 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1740                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 12.11.2025 புதன்    

"மேலும் கிறிஸ்து உங்களிலிருந்தால் சரீரமானது பாவத்தினிமித்தம் மரித்ததாயும், ஆவியானது நீதியினிமித்தம் ஜீவனுள்ளதாயும் இருக்கும்." ( ரோமர் 8 : 10 )

கிறிஸ்து நாமக்குள் இருக்கின்றார் என்பதற்கு ஒரு அளவுகோல் இன்றைய தியான வசனமாகும். அதாவது நாம் பெயரளவுக்கு கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று கூறிக்கொள்வதிலும் ஆலயங்களுக்குச் செல்வதிலும் அர்த்தமில்லை. மாறாக, நாம் உண்மையாகவே கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்றால் கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் வந்து தங்கியிருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்படி கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் வரும்போது நாம் அவரோடுகூட பாவத்துக்கு மரித்தவர்களாகின்றோம். இதுவே கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்வு; மற்ற எந்த மார்க்கங்களும் காட்டாத, கிறிஸ்தவம் காட்டும்  மேலான பாதை.  

நாம் மரித்துவிட்டோமானால் நமது உடலின் எந்த உறுப்பும் வேலைசெய்யாது. எனவே நாம் நமது உடல் உறுப்புக்களால் எந்தப் பாவமும் செய்யமுடியாது. கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் வரும்போது நாம் பாவத்துக்கு மரிக்கின்றோம். எனவேதான், "மரித்தவன் பாவத்துக்கு நீங்கி விடுதலையாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறானே" (ரோமர் 6:7) என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர்.  

இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், "கிறிஸ்து உங்களிலிருந்தால் சரீரமானது பாவத்தினிமித்தம் மரித்ததாயும், ஆவியானது நீதியினிமித்தம் ஜீவனுள்ளதாயும் இருக்கும்" என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். மேலும், கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆவியின் பிரமாணம், பாவம், அதன் விளைவான நித்திய மரணம் இவைகளிலிருந்தும் நம்மை விடுகின்றது. "கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினாலே ஜீவனுடைய ஆவியின் பிரமாணம் என்னைப் பாவம் மரணம் என்பவைகளின் பிரமாணத்தினின்று விடுதலையாக்கிற்றே" (ரோமர் 8:2) என்று கூறுகின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இதற்காகவே பிதாவாகிய தேவன் தனது குமாரனாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை உலகினில் அனுப்பினார். அவர் சிலுவையில் பலியாகி தனது மாம்சத்தினாலே நமது பாவங்களை நிவிர்த்திசெய்தார். "அதெப்படியெனில், மாம்சத்தினாலே பலவீனமாயிருந்த நியாயப்பிரமாணம் செய்யக்கூடாததை தேவனே செய்யும்படிக்கு, தம்முடைய குமாரனைப் பாவமாம்சத்தின் சாயலாகவும், பாவத்தைப் போக்கும் பலியாகவும் அனுப்பி, மாம்சத்திலே பாவத்தை ஆக்கினைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்த்தார்".(ரோமர் 8:3)

இன்று உலகத்தில் பலர் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டு துவங்கும்போதும் ஏதாவது ஒரு பாவ காரியத்தை விட்டுவிடவேண்டுமென்று மனதில் உறுதியெடுக்கின்றனர். ஆனால், அவர்களால் ஒருசில நாட்களுக்குமேல் அந்த உறுதியில் நிலைத்திருக்க முடிவதில்லை. காரணம், எந்த மனிதனாலும் இதனைச் செய்ய முடியாது. ஆம், கிறிஸ்து நமக்குள் இருந்தால் மட்டுமே நம் பாவத்துக்கு நீங்கலாகிவிடமுடியும்;  நமது சுய முயற்சிகளினால் நம்மால் பாவத்திலிருந்து விடுதலை பெறமுடியாது. 

இதனையே பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர், "அதெப்படியெனில், என்னிடத்தில், அதாவது, என் மாம்சத்தில், நன்மை வாசமாயிருக்கிறதில்லையென்று நான் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; நன்மை செய்யவேண்டுமென்கிற விருப்பம் என்னிடத்திலிருக்கிறது நன்மை செய்வதோ என்னிடத்திலில்லை. ஆதலால் நான் விரும்புகிற நன்மையைச் செய்யாமல், விரும்பாத தீமையையே செய்கிறேன்." ( ரோமர் 7 : 18-19 ) என்கிறார். 

