 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1787                                    🔆 ஆதவன் 29.12.2025 திங்கள்          

"எங்களால் ஏதாகிலும் ஆகும் என்பதுபோல ஒன்றை யோசிக்கிறதற்கு நாங்கள் எங்களாலே தகுதியானவர்கள் அல்ல; எங்களுடைய தகுதி  தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது." (2 கொரிந்தியர் 3:5)

அற்பமான மனிதர்களாகிய நமது தகுதியின்மையையும், தேவனது கிருபையினையும் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நமக்கு உணர்த்துவதாக உள்ளது. 

இன்று மனிதர்கள் பலரும் தங்களது அற்பமான திறமைகளை மேன்மையாக எண்ணி வாழ்கின்றனர். இசை, நடிப்பு, பாட்டு, எழுத்து, பேச்சாற்றல்,  பணம், பதவி அதிகாரம் என மனிதர்கள் மேன்மைபாராட்ட பல விஷயங்கள் உள்ளன. ஆனால், தேவனுக்குமுன் இவை அனைத்தும் அற்பமும் குப்பையுமானானவையே. இந்தத் திறமைகளை தேவன் நமக்குத் தந்திருந்தால் அதற்காக தேவனுக்கு நன்றிசெலுத்தி வாழ்வேண்டுமேத் தவிர அவற்றுக்காக பெருமைபாராட்டுவது அறிவீனம். 

"மிதிபட்ட  ஒரே களிமண்ணினாலே குயவன் ஒரு பாத்திரத்தைக் கனமான காரியத்துக்கும், ஒரு பாத்திரத்தைக் கனவீனமான காரியத்துக்கும் பண்ணுகிறதற்கு மண்ணின்மேல் அவனுக்கு அதிகாரம் இல்லையோ?" (ரோமர் 9:21) எனும் வசனத்துக்கேற்ப பரம குயவனாகிய தேவன் தனது விருப்பப்படி ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனையும் உருவாக்கியுள்ளார். ஒவ்வொருவரைக்குறித்தும் தேவனுக்கு ஒரு நோக்கமுண்டு. அது உலகத்தில் பெயர் பெறுவதல்ல; மாறாக, நமக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள திறமைகளை நாம் எந்த அளவு தேவனது சித்தமறிந்து பயன்படுத்துகின்றோம் என்பதே. 

அன்பானவர்களே, நமது தகுதிக் குறைவை எண்ணி; நமது தாழ்ந்த நிலைமையை எண்ணி  நாம் கவலைப்படத் தேவையில்லை. தேவனால் ஒருவனை எந்த நேரத்திலும் உயர்த்தவும் தாழ்த்தவும் முடியும். இதனை அறிந்திருந்ததால்தான் அன்னை மரியாள், "தம்முடைய புயத்தினாலே பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்தார்; இருதய சிந்தையில் அகந்தையுள்ளவர்களைச் சிதறடித்தார். பலவான்களை ஆசனங்களிலிருந்து தள்ளி, தாழ்மையானவர்களை உயர்த்தினார். பசியுள்ளவர்களை நன்மைகளினால் நிரப்பி, ஐசுவரியமுள்ளவர்களை வெறுமையாய் அனுப்பிவிட்டார்." ( லுூக்கா 1: 51-53) என்று பாடுகின்றார். 

மேற்படி வசனத்தில் நாம், "இருதய சிந்தையில் அகந்தையுள்ளவர்களைச் சிதறடித்தார்" என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, "எல்லாம் என்னால்தான்" என்று வாழ்வதுதான் அகந்தை. அத்தகைய அகந்தையுள்ளவர்களை அவர் சிதறடிக்கின்றார்;   தாழ்மையானவர்களை உயர்த்துகின்றார்.

இதனால்தான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "எங்களால் ஏதாகிலும் ஆகும் என்பதுபோல ஒன்றை யோசிக்கிறதற்கு நாங்கள் எங்களாலே தகுதியானவர்கள் அல்ல; எங்களுடைய தகுதி  தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது." என்று கூறுகின்றார். நமக்கு மற்றவர்களைவிட எவ்வளவு திறமை, செல்வம், நல்ல வேலை, பதவி அதிகாரம்   இருந்தாலும் அதனைக்குறித்து மேன்மைபாராட்டாமல் தேவனுக்கு நன்றிசெலுத்தி வாழ்வோம். நமது திறமைகளும் பணமும் பதவியும் தேவன் நினைத்தால் ஒரே நொடியில் இல்லாமல் போயிடும் என்ற பயத்துடன் வாழ்வோம். 

வேதாகமத்தில் நாம் யோபுவின் வாழ்க்கையினை வாசிக்கும்போது இது தெளிவாகப் புரியும். எல்லாவற்றையும் பெற்றுச்  செலவச் சீமானாக வாழ்ந்த யோபு ஒரே நாளில் அனைத்தையும் இழக்கவில்லையா? அதுபோல தேவனது கிருபையால் இழந்த அனைத்தையும் இரெட்டிப்பாகப்  பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லையா? ஆம், அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் நம்மால் எந்தத் தகுதியுமானவர்கள் அல்ல; நம்முடைய தகுதி  தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது. எனவே, இந்த உணர்வுடன் தேவனுக்கு அஞ்சி வாழ்வோம்.

“Within the Seeds” 🌳

🔆 AATHAVAN – Monday, 29.12.2025

“Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God.”
(2 Corinthians 3:5)

Today’s meditation verse helps us recognize our human inadequacy and God’s abundant grace.

Many people today live with a high opinion of their limited abilities. Music, acting, singing, writing, eloquence, wealth, status, and authority—there are many things in which people take pride. But before God, all these are insignificant and worthless. If God has given us these abilities, we ought to live in gratitude to Him, not in pride over them. Boasting in such gifts is sheer foolishness.

“Or does not the potter have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for common use?” (Romans 9:21)

According to this verse, God, the heavenly Potter, has formed every human being according to His sovereign will. God has a purpose for each person—not to gain fame in this world, but to see how faithfully we use the gifts entrusted to us in accordance with His will.

