❤️ Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 45 : 6 / (Isaiah 45:6-7

'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 19, 2025. 💚புதன்கிழமை

"என்னைத்தவிர ஒருவரும் இல்லையென்று சூரியன் உதிக்கிற திசையிலும், அது அஸ்தமிக்கிற திசையிலும் அறியப்படும்படிக்கு நீ என்னை அறியாதிருந்தும், நான் உனக்கு இடைக்கட்டு கட்டினேன்; நானே கர்த்தர், வேறொருவர் இல்லை." ( ஏசாயா 45 : 6 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தேவன் எதற்காக நம்மைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார் என்பதனை விளக்குகின்றது. அதாவது, கர்த்தரைத் தவிர வேறு தேவன் ஒருவரும் இல்லையென்று சூரியன் உதிக்கிற திசையிலும், அது அஸ்தமிக்கிற திசையிலும் உள்ள மக்கள் அறியப்படும்படிக்கு என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதாவது, நாம் நமது சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை மூலம் அவரை உலகுக்கு அறிவிக்கவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக நம்மைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.

இதனையே நாம் அப்போஸ்தலர்ப்பணி நூலில், "பரிசுத்த ஆவி உங்களிடத்தில் வரும்போது நீங்கள் பெலனடைந்து, எருசலேமிலும், யூதேயா முழுவதிலும், சமாரியாவிலும், பூமியின் கடைசிப்பரியந்தமும், எனக்குச் சாட்சிகளாயிருப்பீர்கள்". ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 1 : 8 ) என்று நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துத் தனது சீடர்களிடம் கூறுவதன்மூலம் அறியலாம். 

இதுவரைக் கர்த்தரைத் தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்வில் அறியாதிருந்த நமக்கு அவர் தன்னை வெளிப்படுத்தியது இதற்காகத்தான் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. அதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் பிற்பகுதியில், "நீ என்னை அறியாதிருந்தும், நான் உனக்கு இடைக்கட்டு கட்டினேன்; நானே கர்த்தர், வேறொருவர் இல்லை." என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. "நான் உனக்கு இடைக்கட்டு கட்டினேன்" என்று கூறுவது பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் வல்லமையினைக் குறிக்கின்றது.  

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இப்படி அவரை அறியாதிருந்த நமக்கு அவர் தன்னை வெளிப்படுத்தி, ஆவியின் அபிஷேகத்தைத் தந்து தேவனுக்கு உண்மையுள்ள சாட்சிகளாய் வாழ நியமித்துள்ளார். இப்படி ஆவியின் வல்லமை பெற்றுத் தேவனுக்கு உண்மையான சாட்சிகளாய் வாழ்வோமானால் அவரால் பெற்ற இரட்சிப்பு நமக்கு வாழ்வில் மதிலாக இருந்து நம்மைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும். நமது வாயில் கர்த்தரைத் துதிக்கும் துதி எப்போதும் இருந்துகொண்டே இருக்கும்.

இதனையே ஏசாயா தீர்க்கத்தரிசி மூலம் தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "இனிக்கொடுமை உன் தேசத்திலும், அழிவும் நாசமும் உன் எல்லைகளிலும் கேட்கப்படமாட்டாது; உன்மதில்களை இரட்சிப்பென்றும், உன் வாசல்களைத் துதியென்றும் சொல்லுவாய்."( ஏசாயா 60 : 18 ) மட்டுமல்ல, "உன் சூரியன் இனி அஸ்தமிப்பதுமில்லை; உன் சந்திரன் மறைவதுமில்லை; கர்த்தரே உனக்கு நித்திய வெளிச்சமாயிருப்பார்; உன் துக்கநாட்கள் முடிந்துபோகும்." ( ஏசாயா 60 : 20 ) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். 

நமது தேவனைத் தவிர வேறு ஒருவரும் இல்லையென்று சூரியன் உதிக்கிற திசையிலும், அது அஸ்தமிக்கிற திசையிலும் உள்ள மக்கள் அறியப்படும்படிக்கு நாமே அவருக்குச் சாட்சிகள். இதற்காகவே நம்மேல் நம்பிக்கையுடன் அவரை அறியாதிருந்த நமக்குத் தன்னை வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளார் தேவன். அவரது நம்பிக்கைக்குப் பாத்திரமாக நடந்துகொள்வோம். 

அப்படி அறிவிப்பதன்மூலம் தேவனும் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார். கர்த்தரே நமக்கு நித்திய வெளிச்சமாயிருப்பார்; நமது துக்கநாட்கள் முடிந்துபோகும். சாட்சி வாழ்வு வாழ நம்மையே ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம்.

AATHAVAN 💚 February 19, 2025 💚 Wednesday

"That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." (Isaiah 45:6-7, KJV)

Today’s meditation verse explains why God has chosen to make Himself known to us. It is so that people from the east, where the sun rises, to the west, where it sets, may know that there is no God besides the Lord. This means that through our testimonial lives, we must proclaim Him to the world; that is, He chose us so that we may proclaim Him to the world through our life of testimony.

This is also reflected in the Book of Acts, where our Lord Jesus Christ tells His disciples, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1:8, KJV).

Until now, even though we did not know the Lord personally, He revealed Himself to us for this very purpose, as today’s meditation verse declares. The latter part of the verse states, "That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else." The phrase "I form the light, and create darkness" signifies the power of the Holy Spirit.

Yes, dear friends, though we did not know Him, He revealed Himself to us, anointed us with His Spirit, and appointed us to be true witnesses for God. If we live as true witnesses empowered by the Spirit, the salvation we have received will become a protective wall around us, guarding our lives. The praise of the Lord will continually be on our lips.

This is what the Lord declares through the prophet Isaiah: "Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise." (Isaiah 60:18, KJV). Not only that, but He also says, "Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended." (Isaiah 60:20, KJV).

We are witnesses to the truth that there is no God besides our Lord, from the rising of the sun to its setting. For this purpose, God has revealed Himself to us, even when we did not know Him. Let us live worthy of His trust.

By proclaiming Him, God will bless us. The Lord Himself will be our everlasting light, and our days of sorrow will come to an end. Let us surrender ourselves to live a life of testimony.