ஆம், நமது சுய முயற்சிகளல்ல; மாறாக,  கிறிஸ்துவே  நம்மை விடுவிக்க முடியும்.   "ஆகையால் குமாரன்  உங்களை  விடுதலையாக்கினால் மெய்யாகவே விடுதலையாவீர்கள்." (யோவான் 8:36) என்றார் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. அவருக்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். அவர் நமக்குள் வரும்போது இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதன்படி, நமது சரீரமானது பாவத்தினிமித்தம் மரித்ததாயும், ஆவியானது நீதியினிமித்தம் ஜீவனுள்ளதாயும் இருக்கும்.

🔆 AATHAVAN – Wednesday, 12 November 2025

“If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.” (Romans 8:10, NASB)

Today’s meditation verse gives us a clear measure of what it means for Christ to dwell in us. Merely calling ourselves Christians by name or attending church services has no meaning unless Christ truly lives in us. If we are genuine Christians, Christ must have come to dwell within us. When Christ comes into us, we die to sin along with Him. This is the essence of the Christian life — a higher way that no other religion shows.

When a person dies, none of his bodily organs function. Likewise, if we are dead to sin, we can no longer use our bodies to commit sin. When Christ dwells in us, we die to sin. That is why the Apostle Paul says,

“For the one who has died is freed from sin.” (Romans 6:7, NASB)

This is what we read again in today’s verse:

“If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.” (Romans 8:10, NASB)

Moreover, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus frees us from sin and from the eternal death that follows it. As Paul declares,

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.” (Romans 8:2, NASB)

Yes, beloved, this is precisely why God the Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into this world. On the cross, He offered Himself as a sacrifice, and by His flesh, He dealt with our sin once for all. As it is written:

“For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh.” (Romans 8:3, NASB)

Today, many people resolve at the beginning of a new year to give up some sinful habit. But most of them fail to keep their resolution beyond a few days. Why? Because no human being can overcome sin by his own strength. Only Christ living within us can deliver us from sin. Human effort alone can never bring victory over sin.

That is why Paul confesses,

“For I know that good does not dwell in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want.” (Romans 7:18–19, NASB)

Yes, it is not by our own efforts but by Christ alone that we are set free. The Lord Jesus Himself said, “So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36, NASB)

Let us therefore surrender ourselves to Him. When Christ comes to dwell in us, as today’s verse declares, “though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.”

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 51 : 2 / Isaiah 51:2

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1739                                  🔆 ஆதவன் 11.11.2025 செவ்வாய்   

"உங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய ஆபிரகாமையும், உங்களைப் பெற்ற சாராளையும் நோக்கிப்பாருங்கள்; அவன் ஒருவனாயிருக்கையில் நான் அவனை அழைத்து, அவனை ஆசீர்வதித்து, அவனைப் பெருகப்பண்ணினேன்." ( ஏசாயா 51 : 2 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் ஆபிரகாமையும் சாராளையும் நோக்கிப்பார்க்க நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. வெறுமனே நோக்கிப்பார்க்க மட்டுமல்ல, அவர்களது விசுவாச வாழ்வை நாம் முன்மாதிரியாகக் கொண்டு வாழவேண்டும் என நம்மை அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது; அந்த விசுவாச வாழ்க்கைமூலம் அவர்கள் பெற்றுக்கொண்டதுபோல நாமும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெறவேண்டும் என நம்மை அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது. 

ஆபிரகாமின் விசுவாசத்தைக்குறித்து நாம் அனைவருமே பல்வேறு முறை வேதாகமத்தில் வாசித்துள்ளோம். "தேவனுடைய வாக்குத்தத்தத்தைக்குறித்து அவன் அவிசுவாசமாய்ச் சந்தேகப்படாமல், தேவன் வாக்குத்தத்தம்பண்ணினதை நிறைவேற்ற வல்லவராயிருக்கிறாரென்று முழு நிச்சயமாய் நம்பி, தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தி, விசுவாசத்தில் வல்லவனானான்." ( ரோமர் 4 : 20-21 ) என்று ஆபிரகாமைக்குறித்துக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

