🦋 Meditation verse - நீதிமொழிகள் 16 : 7 / Proverbs 16:7

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1618                                          ஆதவன் 13.07.2025 ஞாயிறு        

"ஒருவனுடைய வழிகள் கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரியமாயிருந்தால், அவனுடைய சத்துருக்களும் அவனோடே சமாதானமாகும்படிச்  செய்வார்." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 16 : 7 )

இந்த உலகத்தில் பலவேளைகளில் மனிதர்கள்  தங்களுக்கு  ஏதாவது காரியங்களில் எதிர்த்துச் செயல்படுபவர்களை தாங்களும் எதிர்த்துப் போராடுபவர்களாக இருக்கின்றார்கள். பல வேளைகளில் தங்கள்பக்கத்து நியாயத்தை உறுதிப்படுத்துவதில் நிலையாக நின்று தங்களை நியாயப்படுத்த முயல்கின்றனரேத் தவிர பெரும்பாலும் சமாதானம்செய்ய விரும்புவதில்லை. 

எனவே வழக்குகள் வாதுகள் ஏற்படும்போது தங்கள் பக்கத்துக்கு சார்பான மக்களைத் தேடி அவர்களது உதவியை நாடுவதிலும் நீதிமன்றங்களை நாடுவதிலும்தான் குறியாக இருக்கின்றனர்.  நீதிமன்றங்களில் பதிவாகும் வழக்குகள் இதனையே உணர்த்துகின்றன. கழிந்த ஒரு ஆண்டில் மட்டும் இந்திய நீதிமன்றங்களில் பதிவுசெய்யப்பட்ட மொத்த வழக்குகள் 1,74,10,342. இவற்றில்  சிவில் வழக்குகள் - 45,86,004, கிரிமினல் வழக்குகள் - 1,28,24,338. 

அப்படியானால் இந்த வழக்குகளுக்காக செலவழிக்கப்படும் பணம் எத்தனை ஆயிரம் கோடிகளாக இருக்குமென்று எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள். நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தனது பிள்ளைகள் நீதிமன்றங்களுக்குச் செல்வதை விரும்புவதில்லை. அப்படிச் செல்லும்போது நமக்குப் பணச் செலவும் மன உளைச்சலும்தான் ஏற்படும். அப்படிச் செல்லும்போது "நீ கடைசிக்காசைக் கொடுத்துத் தீர்க்குமட்டும், அவ்விடத்திலிருந்து புறப்படமாட்டாய் என்று உனக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார்." ( லுூக்கா 12 : 59 ) இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. 

இன்று பல கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் எதிராளிகளின்மேல் நீதிமன்றங்களில் வழக்குத் தொடுத்துவிட்டு அந்த வழக்கில் வெற்றிபெறவேண்டுமென்று ஜெபித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள். அதாவது அவர்கள் தேவனை ஒருபுறமும் சுய பலத்தை மறுபுறமும் நம்பிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். 

அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றைய தியான வசனம், நாம் நமக்கு எதிராகச் செயல்படுபவர்களுக்கு எதிராக செயல்படுவதற்குப்பதில் நமது வழிகளை தேவனுக்கு நேராகத் திருப்பினாலே போதும் எதிரிகள் நமக்குமுன் சமாதானமாவார்கள் என்று கூறுகின்றது. அதனையே, "ஒருவனுடைய வழிகள் கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரியமாயிருந்தால், அவனுடைய சத்துருக்களும் அவனோடே சமாதானமாகும்படி செய்வார்." என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

இதற்கு வேதத்தில் பல உதாரணங்கள் உண்டு. யோசேப்பு ஒரு நல்ல உதாரணம். அவனது உடன்பிறந்த சகோதரர்கள் அனைவரும் அவனை எதிரியாகப் பார்த்தனர். அவனுக்கு எதிராக கொலைமுயற்சியில் ஈடுபட்டு இறுதியில் இஸ்மவேலரிடம் இருபது வெள்ளிக்காசுக்கு விற்றுவிட்டனர். ஆனால் யோசேப்பு தேவனுக்கு உகந்த வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்ததால் "கர்த்தர் யோசேப்போடே இருந்தார்." (ஆதியாகமம் 39:2)  இறுதியில் அவனது சகோதர்கள் அவனிடம் வந்து மண்டியிட்டு வணங்கும்படி தேவன் செய்தார். 

இதுபோல, யாக்கோபும் ஏசாவும்  பகைகொண்டிருந்தனர். இறுதியில் ஏசா யாக்கோபோடு சமாதானம் ஆகும்படி தேவன் கிருபை செய்தார். கைதியாகி அடிமையாக பாபிலோனுக்குக் கொண்டுசெல்லப்பட்ட தானியேலை எதிரி நாட்டு தரியு அரசனுக்கு நண்பனாக தேவன் மாற்றினார். "ராஜ்யம் முழுவதையும் ஆளும்படிக்குத் தன் ராஜ்யத்தின்மேல் நூற்றிருபது தேசாதிபதிகளையும், ராஜாவுக்கு நஷ்டம் வராதபடிக்கு அந்த தேசாதிபதிகள் கணக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கிறதற்காக அவர்களுக்கு மேலாக மூன்று பிரதானிகளையும் ஏற்படுத்துவது தரியுவுக்கு நலமென்று கண்டது; இவர்களில் தானியேல் ஒருவனாயிருந்தான்." ( தானியேல் 6 : 1, 2 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது வழிகள் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்றவையாக இருக்குமானால் நமது எதிரிகள் நமக்குமுன் சமாதானமாவார்கள். எப்படி நடந்தது என்று நமக்குத் தெரியாது. ஆனால் தேவனே நமக்கு எதிராகச் செயல்படுபவர்களது உள்ளத்தில் மாறுதலைக் கொண்டுவருவார். இதற்கு  மாறாக நாம் நமது சுய பலத்தையும் பண பலத்தையும் கொண்டு எதிரிகளை எதிர்த்து நிற்போமானால் தேவன் ஒதுங்கிக்கொள்வார்; நாம் நமது பலத்தில்தான் முயலவேண்டியிருக்கும். 

