🦋 Meditation verse - 2 கொரிந்தியர் 4 : 17 / 2 Corinthians 4:17

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1749                                  🔆 ஆதவன் 21.11.2025 வெள்ளி       

"மேலும் காணப்படுகிறவைகளையல்ல, காணப்படாதவைகளை நோக்கியிருக்கிற நமக்கு, அதிசீக்கிரத்தில் நீங்கும் இலேசான நம்முடைய உபத்திரவம் மிகவும் அதிகமான நித்திய கனமகிமையை உண்டாக்குகிறது." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 4 : 17 )

ஆவிக்குரிய காரியங்கள் அனைத்தும் நாம் விசுவாசக் கண்கொண்டு பார்த்து விசுவாசிக்கவேண்டியவை. பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக்கால பக்தர்களைப்போல நாம் கண்கொண்டு பார்த்து தேவனுக்குள் நடக்கவில்லை, மாறாக விசுவாசித்து நடக்கின்றோம். ஆம், "நாம் தரிசித்து நடவாமல், விசுவாசித்து நடக்கிறோம்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 5 : 6 )

இப்படி நாம் தேவனை நம்பி ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு வாழ  தேவன்மேல் நாம் கொள்ளும் விசுவாசமே காரணமாக இருக்கின்றது. ஏனெனில், "விசுவாசமானது நம்பப்படுகிறவைகளின் உறுதியும், காணப்படாதவைகளின் நிச்சயமுமாயிருக்கிறது." ( எபிரெயர் 11 : 1 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.  இப்படி,  காணப்படாதவைகளை நோக்கியிருக்கிற நமக்கு, அதிசீக்கிரத்தில் நீங்கும் இலேசான நம்முடைய உபத்திரவம் மிகவும் அதிகமான நித்திய கனமகிமையை உண்டாக்குகிறது என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

அதாவது இனிவரும் பரலோக வாழ்வு, நித்தியஜீவன், இவைகளை நாம் கண்ணால் காணவில்லை. ஆனால் அவை உண்மையானவை என்று வேதம் கூறுவதாலும் நமக்குமுன் வாழ்ந்த பரிசுத்தவான்கள் கூறுவதாலும் விசுவாசிக்கின்றோம். இப்படிக் காணாததை நாம் நம்பி விசுவாசித்து வாழ்வதுதான் விசுவாசவாழ்வு. இப்படி விசுவாச வாழ்வு வாழும்போது நாம் பல்வேறு உபத்திரவங்கள், துன்பங்களை அனுபவிக்கவேண்டியுள்ளது. ஆனால், இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது அவை யாவுமே அதி சீக்கிரமாக நீங்கிவிடும் என்று. மேலும், இதனை உபத்திரவம் என்று வெறுமனே கூறாமல், "லேசான உபத்திரவம்" என்று கூறுகின்றது.  

இந்த உலகத்தில் நாம் அனுபவிக்கும் பாடுகள் இனி வரவிருக்கும் மகிமைக்குமுன்னால் அற்பமானவைகளே; அவற்றோடு இந்தப் பாடுகளை ஒப்பிடமுடியாது. எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "இக்காலத்துப் பாடுகள் இனி நம்மிடத்தில் வெளிப்படும் மகிமைக்கு ஒப்பிடத்தக்கவைகள் அல்லவென்று எண்ணுகிறேன்". (ரோமர் 8:18) என்று கூறுகின்றார். ஆம்,  "ஏனெனில், காணப்படுகிறவைகள் அநித்தியமானவைகள், காணப்படாதவைகளோ நித்தியமானவைகள்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 4 : 18 )

எனவே, நாம் இந்தச் சிந்தனை உள்ளவர்களாக நமது ஆவிக்குரிய ஓட்டத்தைத் தொடரவேண்டியது அவசியம். உலகத்தில் நாம் காணும் துன்பங்கள், பிரச்சனைகள் இவை நமது விசுவாச வாழ்வைத் தகர்த்திடாமல் நாம் வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம். துன்பங்கள் தொடரும்போது, "அதிசீக்கிரத்தில் நீங்கும் இந்த இலேசான  உபத்திரவம்" என்றும்,  "நான் இப்போது அனுபவிக்கும் பாடுகள் இனி எனக்கு வெளிப்படவிருக்கும்  மகிமைக்கு ஒப்பிடத்தக்கவைகள் அல்ல" என்றும்  நமக்கு நாமே ஆறுதல் கூறிக்கொள்வோம்.  

அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் இப்படியே தனது வாழ்க்கைப் போராட்டத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து வெற்றிபெற்றார்; அதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் நமக்கு அறிவுரையாகக் கூறியுள்ளார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, காணப்படுகிறவைகளையல்ல, காணப்படாதவைகளை நோக்கியிருக்கிற நமக்கு, அதிசீக்கிரத்தில் நீங்கும் இலேசான நம்முடைய உபத்திரவம். எனவே, விசுவாசத்தோடு நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வைத் தொடருவோம்.

🔆 AATHAVAN – Friday, 21.11.2025

“For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison.” (2 Corinthians 4:17, NASB)

All spiritual matters are to be believed through the eyes of faith. Unlike the saints of the Old Testament, who often walked with God through visible experiences, we now walk by believing what we do not see. Yes, “for we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7, NASB)

It is our faith in God that enables us to accept Him and live for Him. For the Scripture says, “Now faith is the certainty of things hoped for, a proof of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1, NASB)

Thus, as today’s meditation verse declares, for those who fix their eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen, our momentary and light affliction is working out for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

We have not seen heaven. We have not seen eternal life. Yet we believe in them because the Word of God affirms them, and the saints who lived before us bore witness to these truths. This—believing what we do not see and living accordingly—is the life of faith.