ஆபிரகாம் தனது வாழ்வில் விசுவாசத்தை இரண்டுமுறை மெய்ப்பித்தார். முதலாவது, தேவன் அவருக்கு ஈசாக்கை வாக்களித்தபோது. பிள்ளையற்றிருந்த அபிரகாமுக்குத் தேவன் ஒரு மகனைத் தருவேன் என வாக்களித்தபோது  அவரது வயது ஏறக்குறைய 75. ஆனாலும், தேவனது வாக்குத்தத்ததை ஆபிரகாம் விசுவாசித்தார். "அவன் விசுவாசத்திலே பலவீனமாயிருக்கவில்லை; அவன் ஏறக்குறைய நூறு வயதுள்ளவனாயிருக்கும்போது, தன் சரீரம் செத்துப்போனதையும், சாராளுடைய கர்ப்பம் செத்துப்போனதையும் எண்ணாதிருந்தான்." ( ரோமர் 4 : 19 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அவரது விசுவாசத்தின்படியே அவருக்கு 100 வயதானபோது மகன் ஈசாக்குப் பிறந்தான். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இருபத்தைந்து ஆண்டுகள் அவர் தேவனை விசுவாசித்துக் காத்திருந்தார்; இந்த இருபத்தைந்து ஆண்டுகளில் அவரது நம்பிக்கையைக்குறித்து பலர் அவரைக் கேலி பேசியிருக்கலாம். பைத்தியகாரக் கிழவன் என்று எண்ணியிருக்கலாம். ஆனால், அவர்  தேவன் வாக்குத்தத்தம்பண்ணினதை நிறைவேற்ற வல்லவராயிருக்கிறாரென்று முழு நிச்சயமாய் நம்பி, தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தி, விசுவாசத்தில் வல்லவனானார்.

இரண்டாவதாக, தேவன் அந்த ஒரே மகன் ஈசாக்கைத் தனக்குத் தகனபலியாகக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும் என்று கூறியபோதும் ஆபிரகாம் தனது விசுவாசத்தை மெய்ப்பித்தார். தேவனது வார்தைக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து மகனைப் பலி செலுத்தத் தயாரானார். இதுகுறித்து தனது மனைவி சாராளிடம் கூறினால் அவள் சம்மதிக்கமாட்டாள்; மட்டுமல்ல, தடைசெய்வாள் என்று கருதியதால் அவளிடம்கூட இதனை அவர் தெரிவிக்கவில்லை. இதுவும் அவர் தேவன்மேல் கொண்டிருந்த விசுவாசத்தினால்தான். 

"ஈசாக்கினிடத்தில் உன் சந்ததி விளங்கும் என்று அவனோடே சொல்லப்பட்டிருந்ததே; இப்படிப்பட்ட வாக்குத்தத்தங்களைப் பெற்றவன், மரித்தோரிலிருந்துமெழுப்ப தேவன் வல்லவராயிருக்கிறாரென்றெண்ணி, தனக்கு ஒரேபேறானவனையே பலியாக ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தான்; மரித்தோரிலிருந்து அவனை பாவனையாகத் திரும்பவும் பெற்றுக்கொண்டான்." ( எபிரெயர் 11 : 18- 19 )

அதாவது, ஏற்கெனவே தேவன் கடற்கரை மணலைப்போலவும் வானத்து நட்சத்திரங்களைப்போலவும் உனது சந்ததியைப் பெருகச் செய்வேன் என ஆபிரகாமுக்கு வாக்களித்திருந்தார். மேலும், "ஈசாக்கினிடத்தில் உன் சந்ததி விளங்கும்" (ஆதியாகமம் 21:12)என்றும் கூறியிருந்தார். எனவே, இப்படிக் கூறிய தேவன் அதனை நிச்சயமாய் நிறைவேற்றுவார் என ஆபிரகாம் விசுவாசித்தார். எனவே ஈசாக்கைத் தான் பலியாக ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தாலும் அவனை  மரித்தோரிலிருந்து எழுப்பவும்  தேவன் வல்லவராயிருக்கிறாரென்றெண்ணி, விசுவாசத்துடன் ஈசாக்கைப் பலிசெலுத்த முன்வந்தார். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் இந்தக் காரியங்களை நாம் எண்ணிப்பார்க்கவேண்டும் என்று கூறுகின்றது. ஆபிரகாமை நாம் விசுவாசத்தின் தந்தை என்று கூறுவது இதனால்தான்.  நாம் நமது வாழ்வில் எதிர்மறையான ஏதாவது நடந்துவிட்டால் அல்லது நமது ஜெபத்துக்கு உடனேயே பதில் கிடைக்காவிட்டால் கலங்குகின்றோம்; அவிசுவாச எண்ணம் கொள்ளுகின்றோம். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, அத்தகைய வேளைகளில் ஆபிரகாமை எண்ணிப்பார்ப்பார்ப்போம். 