இன்றைய தியானத்தை வாசிக்கும்போது சிலருக்கு நான் வெற்று வேதாந்தம் பேசுவதுபோலத் தோன்றலாம். ஆனால், நான் எனது சொந்த அனுபவமில்லாமல் எதனையும் எழுதுவதில்லை. வசனங்களுக்கு நாம் கீழ்ப்படியும்போதுதான் வேதத்தில்  கூறப்பட்டுள்ள காரியங்களை நாம் அனுபவத்தில் கண்டுணர முடியும். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது வழிகளை தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமான வழிகளாக மாற்றுவோம். அப்போது நமது  சத்துருக்களும் நம்மோடு சமாதானமாகும்படி தேவன் செய்வதை நமது வாழ்வில் கண்டுணர முடியும்.

AATHAVAN – Sunday, 13.07.2025

"When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him." — Proverbs 16:7 (KJV)

In this world, many people often respond to opposition with confrontation. Instead of seeking peace, they become determined to prove their own righteousness and justify themselves at any cost. Rarely do people genuinely desire reconciliation.

As a result, when disputes arise, people usually turn to those who support their side, seeking assistance from acquaintances, advocates, or the court system. The volume of cases registered in our judicial system reflects this mindset. In just one-year, Indian courts registered a total of 17,410,342 cases — 4,586,004 civil cases and 12,824,338 criminal cases.

Now imagine how many thousands of crores are spent on these litigations! Our Lord Jesus Christ does not delight in His children going to court. When they do, they incur not only financial loss but also mental stress. Jesus said,

"Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite." — Luke 12:59 (KJV)

Today, many Christians file lawsuits against their adversaries and then pray to win the case. In doing so, they place their trust partially in God and partially in their own strength.

Dearly beloved, today’s meditation verse teaches us that if we simply turn our ways to please God, He Himself will cause our enemies to be at peace with us. That’s exactly what the Scripture says: "When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him." — Proverbs 16:7 (KJV)

The Bible gives us many examples of this truth. Joseph is a prime example. His own brothers saw him as an enemy. They conspired to kill him, and eventually sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty pieces of silver. But Joseph lived a life pleasing to God, and the Bible says: "And the Lord was with Joseph." — Genesis 39:2 (KJV) In the end, God caused his brothers to come and bow before him in humility.

Similarly, Jacob and Esau were enemies. But God showed mercy and brought reconciliation between them. Daniel, who was taken as a prisoner and slave to Babylon, was made a friend and chief administrator under King Darius — a ruler of a foreign land. "It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes… and over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first." — Daniel 6:1–2 (KJV)

Yes, beloved, if our ways are pleasing to God, He will cause even our enemies to be at peace with us. We may not understand how it happens, but God Himself will bring change in the hearts of those who oppose us.

On the other hand, if we rely on our own strength and wealth to fight our enemies, then God will step aside and leave us to handle it on our own.

Some of you may feel that what I’m saying is just empty spiritual talk. But I never write without personal experience. Only when we obey the Word can we truly experience the reality of what is written in Scripture.

So, dearly beloved, let us turn our ways into ways that are pleasing to God. Then we will experience how God makes even our enemies to be at peace with us.

🦋 Meditation verse - பிரசங்கி 12:7 / Ecclesiastes 12:7

"விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1617                                          ஆதவன் 12.07.2025 சனி       

"மண்ணானது தான் முன்னிருந்த பூமிக்குத் திரும்பி, ஆவி தன்னைத் தந்த தேவனிடத்திற்கு மறுபடியும் போகாததற்கு முன்னும், அவரை உன் வாலிபப்பிராயத்திலே நினை". ( பிரசங்கி 12:7)

தேவன் தந்த நமது மனித உடல் மண்ணினால் உருவானது. இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் வாழ்வதற்குக் குறிக்கப்பட்டக் காலத்துக்குப்பின் இந்த மண்ணான உடல் தான் முன்பிருந்த மண்ணுக்கேத் திரும்புகின்றது. அதுபோலவே   இந்த உடலிலினுள் இருக்கும் ஆவியானது தேவன் நமக்குத் தந்தது. அது இந்த உலக வாழ்க்கைக்குப்பின் அவரிடமே திரும்பிச் செல்லும். அப்படிச் செல்வது மட்டுமல்ல, இந்த உலகத்தில் செய்த பாவ புண்ணியங்களுக்கேற்ப பிரதிபலனை அடையும். 