Beloved, we need not worry when we think about our inadequacy or our lowly state. God can exalt or humble anyone at any time. Knowing this truth, Mary sang:

“He has done mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their heart. He has brought down rulers from their thrones And has exalted those who were humble. He has filled the hungry with good things; And sent the rich away empty-handed.” (Luke 1:51–53)

In this passage we read, “He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their heart.”

Yes, beloved, living with the attitude “I achieved everything by myself” is pride. God scatters such proud-hearted people, but He lifts up the humble.

That is why the Apostle Paul declares:

“Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God.” (2 Corinthians 3:5)

Even if we possess greater talents, wealth, good employment, or authority than others, let us not boast, but live in thanksgiving to God. Let us live with a reverent awareness that our abilities, wealth, and positions can disappear in a moment if God so wills.

This truth becomes very clear when we read about Job in the Bible. Did not Job, who once lived as a wealthy and influential man, lose everything in a single day? And did he not receive double of all that he had lost by the grace of God? Yes, beloved, we are not sufficient in ourselves; our sufficiency is from God. Therefore, let us live with this understanding, in the fear of God.

🦋 Meditation verse 2 கொரிந்தியர் 5: 16 / 2 Corinthians 5:16)

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1786                                  🔆 ஆதவன் 28.12.2025 ஞாயிறு         

"நாங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவையும் மாம்சத்தின்படி அறிந்திருந்தாலும், இனி ஒருபோதும் அவரை மாம்சத்தின்படி அறியோம்." (2 கொரிந்தியர் 5: 16)

மாம்சத்தின்படி கிறிஸ்துவை அறிதல் என்பது உலகினில் அவரது பிறப்பின் குடும்பப் பின்னணியைக்கொண்டு பார்ப்பதைக் குறிக்கின்றது. பல மனிதர்களும் கிறிஸ்துவின் மனிதத்  தோற்றத்தை மட்டுமே மனதில் கொண்டு அவரை இரண்டாயிரத்து இருபத்தைந்து ஆண்டுகளுக்குமுன் உலகத்தில் பிறந்த சாதாரண மனிதன் என்று எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் பலரும்கூட இயேசு கிறிஸ்துதான் உலகத்தைப் படைத்தார் (எபிரெயர் 1:2) எனும் சத்தியம் தெரியாமல் இருக்கின்றனர். 

கிறிஸ்தவர்களில் பலரும் தாவீதின் வம்சத்தில் அவர் பிறந்ததால் தாவீதின் குமாரன் என்கின்றனர். ஆனால் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இப்படி அவரை அழைப்பதே தவறு என்று கூறுவதை நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். "தாவீது அவரை ஆண்டவரென்று சொல்லியிருக்க, அவனுக்கு அவர் குமாரனாயிருப்பது எப்படி என்றார்." (லூக்கா 20:44) அவர். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, பூமியின் கணக்குப்படி அவர் தாவீதின் குமாரனாக இருக்கலாம், ஆனால் அது அவரது உண்மையான அடையாளமல்ல; அவர் சர்வ வல்லவரான ஆண்டவர். 

இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "நாங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவையும் மாம்சத்தின்படி அறிந்திருந்தாலும், இனி ஒருபோதும் அவரை மாம்சத்தின்படி அறியோம்." என்று கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது, அவரை நாங்கள் தாவீதின் மரபில் வந்தவராக, யோசேப்பு, மரியாளின் மகனாக அறிந்திருந்தாலும் இனி ஒருபோதும் அப்படி நாங்கள் அறிய மாட்டோம். அவர் சர்வ வல்லவரான தேவன் என்று மட்டுமே நாங்கள் இனி அவரை அறிவோம் என்கின்றார். நமது மீப்புக்காகவே அவர் மனிதனானார்; உண்மையில் அவர் வெறும் மனிதனல்ல. 

ஆனால், பல போதகர்களும் குருக்களும் கிறிஸ்து பிறப்பு நாளில் அவரை ஒரு குழந்தையாகவே எண்ணிப் பிரசங்கம் செய்கின்றனர். சிலர், "பாலன் இயேசுவிடம் கேளுங்கள்; குழந்தையைப்போல நாம் கேட்பதை அவர் தருவார்" என்று கூறுவதைக் கேட்டிருக்கிறேன். இந்தமாதிரி பிரசங்கங்கள் இவர்கள் இன்னும் அவரை மாம்சத்தில்தான் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள் என்பதனை உறுதிசெய்கின்றது. அவர் இன்னும் குழந்தையல்ல.  

சர்வ வல்லவராக கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து ஏன் இரத்தமும் சதையுமான மனிதனாக மாறினார் என்பதனை எபிரேய நிருப ஆசிரியர்,  "பிள்ளைகள் மாம்சத்தையும் இரத்தத்தையும் உடையவர்களாயிருக்க, அவரும் அவர்களைப்போல மாம்சத்தையும் இரத்தத்தையும் உடையவரானார்; மரணத்துக்கு அதிகாரியாகிய பிசாசானவனைத் தமது மரணத்தினாலே அழிக்கும்படிக்கும், ஜீவகாலமெல்லாம் மரணபயத்தினாலே அடிமைத்தனத்திற் குள்ளானவர்கள் யாவரையும் விடுதலைபண்ணும்படிக்கும் அப்படியானார்."( எபிரெயர் 2: 14, 15) என்று கூறுகின்றார்.

எனவே, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசித்து,  அவர் நமக்காக மனித உடலெடுத்து நமக்காகப் பாடுபட்டார் என்பதை  விசுவாசிக்கும்போது  நாம் பாவத்திலிருந்தும், சாத்தானின் பிடியிலிருந்தும் மரண பயத்திலிருந்தும்  விடுதலை  பெறுகின்றோம்.