❤️Meditation verse - எரேமியா 30: 23 / Jeremiah 30:23

'ஆதவன்' பிப்ருவரி 18, 2025. 💚செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை

"இதோ, கோராவாரிக் காற்றாகிய கர்த்தருடைய பெருங்காற்று உக்கிரமாயெழும்பி, அடித்து, துன்மார்க்கருடைய தலையின்மேல் மோதும்." ( எரேமியா 30: 23)

தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையின்படி வாழும்போது மட்டுமே நாம் அவருக்கேற்ற ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழமுடியும். இல்லாவிடில் துன்மார்க்க எண்ணங்களும் செயல்பாடுகளும் நம்மில் குடிகொண்டு நம்மை துன்மார்க்க வாழ்க்கையினுள் கொண்டுசென்றுவிடும். இப்படி வாழ்ந்தோமானால் நமது  நிலைமை எப்படி முடியும் என்பதனையே இன்றைய தியானவசனம்  நமக்கு எடுத்துக்கூறி நம்மை எச்சரிக்கின்றது. 

துன்மார்க்கம் என்பது ஒரேநாளில் மனிதனில் செயல்படும் காரியமல்ல. அது ஒரு தொடர் நிகழ்வு. சிறிய சிறிய காரியங்களில் நாம் தேவனையும் அவரது வார்த்தைகளையும் அசட்டை செய்யும்போது இறுதியில் அது நம்மை முழுவதும் துன்மார்க்கத்துக்குள் கொண்டு சென்றுவிடும். மதுவுக்கு அடிமையான பல இளைஞர்களும் கூறும் சாட்சி இதனை நமக்குப் புரியவைக்கும். 

பல இளைஞர்கள் தாங்கள்  நண்பர்களால் மதுவுக்கு அடிமையானதாகக் கூறுகின்றனர். முதலில் சிறிய அளவில் "ஒருபெக்" (peg) என்றுதான் மதுவைச் சுவைக்கின்றனர். பின்னர் அது படிப்படியாக அதிகரித்து முழுகுடிகாரர்களாக ஒருவரை மாற்றுகின்றது. இதுபோலவேதான்  பாவமும். தேவ வார்த்தையை முதலில் சிறிதாக மீறி நடந்து தொடர்நது அது துன்மார்க்கத்தில் கொண்டு சேர்கின்றது. ஆனால் தேவன் இப்படித் துன்மார்க்கத்தில் வாழ்பவர்களை நோக்கிக் கூறுகின்றார்,  "கோராவாரிக் காற்றாகிய கர்த்தருடைய பெருங்காற்று உக்கிரமாயெழும்பி, அடித்து, துன்மார்க்கருடைய தலையின்மேல் மோதும்." என்று.

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து எனவேதான் தனது வார்த்தையின்படி வாழ்பவர்களை கன்மலையின்மேல் தன் வீட்டைக் கட்டின புத்தியுள்ள மனுஷனுக்கு ஒப்பிட்டுக் கூறுகின்றார். "ஆகையால், நான் சொல்லிய இந்த வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டு, இவைகளின்படி செய்கிறவன் எவனோ, அவனைக் கன்மலையின்மேல் தன் வீட்டைக் கட்டின புத்தியுள்ள மனுஷனுக்கு ஒப்பிடுவேன். பெருமழை சொரிந்து, பெருவெள்ளம் வந்து, காற்று அடித்து, அந்த வீட்டின்மேல் மோதியும், அது விழவில்லை; ஏனென்றால், அது கன்மலையின்மேல் அஸ்திபாரம் போடப்பட்டிருந்தது." ( மத்தேயு 7: 24, 25) என்கின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் அவரது வார்த்தையின்படி வாழும்போது உறுதியான மலையின்மேல் வீட்டைக்கட்டிய மனிதனைப்போல உறுதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வீட்டினை நமக்காக கட்டியவர்களாக இருப்போம். இல்லையானால் மணலின்மேல் வீட்டைக் கட்டிய மூடனுக்கு ஒப்பாவோம். இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதுபோல எந்த நேரத்திலும் கர்த்தருடைய கோபம் அத்தகைய கீழ்ப்படியாத வாழ்க்கை வாழும்போது ஒருவருக்கு நேரிடலாம்.   

புத்தியுள்ள மனிதர்களாக கற்பாறையான இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் நமது வீட்டைக் கட்டுவோம். அவரது வார்த்தைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதே அப்படிக் கட்டுவதாகும். அப்படிக் கட்டும்போது நாம் நீதியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ முடியும்; எத்தகைய புயற்காற்றும் நம்மை மேற்கொள்ள முடியாது.

"Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked." (Jeremiah 30:23, KJV)

When we live according to God’s Word, we lead a life that is pleasing to Him. Otherwise, wicked thoughts and actions will take root in us, leading us into a life of sin. Today’s meditation verse warns us of the consequences of such a life.

Wickedness does not manifest in a person overnight. It is a gradual process. When we neglect God and His Word in small matters, it eventually leads us into complete wickedness. The testimonies of many youths addicted to alcohol illustrate this truth.

Many young people claim that they became addicted to alcohol due to peer pressure. Initially, they start with a small amount, perhaps just a "peg." Gradually, it increases, turning them into full-fledged alcoholics. Similarly, sin works in our lives. When we disregard God’s Word, even in small ways, it leads us deeper into wickedness. But God warns those who live in wickedness, saying, "Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked." (Jeremiah 30:23, KJV)

This is why our Lord Jesus Christ compares those who live according to His Word to a wise man who built his house on a rock. "Therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock." (Matthew 7:24-25, KJV)

Yes, dear friends, when we live according to His Word, we are like the wise man who built his house on a solid rock—a firm foundation. Otherwise, we become like the foolish man who built his house on sand. As today’s meditation verse warns, the wrath of the Lord can come upon anyone who lives a disobedient life at any time.

Let us be wise and build our house on the rock, which is Jesus Christ. To build on Him means to obey His Word. When we do so, we can live a righteous life, and no storm will be able to overcome us.