ஆனால் மனிதர்கள் பலரும் இதனை உணர்வதில்லை. இந்த உலக வாழ்வே நிரந்தரம் என்று எண்ணி வாழ்கின்றனர். ஆனால் நாம் இந்த உலகினில் வெறும் பரதேசிகள் என்று வேதம் கூறுகின்றது. பரதேசி என்பவன் சொந்த குடியிருப்பு இல்லாதவன். ஆம், இந்த உலகம் நமது சொந்த குடியிருப்பு அல்ல. எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு, "அன்றியும், பட்சபாதமில்லாமல் அவனவனுடைய கிரியைகளின்படி நியாயந்தீர்க்கிறவரை நீங்கள் பிதாவாகத் தொழுதுகொண்டுவருகிறபடியால், இங்கே பரதேசிகளாய்ச் சஞ்சரிக்குமளவும் பயத்துடனே நடந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்." ( 1 பேதுரு 1 : 17 ) என்று அறிவுரை கூறுகின்றார். 

பலரும் வயதானபின்பு நாம் தேவனைத் தேடினால் போதும் என எண்ணுகின்றனர். ஜெபம், வேத வாசிப்பு, ஆராதனை இவைகளெல்லாம் வயதானபின்னர் செய்யவேண்டிய காரியங்கள் என எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். ஆனால் இன்றைய தியான வசனம், "மண்ணானது தான் முன்னிருந்த பூமிக்குத் திரும்பி, ஆவி தன்னைத் தந்த தேவனிடத்திற்கு மறுபடியும் போகாததற்குமுன்னும், அவரை உன் வாலிபப்பிராயத்திலே நினை" என்று நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. காரணம் நமது உலக வாழ்க்கை என்று முடியுமென்று நமக்குத் தெரியாது. எல்லோரும் முதிர் வயதுவரை உயிர்வாழப்போவதில்லை. எனவேதான், வாலிபப்பிராயத்திலே தேவனை நினை என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

மேலும், வாலிப வயது எளிதாகக் கடந்து சென்றுவிடும். நாம் விரும்பினாலும் இழந்துபோன இளமை நமக்குத் திரும்பக் கிடைக்காது. ஆம்,  "நீ உன் இருதயத்திலிருந்து சஞ்சலத்தையும், உன் மாம்சத்திலிருந்து தீங்கையும் நீக்கிப்போடு; இளவயதும் வாலிபமும் மாயையே."  ( பிரசங்கி 11:10) எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் மாயையை நம்பி நிஜத்தைத் தொலைத்துவிடக்கூடாது. 

இன்றைய நவீன உலகினில் வாலிபர்களைப் பாவத்தில் வீழ்த்தக்கூடிய பல்வேறு வலைகள் விரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. வாலிப ஆண்களும் பெண்களும் தங்களை அறியாமல் நவீன கலாச்சாரத்தால் இழுக்கப்பட்டு வலைத்தளங்களுக்கு அடிமையாகி வாழ்க்கையைத் தொலைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். தேவனை நாம் வாழ்வில் பற்றிகொள்ளவில்லையானால் இந்தக் கவர்ச்சியான உலக காரியங்களிலிருந்து விடுபடமுடியாது. எனவே, பெற்றோர்களும் தங்கள் வாலிப பிள்ளைகளுக்காக ஜெபிக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

மட்டுமல்ல, வாலிபர்கள் தங்கள் வழியினை தேவனுக்கேற்றபடி மாற்றிக்கொள்ளவேண்டுமானால் தேவனது வார்த்தைகள் வாலிப இருதயங்களில் சிறு வயதுமுதல் விதைக்கப்படவேண்டியது அவசியம். "வாலிபன் தன் வழியை எதனால் சுத்தம்பண்ணுவான்? உமது வசனத்தின்படி தன்னைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறதினால் தானே." ( சங்கீதம் 119 : 9 ) என்று சங்கீத ஆசிரியர் கூறுவதன்படி தேவ வசனத்தின்படி வாலிபர்கள் தங்களைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

ஆம் அன்பான சகோதர சகோதரிகளே, வாலிபர்களே, பெற்றோர்களே,  "ஒவ்வொரு கிரியையையும், அந்தரங்கமான ஒவ்வொரு காரியத்தையும் நன்மையானாலும் தீமையானாலும், தேவன் நியாயத்திலே கொண்டுவருவார்." ( பிரசங்கி 12:14) எனவே வாலிப வயதுமுதல் வேத வெளிச்சத்தில் எச்சரிக்கையுடன் வாழ்க்கையைத் தொடர்வோம்.

"Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." (Ecclesiastes 12:7, KJV)

The human body given to us by God is made from the dust of the earth. After the appointed time for us to live in this world, this body of dust will return to the earth from which it came. In the same way, the spirit within this body was given to us by God. After our earthly life ends, it will return to Him. Not only will it return to God, but it will also receive a reward or judgment according to the sins and righteous deeds done in this world.

However, many people fail to realize this truth. They live as though this worldly life is permanent. But the Bible reminds us that we are merely strangers and pilgrims in this world. A pilgrim is someone who does not have a permanent dwelling. Yes, this world is not our permanent home. That is why the apostle Peter exhorts us:

"And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:" (1 Peter 1:17, KJV)

Many people think it is enough to seek God in old age. They assume that prayer, Bible reading, and worship are matters to attend to after they grow old. But today’s meditation verse warns us:

"Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." — before this happens — "Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth." (Ecclesiastes 12:7a, 12:1a, KJV)

Why? Because we do not know when our earthly life will end. Not everyone will live to old age. That is why the command is to remember the Creator in the days of our youth.