When we walk the life of faith, we inevitably face afflictions, challenges, and sufferings. But today’s verse reminds us that all these troubles are temporary—they will pass away soon. Moreover, Scripture does not merely call them “afflictions,” but “light afflictions.”

The sufferings we endure in this world are insignificant when compared to the glory that awaits us. They cannot even be measured against the coming glory. That is why Apostle Paul says, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”(Romans 8:18, NASB)

Yes, “the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18, NASB)

Therefore, it is essential that we continue our spiritual race with this mindset. The afflictions, problems, and difficulties we see in this world should not shake our faith-walk. When troubles persist, let us comfort ourselves saying:

“This momentary, light affliction will pass soon.”

“The sufferings I experience now cannot be compared to the glory that is about to be revealed to me.”

This is how Apostle Paul pressed on through his life’s battles and emerged victorious. The same truth is given to us as counsel in today’s meditation verse. Dear beloved, since our focus is not on what is seen but on what is unseen, our afflictions remain light and momentary. Therefore, let us continue our spiritual journey with steadfast faith.

🦋 Meditation verse - 2 கொரிந்தியர் 4 : 8-9 / 2 Corinthians 4:8–9

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1748                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 20.11.2025 வியாழன்      

"நாங்கள் எப்பக்கத்திலும் நெருக்கப்பட்டும் ஒடுங்கிப்போகிறதில்லை; கலக்கமடைந்தும் மனமுறிவடைகிறதில்லை; துன்பப்படுத்தப்பட்டும் கைவிடப்படுகிறதில்லை; கீழே தள்ளப்பட்டும் மடிந்து போகிறதில்லை." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 4 : 8-9 )

கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள்  மெய்யான ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு வாழும் மனிதர்களது மனநிலை மற்றும் வாழ்க்கையினை  அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல் இன்றைய  தியான வசனத்தில் விளக்குகின்றார். 

துன்பங்கள், நெருக்கங்கள், சோர்வுகள், மனமடிவடைவுகள் இவைபோன்ற எதுவும் அவர்களை எதுவும் செய்திடமுடியாது. கைவிடப்பட்ட நிர்க்கதியான நிலை ஏற்பட்டாலும் தேவன் கூடவே இருக்கின்றார் எனும் உணர்வு நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வை வெற்றியுடன் தொடரச்செய்யும். 

இப்படிக் கூறுவதால் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு வாழ்பவர்கள் மனம் சோர்வடைவதில்லை என்று பொருளல்ல; மாறாக, அப்படி சோர்வடைந்தாலும் தேவன் மேலான ஒரு ஆவிக்குரிய அனுபவத்தைக்கொடுத்து அவர்களது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வை  உயிர்ப்பிப்பார். உலக மக்களைப்போல அவர்கள் தற்கொலைசெய்து அழிந்துபோகமாட்டார்கள்.

மிகப்பெரிய தீர்க்கத்தரிசியான எலியா யேசபேல் தன்னைக் கொலைசெய்ய முயலுவதை அறிந்தபோது  மனம் சோர்வடைந்து போனதை நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். "அவன் வனாந்தரத்தில் ஒருநாள் பிரயாணம் போய், ஒரு சூரைச்செடியின் கீழ் உட்கார்ந்து, தான் சாகவேண்டும் என்று கோரி: போதும் கர்த்தாவே, என் ஆத்துமாவை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளும்; நான் என் பிதாக்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் நல்லவன் அல்ல என்று சொல்லி, ஒரு சூரைச்செடியின்கீழ்ப் படுத்துக்கொண்டு நித்திரைபண்ணினான். ( 1 இராஜாக்கள் 19 : 4- 5 )

இத்தனைக்கும்  இதே எலியா கர்த்தரே மெய்யான தெய்வம் என்பதனை வானத்திலிருந்து அக்கினியை இறக்கி மெய்ப்பித்து 450 பாலால் தீர்க்கத்தரிசிகளைக் கொன்றுபோட்டவர். அப்படித் தைரியமாகச் செயல்பட்டவர் இப்போது ஒரு பெண்ணுக்குப் பயந்து, "கர்த்தாவே, என் ஆத்துமாவை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளும்" என்று ஜெபிக்கக்கூடிய பரிதாப நிலைக்கு வந்துவிட்டார். ஆனாலும், தேவன் அவரை மரிக்க விடவில்லை. "அப்பொழுது ஒரு தூதன் அவனைத் தட்டியெழுப்பி: எழுந்திருந்து போஜனம்பண்ணு என்றான்." ( 1 இராஜாக்கள் 19 : 5 ) தனது அடியான் பசியோடு படுத்திருப்பதை தேவனால் பார்த்துக்கொண்டு இருக்கமுடியவில்லை.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்று நாமும் இதுபோல சிலவேளைகளில் நெருக்கங்கள் ஏற்படும்போது சோர்ந்து போகலாம். ஆனால், தேவன் எலியாவுக்குச் செய்ததுபோல நம்மையும்  தட்டியெழுப்பி போஜனம் தருவார்.  இது ஏனென்றால், ஆவிக்குரிய நாம் நமது உடலில் இயேசுவின் மரணத்தின் சரீரத்தை எப்போதும்  சுமந்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றோம் என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். "கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவினுடைய ஜீவனும் எங்கள் சரீரத்திலே விளங்கும்படிக்கு, இயேசுவின் மரணத்தை எப்பொழுதும் எங்கள் சரீரத்தில் சுமந்து திரிகிறோம்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 4 : 10 )