Meditation verse - ரூத் 1:16 / Ruth 1:16

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,472

'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 17, 2025. 💚திங்கள்கிழமை

"நான் உம்மைப் பின்பற்றாமல் உம்மைவிட்டுத் திரும்பிப் போவதைக்குறித்து, என்னோடே பேசவேண்டாம்; நீர் போகும் இடத்திற்கு நானும் வருவேன்; நீர் தங்கும் இடத்திலே நானும் தங்குவேன்; உம்முடைய ஜனம் என்னுடைய ஜனம்; உம்முடைய தேவன் என்னுடைய தேவன்". (ரூத் 1:16)

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் மோவாபிய பெண்ணான ரூத் கூறுவதாகும். ரூத் தேவனால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட யூத இனத்தைச் சார்ந்தவளல்ல. ஆனால், யூதரான தனது மாமியாரை அதிகமாக  நேசித்ததால் மாமியார் வழிபடும் கர்த்தரையே வழிபட திடனாக முடிவெடுத்தவள். அதற்காக தனது சொந்த நாட்டையும் மக்களையும் விட்டு தனது மாமியாரைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு அவளோடு யூதாவுக்கு வந்தவள்.

தனது கணவன், இரண்டு மகன்களோடு  பஞ்சம்பிழைக்க மோவாபிய நாட்டில் சென்று வாழ்ந்தவள் தான் ரூத்தின் மாமியார் நகோமி. ஆனால் அவளது கணவனும் இரண்டு மகன்களும் இறந்தபின்னர் தனது சொந்த நாட்டிற்குத் திரும்புகின்றாள் அவள். அப்போது தனது இரண்டு மருமகள்களையும் ஆசீர்வதித்து திரும்பிச்சென்று தங்கள் பெற்றோருடன் தங்கிவாழவும் வேறு ஒருவரை மணமுடித்துக்கொள்ளவும் கூறுகின்றாள். அப்போது ஒரு மருமகள் மாமியாரை முத்தம்செய்து திரும்பிச் சென்றுவிட்டாள்.

ஆனால் இன்னொரு மருமகளான ரூத்தோ, "நான் உம்மைப் பின்பற்றாமல் உம்மைவிட்டுத் திரும்பிப் போவதைக்குறித்து, என்னோடே பேசவேண்டாம்; நீர் போகும் இடத்திற்கு நானும் வருவேன்; நீர் தங்கும் இடத்திலே நானும் தங்குவேன்; உம்முடைய ஜனம் என்னுடைய ஜனம்; உம்முடைய தேவன் என்னுடைய தேவன்". என்று கூறி மாமியார் நகோமியோடு யூதாவுக்குத் திரும்பினாள். 

அன்பானவர்களே, இப்படி ரூத்தைப்போல நாம் தேவனிடம் வைராக்கியமாக இருக்கின்றோமா? மாமியாரை நேசிப்பது ஒருவேளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளக்கூடியது. ஆனால் யாரும் தங்களது இறை நம்பிகையினை எளிதில் மாற்றிவிடுவதில்லை. ரூத்தோ, "உம்முடைய ஜனம் என்னுடைய ஜனம்; உம்முடைய தேவன் என்னுடைய தேவன்" என்று உறுதியாகக் கூறுகின்றாள்.  

தேவனுக்காக அவள் எடுத்த இந்த வைராக்கியமாக முடிவினை தேவனும் கனம் பண்ணினார். நமது இரட்சகராக இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மூதாதையர் வரிசையில் ரூத்தின் பெயரும் இடம்பெற தேவன் கிருபை செய்தார். மத்தேயு முதல் அதிகாரத்தில், "போவாஸ் ஓபேதை ரூத்தினிடத்தில் பெற்றான்; ஓபேத் ஈசாயைப் பெற்றான்;  ஈசாய் தாவீது ராஜாவைப் பெற்றான்;(மத்தேயு 1:5,6)  என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

நாம் அதிகமாக பேசும் பழைய ஏற்பாட்டு பக்தனாகிய தாவீது ராஜாவின் பூட்டிப்பாட்டியானாள் இந்த ரூத்து. இதனை நாம் ரூத் புத்தகத்திலும் வாசிக்கலாம், "சல்மோன் போவாசைப் பெற்றான்; போவாஸ் ஓபேதைப் பெற்றான். ஓபேத் ஈசாயைப் பெற்றான்; ஈசாய் தாவீதைப் பெற்றான்." (ரூத் 4:21, 22)

இன்றும் பிற மார்கங்களிலிருந்து மனம்திரும்பி கிறிஸ்தவத்துக்கு வந்தவர்கள் ரூத்தைப்போல பரம்பரைக் கிறிஸ்தவர்களைவிட கிறிஸ்துவை மெய்யாகவே அறிந்து நேசிப்பவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியாக இருக்கின்றனர். "உம்முடைய ஜனம் என்னுடைய ஜனம்; உம்முடைய தேவன் என்னுடைய தேவன்" என்று ரூத் கூறுவதுபோல பழைய மத நம்பிக்கைகளை விட்டு கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் பற்றுகொண்டவர்களாக மாறிவருகின்றனர். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, "எல்லா தெய்வமும் ஒன்றுதான்; எல்லா ஆறுகளும் ஒரே கடலில்தான் சென்று சேருகின்றன" என்று மூடத்தனமாக பேசிக்கொண்டும் மனதில் எண்ணிக்கொண்டும் செயல்படுவோமானால் நாம் விசுவாசத்தில் குறைவுள்ளவர்கள் என்று பொருள். தனது பரம்பரைத் தெய்வத்தையும் உறவுகளையும் கர்த்தருக்காகத் தியாகம் செய்த ரூத்தைப்போல நாம் உறுதியாக இருப்போமானால் நம்மையும் தேவன் கனம்பண்ணுவார்; ஆசீர்வதித்து நடத்துவார்.

"Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God." (Ruth 1:16, KJV)

Today’s meditation verse is spoken by Ruth, a Moabite woman. Ruth was not originally part of the Jewish people chosen by God. However, because of her deep love for her Jewish mother-in-law, she firmly decided to worship the Lord whom her mother-in-law served. For this reason, she left her own country and people to accompany her mother-in-law to Judah.

Ruth’s mother-in-law, Naomi, had gone to live in Moab with her husband and two sons due to a famine. However, after the death of her husband and two sons, Naomi decided to return to her homeland. At that time, she blessed her two daughters-in-law and urged them to return to their parents, remarry, and live with their families. One daughter-in-law kissed Naomi and left, but Ruth clung to her and said, "Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God." (Ruth 1:16, KJV). With this declaration, Ruth returned to Judah with Naomi.

Beloved, are we as devoted to God as Ruth was? Loving one’s mother-in-law is commendable, but it is rare for someone to so easily change their faith. Ruth firmly declared, "Thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God." Her decision to follow God was honored by Him, and she was included in the genealogy of Jesus Christ, our Savior. In Matthew 1:5-6 (KJV), we read, "And Salmon begat Boaz of Rachab; and Boaz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse; and Jesse begat David the king."