Moreover, youth passes by swiftly. Even if we desire to, we cannot retrieve our lost youth. Yes,

"Therefore, remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity." (Ecclesiastes 11:10, KJV)

Beloved, we must not lose the truth by trusting in this fleeting vanity.

In today’s modern world, many nets have been cast to trap young people in sin. Without even realizing it, young men and women are being drawn into destructive lifestyles under the guise of modern culture and becoming slaves to harmful online influences. If we do not cling to God in our lives, we will not be able to escape from the allure of worldly things. Therefore, it is essential that parents pray earnestly for their young children.

More than that, if young people are to change their ways to align with God's will, the Word of God must be sown into their hearts from childhood. As the Psalmist says:

"Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word." (Psalm 119:9, KJV)

Indeed, young people must guard themselves according to the Word of God.

So, dear brothers and sisters, young people, and parents—

"For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." (Ecclesiastes 12:14, KJV)

Let us therefore continue our journey from youth onward with caution, in the light of God’s Word.

🦋 Meditation verse - லுூக்கா 17 : 10 / Luke 17:10

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1616                                          ஆதவன் 11.07.2025 வெள்ளி      

"அப்படியே நீங்களும் உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடப்பட்ட யாவற்றையும் செய்தபின்பு: நாங்கள் அப்பிரயோஜனமான ஊழியக்காரர், செய்யவேண்டிய கடமையைமாத்திரம் செய்தோம்என்று சொல்லுங்கள்." ( லுூக்கா 17 : 10 )

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இங்கு ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் தேவ ஊழியர்கள்  கடைபிடிக்கவேண்டிய முக்கியமான குணத்தைப்பற்றிக்  குறிப்பிடுகின்றர். இது ஊழியர்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்ட  அறிவுரையாக இருந்தாலும் நாம்  அனைவருமே    வாழ்வில்  பின்பற்றவேண்டிய   ஒரு பண்பு.  அதாவது  தாங்கள் வாங்கும் சம்பளத்துக்கு வேலைசெய்துவிட்டுப் பலர்     அதனைப்  பெரிதாக  விளம்பரப் படுத்துவதுண்டு.   ஆனால்    அப்படிச்   செய்வது          தேவனுக்கு              ஏற்புடைய   செயலல்ல   என்று    கிறிஸ்து   குறிப்பிடுகின்றார்.    உலக வேலையோ தேவனுடைய வேலையோ நாம் இப்படி நம்மை விளம்பரப்படுத்தத் தேவையில்லை. 

வேலைக்காரனது பணி தனது எஜமான் கட்டளையிட்ட வேலைகளைச் செய்து முடிப்பதுதான். எந்த எஜமானும் தனது பணியாளனை வேலைக்காரனாகப் பார்ப்பானேத்தவிர  அவன் தனக்கு உதவுவதால் அவனைத் தனது நண்பனாகப் பார்க்கமாட்டான். அதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து,  "உங்களில் ஒருவனுடைய ஊழியக்காரன் உழுது அல்லது மந்தைமேய்த்து வரும்போது எஜமான் அவனை நோக்கி நீ முன்பு போய்ச் சாப்பிட்டுவா என்று அவனுக்குச் சொல்வானோ?" (லூக்கா 17:7) என்று கூறுகின்றார்.  

மேலும் "தான் கட்டளையிட்டவைகளை அந்த வேலைக்காரன் செய்ததற்காக அவனுக்கு உபகாரம் செய்வானோ? அப்படிச் செய்யமாட்டானே" (லூக்கா 17:9)  ஆம், வேலைக்காரனது  வேலை எஜமான் கட்டளையிட்டவைகளைச் செய்து முடிப்பது. அப்படிச் செய்து முடித்ததற்காக வேலைக்காரன் பெருமைபட்டுக்கொள்ள வேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை. எனவே, "அப்படியே நீங்களும் உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்ட யாவற்றையும் செய்தபின்பு; நாங்கள் அப்பிரயோஜனமான ஊழியக்காரர், செய்ய வேண்டிய கடமையை மாத்திரம் செய்தோம் என்று சொல்லுங்கள்" (லூக்கா 17:10)  என்கின்றார்.

அதாவது நாம் தேவனது ஊழியங்களுக்காகச் செய்யும் செயல்கள் குறித்து நாம் பெருமைப்படவேண்டியது ஒன்றுமேயில்லை. அது நமது கடமை.  இதில் நாம் கவனிக்கவேண்டியது ஒன்று உண்டு. அதாவது,  வேலைக்காரன் செய்த வேலைக்கு கைமாறாக எஜமான் அவனுக்கு நியமிக்கபட்டக் கூலியைக் கொடுப்பான். ஆனால்   நமது பரலோக எஜமான் தனது ஊழியர்களைக்  கூலிக்காரனாக அல்ல, மாறாக மதிப்புமிக்கவர்களாகக் கருதுகின்றார். 

எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "ஒருவன் எனக்கு ஊழியம்செய்தால் பிதாவானவர் அவனைக் கனம் பண்ணுவார்". எஜமானின் விருப்பம், சித்தம் இன்னது என்று அறிந்து ஊழியம் செய்யும்போது கனம் பண்ணுவார், தேவ சித்தம் அறியாமல் அதற்கு எதிராகச் செயல்படும்போது அவர் நம்மைக் கைவிட்டுவிடுவார்.  