கிறிஸ்தவத்தின்  ஆரம்ப காலத்தில் பலரும் இயேசுவை மனிதராகக் கண்டிருந்ததால் அவர்களுக்கு கிறிஸ்துவை தேவனாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதில் பல சந்தேகங்கள், சிக்கல்கள்  இருந்தன.  எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "நாங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவையும் மாம்சத்தின்படி அறிந்திருந்தாலும், இனி ஒருபோதும் அவரை மாம்சத்தின்படி அறியோம்." (2 கொரிந்தியர் 5: 16) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, அவரது மனிதத் தன்மையை மட்டும் நாம் எண்ணிக்கொண்டு அவரது சர்வ வல்லமையையும், உலகத்தோற்றத்துக்குமுன்னே அவர் இருக்கின்றார் எனும் சத்தியத்தையும் மறந்துவிடக்கூடாது. அப்படி நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை சர்வ வல்லவராக விசுவாசித்து வாழும்போதுதான் மெய்யான தேவனையும் அவரது மீட்பினையும், வல்லமையையும் தேவ ஆசீர்வாதங்களையும் பெற்றவர்களாக மாற முடியும்.

“Therefore, from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.” (2 Corinthians 5:16)

To know Christ according to the flesh means to view Him merely through the lens of His earthly birth and family background. Many people think of Christ only in terms of His human appearance and consider Him a mere man who was born into this world two thousand and twenty-five years ago. Even among Christians, many are unaware of the profound truth that Jesus Christ is the One through whom God created the world (Hebrews 1:2).

Because He was born in the lineage of David, many call Him the Son of David. However, we read that Jesus Himself questioned the limitation of this title.

“David himself calls Him ‘Lord’; so, in what sense is He his son?” (Luke 20:44)

Yes, beloved, according to earthly lineage He may be called the son of David, but that is not His true identity. He is the Almighty Lord.

It is this truth that the Apostle Paul declares in today’s meditation verse:

“Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.” (2 Corinthians 5:16)

In other words, though we may once have known Him as One born in David’s line, as the son of Joseph and Mary, we no longer know Him in that manner. We now know Him only as the Almighty God. For our redemption He became human; yet in truth, He is not merely a man.

However, many preachers and clergy still speak of Christ at Christmas time only as a baby. I have even heard some say, “Ask the infant Jesus; like a child, He will give whatever we ask.” Such preaching clearly shows that they are still viewing Him according to the flesh. He is no longer a child.

The author of Hebrews explains why Jesus Christ, the Almighty Lord, became a man of flesh and blood:

“Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, so that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.” (Hebrews 2:14–15)

Therefore, when we believe in Jesus Christ and trust that He took on human flesh and suffered for our sake, we are set free from sin, from the grip of Satan, and from the fear of death.

In the early days of Christianity, many people had seen Jesus merely as a man and thus struggled with doubts and difficulties in accepting Him as God. That is why the Apostle Paul emphatically states:

“Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.” (2 Corinthians 5:16)

Beloved, we must not focus only on His humanity and forget the truth of His omnipotence and His existence before the foundation of the world. Only when we believe in Christ as the Almighty and live by that faith can we truly know God, experience His salvation, His power, and receive His divine blessings.

🦋 Meditation verse - 2 பேதுரு 1: 16 / 2 Peter 1:16

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1785                                     🔆 ஆதவன் 27.12.2025 சனி        

"நாங்கள் தந்திரமான கட்டுக்கதைகளைப் பின்பற்றினவர்களாக அல்ல, அவருடைய மகத்துவத்தைக் கண்ணாரக் கண்டவர்களாகவே நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் வல்லமையையும் வருகையையும் உங்களுக்கு அறிவித்தோம்." (2 பேதுரு 1: 16)

"உண்மை தனது காலணிகளை அணியுமுன் பொய்யானது உலகத்தைச் சுற்றிவந்துவிடும்" என்று ஒரு கூற்று உண்டு. காரணம், மனிதர்கள் பெரும்பாலும் உண்மையைவிட பொய்யை அதிகமாக நம்புகின்றனர் என்பதே.  எனவேதான் பொய்யான வாக்குறுதிகளைக் கொடுத்து அரசியல்வாதிகளால் ஆட்சியைப் பிடிக்கமுடிகின்றது.  பல ஏமாற்றுப்பேர்வழிகள்  பல்வேறு கவர்ச்சிகரமானத் திட்டங்களை அறிவித்துப் பொதுமக்களின் பணத்தைச் சுருட்டிக்கொண்டு ஓடுகின்றனர்; ஆனாலும் மக்கள் பொய்யையே நம்புகின்றனர்.

பல மதங்கள் கூறும் செய்திகளும் இப்படிக் கடவுளைக்குறித்துக் கூறும்  கற்பனையாகவே உள்ளன. எந்த ஆதாரமும் இல்லாவிட்டாலும் பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் அவற்றை நம்புகின்றனர். காரணம், அவை மனிதர்களுக்குப் பிடித்தக்  காரியங்களையே கதையாகக் கூறுகின்றன.  அவை மனிதர்கள் என்ன விரும்புகின்றார்களோ அதற்கேற்ற அழகிய கற்பனைகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளன. அவற்றால் யாரும் பாதிக்கப்படுவதில்லை. அவை மனிதர்களது இருதயத்தை ஊடுருவிக் குத்துவதில்லை; மனிதர்களது தவறை உணர்த்துவதில்லை. பலவேளைகளில் அவை கூறும் கடவுளின் செயல்கள் சாதாரண மனிதர்கள் செய்யும் செயலைவிட மோசமானவையாக உள்ளன. ஆனால் மக்கள் அவற்றையே விரும்பி நம்புகின்றனர்.

ஆனால், கிறிஸ்தவ கோட்பாடுகள் மனிதர்களது இருதயத்தை நேரடியாகத் தாக்குகின்றன. மனிதர்களது இருதய மாற்றத்தை வலியுறுத்துகின்றன. உடம்பில் ஏற்படும் புண்ணுக்கு மற்ற மதங்கள் ஒத்தடம்கொடுக்கின்றன. தற்காலிக நிவாரணம் அளிக்க முயலுகின்றன. எளிதான பரிகாரங்களைக் கூறுகின்றன. எனவே, மக்களும் அதனை ஏற்றுக்கொள்கின்றனர். ஆனால் கிறிஸ்தவம் அறுவை சிகிர்ச்சை செய்வதுபோல மனித இருதயத்தை அறுத்துச் சீர்படுத்த முயலுகின்றது. தேவ வசனங்கள் இந்த அறுவைச் சிகிர்ச்சையைச் செய்கின்றன. 