Ruth became the great-grandmother of David, the beloved king of the Old Testament. This is also recorded in the Book of Ruth: "And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David." (Ruth 4:21-22, KJV).

Even today, those who turn to Christianity from other faiths often demonstrate a genuine love for Christ and a firmness in faith, much like Ruth. They leave behind their old beliefs and cling to Christ, declaring, "Thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God."

Beloved, if we foolishly say, "All gods are the same; all rivers flow into the same ocean," it shows a lack of faith. But if we, like Ruth, are willing to sacrifice our ancestral gods and relationships for the Lord, God will honor and bless us.

Meditation verse - யோவான் 20:31 / John 20:31

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,471

'ஆதவன்' பிப்ருவரி 16, 2025. 💚ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை

"இயேசு தேவனுடைய குமாரனாகிய கிறிஸ்து என்று நீங்கள் விசுவாசிக்கும்படியாகவும், விசுவாசித்து அவருடைய நாமத்தினாலே நித்தியஜீவனை அடையும்படியாகவும், இவைகள் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன." (யோவான் 20:31)

இன்று நற்செய்தி அறிவிப்பு என்ற பெயரில் பல்வேறுவிதமான  குழப்படியான போதனைகள் செய்யப்பட்டு வருவதை நாம் அறிவோம். கிறிஸ்துவைவிட தங்களையே முதன்மைப்படுத்தும் ஊழியர்கள், புனிதர்களை முன்னிலைப்படுத்தும் திருச்சபைகள், அதிசயம், அற்புதம் என உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களை மட்டுமே ஆன்மிகம் என்ற பெயரில் போதிக்கும் அவலம், இவைபோன்றவை  கிறிஸ்தவத்தின் சாபக்கேடாக  இருப்பது மறுக்கமுடியாத உண்மை.

சுவிசேஷம் ஏன் எழுதப்பட்டது என்பதற்கும் இன்று கிறிஸ்தவ உலகில் நடக்கும் தப்பறையான நிலைமைகளுக்கும் விளக்கமாக அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் கூறுகின்றார்.  அதாவது, நற்செய்தி அறிவிப்பு என்பது,  முதலில் இயேசு தேவனுடைய குமாரனாகிய கிறிஸ்து என்று மக்களுக்குத் தெளிவுபடுத்துவது. காரணம், அப்படி மக்கள் தெளிவடையும்போது மட்டுமே அவருடைய நாமத்தினாலே நித்தியஜீவனை அடைய முடியும். மனித வாழ்க்கை இந்த உலகோடு முடிவடைவதல்ல; மாறாக என்றும் முடிவில்லா ஒரு வாழ்க்கை மனிதர்களுக்கு உள்ளது. அதுவே நித்திய ஜீவன் அல்லது நிலைவாழ்வு. 

இப்படி, இயேசு தேவனுடைய குமாரனாகிய கிறிஸ்து என்று நாம் விசுவாசிக்கும்படியாகவும், அப்படி விசுவாசித்து அவருடைய பெயரால் நித்தியஜீவனை அடையும்படியாகவும், சுவிசேஷம் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது என்று கூறுகின்றார். ஆனால் இன்றைய பெரும்பாலான சுவிசேஷ அறிவிப்புகளில் கிறிஸ்துவும் அறிவிக்கப்படுவதில்லை நித்திய  ஜீவனைப் பற்றியும் பலரும் பேசுவதில்லை. ஆனால் தேவனோ, "எல்லா மனுஷரும் இரட்சிக்கப்படவும், சத்தியத்தை அறிகிற அறிவை அடையவும், சித்தமுள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார்." (1 தீமோத்தேயு 2: 4) அதற்காகவே தனது அடியார்களைக்கொண்டு சுவிசேஷத்தை எழுதும்படிச் செய்தார். 

ஆனால் இன்று ஏனோதானோ மனநிலையில் ஏதேதோ பேசுகின்றார்கள். சம்பந்தமில்லாமல் பாரம்பரிய வழிபாடுகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு வருகிறார்கள். ஆனால் இவை எதுவும் நம்மை,  நமது ஆத்துமாவை இரட்சிப்புக்கு நேராக நடத்துவதில்லை.  பாரம்பரிய சடங்குமுறை வழிபாடுகள் தேவனை அறிய  உதவுவதுமில்லை.

"தேவன், தம்முடைய ஒரேபேறான குமாரனை விசுவாசிக்கிறவன் எவனோ அவன் கெட்டுப்போகாமல் நித்தியஜீவனை அடையும்படிக்கு, அவரைத் தந்தருளி, இவ்வளவாய் உலகத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்தார்."  (யோவான் 3:16) என்று வேதம் கூறுகின்றது. ஆனால், நாம் கெட்டுப்போகாமல் நித்திய ஜீவனை அடையவேண்டும் என்று பிதாவாகிய தேவன் கொண்ட இந்த மேலான சித்தத்தையும் அதற்காக அவர் தனது குமாரனை உலகினில் அனுப்பியதையும்  தெளிவுபடுத்தி போதிக்காமல் உலக ஆசீர்வாதங்களையே பலரும் போதித்துக்கொண்டும் அதற்காகவே விசுவாசிகளை வேண்டுதல்கள் செய்யச் சொல்லியும் பழக்கப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர்; தங்களை தேவ ஊழியர்கள் என்றும் கூறிக்கொள்கின்றனர்.

அன்பானவர்களே, பிதாவாகிய தேவனால் உலகினில் அனுப்பப்பட்ட இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவே பிதாவோடு நம்மை இணைப்பவர். அவர் மட்டுமே நமக்காக பிதாவிடம் பரிந்து பேசமுடியும். "தேவன் ஒருவரே, தேவனுக்கும் மனுஷருக்கும் மத்தியஸ்தரும் ஒருவரே. எல்லாரையும் மீட்கும்பொருளாகத் தம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்த மனுஷனாகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசு அவரே; இதற்குரிய சாட்சி ஏற்ற காலங்களில் விளங்கிவருகிறது." (1 தீமோத்தேயு 2: 5, 6) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.