"விசுவாசத்தினாலே சாராளும் வாக்குத்தத்தம்பண்ணினவர் உண்மையுள்ளவரென்றெண்ணி, கர்ப்பந்தரிக்கப் பெலனடைந்து, வயதுசென்றவளாயிருந்தும் பிள்ளைபெற்றாள். ஆனபடியால், சரீரஞ்செத்தவனென்று எண்ணத்தகும் ஒருவனாலே, வானத்திலுள்ள பெருக்கமான நட்சத்திரங்களைப்போலவும் கடற்கரையிலுள்ள எண்ணிறந்த மணலைப்போலவும், மிகுந்த ஜனங்கள் பிறந்தார்கள்." ( எபிரெயர் 11 : 11- 12 )

இன்றைய வசனம் கூறுவதன்படி, நாம்  தகப்பனாகிய ஆபிரகாமையும், தாயாகிய சாராளையும் நோக்கிப்பார்ப்போம்; தேவன்மேலுள்ள விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதிகொள்வோம்.

🔆 AATHAVAN – Tuesday, 11 November 2025

“Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who gave birth to you in pain; When he was only one I called him, Then I blessed him and multiplied him.” — Isaiah 51:2 (NASB)

Today’s meditation verse instructs us to look to Abraham and Sarah. It not only tells us to merely look at them but also urges us to take their life of faith as our model and live accordingly. Through such a life of faith, we too are encouraged to receive blessings just as they received them.

We have often read in Scripture about the faith of Abraham. It is written:

“Yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.” — Romans 4:20–21 (NASB)

Abraham proved his faith in two great moments of his life.

First, when God promised him a son, Abraham was around seventy-five years old. Though childless, he believed God’s promise that He would give him a son.

“Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.” — Romans 4:19 (NASB)

Just as he believed, the promise was fulfilled when he was one hundred years old, and Isaac was born.

Yes, beloved, for twenty-five long years Abraham waited in faith for God’s promise to come true. During those years, many may have mocked him—calling him a foolish old man for still believing in a promise. Yet Abraham did not doubt. He was “fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform,” and thus he glorified God through steadfast faith.

Second, Abraham demonstrated his faith when God asked him to offer his only son Isaac as a burnt offering. Listening to God’s voice, Abraham was ready to sacrifice his son. He did not even tell Sarah, knowing that she would never agree and might stop him. This silence itself reflected the depth of his faith in God.

“It was he to whom it was said, ‘Through Isaac your descendants shall be named.’ He considered that God is able to raise people even from the dead, from which he also received him back as a type.” — Hebrews 11:18–19 (NASB)

Earlier, God had promised Abraham, “I will greatly multiply your descendants as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore.” And He also said, “Through Isaac your descendants shall be named” (Genesis 21:12, NASB).

Therefore, Abraham believed that the same God who gave the promise was powerful enough to fulfil it—even if it meant raising Isaac from the dead. That faith made him ready to offer Isaac as a sacrifice.

Today’s verse urges us to reflect deeply on these things. This is why Abraham is called the father of faith. When we face negative circumstances or when our prayers seem unanswered, we often grow anxious or fall into doubt. But in such moments, let us look to Abraham.

“By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised. Therefore, even from one man, and one who was as good as dead at that, there were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven in number, and innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.” — Hebrews 11:11–12 (NASB)

As today’s verse reminds us, let us look to our father Abraham and our mother Sarah, and be strengthened in our faith in God.

🦋 Meditation verse - ரோமர் 1 : 28 / Romans 1:28

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1738                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 10.11.2025 திங்கள்  

"தேவனை அறியும் அறிவைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்க அவர்களுக்கு மனதில்லாதிருந்தபடியால், தகாதவைகளைச் செய்யும்படி, தேவன் அவர்களைக் கேடான சிந்தைக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்." ( ரோமர் 1 : 28 )

தேவனை அறிதல் என்பது வேறு, தேவனைப்பற்றி அறிதல் என்பது வேறு. வேதாகமத்தை நாம் வாசிக்கும்போது பொதுவாக எல்லா இடங்களிலும், "தேவனை அறிதல்", "தேவனை அறியும் அறிவு"  போன்ற வார்த்தைகளே பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளதை நாம் பார்க்கலாம். 