எனவே அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் தைரியமாக நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வைத் தொடவோம். நாம் எப்பக்கத்திலும் நெருக்கப்பட்டும் ஒடுங்கிப்போவதில்லை; கலக்கமடைந்தும் மனமுறிவடைவதில்லை;  துன்பப்படுத்தப்பட்டும் கைவிடப்படுவதில்லை; கீழே தள்ளப்பட்டும் மடிந்து போவதில்லை. தேவனுடைய அன்பின் கரம் எப்போதும் நம்மோடு கூடஇருக்கும்.

🔆 AATHAVAN – Thursday, 20.11.2025

“We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” — 2 Corinthians 4:8–9 (NASB)

In today’s meditation verse, the Apostle Paul beautifully describes the mindset and life of those who truly live a spiritual life in Christ.

Trials, pressures, weariness, and discouragements cannot destroy them. Even in moments when they feel abandoned or helpless, the assurance that God is with them strengthens their spiritual walk and enables them to continue victoriously.

This does not mean that those who live spiritually never become discouraged. Rather, even when they do, God revives them with a deeper spiritual experience. They will not collapse or destroy themselves like people of the world, because God sustains their inner life.

Even the great prophet Elijah became discouraged when he heard that Jezebel intended to kill him. Scripture says:

“But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree; and he asked for himself to die, and said, ‘Enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers.’ Then he lay down and fell asleep under a juniper tree…” — 1 Kings 19:4–5 (NASB)

This is the same Elijah who called down fire from heaven and defeated 450 prophets of Baal, proving that the Lord alone is God. Yet this courageous man was frightened by one woman, and prayed in deep despair, “Lord, take my life.”

But God did not allow him to die:

“Then behold, an angel touched him and said to him, ‘Arise, eat.’”
— 1 Kings 19:5 (NASB)

God could not ignore His servant lying down in hunger and sorrow.

Dear beloved, we too may sometimes feel discouraged when pressures surround us. But just as God touched Elijah and fed him, He will strengthen and revive us as well.

Paul explains why: because spiritually, we always carry within our body the dying of Jesus.

“…always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be revealed in our body.” — 2 Corinthians 4:10 (NASB)

Therefore, beloved, let us boldly continue our spiritual journey.
We may be:

• Afflicted, yet not crushed
• Perplexed, yet not despairing
• Persecuted, yet not abandoned
• Struck down, yet not destroyed

For the loving hand of God is always with us.

🦋 Meditation verse - நீதிமொழிகள் 28 : 9 / Proverbs 28:9

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1747                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 19.11.2025 புதன்     

"வேதத்தைக் கேளாதபடி தன் செவியை விலக்குகிறவனுடைய ஜெபமும் அருவருப்பானது." ( நீதிமொழிகள் 28 : 9 )

பொதுவாக கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் அனைவருமே ஜெபிக்கின்றோம். ஆனால் நமது ஜெபங்களுக்கு பலவேளைகளில் தேவன் பதில் தருவதில்லை. இது தேவனது தவறல்ல, மாறாக பெரும்பாலும் நமது தவறாகவே இருக்கின்றது. நாம் ஜெபிப்பதை தேவன் கேட்கவேண்டுமானால் முதலில் அதற்கு நம்மைத் தகுதிப்படுத்தவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

தேவன் கேட்காத ஜெபங்களைக்குறித்து வேதத்தில் பல இடங்களில் நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். அவற்றில் முதலாவதாக வேதம் கூறுவது, பாவிகளுக்குத் தேவன் செவிகொடுப்பதில்லை என்பது. "பாவிகளுக்கு தேவன் செவிகொடுக்கிறதில்லையென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்; ஒருவன் தேவபக்தியுள்ளவனாயிருந்து அவருக்குச் சித்தமானதைச் செய்தால் அவனுக்குச் செவிகொடுப்பார்." (யோவான் 9:31)  

அடுத்து, பெருமைகொள்வது. தேவன் பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நிற்கின்றார். எனவே, அவர்களது ஜெபங்களை அவர் கேட்பதில்லை; அவர்களுக்கு அவர் எதிராகவே இருக்கின்றார்.  "அவர் அதிகமான கிருபையை அளிக்கிறாரே. ஆதலால் தேவன் பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு எதிர்த்து நிற்கிறார், தாழ்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்கோ கிருபை அளிக்கிறாரென்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறது." (யாக்கோபு 4:6)

மேலும், ஜெபம் என்பது வெறுமனே தேவனை நோக்கி நமது தேவைகளுக்காகக் கத்திக்கொண்டிருப்பதல்ல. அனால் பெரும்பாலானவர்கள் அப்படிதான் நினைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். நமது ஜெபம் கேட்கப்படாமலிருக்க இது ஒரு காரணம். அப்போஸ்தலரான யாக்கோபு கூறுகின்றார், "நீங்கள் விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணியும், உங்கள் இச்சைகளை நிறைவேற்றும்படி செலவழிக்கவேண்டுமென்று தகாதவிதமாய் விண்ணப்பம் பண்ணுகிறபடியினால், பெற்றுக்கொள்ளாமலிருக்கிறீர்கள்." ( யாக்கோபு 4 : 3 ) அதாவது, தேவ சித்தமில்லாத காரிங்களுக்காக ஜெபிப்பதை தேவன் கேட்பதில்லை. 