எனவே நாம் முதலில் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் அசைக்கமுடிடியாத விசுவாசம் கொண்டவர்களாக வாழவேண்டும். அவர் மட்டுமே நமக்காக பிதாவிடம் பரிந்து பேச முடியும் என்பதை நம்பவேண்டும். அவரே நம்மை பாவத்திலிருந்து விடுவித்து நித்திய ஜீவனுக்கு நேராக வழிநடத்த முடியும் என்பதனை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். இவைகள் அனைத்தையும்  ஏற்றுக்கொள்பவர்களே மெய்யான கிறிஸ்தவர்கள். 

எனவேதான் "இயேசு தேவனுடைய குமாரனாகிய கிறிஸ்து என்று நீங்கள் விசுவாசிக்கும்படியாகவும், விசுவாசித்து அவருடைய நாமத்தினாலே நித்தியஜீவனை அடையும்படியாகவும், இவைகள் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன." என்கின்றார் அவருடைய அன்புச் சீடனாகிய யோவான். வேதாகம வசனங்களை விசுவாசிப்போம்;  ஏற்றுக்கொள்வோம்; கீழ்ப்படிவோம்; நித்தியஜீவனுக்குப் பங்குள்ளவர்கள் ஆவோம்.

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,471

AATHAVAN 💚 February 16, 2025 💚 Sunday

"But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." (John 20:31, KJV)

Today, under the name of "preaching the Gospel," we see various kinds of confusing and distorted teachings being propagated. Ministers who prioritize themselves over Christ, churches that elevate saints, and the tragic focus on miracles, wonders, and worldly blessings under the guise of spirituality—these have undeniably become a curse to Christianity.

The Apostle John, in today’s meditation verse, provides clarity on why the Gospel was written and contrasts it with the erroneous practices in today’s Christian world. The primary purpose of the Gospel is to make it clear to people that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. Only when people understand this can they receive eternal life through His name. Life on earth is not the end to men; rather, there is a life after our death and that is eternal and unending.

The Gospel was written so that we may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing, we may have eternal life through His name. However, in most Gospel preaching today, Christ is not proclaimed, nor is eternal life discussed. Yet, God desires that "all men should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:4, KJV). For this purpose, He inspired His servants to write the Gospel.

But today, many speak with a careless attitude, introducing irrelevant traditional practices and rituals. These things do not lead us or our souls directly to salvation. Traditional rituals and worship practices do not help us know God.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16, KJV). Yet, many fail to teach this supreme purpose of God the Father—that we should not perish but have eternal life—and instead focus on worldly blessings, urging believers to pray for such things. They also call themselves ministers of God.

Beloved, Jesus Christ, sent by God the Father into the world, is the only one who can connect us with the Father. He alone can intercede for us before the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." (1 Timothy 2:5-6, KJV).

Therefore, we must first live as those with unshakable faith in Christ. We must believe that He alone can intercede for us before the Father. We must accept that He alone can deliver us from sin and lead us directly to eternal life. Those who accept all these truths are true Christians.

This is why John, the beloved disciple, says, "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." Let us believe the Scriptures, accept them, obey them, and become partakers of eternal life.

Meditation verse - சங்கீதம் 42: 1 / Psalm 42:1

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,470

'ஆதவன்' 💚பிப்ருவரி 15, 2025. 💚சனிக்கிழமை

"மானானது நீரோடைகளை வாஞ்சித்துக் கதறுவதுபோல, தேவனே, என் ஆத்துமா உம்மை வாஞ்சித்துக் கதறுகிறது." ( சங்கீதம் 42: 1)

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தை நாம் ஏற்கெனவே "ஆதவன்" தியானத்தில் தியானித்துள்ளோம். ஆனால் இன்று புதிய ஒரு கண்ணோட்டத்தில் இந்த வசனத்தை நாம் தியானிக்கப் போகின்றோம். தாவீது ராஜா இந்தத் தியான  வசனத்தில் தனது மனதின் ஏக்கத்தை வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றார். அவரது ஆத்துமா ஏன் தேவனை வாஞ்சித்துக் கதறுகின்றது என்பதனை இதே சங்கீதத்தின் மூன்றாவது வசனத்தில் கூறுகின்றார்:- 

"உன் தேவன் எங்கே என்று அவர்கள் நாள்தோறும் என்னிடத்தில் சொல்லுகிறபடியால், இரவும் பகலும் என் கண்ணீரே எனக்கு உணவாயிற்று." ( சங்கீதம் 42: 3) என்கிறார். அதாவது அவரது எதிரிகள் அவரைக் கிண்டல் செய்கின்றனர். "நீ என்ன பெரிய பக்திமானா? நீ தேவனை நோக்கி ஜெபித்து என்ன பலன்? நீ ஜெபிக்கும் உனது தேவன் உண்மையுள்ளவர் என்றால் இப்போது அவர் எங்கே? ஏன் உன் ஜெபத்துக்கு அவர் பதிலளிக்கவில்லை? என்பதுபோன்ற பேச்சுக்களால் வேதனையுற்ற அவர் கண்ணீரோடு ஜெபிக்கின்றார். அந்த வேதனை பாலை நிலத்தில் தண்ணீருக்காக மானானது நீரோடைகளை வாஞ்சித்துக் கதறுவதுபோல இருக்கின்றது என்கின்றார். 

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துச் சிலுவையில் தொங்கியபோதும் மக்கள் இதுபோலவே அவர் மனதினை வேதனையுறச் செய்தனர். "மற்றவர்களை இரட்சித்தான்; தன்னைத்தான் இரட்சித்துக்கொள்ளத் திராணியில்லை; இவன் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவானால் இப்பொழுது சிலுவையிலிருந்து இறங்கிவரட்டும், அப்பொழுது இவனை விசுவாசிப்போம். தன்னைத் தேவனுடைய குமாரனென்று சொல்லி, தேவன்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருந்தானே; அவர் இவன்மேல் பிரியமாயிருந்தால் இப்பொழுது இவனை இரட்சிக்கட்டும் என்றார்கள்." ( மத்தேயு 27: 42, 43) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