ஒருவர் வேதாகமக் கல்லூரியில் படிப்பதன்மூலமும், பல்வேறு ஆவிக்குரிய பிரசங்கங்களைக் கேட்பதன்மூலமும், ஆவிக்குரிய செய்திகளைப் படித்து அறிவதன்மூலமும் தேவனைப்பற்றி அறியமுடியும். ஆனால், ஒருவர் இப்படி வேதாகமக் கல்லூரியில் படிப்பதாலும், வேதாகமத்தை வசிப்பதாலும் தேவனை அறிய முடியாது.  பெரும்பாலும்  இன்று இப்படி மூளை அறிவால் வேதாகமத்தை அறிந்தவர்களே போதகர்களாகவும் குருக்களாகவும் இருக்கின்றனர். 

புத்தன்,  காந்தி, கார்ல் மார்க்ஸ், லெனின், அல்லது வேறு ஏதாவது அரசியல் தலைவரின் வாழ்க்கையையோ பிரபலமான நபர்களைப்பற்றிய  சம்பவங்களையோ படிப்பதுபோல இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வாழ்க்கை வரலாற்றை வேதாகமம் மூலம் படித்துக்கொண்டு அவரை அறியாமல் இருப்போமானால் இந்தத் தலைவர்களைப் போலவே கிறிஸ்துவை நாம் அறிந்துள்ளோம் என்று பொருள்.   

தேவனை அறிதல் என்பது உன்னதமான ஒரு அனுபவம். அது அன்றாடம் அவரோடுள்ள ஐக்கியத்தில் நாம் வாழ்வது. நாம் நமது வீட்டில் நமது பெற்றோர், சகோதர சகோதரிகளோடு உறவோடு வாழ்வதுபோல தேவனோடு உறவோடு வாழ்ந்து, அவரது சித்தம் அறிந்து செயல்படுவது; அவரது வழிநடத்துதலை அனுபவிப்பது. ஆம், நமது தேவன் உயிரற்ற ஒருவரல்ல, அவர் இன்றும் ஜீவிக்கின்ற ஒருவராக இருக்கின்றார். எனவே அவர் உயிருள்ள மனிதனுக்கு ஒப்பாக இன்றும் செயற்படுகின்றார். அதனை அறிந்து வாழ்வதே தேவனை அறிவது. 

மனிதர்கள் இப்படித் தேவனைப் பற்றி மட்டும் அறிந்து வாழ்வில் தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் அவரை  அறியாமல் இருப்பதாலும் அவரை அறியும் அறிவைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்க அவர்களுக்கு மனதில்லாதிருந்தபடியாலும், தகாதவைகளைச் செய்யும்படி, தேவன் அவர்களைக் கேடான சிந்தைக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. 

இப்படி மனிதர்கள் தேவனை அறியாமல் இருப்பதால் மனிதர்களது  மனம் எப்படி இருக்கின்றது என்பதனை விளக்கும்போது அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல்,  அவர்கள் சகலவித அநியாயம், வேசித்தனம், துரோகம், பொருளாசை, குரோதம், பொறாமை, கொலை, வாக்குவாதம், வஞ்சகம், வன்மம்,  புறங்கூறல், அவதூறு, தேவபகை, துராகிருதம்,  அகந்தை, வீம்பு, பொல்லாதவைகளை யோசித்துப் பிணைத்தல்,  பெற்றாருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாமை, உணர்வில்லாமை, உடன்படிக்கைகளை மீறுதல், சுபாவ அன்பில்லாமை, இணங்காமை,  இரக்கமில்லாமை போன்ற குணங்களுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கின்றார்கள் என்கின்றார். (ரோமர் 1;29-31 வசனங்களை வாசிக்கவும்)

தேவனை நமது வாழ்வில் அறியாமல் வாழ்ந்துகொண்டு எத்தனை ஆராதனைகளில் கலந்துகொண்டாலும்   இத்தகைய குணங்கள் நம்மைவிட்டு மாறிடாது. 