இப்படி, தேவன் கேட்க மறுக்கும் ஜெபங்களின் வரிசையில் இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது,  "வேதத்தைக் கேளாதபடி தன் செவியை விலக்குகிறவனுடைய ஜெபமும் அருவருப்பானது." என்று. "அதாவது தேவனும் வேண்டாம் அவரது வார்த்தைகளும் வேண்டாம் எனக்கு நான் கேட்பதுதான் வேண்டும்" என்று ஒருவர் கூறுவதற்கு இது ஒத்திருக்கின்றது. 

குமாரனாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பிதாவின் வார்த்தையாகவே இருக்கின்றார் என்று நாம் யோவான் சுவிசேஷத்தின் முதல் அதிகாரத்தில் முதல் வசனத்தில்  வாசிக்கின்றோம். "ஆதியிலே வார்த்தை இருந்தது, அந்த வார்த்தை தேவனிடத்திலிருந்தது, அந்த வார்த்தை தேவனாயிருந்தது"  (யோவான் 1;1) ஆதியில் தேவனோடு இருந்த அந்த வார்த்தையே கிறிஸ்துவாக மனித உடலெடுத்து உலகினில் வந்தார். "அந்த வார்த்தை மாம்சமாகி, கிருபையினாலும் சத்தியத்தினாலும் நிறைந்தவராய், நமக்குள்ளே வாசம்பண்ணினார்; அவருடைய மகிமையைக் கண்டோம்; அது பிதாவுக்கு ஒரே பேறானவருடைய மகிமைக்கு ஏற்ற மகிமையாகவே இருந்தது." (யோவான் 1;14) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

இந்தக் கிறிஸ்துவின் வார்த்தைகளே வேதம். இந்த வார்தைகளைக் கேட்காமல் இருப்பது அவரைப் புறம்பேத்  தள்ளுவது. அப்படி அவரது வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்க மனதில்லாமல், அவற்றுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிய மனமில்லாமல் இருந்துகொண்டு அவரிடம் ஜெபிக்கின்றோம் என்று கூறுவதில் அர்த்தமிருக்கின்றதா என்று நாம் எண்ணிப்பார்க்கவேண்டும். அத்தகைய ஜெபம் அருவருப்பானது என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

இன்று வேதாகம வார்த்தைகளுக்கு பல கிறிஸ்தவர்களும் செவிகொடுப்பதில்லை. அவர்கள் தாங்கள் சார்ந்திருக்கும் சபை போதனைகளுக்குக் கொடுக்கும் முக்கியத்துவத்தை தேவனுடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்குக் கொடுப்பதில்லை. ஆனால், துன்பங்களும் பிரச்சனைகளும் நெருக்கும்போது தேவ வார்த்தைகளைப் பிரசங்கிக்கும் ஊழியர்களைத்தேடி ஓடுகின்றனர். வார்த்தையான கிறிஸ்துவை நமக்குள் வரவழைப்போமானால் இப்படி ஓடவேண்டிய அவசியமே இல்லை. வேத வசனங்களுக்கு நமது செவியைச் சாய்த்து அவற்றுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியும்போது நமது ஜெபங்களுக்குத் தேவன் பதிலளிப்பதை நாம் அனுபவிக்கமுடியும்.

“He who turns his ear away from listening to the Law, Even his prayer is an abomination.” — Proverbs 28:9, NASB

All Christians generally pray. Yet many times, our prayers seem unanswered. This is not God’s fault; most often, the issue lies within us. If we want God to hear our prayers, we must first prepare ourselves to be worthy to be heard.

The Bible speaks in many places about prayers that God does not listen to. First, it clearly says that God does not hear sinners. “We know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him.” — John 9:31, NASB

Next comes pride. God stands against the proud; therefore He does not listen to their prayers, for He resists them.

“But He gives a greater grace. Therefore, it says, ‘GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT HE GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.’” — James 4:6, NASB

Furthermore, prayer is not merely shouting our needs at God. Unfortunately, that is what many think prayer to be, and this becomes the reason why their prayers remain unanswered. Apostle James says:
“You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.” — James 4:3, NASB. In other words, God does not answer prayers that are outside His will.

In this list of prayers God rejects, today’s meditation verse adds another:
“He who turns his ear away from listening to the Law, even his prayer is an abomination.” This is equivalent to saying, “I don’t want God, I don’t want His word — I only want what I desire.”

Jesus Christ, the Son, is Himself the very Word of God. We read this in the Gospel of John: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” — John 1:1, NASB

The same Word who existed with God in the beginning took human form and came into the world: “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” — John 1:14, NASB

These words of Christ form the Scriptures. To ignore these words is to push Him aside. If we are unwilling to hear His Word or obey it, how can we claim to be praying to Him? What meaning does such prayer have? Today’s verse calls such prayer an abomination.