நமக்காக கிறிஸ்து அனைத்துப் பரிகாரத்தையும் சிலுவையில் செய்து முடித்துவிட்டார். எனவே, அவருக்கு நமது இருதயத்தை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்போது நாம் எந்தப் பரிகாரமும் செய்யவேண்டியதில்லை. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவ வசனங்கள் மனிதனில் அறுவை சிகிர்ச்சை செய்கின்றன. இதனையே நாம், "தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையானது ஜீவனும் வல்லமையும் உள்ளதாயும், இருபுறமும் கருக்குள்ள எந்தப் பட்டயத்திலும் கருக்கானதாயும், ஆத்துமாவையும், ஆவியையும், கணுக்களையும் ஊனையும் பிரிக்கத்தக்கதாக உருவக் குத்துகிறதாயும், இருதயத்தின் நினைவுகளையும் யோசனைகளையும் வகையறுக்கிறதாயும் இருக்கிறது." ( எபிரெயர் 4: 12) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். ஆம், தேவ வசனங்கள் மனிதனது ஆவி, ஆத்துமா, உடல் இவற்றை ஊடுருவி எடைபோடுகின்றன. இவற்றை பரிசுத்தப்படுத்த வலியுறுத்துகின்றன. இதனைப் பலரும் விரும்புவதில்லை. எனவே கிறிஸ்தவத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளத் தயங்குகின்றனர். 

ஆனால், அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு இந்த வார்த்தையாம் தேவனோடு இருந்து அவரை அனுபவித்தவர். எனவேதான் அவர், "ஆண்டவரே, யாரிடத்தில் போவோம், நித்தியஜீவ வசனங்கள் உம்மிடத்தில் உண்டே." ( யோவான் 6: 68) என்று அறிக்கையிட்டார். அப்போஸ்தலரான யோவான், "ஆதிமுதல் இருந்ததும், நாங்கள் கேட்டதும், எங்கள் கண்களினாலே கண்டதும், நாங்கள் நோக்கிப்பார்த்ததும், எங்கள் கைகளினாலே தொட்டதுமாயிருக்கிற ஜீவவார்த்தையைக்குறித்து உங்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கிறோம்." (1 யோவான்  1 : 1) என்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, மற்ற மார்க்கங்களைப்போல கட்டுக்கதைகளின் தொகுப்பல்ல கிறிஸ்தவம். நேரடியான சாட்சிகளால் உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட்டச் சரித்திர சான்றுடன் கூடியது.  அவருடைய மகத்துவத்தைக் கண்ணாரக் கண்டவர்களால் உறுதியுடன் நமக்கு சான்றளிக்கப்பட்டது. நாமும் உறுதியாக இந்த வேதம் கூறும் உண்மைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு வாழ்வாக்குவோமென்றால், அந்த வார்த்தைகள் இன்றும் உயிருள்ளவையாக நம்மில் செயல்படுவதை உணர்ந்துகொள்ளலாம். இந்த வார்த்தைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது மட்டுமே கிறிஸ்தவம் கூறுவது கட்டுக்கதையல்ல என்பதனை உணர்ந்துகொள்ளமுடியும்.

“For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.” (2 Peter 1:16, NASB)

There is a saying, “A lie can travel around the world before truth has put on its shoes.” The reason is simple: human beings often believe lies more readily than the truth. That is why politicians are able to seize power by making false promises. Many fraudsters announce attractive schemes, swindle the public of their money, and flee—yet people continue to believe the lies.

In the same way, the messages proclaimed by many religions about God are largely imaginative stories. Even without any evidence, most people believe them, because such stories tell only what people like to hear. They are beautifully crafted fantasies that suit human desires. They do not wound anyone; they do not pierce the human heart; they do not expose human sin. At times, the actions attributed to God in these stories are even worse than the deeds of ordinary humans—yet people still prefer and believe them.

Christian doctrine, however, strikes directly at the human heart. It insists on an inner transformation. Other religions are like applying a poultice to a wound in the body—offering temporary relief and easy remedies. Hence, people readily accept them. Christianity, on the other hand, is like performing surgery on the human heart. It cuts in order to heal. The Word of God performs this spiritual surgery.

Christ has already completed every atoning work for us on the cross. Therefore, when we surrender our hearts to Him, we are not required to perform any further acts of atonement ourselves.

Yes, beloved, the Word of God performs surgery within a person. This is exactly what we read:

“For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

Indeed, the Word of God penetrates the spirit, soul, and body of a person. It weighs them, confronts them, and calls for sanctification. Many people do not like this. Therefore, they hesitate to accept Christianity.

But the apostle Peter was one who lived with the Word made flesh and experienced Him personally. That is why he confessed:

“Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.” (John 6:68)

Likewise, the apostle John declared:

“What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life—” (1 John 1:1)

Yes, beloved, Christianity is not a collection of myths like other belief systems. It is grounded in history and confirmed by firsthand witnesses. It has been testified to us with certainty by those who saw His majesty with their own eyes. If we firmly accept and live by the truths proclaimed in this Holy Scripture, we will experience even today that these words are living and active within us. Only when we receive these words can we truly understand that what Christianity proclaims is not a cleverly devised tale, but eternal truth.

🦋 Meditation verse - யோவான் 4: 42 / John 4:42

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1784                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 26.12.2025 வெள்ளி       

"உன் சொல்லினிமித்தம் அல்ல, அவருடைய உபதேசத்தை நாங்களே கேட்டு, அவர் மெய்யாய்க் கிறிஸ்துவாகிய உலகரட்சகர் என்று அறிந்து விசுவாசிக்கிறோம் என்றார்கள்." ( யோவான் 4: 42)

எந்த உண்மையும் மற்றவர்கள் சொல்வதைக் கேட்டு நம்புவதைவிட நாம் தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் உணர்ந்து அனுபவித்து அறிவது மேலானது. எப்படித்தான் ஒருவர் தான் கண்டு அனுபவித்ததை விளக்கிக்கூறினாலும் நாமாக அதனை உணர்ந்து அனுபவிக்காவிட்டால் நாம் முற்றிலும் தெளிவடையமாட்டோம். 