அன்பானவர்களே, பெரும்பாலும் இதைவாசிக்கும் அனைவரும் பிறந்தது கிறிஸ்தவ குடும்பமாக இருந்தாலும் பெரும்பாலும் தேவனைப்பற்றி மட்டுமே அறிந்தவர்களாக இருக்கின்றோம். இதற்கு மேலான ஒரு அனுபவம் உண்டு; அதுதான் தேவனை அறியும் அனுபவம். அந்த அனுபவத்தை நாம் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள உண்மையாகவே விரும்பினோமென்றால் அதனை அவர் நமக்குத் தர தேவன் ஆவலாக உள்ளார். அந்த அனுபவத்தை நாம் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்பதற்காகவே அவர் உலகினில் வந்தார். அப்படி அவரை அறியும்போதுதான் நமது உள்ளான குணங்கள் தேவனுக்கு ஏற்றவையாக மாறும். 

"அன்பான ஆண்டவரே, நாம் எனது வாழ்வில் உம்மை அறிய விரும்புகின்றேன்; உம்மோடு உறவுடன் வாழ விரும்புகின்றேன். இதற்குத் தடையாக இருக்கும் எனது எல்லா பாவங்களையும் உம்மிடம் அறிக்கையிடுகின்றேன். என்னை உமது மகனாக, மகளாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்" என்று உண்மையான உள்ளத்துடன் வேண்டுதல் செய்வோம். தேவன் தன்னை நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துவார்; நம்மைப் புதுப் பிறப்பாக மாற்றுவார்.

📖 Bible Meditation No. 1738
🔆 AATHAVAN – Monday, 10 November 2025

“And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper.” — Romans 1:28 (NASB)

Knowing about God and knowing God are not the same. Throughout the Bible, we often see expressions such as “knowing God” or “the knowledge of God.”

A person may study in a Bible college, listen to numerous spiritual sermons, and read spiritual messages and books to gain knowledge about God. Yet, even with all this, one may still not truly know God.

Many today who have intellectual knowledge of the Bible have become preachers, teachers, or scholars — but their understanding is often limited to the level of the mind.

If we study the life of Jesus Christ merely as we would study the life stories of Buddha, Gandhi, Karl Marx, Lenin, or any famous leader, we may know about Christ — but we will not truly know Him.

Knowing God is a divine experience. It means living daily in union and fellowship with Him — walking with God as we live with our parents and siblings at home. It is to know His will, to follow His guidance, and to experience His leading in our lives.

Yes, our God is not lifeless — He is alive even today! He acts and speaks just as a living person does. To recognize and live in that reality is what it truly means to know God.

But as today’s verse says, because people did not desire to retain the knowledge of God, He gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they would do what is not proper. (Romans 1:28 NASB)

When people fail to know God personally, the Apostle Paul describes how their minds become corrupted with every kind of unrighteousness:

“...filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful.”— Romans 1:29–31 (NASB)

No matter how many worship services we attend, unless we truly know God, these sinful characteristics will continue to remain in us.

Dearly beloved, many of us who read this may have been born into Christian families. Yet, we may only know about God — not truly know God. But there is a higher experience — the experience of personally knowing Him.

If we sincerely desire this experience, God is eager to give it to us. That is why He came into this world — so that we might know Him personally and be transformed into His likeness.

When we truly know Him, our inner nature will change and become pleasing to God.

Let us therefore pray with a genuine heart:

“Loving Lord, I desire to know You in my life and to live in fellowship with You. I confess all my sins that stand as obstacles between You and me. Please accept me as Your son/daughter.”

God will reveal Himself to us — and make us a new creation.

🦋 Meditation verse - ரோமர் 12 : 2 / Romans 12:2

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1737                                  🔆 ஆதவன் 09.11.2025 ஞாயிறு 

"நீங்கள் இந்தப் பிரபஞ்சத்திற்கு ஒத்த வேஷந்தரியாமல், தேவனுடைய நன்மையும் பிரியமும் பரிபூரணமுமான சித்தம் இன்னதென்று பகுத்தறியத்தக்கதாக, உங்கள் மனம் புதிதாகிறதினாலே மறுரூபமாகுங்கள்." ( ரோமர் 12 : 2 )

இடத்துக்கேற்ப நடிக்கும் மக்களை நாம் அன்றாட உலகினில் பார்க்க முடியும். பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் இப்படி நடிப்பவர்களாகவே இருக்கின்றனர். இப்படி நடிக்கக் காரணம் ஏதாவது சுய லாபம் கருதியதாகவே இருக்கும். பணம் சம்பாதிப்பது மட்டுமல்ல, தங்களை நல்லவர்கள் எனப் பிறருக்குக் காண்பித்து நற்பெயர் எடுக்கவும் சிலர் இப்படி நடிக்கின்றனர். 