Many Christians today do not give heed to the Scriptures. They give more importance to the teachings of the denomination they belong to than to the Word of God. But when troubles and burdens press them, they run searching for ministers who preach the Word. If the living Word—Christ Himself—dwells in us, we will not need to run anywhere.

When we incline our ears to the Scriptures and obey them, we will certainly experience God answering our prayers.

🦋 Meditation verse - யோவான் 17:3 / John 17:3

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1746                                  🔆 ஆதவன் 18.11.2025 செவ்வாய்    

"ஒன்றான மெய்த்தேவனாகிய உம்மையும் நீர் அனுப்பினவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவையும் அறிவதே நித்தியஜீவன்." (யோவான் 17:3)

இந்த உலக வாழ்வு கொஞ்ச நாளுக்குத்தான். ஆனால் இதன்பிறகு நாம் அனுபவிக்கப்போகும் வாழ்வு நித்திய பரலோக பேரின்பமாகவோ, நித்திய நரக அக்கினியாகவோ இருக்கும். நித்திய ஜீவன் எனும் முடிவில்லா பரலோக வாழ்வை நமக்கு அளிக்கவே கிறிஸ்து இயேசு உலகினில் வந்தார். அதனைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும்  வழியையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். அதாவது, நாம் நித்திய ஜீவனை அடையவேண்டுமானால் பிதாவாகிய தேவனையும் அவர் அனுப்பினவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவையும் அறிந்தவர்களாக வாழவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  

இன்று பிற மத சகோதரர்கள் அவர்கள் வணங்கும் தெய்வங்களுக்கு மாலை, அகர்பத்தி போன்றவற்றை ஏற்றி வழிபடுவதைப்  பார்த்துச் சில  கிறிஸ்தவர்களும் கிறிஸ்துவின் உருவப் படங்களுக்கும் சுரூபங்களுக்கும் அதுபோலச் செய்கின்றனர். இதுவே அவரை அன்பு செய்வது என எண்ணிக்கொள்கின்றனர். நாம் மெய்யாக கிறிஸ்துவிடம் அன்பு செலுத்துவோமானால் இதுபோன்ற செயல்பாடுகளுக்கு நாம் நீங்கலாகிவிடுவோம்; அவை நமக்கு அர்த்தமற்ற சடங்குகளாகத் தெரியவரும். இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறினார், "ஒருவன் என்னில் அன்பாயிருந்தால் அவன் என் வசனத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவான், அவனில் என் பிதா அன்பாயிருப்பார்; நாங்கள் அவனிடத்தில் வந்து அவனோடே வாசம்பண்ணுவோம்." ( யோவான் 14 : 23 )

அதாவது வெளியான சில பக்திக் செயல்பாடுகளல்ல, மாறாக அவரது கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்வதே அன்பு. எனவேதான் கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்புச் சீடனான யோவான்,  "நாம் தேவனுடைய    கற்பனைகளைக்  கைக்கொள்வதே  அவரிடத்தில் அன்புகூருவதாம்; அவருடைய கற்பனைகள் பாரமானவைகளுமல்ல." (1 யோவான் 5:3) என்று எழுதுகின்றார். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, அவரது கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதே அவரிடத்தில் அன்புகூருவதாகும். 

இன்று உலகத்தில் சில குடும்பங்களில் நடக்கும் காரியங்கள் இதனை நமக்குத் தெளிவாகப் புரியவைக்கும்.  சில குடும்பங்களில் பிள்ளைகள் எவ்வளவு நல்ல உயர்ந்த நிலையில் இருந்தாலும் தாய் தகப்பனைச்   சரியாகக் கவனிப்பது கிடையாது. உணவோ, பொருளாதார உதவியோ செய்வது கிடையாது. ஆதரவற்ற முதியோர்களாக அவர்கள் வாழ்ந்துகொண்டிருப்பர். ஆனால் அவர்கள் இறந்தவுடன் அதே பிள்ளைகள் ஓடிவந்து மிகச் சிறப்பாக அவர்களது இறுதிச் சடங்கையும் அதன்பின்னர் மேலான விருந்தையும் ஏற்பாடுசெய்வார்கள். 

இது அவர்கள் தாய் தகப்பனை நேசிப்பதால் அல்ல, மாறாகத் தங்களது செல்வச் செழிப்பையும் பதவியையும் மற்றவர்கள் பார்க்கவேண்டும் என்பதற்காகவே. உயிரோடிருக்கும் பெற்றோரை கவனிக்காமல், அவர்களுக்கு உதவாமல், அவர்கள் கேட்டதைக் கொடுக்காமல் அவர்கள் இறந்தபின்னர் இப்படித் தேவையில்லாத செயல்களைச்  செய்வது எப்படி அவர்களை அன்புசெய்வதாகும்? 

கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்விலும் பலர் இப்படியே இருக்கின்றனர். தங்களது ஆத்துமாவில் ஜீவனற்றவர்களாக இருந்துகொண்டு ஆலயங்களுக்கு ஆயிரக்கணக்கான உதவிகளைச் செய்கின்றனர். நாம் மேலே பார்த்த உதாரணத்தைப்போல  தாய் தகப்பனுக்கு எந்த உதவியும் செய்யாமல் இருந்துகொண்டு அவர்கள் இறந்தபின்னர் ஓடிவந்து சில செயல்களை செய்து தங்களது பெருமையை ஊருக்குக் காட்டும் மக்களைப்போல தங்களது செல்வச் செழிப்பை மற்றவர்களுக்கு வெளிக்காட்டுவதற்கு ஆலயங்களுக்கு உதவுகின்றனர்; முதன்மையான இடங்களையும் பெற்றுக்கொள்கின்றனர்.  