இன்று எஜமான் கூலியைக் கொடுப்பான் எனும் நம்பிக்கை பல கிறிஸ்தவ ஊழியர்களிடமும் இல்லை; அவர்கள் எஜமான்  விரும்பும் சித்தப்படியான   வேலையும் பலர்  செய்வதில்லை.  எனவே , குறுக்கு வழியில் தங்களை நம்பி வரும் விசுவாசிகளிடம் பல்வேறு தந்திர உபாயங்களைப் பயன்படுத்தி தங்கள் பிழைப்பை நடத்த முயலுகின்றனர்.

அன்பானவர்களே, ஊழியம் செய்பவர்கள் மட்டுமல்ல, நாம் இன்று உலக வேலைகள் செய்தாலும் நாம் கடைபிடிக்கவேண்டிய  இந்த குணம் நமக்கு வேண்டும்.  செய்யக்கூடிய வேலையை நாம் வாங்கும் சம்பளத்துக்கு வஞ்சனை இல்லாமல் செய்யவேண்டும்.   எனவேதான்   அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல்,  "எதைச் செய்தாலும், அதை மனுஷர்களுக்கென்று செய்யாமல்,கர்த்தருக்கென்றே மனப்பூர்வமாய்ச் செய்யுங்கள்."( கொலோசெயர் 3 : 24 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

இப்படி உண்மையாய் பணி செய்யும்போது நிச்சயமாக தேவனது பார்வையிலும் மனிதர்களது பார்வையிலும் நாம் மதிப்பு மிக்கவர்களாக விளங்குவோம்.  "வேலைக்காரரே, சரீரத்தின்படி உங்கள் எஜமான்களாயிருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு எல்லாக்காரியத்திலேயும் கீழ்ப்படிந்து, நீங்கள் மனுஷருக்குப் பிரியமாயிருக்க விரும்புகிறவர்களாகப் பார்வைக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்யாமல், தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவர்களாகக் கபடமில்லாத இருதயத்தோடே ஊழியஞ்செய்யுங்கள்." ( கொலோசெயர் 3 : 22 ) என்று வேதம் அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. 

"வேலைக்காரரே, அதிக பயத்துடனே உங்கள் எஜமான்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்திருங்கள்; நல்லவர்களுக்கும், சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களுக்கும் மாத்திரம் அல்ல, முரட்டுக்குணமுள்ளவர்களுக்கும் கீழ்ப்படிந்திருங்கள்." ( 1 பேதுரு 2 : 18 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கிறிஸ்த ஊழியர்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்ட வசனமாக இருந்தாலும், உலக வேலைகளிலும் நாம் இதனைப் பின்பற்றும்போது உயர்வடைவது உறுதி. ஊழியத்தில், உலக காரியங்களிலும் நமக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள பணியை உண்மையுடனும் உத்தம மனதுடனும் செய்வோம்.

Scripture Meditation No – 1616

AATHAVAN | Friday, 11.07.2025

“So likewise, ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.” (Luke 17:10, KJV)

In this verse, Jesus Christ points to a vital attitude that spiritual workers must cultivate. Though this is spoken to His servants, it applies to all of us in our daily lives.

Many people perform their duties and then advertise them as extraordinary achievements, especially when they feel they’ve earned their wages. But Christ clearly teaches that such boasting is not pleasing to God. Whether it is secular work or God’s ministry, we do not need to promote ourselves.

A servant’s responsibility is simply to fulfil the duties assigned by the master. No master treats a servant as a friend merely because the servant fulfils his duties. Jesus says,

“But which of you, having a servant ploughing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?” (Luke 17:7)

“Doth, he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.” (Luke 17:9)

Yes, a servant’s job is to carry out what the master has commanded. Once done, there is no room for pride. Therefore, Jesus instructs:

“So likewise, ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, we are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.” (Luke 17:10)

This means that we must not boast about our ministry or service to God. It is simply our duty. Yet we should note one important truth here: while an earthly master may give wages to his servant, our Heavenly Master does not treat His servants as mere hirelings—He esteems them highly.

That is why Jesus said:

“If any man serve me, him will my Father honour.” (John 12:26, KJV)

When we serve with a heart that seeks to know and do the will of the Master, He will surely honour us. But when we act contrary to His will, without seeking it, He will withdraw His favour.

Sadly today, many Christian workers lack this trust in their Master’s reward. They do not seek or obey His will sincerely. Instead, some resort to clever manipulations to sustain themselves, exploiting the trust of believers who follow them.

Beloved, this principle is not just for ministers. Even in secular jobs, this attitude is essential. We must work faithfully for the wages we receive, without deceit. That’s why Apostle Paul says:

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;” (Colossians 3:23, KJV)

When we work faithfully and sincerely, we will be honored—both in God’s sight and in the sight of people.

“Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as men pleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God.” (Colossians 3:22, KJV)

“Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.” (1 Peter 2:18, KJV)

Yes, beloved, though today’s meditation may seem directed toward Christian workers, the same principle applies to us all in our worldly work. When we carry out our responsibilities sincerely and uprightly—whether in ministry or daily life—honour and promotion are assured.

Let us therefore serve in truth and with a pure heart in every task entrusted to us.