தாவீது கதறியதுபோல இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் இந்த வேதனையில் சிலுவையில் கதறினார். "ஒன்பதாம்மணி நேரத்தில் இயேசு: ஏலீ! ஏலீ! லாமா சபக்தானி, என்று மிகுந்த சத்தமிட்டுக் கூப்பிட்டார்; அதற்கு என் தேவனே! என் தேவனே! ஏன் என்னைக் கைவிட்டீர் என்று அர்த்தமாம்." ( மத்தேயு 27: 46) ஆனால், பிதாவாகிய தேவன் அவரைக் கைவிடவில்லை; மகிமையான வாழ்வை அவருக்கு அளித்தார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் ஒருவேளை இன்று இதுபோல மற்றவர்களால் அற்பமாக, அவமானமாக எண்ணப்படலாம். "இயேசு, இயேசு, என்று கூறிக்கொண்டு ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டு இருக்கிறானே இவன் / இவள்  ஜெபிக்கும் இயேசு உண்மையுள்ளவரென்றால் ஏன் இவன் / இவள் இப்படியே இருக்கிறான் / ள் ? வாழ்வில் ஒரு மாற்றத்தையும் காணமுடியவில்லையே என்று எண்ணிக்கொள்ளலாம், சிலர் வெளிப்படையாகவே இப்படிக் கூறலாம். ஆனால் நீரோடையை வாஞ்சித்துக் கதறுவதுபோன்ற நமது ஜெபங்கள் வீணாகாது.  தேவன் நமக்குப் பதில் செய்யாமல் இருக்கமாட்டார். தாவீது ஜெபித்ததுபோல; இயேசு கிறிஸ்து ஜெபித்ததுபோல,  தொடர்ந்து ஊக்கமுடன் ஜெபிப்போம்.

Scripture Meditation - No. 1,470

AATHAVAN 💚 February 15, 2025 💚 Saturday

"As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God." (Psalm 42:1, KJV)

We have already meditated on today's scripture verse in a previous "Aathavan" meditation. However, today we will meditate on this verse from a new perspective. King David expresses the longing of his heart in this meditation verse. He reveals why his soul thirsts for God in the third verse of the same Psalm:

"My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?" (Psalm 42:3, KJV). Here, David is being mocked by his enemies. They taunt him, saying, "Are you such a great devotee? What is the use of your prayers to God? If the God you pray to is real, where is He now? Why hasn't He answered your prayers?" Such words deeply trouble David, and he prays with tears. He compares his anguish to a deer panting for water in a dry and barren land.

Similarly, when our Lord Jesus Christ hung on the cross, people tormented Him in the same way. We read in Matthew 27:42-43 (KJV): "He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God."

Just as David cried out, Jesus Christ also cried out in agony on the cross. "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46, KJV). Yet, the Father did not forsake Him; instead, He granted Him a glorious resurrection.

Yes, dear friends, in this world, we may sometimes be despised or humiliated by others. They may mock us, saying, "This person keeps calling on Jesus and praying, but if Jesus is real, why is this person still struggling? There’s no change in their life!" Some may even say this openly. But our prayers, like the deer panting for water, will not go unanswered. God will respond to us. Just as David prayed and Jesus Christ prayed, let us continue to pray with perseverance and courage.

Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 66: 3 / Isaiah 66:3

 வேதாகமத் தியானம் - எண்:- 1,469

'ஆதவன்' பிப்ருவரி 14, 2025. 💚வெள்ளிக்கிழமை

"மாட்டை வெட்டுகிறவன் மனுஷனைக் கொல்லுகிறவனாகவும், ஆட்டைப் பலியிடுகிறவன் நாயைக் கழுத்தறுக்கிறவனாகவும், காணிக்கையைப் படைக்கிறவன் பன்றி இரத்தத்தைப் படைக்கிறவனாகவும், தூபங்காட்டுகிறவன் விக்கிரகத்தை ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கிறவனாகவும் இருக்கிறான்; இவர்கள் தங்கள் வழிகளையே தெரிந்துகொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; இவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா தங்கள் அருவருப்புகளின்மேல் விருப்பமாயிருக்கிறது." ( ஏசாயா 66: 3)

இன்றைய தியான வசனம், துன்மார்க்க வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்துகொண்டு தேவனுக்கு பலிகளையும் காணிக்கைகளையும் ஆராதனைகளும் செலுத்தும் மக்களைக்குறித்து கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த துன்மார்க்கர்கள் தங்களது பாவச் செயல்பாட்டில் தொடர்ந்து விருப்பமுள்ளவர்களாகவே இருக்கின்றனர் என்று இந்த வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக்காலத்தில் ஆடு மாடுகளை தேவனுடைய சந்நிதியில் கொன்று அவைகளின் இரத்தத்தை  தங்கள்மேல் தெளித்து பாவ மன்னிப்பு பெறுவது குறித்து நாம் லேவியராகமத்தில் வாசிக்கலாம். உண்மையான மனம்திரும்புதல் இல்லாமல் இப்படிக் கடமைக்காகச் சில செயல்பாடுகளைச் செய்யும் மக்களை இன்றைய தியான வசனம் குறிப்பிடுகின்றது. 

இன்று இத்தகைய பலிசெலுத்துதல் இல்லையெனினும் நாம் மிருகங்களின் இரத்தத்தைவிட மேலான இரத்தமான கிறிஸ்துவின் விலையேறப்பெற்ற இரத்தத்தை நமது ஆத்தும மீட்புக்காக பெற்றுள்ளோம். எனவே, தேவ சந்நிதியில் நாம் ஆராதனை செய்யும்போது அல்லது ஆலயங்களுக்கு என பெரிய காணிக்கைகளைச்  செலுத்தும்போது இதனை நாம் மனிதில் கொண்டு நம்மைத் திருத்திக்கொள்ள சில காரியங்களை இந்த வசனம் நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. 

தேவ சந்நிதியில் மாட்டை பலிக்காக கொல்லும் மனிதன் தனது  உடன் சகோதரனைக் கொல்வதுபோன்ற செயலை அவனுக்கு எதிராகச் செய்பவனாகவும், ஆட்டைப் பலிசெலுத்துபவன் தனக்கு நாயைப்போல விசுவாசமாக உழைப்பவனுக்கு கழுத்தறுப்பதுபோல துரோகம் செய்பவனாகவும், காணிக்கை செலுத்துபவன் அருவருப்பான பன்றியின்  இரத்தத்தைக்  காணிக்கை செலுத்துவதுபோல அருவருப்பான தவறான வழிகளில் சம்பாதித்த பணத்தைத் தேவனுக்கென்று காணிக்கை செலுத்துபவனாகவும், தேவனுக்கு ஆராதனை செய்கிறேன் என்று கூறிக்கொள்பவன் விக்கிரக ஆராதனை செய்பவனாகவும்  இருக்கிறான் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் தொடர்நது கூறுகின்றது, "இவர்கள் தங்கள் வழிகளையே தெரிந்துகொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; இவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா தங்கள் அருவருப்புகளின்மேல் விருப்பமாயிருக்கிறது" என்று. அதாவது இவர்களிடம் யாரும் இப்படிச் செய் என்று கூறாமல் அவர்களாகவே இப்படிச் செய்கிறார்கள். அவர்களது இயற்கைக் குணமே  அவர்களை இப்படிச் செய்ய வைக்கின்றது. அப்படிச் செய்வதில் அவர்கள் விருப்பமுள்ளவர்களாகவும் இருக்கின்றார்கள். 