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறினார், "என் கற்பனைகளைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டு அவைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவனே என்னிடத்தில் அன்பாயிருக்கிறான், என்னிடத்தில் அன்பாயிருக்கிறவன் என் பிதாவுக்கு அன்பாயிருப்பான்; நானும் அவனில் அன்பாயிருந்து, அவனுக்கு என்னை வெளிப்படுத்துவேன்." ( யோவான் 14 : 21 )

ஆம், கிறிஸ்து நமக்கு வெளிப்படவேண்டுமானால் வெளியரங்கமான பக்திக் செயல்பாடுகளல்ல; மாறாக, அவரது கற்பனைகளை நாம் கைக்கொள்ளவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  நமது பாவங்களை அவரிடம் அறிக்கையிட்டு இரட்சிப்பைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள  வேண்டுவோம். அப்போதுதான் அவரது கற்பனைகளை நாம் ஆவியானவரின் துணையுடன் சரியாகக் கைக்கொள்ள முடியும்; பிதாவையும் குமாரனையும் அறிந்தவர்களாகி  அவர் அளிக்கும் நித்திய ஜீவனையும் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளமுடியும்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1746
AATHAVAN — 18.11.2025, Tuesday

“This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” (John 17:3, NASB)

The life we live in this world is only for a short while. But the life we will experience after this will either be everlasting heavenly joy or eternal hellfire. Christ Jesus came into the world to give us eternal life — that endless heavenly life. The way to receive this eternal life is stated by Jesus Christ in today’s meditation verse. If we desire to inherit eternal life, we must live as those who know God the Father and Jesus Christ whom He has sent.

Today, some Christians observe people of other religions offering garlands, incense, and similar items before their gods, and they begin doing the same to images or statues of Christ, thinking this is an expression of love. But if we truly love Christ, we will detach ourselves from such practices; they will appear as meaningless rituals. Jesus Christ said, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.” (John 14:23, NASB)

Thus, love for Christ is not expressed through outward religious performances, but by keeping His commandments. That is why John, the beloved disciple of Christ, wrote, “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.” (1 John 5:3, NASB)

Yes, beloved, obedience to His commandments is what it means to love Him.

Even in today’s world, certain things that happen in families help us understand this clearly. Some children, no matter how well-settled they are, do not properly care for their aging parents. They provide no food, no financial help, no support. Their parents live as neglected elderly persons. But when these parents die, the same children rush in, conduct grand funeral rites, and host elaborate memorial meals.

They do not do these things out of love for their parents, but only to showcase their wealth and social status to others. How can a child claim to love their parents if they refused to care for them while they were alive, yet perform unnecessary rituals after their death?

Many Christians behave the same way in their spiritual life. While their souls remain lifeless, they offer huge donations to churches. Like children who neglect their parents when alive but run to perform rituals after death, these people give to the church only to display their wealth, gaining recognition and prominent positions among others.

But Jesus Christ said, “The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.” (John 14:21, NASB)

Yes — for Christ to reveal Himself to us, outward devotional acts are not the requirement; rather, we must keep His commandments. We must confess our sins to Him and receive salvation. Only then, with the help of the Holy Spirit, will we be able to obey His commandments correctly. Then we will come to truly know the Father and the Son and receive the eternal life He gives.

🦋 Meditation verse - 2 கொரிந்தியர் 3 : 5 / 2 Corinthians 3:5

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1745                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 17.11.2025 திங்கள்   

"எங்களால் ஏதாகிலும் ஆகும் என்பதுபோல ஒன்றை யோசிக்கிறதற்கு நாங்கள் எங்களாலே தகுதியானவர்கள் அல்ல; எங்களுடைய தகுதி தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 3 : 5 )

இன்று உலகினில் ஆயிரக்கணக்கான தொழில் நிறுவனங்களும் பெரிய பெரிய தொழிச்சாலைகளும் உள்ளன. ஒவ்வொரு நிறுவனங்களிலும் பல ஆயிரம்பேர் பணிபுரிகின்றனர். இது தவிர, நாடுகளின் அரசாங்கமானது மிகப்பெரிய வேலைவாய்ப்பை மக்களுக்கு அளிக்கின்றது. கோடிக்கணக்கான மக்கள் அரசுத் துறைகளில் பணிபுரிகின்றனர். இவர்களில் எல்லோரும் தேவனால் தகுதிபெற்றவர்களா? பெரும்பாலானவர்கள் தேவனை அறியாதவர்கள் அல்லவா? ஆனாலும் அனைத்தும் சிறப்பானதாகத்தானே நடைபெறுகின்றது? அப்படியானால் "எங்களுடைய தகுதி தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது." இன்றைய தியான வசனம் சொல்வது பொய்யா?