இதுவரை நாம் கண்டிராத புதுவித வெளிநாட்டுப் பழம் ஒன்றினை ஒருவர் நம்மிடம் காண்பிக்கின்றார் என்றும் அந்தப் பழத்தினை அவர் மட்டுமே சாப்பிட்டு ருசித்துள்ளார் என்றும் வைத்துக்கொள்வோம். அந்தப் பழத்தின் சுவையை அவர் நம் நாட்டிலுள்ள ஒரு பழத்துடன் ஒப்பிட்டு  இதன் சுவை அந்தப் பழத்தின் சுவையைவிட வித்தியாசமானது, இனிமையானது என்று கூறி விளக்கலாமேத்தவிர அந்தப் பழத்தினை நாமாக உண்டு சுவைத்துப்பார்த்தால் மட்டுமே நம்மால் அதனை முற்றிலும் உணரமுடியும்.  

இதுபோன்றதே தேவனை அறிவது. நம்மில் பலரும் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொண்டாலும் அவரை உண்மையாய் அறிந்துகொண்டவர்கள் வெகுசிலர்தான். நாம் சிறுவயதுமுதல் பெற்றோர்களால் போதிக்கப்பட்டவைகளை நம்பி அவரை ஆராதிப்பவர்களாக இருக்கின்றோம். இப்படிக் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிவதும் அவரைத் தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் உணர்ந்து அறிந்துகொள்வதும் வெல்வேறு அனுபவங்களாகும். 

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து சமாரிய பெண்ணிடம் பேசும்போது, தானே வரவிருக்கும் மேசியா என்பதனை,  "உன்னுடன் பேசுகிற நானே அவர்" (யோவான் 4:26) என்று தெளிவுபடுத்தினார். பின்னர் அந்தப்பெண் ஊருக்குள் சென்று "நான் செய்த எல்லாவற்றையும் ஒரு மனுஷன் எனக்குச் சொன்னார்; அவரை வந்து பாருங்கள்; அவர் கிறிஸ்துதானோ என்றாள்." ( யோவான் 4: 29). அவள் கூறியதைக் கேட்டு ஊரிலிருந்த அவர்களும் அவரைப் பார்ப்பதற்கு வந்தனர். 

பின்னர் அவர்கள் இயேசுவைத் தங்களோடு தங்கும்படி அழைத்தனர். அவரும் அதனை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு அவர்களோடு சென்று தாங்கினார். அங்கு அவர்களோடு  தங்கி விண்ணுலகில் மேலான சத்தியங்களை அவர்களுக்கு விளக்கிப் புரியும்படிச் செய்தார். அதன்மூலம் அவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவை உண்மையான மேசியாவாகக் கண்டுகொண்டனர். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இந்தச் சமாரியர்களைப்போல கிறிஸ்துவை உணர்ந்து அறிந்துகொள்வதே மேலான அனுபவம். மற்றவர்கள் அவரை இரட்சகர், என்று கூறுவதால் அல்ல; மறைக்கல்வி வகுப்புகளில் சொல்லித் தந்ததால் அல்ல; மாறாக, அந்த இரட்சிப்பை நாம் பெற்றுக்கொண்டவர்களாக; அந்த இரட்சிப்பு அனுபவத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டு அவரை இரட்சகர் என்று அறிக்கையிடவேண்டும். இப்படித்தான் சமாரியர்கள் அவரை அறிந்துகொண்டனர். எனவேதான் அவர்கள், "உன் சொல்லினிமித்தம் அல்ல, அவருடைய உபதேசத்தை நாங்களே கேட்டு, அவர் மெய்யாய்க் கிறிஸ்துவாகிய உலகரட்சகர் என்று அறிந்து விசுவாசிக்கிறோம் என்றார்கள்."

கிறிஸ்தவ மார்க்கம் விசுவாச மார்க்கம். ஆனால், அது குருட்டுத்தனமான விசுவாச மார்க்கமல்ல. ஒருவிதத்தில் விஞ்ஞானபூர்வமான விசுவாசமார்க்கம். விஞ்ஞானத்தில் பல்வேறு கோட்பாடுகள் உண்டு. அவைகளை உறுத்திப்படுத்திட  பல்வேறு நிபந்தனைகளும் பரிசோதனைகளும் உண்டு. அதுபோலவே வேதாகம சத்தியங்களும் சில நிபந்தனைகளுக்கு உட்பட்டவை. அனைத்து வாக்குத்தத்தங்களும் நிபந்தனையோடு கூடியவை. வேதம் கூறும் நிபந்தனைகளுக்கு நாம் சரியாக இருப்போமானால் அவைகூறும் உண்மையினை நாம் அனுபவிக்க முடியும். 

அப்படி வாழும்போது நாமும் சமாரியர்களைப்போல, "கிறிஸ்துவைக்குறித்து வேதாகமம் கூறுவதாலோ, எனக்குப் போதிக்கப்பட்டதாலோ அல்ல; மாறாக, அந்த வசனங்கள், வாக்குறுதிகளை நானே கேட்டு, உணர்ந்து வேதாகமம் கூறும் அனைத்தும் முற்றிலும் உண்மை என்று அறிந்து கிறிஸ்துவே மெய்யான உலக  இரட்சகர் என்று விசுவசிக்கிறேன்." என்று உறுதியாகக் கூறமுடியும்.

“Within the Seeds” 🌳

📖 Bible Meditation No. 1784
🔆 AATHAVAN – Friday, 26.12.2025

“They were saying to the woman, ‘It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One truly is the Savior of the world.’” (John 4:42)

Any truth is far more valuable when we personally realize, experience, and understand it, rather than merely believing it because others have said so. No matter how clearly someone explains what they have personally seen and experienced, unless we ourselves perceive and experience it, we will never gain complete clarity.

Let us imagine that someone shows us a new kind of foreign fruit that we have never seen before, and that person alone has tasted it. He may compare its taste with a familiar fruit from our country and say, “Its flavour is different, sweeter, and more delightful than that fruit.” However, we can truly understand its taste only when we ourselves eat and experience it.