பலிகளும் ஆராதனைகளும் காணிக்கைகளையும் செலுத்தும் நாம் இப்படிப் பிற  மனிதர்களை நமது பேச்சினாலும் செயல்களாலும் கொல்லுகிறவர்களாகவும், நாயைப் போல நமக்கு விசுவாசமாக இருப்பவர்களுக்கு துரோகமாக  கழுத்தறுக்கிறவர்களாகவும், பன்றி இரத்தத்தைப் போல அசுத்தமானவற்றை தேவனுக்கு காணிக்கை என படைக்கிறவர்களாகவும், பொருளாசை எனும்   விக்கிரகத்தை ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கிறவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றோமா என்பதனை எண்ணிப்பார்ப்போம். அப்படிச் செய்துகொண்டிருப்போமானால் நம்மை இனியாவது திருத்திக்கொள்வோம்.  

இப்படி மக்களுக்கு அறிவுறுத்தும் தேவனுடைய மேலான வார்த்தைகளை பல்வேறுமுறைக் கேட்டும் தங்களைத் திருத்திக்கொள்ள விருப்பமில்லாத மக்களைப் பார்த்துத் தொடர்ந்து அடுத்த வசனத்தில் தேவன் கூறுகின்றார், "நான் கூப்பிட்டும் மறுஉத்தரவு கொடுக்கிறவனில்லாமலும், நான் பேசியும் அவர்கள் கேளாமலும், அவர்கள் என் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து, நான் விரும்பாததைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டதினிமித்தம், நானும் அவர்களுடைய ஆபத்தைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, திகில்களை அவர்கள்மேல் வரப்பண்ணுவேன்." ( ஏசாயா 66: 4)

தேவனையுடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து நமது தவறுகளைத் திருத்திக்கொள்வோம். தேவனுடைய பயங்கரம் நம்மேல் வராமல் காத்துக்கொள்வோம்.

AATHAVAN 💚 February 14, 2025 💚 Friday

"He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations." (Isaiah 66:3, KJV)

Today’s meditation verse speaks about people who live wicked lives yet offer sacrifices, offerings, and worship to God. This verse reveals that such wicked individuals continue to delight in their sinful ways despite their outward religious acts.

In the Old Testament, we read in the book of Leviticus about how people would slaughter sheep and oxen before God, sprinkling their blood to receive forgiveness for their sins. However, today’s meditation verse points to those who perform such rituals out of mere duty, without genuine repentance.

Though we no longer offer animal sacrifices today, we have received something far greater—the precious blood of Christ, which has redeemed our souls. Therefore, when we worship before God or bring large offerings to the church, this verse reminds us to examine ourselves and correct our ways.

The verse illustrates that the one who kills an ox for sacrifice is like one who murders his fellow man; the one who offers a lamb is like one who betrays a loyal companion, as if cutting off a dog’s neck; the one who brings an offering is like one who presents swine’s blood, something detestable; and the one who burns incense is like one who worships an idol. In the same way, today’s meditation warns us against such hypocrisy.

The verse further states, "Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations." This means that no one forces them to act this way; it is their own nature that drives them. They willingly choose their sinful paths and take pleasure in their abominations.

As we offer sacrifices, worship, and bring offerings, let us examine ourselves: Are we, through our words and actions, like those who kill their fellow human beings? Are we betraying those who are loyal to us, as if cutting off a dog’s neck? Are we presenting unclean things to God, like swine’s blood? Are we worshipping the idol of greed? If we find ourselves in such a state, let us repent and correct our ways.

God’s Word continues to warn such people in the next verse: "I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not." (Isaiah 66:4, KJV)

Let us heed God’s Word, repent of our wrongdoings, and guard ourselves against His judgment.

"மரம் நல்லதென்றால், அதன் கனியும் நல்லதென்று சொல்லுங்கள்; மரம் கெட்டதென்றால், அதன் கனியும் கெட்டதென்று சொல்லுங்கள்; மரமானது அதன் கனியினால் அறியப்படும்." ( மத்தேயு 12 : 33 )

மனிதர்களைப்பற்றி நாம் அறிந்துகொள்ள அவர்களை மரங்களுக்கு ஒப்பிட்டு இயேசு கிறிஸ்து ஒரு உண்மையினை  விளக்குகின்றார். பொதுவாக நாம் மனிதர்களது  பேச்சு மற்றும் செயல்களைப்பார்த்து  ஒரு  சிலரை நல்லவர்கள் என்றும் சிலரைக் கெட்டவர்கள் என்றும் எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றோம். பல அரசியல்வாதிகள் மக்களை ஏமாற்றி வைத்திருப்பது இப்படித்தான். 

அரசியல்வாதிகள் பொதுவாகவே பொய்யின் பிறப்பிடமாக இருக்கின்றனர். ஆட்சியைப்பிடிக்க எந்த பொய்யையும் கூற அவர்கள் அஞ்சமாட்டார்கள். தங்கள் கூறுவதை நிறைவேற்ற முடியாது என்பது அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியும். ஆனாலும் கூறுவார்கள்.  உதாரணமாக, சமீபத்தில் ஒரு கட்சியினர் தேர்தல் பிரச்சாரத்தின்போது நாங்கள் ஆட்சிக்கு வந்தால் ஒவ்வொருவர் வங்கிக் கணக்கிலும் பதினைந்து லட்சம் செலுத்துவோம் என்று கூறினார்கள். இது முடியாத காரியம் என்றாலும் அவர்கள் சொன்னார்கள். அறிவில்லாத மக்களும் நம்பினார்கள். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நல்லவர்கள்போல பேசும் எல்லோரும் நல்லவர்களல்ல. அவர்களது செயல்பாடாகிய கனிகள்தான் அவர்கள் நல்லவர்களா கெட்டவர்களா என்பதனை வெளிப்படுத்தும். மரமானது அதன் கனியினால் அறியப்படும். ஆட்சிக்கு வந்தபின்னர் அரசியல்வாதிகளது அவலட்சணமான கனிகள் உலகுக்குத் தெரியவருகின்றன. 