அன்பானவர்களே, வேதாகம வார்த்தைகளுக்கு நாம் எப்போதுமே ஆவிக்குரிய பொருளையே காணவேண்டும். இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தை நாம் வெறுமனே உலகக் கண்ணோட்டத்தில் பார்ப்போமானால் நமக்கு இது வெற்று வார்த்தைகள் போலவே இருக்கும். இன்று பலரும் வேதாகம  வார்த்தைகளை மக்கள்  சரியாகப் புரிந்துகொள்ளாததற்கு இதுதான் காரணம். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் நூறு சதவிகிதம் ஆவிக்குரிய அர்த்தம் கொண்டது. நாம் தேவனுக்கு முற்றிலும் ஏற்புடையவர்களாக வாழவேண்டுமானால் அதுபற்றி யோசிக்கிறதற்கு நாம் தகுதியானவர்கள் அல்ல;  நமது சுய முயற்சிகள் மூலம் நாம் பரிசுத்தமாகி தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்கள் ஆகமுடியாது என்று பொருள்; கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் வராமல் ஆவிக்குரிய சிந்தனையும் செயல்பாடுகளும் நம்மில் உருவாகாது என்று பொருள். 

இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "நானே திராட்சைச்செடி, நீங்கள் கொடிகள். ஒருவன் என்னிலும் நான் அவனிலும் நிலைத்திருந்தால், அவன் மிகுந்த கனிகளைக் கொடுப்பான்; என்னையல்லாமல்  உங்களால்    ஒன்றும்   செய்யக்கூடாது." (யோவான் 15:5) என்று கூறினார். தண்டோடு இணைந்திருக்கும் திராட்சைக் கொடியானது அந்தத் தண்டுமூலம் செடியின் சாரதைப்பெற்று கனி கொடுப்பதுபோல கிறிஸ்துவோடு இணைந்து இருக்கும்போது மட்டுமே நம்மால் கனிகொடுக்கமுடியும். 

தண்டோடு இணைந்திருப்பதுதான் நமது தகுதி. அந்தத் தகுதியை இழந்துவிட்டோமானால் நம்மால் எதுவும் செய்யமுடியாது. "ஒருவன் என்னில் நிலைத்திராவிட்டால், வெளியே எறியுண்ட கொடியைப்போல அவன் எறியுண்டு உலர்ந்துபோவான்; அப்படிப்பட்டவைகளைச் சேர்த்து, அக்கினியிலே போடுகிறார்கள்; அவைகள் எரிந்துபோகும்." ( யோவான் 15 : 6 ) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறவில்லையா?

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் கிறிஸ்துவோடு இணைக்கப்படாவிட்டால் நம்மால்  ஏதாகிலும் ஆகும் என்பது சிந்திக்கக்கூட முடியாதது. அப்படி வாழ நாம்  தகுதியானவர்கள் அல்ல.  இதற்கு நம்மைத் தகுதிபடுத்துபவர் பிதாவாகிய தேவனே. எனவேதான், எங்களுடைய தகுதி தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது என்று பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர் கூறுகின்றார். 

நம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும், "பிதாவானவர் எனக்குக் கொடுக்கிறயாவும் என்னிடத்தில் வரும், என்னிடத்தில் வருகிறவனை நான் புறம்பே தள்ளுவதில்லை." (யோவான் 6:37) என்றார். நமது  சுய முயற்சிகளல்ல; தேவனது கரமே நம்மைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்கிட முடியும். அவருக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம்.

📖 Scripture Meditation No. 1745
🔆 AATHAVAN – Monday, 17.11.2025

“Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God.” — 2 Corinthians 3:5 (NASB)

Today, there are thousands of industries and large manufacturing units around the world. In each of these, thousands of people are employed. Beyond that, the governments of various nations provide enormous job opportunities; millions work in government sectors. Are all of these people “made adequate by God”? Are not most of them people who do not know God? Yet everything seems to function efficiently. If so, does today’s Scripture verse — “our adequacy is from God” — become untrue?

Beloved, whenever we read the Word of God, we must always look for its spiritual meaning. If we try to interpret today’s verse only from a worldly standpoint, it will appear meaningless. This is exactly why many people today fail to understand Scripture properly.

Today’s meditation verse carries 100% spiritual significance. If we desire to live in a way that is completely pleasing to God, we are not adequate in ourselves to even think about such things. No amount of our own effort can make us holy or acceptable before God. Unless Christ dwells in us, spiritual thoughts and spiritual actions cannot be birthed within us.

That is why Jesus Christ said:

“I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5 (NASB)

Just as a branch connected to the vine receives nourishment through the stem and bears fruit, only when we remain connected to Christ can we bear fruit.

Remaining connected to the Vine — that is our adequacy. If we lose that connection, we become capable of nothing. Did not Jesus warn:

“If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown away like a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.” — John 15:6 (NASB)

Yes, beloved, without being united with Christ in our spiritual life, we cannot even imagine becoming anything useful for God. We are not adequate in ourselves. It is God the Father who makes us adequate. That is why the Apostle Paul boldly says, “our adequacy is from God.”

Our Lord Jesus Christ also declared:

“Everything that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I certainly will not cast out.” — John 6:37 (NASB)

It is not our own effort — it is the hand of God that sanctifies us. Let us surrender ourselves to Him.

🦋 Meditation verse - 2 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 14 / 2 Corinthians 2:14

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1744                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 16.11.2025 ஞாயிறு  

"கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் எப்பொழுதும் எங்களை வெற்றிசிறக்கப்பண்ணி, எல்லா இடங்களிலேயும் எங்களைக் கொண்டு அவரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிற தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 14 )

தேவனுக்குள் சிறப்பான ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்க்கை நாம் வாழ்வோமானால் தேவன் நமக்கும் நம்மைக்கொண்டு பிறருக்கும்  செய்யும் காரியங்களை இன்றைய தியான வசனம் எடுத்துக்கூறுவதாக இருக்கின்றது.