The same principle applies to knowing God. Though many of us call ourselves Christians, only a few truly know Him. From childhood, we have believed and worshiped God based on what our parents taught us. Knowing about Christ in this way and knowing Him personally through experience are two entirely different realities.

When Jesus spoke with the Samaritan woman, He revealed to her that He Himself was the coming Messiah, saying,

“I who speak to you am He.” (John 4:26)

Then the woman went into the city and said,

“Come, see a man who told me all the things that I have done; this is not the Christ, is it?” (John 4:29)

Hearing her testimony, the people of the city came to see Him.

Later, they asked Jesus to stay with them, and He agreed and remained there with them. As He stayed among them, He explained the heavenly and profound truths in a way they could understand. Through this, they came to recognize Christ as the true Messiah.

Yes, beloved, experiencing Christ and knowing Him personally—just as the Samaritans did—is the greater and richer experience. They did not believe merely because others called Him the Savior, nor because they were taught in religious instruction classes. Instead, they personally received salvation and experienced it, and then confessed Him as Savior. This is exactly how the Samaritans came to know Him. Therefore, they declared:

“It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One truly is the Savior of the world.” (John 4:42)

Christianity is indeed a faith-based path, but it is not a blind faith. In one sense, it is a faith that is rational and experiential. In science, there are many theories, each tested and validated through specific conditions and experiments. In the same way, biblical truths are connected to certain conditions. All God’s promises are conditional. When we align ourselves rightly with the conditions stated in Scripture, we can experience the truth of those promises.

When we live in this manner, we too—like the Samaritans—can confidently say:

“Not merely because the Bible speaks about Christ, nor because I was taught so, but because I myself have heard, understood, and experienced these words and promises, I know that everything the Scriptures declare is absolutely true, and I believe that Christ alone is truly the Savior of the world.”

🦋 Meditation verse - லுூக்கா 2 : 10, 11 / Luke 2:10–11

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1783                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 25.12.2025 வியாழன்      

"பயப்படாதிருங்கள்; இதோ, எல்லா ஜனத்துக்கும் மிகுந்த சந்தோஷத்தை உண்டாக்கும் நற்செய்தியை உங்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கிறேன். இன்று கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்து என்னும் இரட்சகர் உங்களுக்குத் தாவீதின் ஊரிலே பிறந்திருக்கிறார்." ( லுூக்கா 2 : 10, 11 )

அனைவருக்கும் நம் மீட்பரும் இரட்சகருமான இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்பின் நாள் நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள்!!

கிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்பைக்குறித்து நாம் வேதாகமத்தில் வாசிக்கும்போது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்பு முதன்முதலில் ஆடுமேய்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்த இடையர்களுக்குத்தான் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது என்று பார்க்கின்றோம். மேசியாவாகிய மீட்பர் பிறப்பார் என்று வேதத்தில் முன்குறிக்கப்பட்டிருந்ததால் ஞானிகளும், வேத வல்லுனர்களும் அதனை எதிர்பார்த்துக் காத்திருந்தனர். ஆனால், அவர்களுக்கல்ல, படிப்பறிவில்லாத இடையர்களுக்கே அவரது பிறப்பு முதலில் அறிவிக்கப்படுகின்றது. 

தேவதூதன் அறிவித்த கிறிஸ்துப் பிறப்பின் செய்தி, "பயப்படாதிருங்கள்" என்ற தைரியமூட்டும் வார்த்தைகளால் ஆரம்பிக்கின்றது. மேலும், தேவதூதன், "எல்லா ஜனத்துக்கும் மிகுந்த சந்தோஷத்தை உண்டாக்கும் நற்செய்தி" அறிவிப்பதாகக் கூறுகின்றான். கிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்பு எல்லோருக்கும் மகிழ்ச்சியான செய்தி. ஆனால், அதிகாரவெறி, பதவிமோகம் கொண்டவர்களுக்கு அது கேட்கக்கூடாத வேண்டாதசெய்தி. எனவேதான் ஏரோது ராஜா அவரது பிறப்பைக்கேட்டுக் கலக்கமடைந்தான். 

மேசியாவாகிய கிறிஸ்து பிறந்துள்ளார் என்று கேள்விப்பட்ட சாஸ்திரிகள் ஏரோது ராஜாவின் அரண்மனைக்கு வந்து, "யூதருக்கு ராஜாவாகப் பிறந்திருக்கிறவர் எங்கே? கிழக்கிலே அவருடைய நட்சத்திரத்தைக் கண்டு, அவரைப் பணிந்துகொள்ளவந்தோம் என்றார்கள். ஏரோது ராஜா அதைக் கேட்டபொழுது, அவனும் அவனோடுங்கூட எருசலேம் நகரத்தார் அனைவரும் கலங்கினார்கள்." ( மத்தேயு 2 : 2, 3 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

கிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்பில் நாம் பல்வேறு மனநிலையுள்ள மனிதர்களைப் பார்க்கின்றோம். மேசியா ராஜாவாக அரச குடும்பத்தில்தான் பிறப்பார் என்று சாஸ்திரிகள் எண்ணினார்கள்.  எனவே ஏரோதின் அரண்மனைக்குள் வந்து விசாரித்தார்கள். ஏரோது ராஜா தனது அரச பதவிக்கு ஆபத்து வந்துவிட்டது என்று எண்ணிக் கலங்கினான். எருசலேம் நகரத்தார்,  ஏற்கெனவே ஏரோதின் பதவி அதிகாரத்தின்கீழ் பல துன்பங்களை அனுபவித்தவர்கள். அவர்கள், இவனது துன்பமே பெரியதாக இருக்கின்றது, இதற்கிடையில் இன்னுமொரு ராஜா வேறு பிறந்துள்ளாரா என்று எண்ணிக் கலங்கினார்கள். ஆம், அவரது பிறப்பு பலருக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியையும் சிலருக்கு கலக்கத்தையும் கொண்டுவந்தது. 