மேலும் பலர்,  எல்லோரும் செய்கிறார்களே என்று சில காரியங்களைச் செய்கின்றனர். அதாவது, உலகத்தோடு ஒத்துப்போகவேண்டுமென்று தங்களுக்கு விருப்பமில்லையெனினும் சில காரியங்களில் ஈடுபடுகின்றனர். இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம், நீங்கள் இப்படி இந்தப் பிரபஞ்சத்திற்கு ஒத்த வேஷந்தரியாமல் இருங்கள் என்று கூறுகின்றது. 

நம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் நீங்கள் இப்படி நடிக்காமல் "உள்ளதை உள்ளதென்றும், இல்லாததை இல்லையென்றும் சொல்லுங்கள்; இதற்கு மிஞ்சினது தீமையினால் உண்டாயிருக்கும்.' ( மத்தேயு 5 : 37 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

தாவீதுராஜா  இத்தகைய மனிதர்களைத் தனது வாழ்வில் சந்தித்திருந்ததால் கூறுகின்றார், "வேஷமாகவே மனுஷன் திரிகிறான்; விருதாவாகவே சஞ்சலப்படுகிறான்; ஆஸ்தியைச் சேர்க்கிறான். யார் அதை வாரிக்கொள்ளுவான் என்று அறியான்." ( சங்கீதம் 39 : 6 ) என்று. பொருள் சேர்க்கவேண்டுமென்று நல்லவனாக நடிப்பதை அவர் இங்குக் குறிப்பிடுகின்றார். இப்படி வேஷமாக நடித்து நடித்து சொத்துச் சேர்த்து வைக்கின்றார்கள் பலர். 

ஆனால் நீங்கள் இப்படி உலகத்துக்கு ஒத்த வேஷம்போடாமல், "தேவனுடைய நன்மையும் பிரியமும் பரிபூரணமுமான சித்தம் இன்னதென்று பகுத்தறியத்தக்கதாக, உங்கள் மனம் புதிதாகிறதினாலே மறுரூபமாகுங்கள்." என்று அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். அதாவது, நம் ஒவ்வொருவரைக்குறித்தும் தேவனுக்கு ஒரு சித்தம் உண்டு. நாம் உலகத்துக்கு ஒத்தபடி நடக்காமல் நம்மைக்குறித்த தேவ சித்தத்தைப் பகுத்தறிந்து அதன்படி நடக்கவேண்டும் என அறிவுறுத்துகின்றார். 

நம்மைக்குறித்த தேவனுடைய பரிபூரணமுமான சித்தம் இன்னதென்று அறியவேண்டுமானால் நமது மனமானது புதிதாகவேண்டியது அவசியம் என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. அதற்கு, பழைய பாவ மனிதன் நம்மைவிட்டு அகலவேண்டும்.  இதுவே மீட்பு அனுபவம். தேவனிடம் நமது பாவங்களை அறிக்கையிட்டு மன்னிப்புக் கேட்கும்போது நாம் மறுபடிப்பிறந்து குழந்தைகளாகின்றோம். அப்போது வேஷம்போடும் குணம் நம்மை விட்டு அகலும்.  இப்படி நமது மனம் புதிதாகி மறுரூபமாகும்போதுதான் நாம் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்துக்குத் தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாக மாற முடியும். 

"ஒருவன் மறுபடியும் பிறவாவிட்டால் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தைக் காணமாட்டான் என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உனக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்". ( யோவான் 3 : 3 ) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்துக் கூறவில்லையா? 

இடத்துக்கு இடம், நேரத்துக்கு நேரம் நமது வேஷத்தை மாற்றாமல்; இந்த உலகத்துக்குரிய மக்களைப்பார்த்து அவர்களைப்போல நடக்கவேண்டுமென்று எண்ணாமல், தேவனுடைய பரிபூரணமுமான சித்தம் இன்னதென்று பகுத்தறிந்து நமது மனம் புதிதாக மாறிட நம்மை அவருக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம்.