நாம் சிறப்பான ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வு வாழ்வோமானால் அது உலக காரியமாக இருந்தாலும், ஆவிக்குரிய காரியமாக இருந்தாலும் சரி, தேவனது கரம் எப்போதும் நம்மோடு இருக்கும் என்பதால் முதலாவது, நம்மை அவர் எப்பொழுதும் வெற்றிசிறக்கப்பண்ணுவார். 

இரண்டாவது, தேவ கரம் நம்மோடு இருப்பதால் நாம் ஒரு சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழமுடியும். அந்தச் சாட்சி வாழ்க்கையையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் அவரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனை என்று கூறுகின்றது. நாம் செல்லும் எல்லா இடங்களிலேயும் நம்மைக்கொண்டு அவரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனையை அவர் மக்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துவார். அதாவது நமது சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கைமூலம் கிறிஸ்து மகிமைப்படுவார். 

ஆனால், இந்தக் கிறிஸ்துவின் வாசனையை எல்லோரும் உணர முடியாது. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த உலகத்தில் கிறிஸ்து வாழ்ந்தபோதுகூட எல்லா மக்களும் அவரது வாசனையை உணரவில்லை. எனவேதான் அவரைக் கொலைசெய்தனர். கிறிஸ்துவின் வாசனை மனம்திரும்ப விருப்பமில்லாத மக்களுக்கு வாசனையாகத் தெரியாது. எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "கெட்டுப்போகிறவர்களுக்குள்ளே மரணத்திற்கேதுவான மரணவாசனையாகவும், இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிறவர்களுக்குள்ளே ஜீவனுக்கேதுவான ஜீவவாசனையாகவும் இருக்கிறோம்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 16 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நாம் அனைவருமே கிறிஸ்துவின் வாசனையை உலகிற்கு வெளிப்படுத்த அழைக்கப்படுகின்றோம். கிறிஸ்துவை அறியாத மக்கள் நம்மூலம் அவரை அறியும் அறிவின் வாசனையை அனுபவிக்கவேண்டும். 

எனவே, கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நாம் வெறுமனே வழிபாடுகளில் கலந்துகொண்டு கலைந்து செல்வது போதாது. கிறிஸ்து நமது உள்ளே வந்து நம்மை உயிர்ப்பிக்க இடம்தரவேண்டியது அவசியம். எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல், "கிறிஸ்து உங்களிலிருந்தால் சரீரமானது பாவத்தினிமித்தம் மரித்ததாயும்,  ஆவியானது  நீதியினிமித்தம் ஜீவனுள்ளதாயும் இருக்கும்." (ரோமர் 8:10) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

தனிப்பட்ட விதத்தில் கிறிஸ்துவோடுள்ள உறவில் வலுப்பெற்று வாழும்போது நமது ஆவியானது ஜீவனுள்ளதாக இருக்கும். நம்மிடம் அத்தகைய ஜீவன் இருந்தால் மட்டுமே நாம் மற்றவர்களுக்கு கிறிஸ்துவின் வாசனையை வெளிப்படுத்த முடியும். 

ஆராதனைக் கிறிஸ்தவர்களாக இல்லாமல் கிறிஸ்துவை நமக்குள் வரவேற்போம். அப்போது நாம் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் எப்பொழுதும் வெற்றிசிறப்படைவோம்; நாம் செல்லும் எல்லா இடங்களிலேயும் அவரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனையை நம்மூலம் தேவன் வெளிப்படுத்துவார்.  அவருக்கே துதியும் ஸ்தோத்திரமும்.

Bible Meditation No. 1744

“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.” — 2 Corinthians 2:14, NASB

Today’s meditation verse explains what God does in us and through us for others when we live a spiritually enriched life in Him.

When we live a life that is excellent in the Spirit—whether it concerns worldly matters or spiritual ones—God’s hand will always be with us. Therefore:

1. He Always Leads Us in Triumph

When His hand is upon us, He causes us to triumph at all times.

2. He Makes Our Life a Testimony

Because God is with us, we can live a life filled with testimony. The Scripture calls this testimony “the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him.”

Wherever we go, God will reveal this fragrance of Christ through us to others. In other words, Christ is glorified through our testimony-filled life.

But not everyone can perceive this fragrance of Christ. Yes, dearly beloved, even when Christ lived in this world, not everyone sensed His fragrance. That is why they crucified Him. The fragrance of Christ cannot be sensed by those who refuse to repent. Therefore, the Apostle Paul says:

“to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life.” — 2 Corinthians 2:16, NASB

As Christians, we are all called to reveal the aroma of Christ to the world. Those who do not know Christ should experience the fragrance of the knowledge of Him through us.

Therefore, it is not enough for Christians to merely attend worship services and leave. We must give Christ room to enter our lives and revive us. That is why the Apostle Paul says:

“If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.” — Romans 8:10, NASB

When we strengthen our personal relationship with Christ and live in Him, our spirit becomes alive. Only when we possess such life within us can we reveal the fragrance of Christ to others.

Let us not be mere “Sunday Christians.” Let us welcome Christ into our hearts.

Then we will always be led in triumph in Christ; and everywhere we go, God will make known through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him.

To Him alone be praise and thanksgiving.