ஆனால் தேவதூதர்சேனைகள் இடையர்களுக்கு வெளிப்பட்டபோது,  "உன்னதத்திலிருக்கிற தேவனுக்கு மகிமையும், பூமியிலே சமாதானமும், மனுஷர்மேல் பிரியமும் உண்டாவதாக என்று சொல்லி, தேவனைத் துதித்தார்கள்." ( லுூக்கா 2 : 14 ) அதாவது, கிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்பு உன்னதத்தில் பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்கு மகிமையான காரியமாக இருந்தது. கிறிஸ்து சமாதான காரணராக வந்தார். அவரால் இந்தப் பூமியில் சமாதானம் உண்டானது. மட்டுமல்ல, மனுஷர்மேல் பிரியம் எனும் அன்புணர்வு கிறிஸ்துவால் உலகுக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்டது. 

கிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்பு பலருக்கு விழுதல், பலருக்கு எழுப்புதல், சிலருக்கு கலக்கம், பலருக்கு மகிழ்ச்சி! ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் இருக்கும் மனநிலைதான் கிறிஸ்துப் பிறப்பின் மகிழ்ச்சியைக் கொடுக்கமுடியும். ஏரோதைப்போல பணம், பதவி, சிற்றின்பம் இவையே நமது நோக்கமென்றால் நிச்சயமாக கிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்பின் மகிழ்ச்சி நம்மை நிரப்ப முடியாது. மேய்ப்பர்களைப்போல தாழ்மையுள்ளவர்களாய் வாழ்வோமென்றால், நம்மால் உன்னதத்திலிருக்கிற தேவனுக்கு மகிமையும், பூமியிலே சமாதானமும், மனுஷர்மேல் பிரியமும் உண்டாகும்.  

கிறிஸ்துவை ஆலயத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்க அவரது தாய் மரியாள் கொண்டுவந்தபோது, சிமியோன் எனும்  தேவபக்தியுள்ள மனிதன் "அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்து, அவருடைய தாயாகிய மரியாளை நோக்கி: இதோ, அநேகருடைய இருதய சிந்தனைகள் வெளிப்படத்தக்கதாக, இஸ்ரவேலில் அநேகர் விழுகிறதற்கும் எழுந்திருக்கிறதற்கும், விரோதமாகப் பேசப்படும் அடையாளமாவதற்கும், இவர் நியமிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்." ( லுூக்கா 2 : 34 ) என்று தீர்க்கத்தரிசனமாக அறிவித்தார். 

ஆம், ஆண்டுகள் இரண்டாயிரம் கடந்தபின்னரும் சிமியோன் கூறியதே நடைபெற்றுக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. ஆனால், அவருக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக வாழும் நாம் பயப்படாதிருப்போம் ஏனெனில்  அவருடைய பிறப்பு இப்படி வாழும் எல்லா ஜனத்துக்கும் மிகுந்த சந்தோஷத்தை உண்டாக்கும் நற்செய்தியாக இருக்கின்றது.

📖 Bible Meditation No. 1783
🔆 Aathavan – Thursday, 25.12.2025

“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.’” (Luke 2:10–11)

Warm greetings to everyone on the blessed day of the birth of our Redeemer and Savior, Jesus Christ!

When we read in the Bible about the birth of Christ, we see that the announcement of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ was first made not to scholars or rulers, but to shepherds who were tending their flocks. Though the Scriptures had foretold the coming of the Messiah, and the wise men and experts in the Law were eagerly awaiting His birth, the news was not revealed to them first. Instead, it was revealed to humble, uneducated shepherds.

The angel’s proclamation of Christ’s birth begins with the comforting and empowering words, “Do not be afraid.” He further declares that he is announcing “good news of great joy for all the people.” The birth of Christ is indeed joyful news for everyone. However, for those driven by lust for power and position, it becomes unwelcome news. That is why King Herod was deeply troubled when he heard about Christ’s birth.

We read that when the Magi heard that the Messiah had been born, they came to King Herod’s palace and said:

“Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.” When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. (Matthew 2:2–3)

In the account of Christ’s birth, we encounter people with different states of mind. The Magi assumed that the Messiah would be born into a royal family, and therefore they inquired within Herod’s palace. Herod feared that his throne was under threat. The people of Jerusalem, who had already suffered much under Herod’s rule, were anxious, wondering whether the birth of another king would bring even greater trouble. Yes, Christ’s birth brought joy to many, but unrest to some.

But when the heavenly host appeared to the shepherds, they praised God, saying:

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among people with whom He is pleased.” (Luke 2:14)

This means that the birth of Christ brought glory to God the Father in the highest heaven. Christ came as the Prince of Peace, bringing peace to the earth. Not only that, through Christ, love and goodwill toward humanity were bestowed upon the world.

The birth of Christ becomes a cause of falling for some, rising for many; unrest for a few, and joy for many. Dearly beloved, it is our own inner disposition that determines whether we truly experience the joy of Christ’s birth. If, like Herod, our lives are driven by money, position, and worldly pleasures, the joy of Christ’s birth cannot fill our hearts. But if we live humbly like the shepherds, then through us, glory will be given to God in the highest, peace will prevail on earth, and goodwill will abound among people.

When Mary brought the infant Jesus to the temple to present Him to the Lord, a devout man named Simeon blessed them and prophesied, saying:

“Behold, this Child is appointed for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and for a sign to be opposed—so that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed.” (Luke 2:34–35)

Yes, even after two thousand years, what Simeon spoke continues to take place. But for those who live pleasing to Him, let us not be afraid, for His birth is truly the good news of great joy for all people who choose to live in accordance with His will.