🦋 Meditation verse - எரேமியா 17 : 5 / Jeremiah 17:5

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1615                                          ஆதவன் 10.07.2025 வியாழன்     

"மனுஷன்மேல் நம்பிக்கை வைத்து, மாம்சமானதைத் தன் புயபலமாக்கிக்கொண்டு, கர்த்தரை விட்டு விலகுகிற இருதயமுள்ள மனுஷன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்." ( எரேமியா 17 : 5 )

கர்த்தரைத் தேடாமல்  தனது சுய பலத்திலும் தனக்கு உதவிசெய்யும் அதிகாரபலம் கொண்ட மனிதர்கள் இருப்பதால் அவர்கள் மேலும் நம்பிக்கைக்கொண்டு காட்டுக்கழுதை போன்ற வாழ்வு வாழும் மனிதர்கள் பலர் இந்த உலகத்தில் இருக்கின்றனர். இவர்கள் தங்களது உடல்பலம், பணபலம், ஆள்பலம்  இவற்றைக்கொண்டு எந்த அநியாயத்தையும் செய்யத் தயங்குவதில்லை. இப்படி வாழும் மனிதன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது.  

இது ஏனென்றால் இத்தகைய மனிதன் தனது நலனுக்காக எந்தத் துணிகர பாவ காரியத்தையும் செய்திடத் தயங்கமாட்டான்.  இன்று உலகினில் நாம் காணும் துன்மார்க்கச் செயல்கள் பலவும் இப்படிக் கர்த்தரைத் தேடாமல் வாழும் மனிதர்களால்தான் நடைபெறுகின்றன. துன்மார்க்கர்களுக்குத் துணையாக அரசியல்வாதிகளும், பணபலம் படைத்தவர்களும் பலவேளைகளில் இருக்கின்றனர். அவர்களது பலத்தால் துன்மார்க்கர்கள் துணிகரமாகத் தங்களது செயலைச் செய்து முடிக்கின்றனர். 

எனவேதான் இப்படிக் கர்த்தரை விட்டு விலகுகிற இருதயமுள்ள மனுஷன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். மனிதர்கள் பலவேளைகளில் இப்படித் துன்மார்க்கச் செயல்களில் ஈடுபடக் காரணம் எளிதில் பணம் சம்பாதித்துப் பணக்காரராகவேண்டும் எனும் எண்ணத்தில்தான். ஆனால் இத்தகைய மனிதர்கள் தங்களது ஆத்துமாக்களை அக்கினி நரகத்துக்கு இரையாக்குகின்றனர். 

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் குறுகிய எண்ணமுடன் எளிதில் சாதிக்கவேண்டும் எனும் எண்ணம் கொள்ளும்போது பல்வேறு தேவனுக்கு ஏற்பில்லாத செயல்களில் நம்மை அறியாமல் ஈடுபட்டுவிடுகின்றோம். 

ஆனால் நாம் சங்கீத நூலில்,  "யாக்கோபின் தேவனைத் தன் துணையாகக் கொண்டிருந்து, தன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையை வைக்கிறவன் பாக்கியவான்." ( சங்கீதம் 146 : 5 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். "கர்த்தர்மேல் நம்பிக்கைகொண்டிருப்பவன் செல்வந்தனாவான்"  என்று இந்த வசனம் கூறவில்லை. மாறாக, "அவன் பாக்கியவானாக இருப்பான்" என்று கூறுகின்றது. நாம் கர்த்தர்முன் பாக்யவான்களாக வாழ்வே அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். 

இப்படித் தேவனுக்குமுன் நாம் பாக்யவான்களாக வாழவேண்டுமானால் அவரது வேதம் நமது இருதயத்தில் ஊடுருவிச் செயல்படவேண்டும். "கர்த்தருடைய வேதத்தில் பிரியமாயிருந்து, இரவும் பகலும் அவருடைய வேதத்தில் தியானமாயிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான். அவன் நீர்க்கால்களின் ஓரமாய் நடப்பட்டு, தன் காலத்தில் தன் கனியைத் தந்து, இலையுதிராதிருக்கிற மரத்தைப்போலிருப்பான். அவன் செய்வதெல்லாம் வாய்க்கும்." ( சங்கீதம் 1 : 2-3 ) என்று வேதம் கூறுகின்றது. 

நீரோடையின் அருகில் வாழும் செழிப்பான மரம்போன்ற வாழ்வு வாழ  மனிதர்களோடு அல்ல, மாறாக நமது நம்பிக்கை வேர்கள் தேவனோடு இணைக்கப்படவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  இதற்குப் பெரிய ஆராய்ச்சித் தேவையில்லை. நமது வாழ்வில் நமது ஊர்களில் நமக்குத் தெரிந்த துன்மார்க்க வாழ்வு வாழ்ந்த மனிதர்களை எண்ணிப்பார்த்தாலே போதும்.  அவர்களது முடிவினையும் நாம் கண்டிருப்போம்.  வேத வசனம் ஒருபோதும் பொய்ச்சொல்வதில்லை. 

மனுஷன்மேல் நம்பிக்கை வைத்து, மாம்சமானதைத் நமது புயபலமாக்கிக்கொண்டு, கர்த்தரை விட்டு விலகிடாமல் தேவனையேத் துணையாகக் கொண்டு தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்மேல் நம்பிக்கை வைத்து  பாக்கியவான்களாக வாழ்வோம்.  அப்போது, நீர்க்கால்களின் ஓரமாய் நடப்பட்டு, தன் காலத்தில் தன் கனியைத் தந்து, இலையுதிராதிருக்கிற மரத்தைப்போலிருப்போம்; நாம்  செய்வதெல்லாம் வாய்க்கும்.

"Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord."— Jeremiah 17:5 (KJV)

There are many people in this world who, instead of seeking the Lord, put their trust in their own strength or in influential people who seem capable of helping them. Like a wild donkey wandering aimlessly, they live a self-driven life. Such individuals rely on their physical strength, wealth, or political power, and do not hesitate to commit injustice when it suits them.

Today’s meditation verse clearly states that such a man is cursed.

Why? Because a person like this, when focused on personal gain, will not hesitate to commit even the boldest of sins. The various evil and immoral deeds we see in today’s world are often carried out by those who have no regard for God. They are usually supported by powerful politicians or wealthy elites who enable and embolden them to carry out their wicked schemes.

That is why the Lord declares: "Cursed be the man... whose heart departeth from the Lord."

Often, the root of such wicked involvement is a desire for quick success and easy wealth. But these people are, in reality, leading their souls toward the fire of eternal damnation.

Dearly beloved, when we nurture a mindset that seeks shortcuts or quick success, we are easily drawn into actions that are displeasing to God—sometimes even unknowingly.

However, the Psalmist says, “Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God.” — Psalm 146:5 (KJV)

This verse doesn’t say, “He shall be rich,” but rather, “He shall be happy.”

We are called to live not just successful lives, but blessed lives before the Lord.

To live as blessed people in God's sight, His Word must penetrate and operate within our hearts. As the Scripture says, “But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditates day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” — Psalm 1:2–3 (KJV)

To live a flourishing life like a tree by the riverside, our trust should not be in human beings, but in God.

There is no need for deep research to realize this truth. Just think about the people you know in your own towns and neighbourhoods—those who have lived wicked lives. You've likely seen how their stories end.

The Word of God never lies.

Let us not place our trust in man or rely on the strength of the flesh. Let us not allow our hearts to turn away from the Lord. Instead, let us trust in the Lord our God and take Him as our strength and help. Then we shall be like the tree planted by rivers of water, bearing fruit in due season, whose leaf shall not wither—and whatsoever we do shall prosper.

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 யோவான் 3 : 24 / 1 John 3:24

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1614                                          ஆதவன் 09.07.2025 புதன்    

"அவருடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் அவரில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறான், அவரும் அவனில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறார்; அவர் நம்மில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறதை அவர் நமக்குத் தந்தருளின ஆவியினாலே அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்." ( 1 யோவான்  3 : 24 )

மற்றவர்கள் தேவனை வழிபடுவதற்கும் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு வாழும் ஒருவர் தேவனை வழிபடுவதற்கும் வித்தியாசம் உண்டு. மற்றவர்கள் தங்களது பாரம்பரியத்தில் தங்களது முன்னோர்கள் காட்டியுள்ள முறைமைகளின்படி வழிபடுகின்றனர். ஆனால் தேவனை ஆவிக்குரிய முறையில் வழிபடுபவர்கள் அவர் தங்களுக்குள் இருப்பதை உறுதியாக உணர்ந்து வழிபடுகின்றனர். 

இதனை நாம் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்கும் சமாரிய பெண்ணுக்குமிடையே  நடைபெற்ற உரையாடல்மூலம் தெளிவாக உணர்ந்துகொள்ளலாம். அந்தப் பெண் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம், "எங்கள் பிதாக்கள் இந்த மலையிலே தொழுதுகொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; நீங்கள் எருசலேமிலிருக்கிற ஸ்தலத்திலே தொழுதுகொள்ளவேண்டும் என்கிறீர்களே என்றாள்". ( யோவான் 4 : 20) அதாவது அவளது முன்னோர்கள் சொல்லிக்கொடுத்த முறை அதுதான். அந்த முறையில் அவள் தேவனை வழிபட்டுவந்தாள். 

"அதற்கு இயேசு: ஸ்திரீயே, நான் சொல்லுகிறதை நம்பு. நீங்கள் இந்த மலையிலும் எருசலேமிலும் மாத்திரமல்ல, எங்கும் பிதாவைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்காலம் வருகிறது. நீங்கள் அறியாததைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறீர்கள்; நாங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறதைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறோம்; ஏனென்றால் இரட்சிப்பு யூதர்கள் வழியாய் வருகிறது. உண்மையாய்த் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் பிதாவை ஆவியோடும் உண்மையோடும் தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்காலம் வரும், அது இப்பொழுதே வந்திருக்கிறது; தம்மைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் இப்படிப்பட்டவர்களாயிருக்கும்படி பிதாவானவர் விரும்புகிறார். தேவன் ஆவியாயிருக்கிறார், அவரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் ஆவியோடும் உண்மையோடும் அவரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளவேண்டும் என்றார்." ( யோவான் 4 : 21 - 24 )

தேவனை ஆவியோடும் உண்மையோடும்  தொழுதுகொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று இயேசு கூறுகின்றார். தேவன் நமக்குள் இருப்பதை நாம் உணர்ந்துகொண்டால் மட்டுமே அவரை நாம் ஆவியோடும் உண்மையோடும் தொழுதுகொள்ள  முடியும். "அவர் நம்மில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறதை அவர் நமக்குத் தந்தருளின ஆவியினாலே அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்." என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் சொல்கின்றது. நாம் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை வாழ்வில் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது என்ன நடக்கின்றது என்பதனை இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "சத்திய ஆவியாகிய அவர் வரும்போது, சகல சத்தியத்திற்குள்ளும் உங்களை நடத்துவார்; அவர் தம்முடைய சுயமாய்ப் பேசாமல், தாம் கேள்விப்பட்டவைகள் யாவையுஞ்சொல்லி, வரப்போகிற காரியங்களை உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பார்." ( யோவான் 16 : 13 ) என்று கூறியுள்ளார்.  

