம் 9: 18) நம்பிக்கையோடு நமது பிரச்சனைகளை அவருக்குத் தெரிவித்து தேவனது அதிசயங்களை வாழ்வில் எதிர்பார்ப்போம். தாவீது தனது நம்பிக்கையை வார்த்தைகளால் வெளிப்படுத்தியதுபோல நமது நம்பிக்கையையும் தேவனிடம் அறிக்கையிடுவோம். 

நம்மை விழுங்கப்பார்க்கிறவன் எந்த சத்துருவாக இருந்தாலும் தேவன்  பரலோகத்திலிருந்து ஒத்தாசை அனுப்பி, நம்மை இரட்சிப்பார்: தேவன் தமது கிருபையையும் தமது சத்தியத்தையும் அனுப்புவார். "வெள்ளம்போல் சத்துரு வரும்போது, கர்த்தருடைய ஆவியானவர் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கொடியேற்றுவார். ( ஏசாயா 59:19) பயப்படாமல் விசுவாசத்தோடு இருப்போம்.

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,475

AATHAVAN 💚 February 20, 2025 💚 Thursday

"He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth His mercy and His truth." (Psalm 57:3, KJV)

While fleeing from Saul, who sought to kill him, David hid in a cave in the mountains. Today’s meditation verse is a song David sang to God during such a critical moment.

This verse reveals David’s steadfast faith in God. With confidence, he declares, "He shall send from heaven, and save me." Just two verses before this, David pleads with God, saying, "Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in Thee: yea, in the shadow of Thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast." (Psalm 57:1, KJV)

We have seen how chicks seek shelter under the wings of a mother hen when a hawk circles above. Similarly, David says, "In the shadow of Thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast." After this, David does not despair. He places his burden on the Lord and finds peace.

Yes, dear ones, this meditation Psalm serves as a guide for us. It is not merely about praying, but like David, we must declare with firm faith, "God shall send forth His mercy and His truth." In our difficult situations, we must make declarations of faith and wait patiently. God will surely honour it. Even in negative life circumstances, we must remain steadfast in our faith, regardless of the situation.

In the New Testament, many who received healing through our Lord Jesus Christ used the weapon of faith and achieved victory.

Like today’s meditation verse, the entire Bible is filled with God’s words that help strengthen our faith. As we read the Scriptures, our faith will grow stronger. Indeed, "For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever." (Psalm 9:18, KJV) Let us bring our problems to Him with hope and expect His miracles in our lives. Just as David expressed his faith in words, let us also declare our faith to God.

No matter who the enemy is that seeks to swallow us up, God will send help from heaven and save us. He will send forth His mercy and His truth. "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him." (Isaiah 59:19, KJV) Let us live without fear, but with faith.