🦋 Meditation verse - மத்தேயு 1 : 23 / Matthew 1:23

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1782                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 24.12.2025 புதன்     

"இதோ, ஒரு கன்னிகை கர்ப்பவதியாகி ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெறுவாள்; அவருக்கு இம்மானுவேல் என்று பேரிடுவார்கள் என்று சொன்னான். இம்மானுவேல் என்பதற்கு தேவன் நம்மோடிருக்கிறார் என்று அர்த்தமாம்." ( மத்தேயு 1 : 23 )

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் பிறப்புத் தற்செயலாக விபத்துபோல நடந்த ஒரு செயலல்ல. அது பிதாவாகிய தேவன் ஆதியில் ஏதேனில் கொடுத்த வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின் நிறைவு. சாத்தானின் வஞ்சக செயலுக்காகத் தேவன் சாத்தானைச் சபித்தார். அப்போது தேவன் கூறினார், "உனக்கும் ஸ்திரீக்கும், உன் வித்துக்கும் அவள் வித்துக்கும் பகை உண்டாக்குவேன்; அவர் உன் தலையை நசுக்குவார், நீ அவர் குதிகாலை நசுக்குவாய்." ( ஆதியாகமம் 3 : 15 )

தேவன் வாக்களித்த அந்தப் பெண்ணின் - மரியாளின் - வித்துதான் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. இதனை ஏசாயா மூலமும் தேவன் முன்னறிவித்தார். (ஏசாயா 7:14) இப்படி முன்குறிக்கப்பட்டுப் பிறந்த கிறிஸ்துவானவர் தான் இம்மானுவேலராக இருக்கிறார். அதாவது, தேவனாகிய அவர் நம்மோடு இருக்கிறார். 

தேவன் ஆதிகாலமுதல் மனிதர்களுக்குள் வாழுவதற்கு விருப்பமுள்ளவராகவே இருக்கிறார். அவர் மனிதர்களோடு மனிதராக வாழ விரும்புபவர். இதனை நாம்,  "நான் உங்கள் நடுவிலே உலாவி, உங்கள் தேவனாயிருப்பேன், நீங்கள் என் ஜனமாயிருப்பீர்கள்." ( லேவியராகமம் 26 : 12 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். நம் நடுவில் உலாவி, நம்மோடு வாழ விரும்புகின்றார் அவர்.  

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, காண முடியாத தேவன் மனிதர்களைப்போல இரத்தமும் சதையுமுள்ள மனிதனாக மாறி நம்முடனே வாழ்வதற்கு பூமியில் வந்த நாள்தான் கிறிஸ்துப் பிறப்பு நாளாகக் கொண்டாடப்படுகின்றது. இந்தக் கிறிஸ்துப் பிறப்பு நாளில் நாம் தேவன்  நம்மோடிருக்கிறார் என்பதனை நினைவுகூருகின்றோம்; இந்த நிகழ்வைக் கொண்டாடுகின்றோம். ஆனால், இந்த நாளில் கிறிஸ்துவை நாம் அறியாமல் வாழ்ந்துகொண்டு இந்த விழாவைக் கொண்டாடுவதில் அர்த்தமில்லை. அப்படிக் கொண்டாடுவது மற்ற சமயத்தினர் கொண்டாடும் சாதாரண விழாக்களைப்போலவே இருக்கும். 

ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் இருப்பது ஒரு இரகசியம். முதலாவது நாம் கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் இருக்கும் இந்த  இரகசியத்தை உணரவேண்டும்; அந்த அனுபவத்தைப் பெறவேண்டும். இதனையே, அப்போஸ்தலரான் பவுல், "கிறிஸ்துவானவர் மகிமையின் நம்பிக்கையாக உங்களுக்குள் இருப்பதே அந்த இரகசியம்." ( கொலோசெயர் 1 : 27 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். இந்த இரகசியத்தை வாழ்வில் அறியாமல்;  கிறிஸ்துவை அறியாமல்;  அவர் இம்மானுவேலராக நமக்குள் இருக்கிறார்  என்பதனை உணராமல் இருப்போமானால் நாம் கொண்டாடும் கிறிஸ்துப் பிறப்பு விழாவில் அர்த்தமில்லை.

இம்மானுவேல் என்று பெயரிடப்பட்ட கிறிஸ்து அந்தப் பெயருக்கேற்ப  நம்மோடிருக்கிறார்.  அவர் எங்கோ நான்கு சுவர்களுக்குள் அடைபட்டுக் கிடப்பவரல்ல, நமக்குள் வாழ்கின்றவர்;  அவர் எங்கோ இருந்துகொண்டு நமது துதியையும் வணக்கத்தையும் பெற்றுக்கொண்டு இருப்பவரல்ல;  மாறாக, அவர் நம்மோடு இருக்கிறவர். இந்தக் கிறிஸ்துவை அறிந்துகொள்ள முதலில் நமது பாவங்களை அவரிடம் அறிக்கையிடுவோம். அவரது இரத்தத்தால் கழுவப்பட மன்றாடுவோம். அப்போது அவர் நமக்குள் வந்து தங்குவார். ஆம், அவர் இம்மானுவேலர்; நம்மோடு வாழும் தேவன்.

“Within the Seeds” 🌳

🔆 AATHAVAN – Wednesday, 24.12.2025

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.” (Matthew 1:23)

The birth of our Lord Jesus Christ was not a coincidental or accidental event. It was the fulfilment of the promise given by God the Father in the beginning, in Eden. Because of Satan’s deceitful act, God pronounced a curse upon him and said,

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise Him on the heel.” (Genesis 3:15)

The seed of that promised woman—Mary—is none other than our Lord Jesus Christ. God also foretold this through the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 7:14). Thus, Christ, who was born according to prophecy, is Immanuel—meaning, God Himself is with us.

From the beginning of time, God has always desired to dwell among human beings. He longs to live with people and to walk among them. We read:

“I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.” (Leviticus 26:12) He desires to walk in our midst and live with us.

Yes, beloved, the invisible God became a human being of flesh and blood and came to this earth to dwell with us. That day is celebrated as the day of Christ’s birth. On Christmas Day, we remember and rejoice in the truth that God is with us. However, celebrating this festival without knowing Christ personally has no true meaning. Such a celebration becomes no different from the ordinary festivals observed by people of other faiths.

The indwelling of the Lord Jesus Christ within us is a profound mystery. First, we must understand this mystery—that Christ lives within us—and experience it personally. The Apostle Paul declares:

“Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27)

If we do not know this mystery in our lives, if we do not truly know Christ, and if we fail to realize that He dwells within us as Immanuel, then the Christmas celebration we observe is meaningless.

Christ, who is named Immanuel, truly lives according to His name. He is not confined somewhere within four walls; He lives within us. He is not One who remains far away merely receiving our praise and worship; rather, He is with us. To know this Christ, let us first confess our sins before Him and plead to be cleansed by His blood. Then He will come and dwell within us. Yes, He is Immanuel—the God who lives with us.