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இதுதான் ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள் இருக்கின்றார் என்பதற்கு அடையாளம். வெறுமனே சில சடங்குகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை நாம் பெற்றுக்கொண்டுள்ளோம் என எண்ணிக்கொண்டு வாழ்வோமானால் உண்மையை அறியாதவர்களாகவே  இருப்போம். கிறிஸ்தவம் வெறும் கற்பனை போதனைகளைக் கொண்ட மார்க்கமல்ல, மாறாக அது அனுபவ மார்க்கம்; உயிருள்ள தேவனைக் கொண்டுள்ள மார்க்கம். இரண்டாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்குமுன் சொல்லப்பட்ட, சீடர்கள் அனுபவித்த,  அனுபவங்கள் இன்றும் உண்மையாக நடப்பதை நாமும் அனுபவிக்கவேண்டும். 

"உலகம் அந்தச் சத்திய ஆவியானவரைக் காணாமலும் அறியாமலும் இருக்கிறபடியால் அவரைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளமாட்டாது; அவர் உங்களுடனே வாசம்பண்ணி உங்களுக்குள்ளே இருப்பதால், நீங்கள் அவரை அறிவீர்கள்." ( யோவான் 14 : 17 ) என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஆவியானவர் நமக்குள் இருப்பதை நாம் தெளிவாக அறிய முடியும். வேத    வசனங்கள் வெறுமனே வாசிப்பதற்கல்ல,  வாழ்வாக்குவதற்கு.

பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை வேண்டுமென்று "கேளுங்கள்; உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்." என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. ஆவியானவரை கேட்கச்சொல்லி இயேசு சொல்லிக்கொடுத்த இந்த வார்த்தைகளை உலகப்பொருட்களை கேட்கும்படி மக்களை பயிற்சிவித்துள்ள ஊழியர்கள் தெளிவடையவேண்டும். வேதாகமத்தில் நமக்கு வேண்டிய வார்த்தைகளை மட்டும் துண்டாக பொறுக்கியெடுத்து அர்த்தம் கொள்ளாமல் முழுமையாக வேத வசனங்களை வாசிக்கப் பழகுவோம். இந்த வசனங்களை இயேசு எப்படிச் சொல்லி முடிக்கின்றார் பாருங்கள் ;- "பொல்லாதவர்களாகிய நீங்கள் உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு நல்ல ஈவுகளைக் கொடுக்க அறிந்திருக்கும்போது, பரமபிதாவானவர் தம்மிடத்தில் வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களுக்குப் பரிசுத்த ஆவியைக் கொடுப்பது அதிக நிச்சயம் அல்லவா என்றார்." ( லுூக்கா 11 : 13 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதன்படி அவருடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்போது நாம்  அவரில் நிலைத்திருக்கின்றோம் என்று பொருள்.  இதுவே உண்மையான கிறிஸ்தவ  அனுபவம். இதுவரை இந்த அனுபவத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லையானால் இதனை பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முயற்சியெடுப்போம். "கேளுங்கள்; உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்." என்கிறார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து.

Scripture Meditation No. 1614

AATHAVAN – Wednesday, 09 July 2025

“And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” (1 John 3:24, KJV)

There is a distinct difference between how ordinary people worship God and how a person led by the Spirit worships Him. The former worship based on traditions passed down by their ancestors, whereas the latter worships with the full awareness that God truly dwells within them.

We can clearly understand this through the conversation between Jesus Christ and the Samaritan woman. She said to Jesus:

“Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.” (John 4:20, KJV)

She was referring to the traditional method of worship handed down by her ancestors. She worshipped according to what was taught to her.

To this, Jesus replied:

“Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:21–24, KJV)

Jesus emphasized that we must worship God in spirit and in truth. This kind of worship is only possible when we know that God abides in us. As today's meditation verse states:

“Hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” (1 John 3:24)

Jesus Christ also explained what happens when we receive the Holy Spirit:

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” (John 16:13, KJV)

Dearly beloved, this is the evidence that the Holy Spirit dwells in us. If we simply cling to certain rituals and assume we have received the Holy Spirit, we are deceiving ourselves. Christianity is not a religion of imaginative doctrines—it is a faith of experience, a path with a living God.

We must experience today what the disciples experienced over two thousand years ago. Those events were not just historical; they are to be personally experienced even today.

Jesus said:

“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” (John 14:17, KJV)

Yes, dear ones, we can know with certainty that the Holy Spirit is in us. Bible verses are not given to be merely read, but to be lived.

Jesus said, “Ask, and it shall be given you.” He taught us to ask specifically for the Holy Spirit. But sadly, some preachers mislead people to seek worldly things instead. They must come to clarity. Let us be people who read the Word in its entirety, not just selected fragments.

Look how Jesus concludes the teaching: “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” (Luke 11:13, KJV)

Today’s meditation verse teaches that by keeping His commandments, we abide in Him. This is the true Christian experience. If you have not yet received this experience, then take a step to seek it today.

“Ask, and it shall be given you,” says Jesus Christ. (Matthew 7:7, KJV)