அரசியலில் மட்டுமல்ல, நமது குடும்பங்களிலும் நாம் பணி  செய்யும் இடங்களிலும் இத்தகைய மனிதர்களைப் பார்க்கலாம். தேவனுக்கு ஊழியம் செய்யும் ஊழியர்களிடையேயும் இத்தகைய மனிதர்களைப் பார்க்கலாம். அழகான கவர்ச்சிகரமான பிரசங்கம் செய்யும் எல்லோரும் நல்லவர்களாக இருப்பதில்லை. அவர்கள் வெளிக்காட்டும் பண்புகளே அவர்களது உண்மைத் தன்மையினை உலகுக்கு உணர்த்தும்.

நாம் உலகினில் எல்லா மனிதர்களையும் தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் அறிந்து அவர்களைக் கணிக்க முடியாவிட்டாலும் பொது வாழ்க்கையில் இருக்கும் மனிதர்களையாவது அவர்களது செயல்களைப்பார்த்து நாம் கணிக்கமுடியும். ஆனால் இன்று மக்கள் பொதுவாகவே யாருக்கு அதிக மக்கள் ஆதரவு இருக்கின்றதோ அவர்களை நல்லவர்கள் என்று எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர்.  இப்படித்தான் இன்றைய இளைஞர்கள் நடிகர்கள் திரைப்படத்தில் நடிப்பது உண்மையென நம்பி  அவர்களை நல்லவர்கள் என்று எண்ணி அவர்கள்பின் ஓடுகின்றனர்.

"நல்லமரம் கெட்டகனிகளைக் கொடுக்கமாட்டாது; கெட்டமரம் நல்லகனிகளைக் கொடுக்கமாட்டாது." ( மத்தேயு 7: 18) என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. கிறிஸ்துவோடு நாம் ஒட்டவைக்கப்படும்போதுதான் நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் பண்புகளைக் கொண்டவர்களாக வாழ முடியும். நமது வேர் கிறிஸ்துவோடு இணைக்கப்பட்டுப் பரிசுத்தமாக இருக்குமானால் மட்டுமே நாம் பரிசுத்தமாக இருக்க முடியும்; நல்ல கனிகளை நாம் கொடுக்கிறவர்களாக வாழமுடியும். ஆம், "வேரானது பரிசுத்தமாயிருந்தால், கிளைகளும் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்." ( ரோமர் 11 : 16 )

எனவே நாம் சுயமாக முடிவெடுத்துச் சிலரது செயல்களைப் பார்த்து நல்லவர்கள், கெட்டவர்கள் என்று முடிவெடுக்காமல் அவர்கள் வெளிப்படுத்தும் கனிகளைக் கவனித்துப்பார்ப்போம். மரம் நல்லதென்றால், அதன் கனியும் நல்லதாக இருக்கும். மரம் கெட்டதென்றால், அதன் கனியும் கெட்டதாகவே இருக்கும். ஒரு மனிதனது வேரானது கிறிஸ்துவோடு இணைந்து பரிசுத்தமாயிருந்தால், கிளைகளும் அவனிலிருந்து வெளிப்படும் கனிகளும் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்.

மற்றவர்களும் அரசியல்வாதிகளும் மட்டுமல்ல, நாமும் நல்ல கனி கொடுப்பவர்களாக மாறவேண்டுமானால் கிறிஸ்துவோடு நம்மை இணைக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். இல்லையானால் மற்றவர்களை குறைகூறும் நாமும் நல்ல கனிகொடுக்க முடியாது.  "நானே திராட்சைச்செடி, நீங்கள் கொடிகள். ஒருவன் என்னிலும் நான் அவனிலும் நிலைத்திருந்தால், அவன் மிகுந்த கனிகளைக் கொடுப்பான்; என்னையல்லாமல் உங்களால் ஒன்றும் செய்யக்கூடாது." ( யோவான் 15: 5) என்கிறார் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. கிறிஸ்துவோடு நம்மை இணைத்து உலகுக்குக்  கனிகொடுப்பவர்களாக வாழ முயற்சியெடுப்போம்.

Scripture Meditation - No: 1,468

"Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit." (Matthew 12:33)

Jesus Christ explains a profound truth by comparing people to trees. Generally, we judge people as good or bad based on their words and actions. Many politicians deceive people in this way.

Politicians are often the birthplace of lies. They will not hesitate to say anything to win power. Even when they know they cannot fulfil their promises, they still make them. For example, during a recent election campaign, a political party promised to deposit ₹1.5 million in every citizen’s bank account if they came to power. Although this was an impossible promise, people believed it.

Yes, beloved, not everyone who speaks well is truly good. Their actions—their fruits—reveal their true nature. "For the tree is known by his fruit." (Matthew 12:33). After coming to power, the wicked fruits of politicians become evident to the world.

This truth is not limited to politics; we see such people in our families, workplaces, and even among those who serve God. Not all who deliver eloquent sermons are righteous. Their true nature is revealed by their deeds.

Though we may not be able to judge every individual in the world, we can discern public figures by their actions. However, today, people tend to judge others based on their popularity rather than their deeds. Many youths blindly follow actors, believing that what they portray in movies is real.

Jesus Christ said, "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit." (Matthew 7:18). Only when we are connected to Christ can we bear Christ-like virtues. If our roots are firmly established in Christ and holiness, we will also live a holy life and bear good fruit. "For if the root be holy, so are the branches." (Romans 11:16).

Therefore, instead of hastily judging people as good or bad based on mere appearances, let us examine the fruits they produce. A good tree will bear good fruit, and a corrupt tree will bear corrupt fruit. If a man’s root is connected to Christ in holiness, then his branches and the fruits he bears will also be holy.

It is not just about others or politicians—if we want to bear good fruit, we must be connected to Christ. Otherwise, even we who criticize others will fail to bear good fruit. Jesus Christ said, "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." (John 15:5). Let us connect ourselves with Christ and strive to bear good fruits for the world.