📖 Bible Meditation No. 1737
🔆 AATHAVAN – Sunday, 09.11.2025

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” — Romans 12:2 (NASB)

In our daily life, we often see people who act according to the situation. Many live such pretentious lives. The reason behind this acting is usually self-interest — to gain profit or favour. Some behave well not out of true goodness, but to show others that they are righteous and earn a good name.

There are also many who do certain things simply because “everyone else is doing it.” Even if they dislike it inwardly, they conform outwardly just to blend in with the world. But today’s meditation verse warns us: “Do not be conformed to this world.”

Our Lord Jesus Christ also instructs us not to pretend or deceive, saying,

“But make sure your statement is, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything beyond these is of evil origin.” — Matthew 5:37 (NASB)

King David, who encountered such people in his life, said,

“Surely every person walks around as a phantom; surely they make an uproar for nothing; he amasses riches and does not know who will gather them.”— Psalm 39:6 (NASB)

David refers here to those who act as though they are good merely to accumulate wealth and possessions. Even today, many put on a false front and pile up treasures for themselves.

But Apostle Paul instructs us differently — to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, so that we may discern “what the will of God is — that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” God has a specific plan and will for each of us. Instead of following the pattern of the world, we must discern His will and live accordingly.

To know God’s perfect will concerning our life, our mind must be renewed. For this renewal, the old sinful nature must die. This is the experience of salvation. When we confess our sins to God and seek His forgiveness, we are born again as His children. In that moment, the tendency to wear masks and act deceitfully departs from us. Only when our mind is renewed and transformed can we become worthy of the Kingdom of God.

Did not Jesus say, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” — John 3:3 (NASB)

Therefore, let us not change our outward appearance or behaviour according to time, place, or people. Instead, let us yield ourselves to God — to be renewed in our mind, transformed in our inner being, and to discern His perfect will.

🦋Meditation verse - கலாத்தியர் 6 : 4, 5 / Galatians 6:4–5

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1736                                   🔆 ஆதவன் 08.11.2025 சனி 

"அவனவன் தன்தன் சுயகிரியையைச் சோதித்துப்பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது மற்றவனைப் பார்க்கும்போதல்ல, தன்னையே பார்க்கும்போது மேன்மைபாராட்ட அவனுக்கு இடமுண்டாகும். அவனவன் தன்தன் பாரத்தைச் சுமப்பானே." ( கலாத்தியர் 6 : 4, 5 )

ஒப்பிட்டுப்பார்க்கும் குணம் மனிதர்களுக்கு இயல்பிலேயே இருக்கின்றது. எல்லா உலக காரியங்களிலும் மனிதர்கள் தங்களை மற்றவர்களோடு ஒப்பிட்டுப்பார்க்கப்  பழகிவிட்டனர். சிறு வயதில் தன்னோடு படிக்கும் உடன் மாணவன் மாணவிகளைவிட அதிக மதிப்பெண் பெறவேண்டும், அவர்களைவிட விளையாட்டு, மற்றும் இதர போட்டிகளில் அதிக வெற்றிகளைப் பெறவேண்டும் என எண்ணுகின்றனர். 

வயதானபின்னர் இந்த ஒப்பிடும் குணம் மற்றவர்களுக்கு - குறிப்பாகத் தங்களது குடும்பச் சொந்தங்களுக்கு, நம்மோடு வாழும் மற்றவர்களுக்கு  - இருப்பதுபோல அல்லது அதனைவிட அதிகமாக தனக்கு சொத்துசுகம், பதவி, அதிகாரம் வேண்டும் என மாறுகின்றது. அவர்களைவிட எதிலாவது குறைவுபட்டால் மனம் வேதனை அடைகின்றது. 

ஆனால், நாம் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் இப்படி இருக்கக்கூடாது என்கின்றார் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர். நமது செயல்பாடுகள் எந்த அளவுக்கு தேவன் விரும்பும் ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வாக இருக்கின்றது என்று நமக்குள்ளேதானே  நாம் சுய பரிசோதனை செய்து பார்க்கவேண்டும் என்கின்றார் அவர். எனவேதான், "அவனவன் தன்தன் சுயகிரியையைச் சோதித்துப்பார்க்கக்கடவன்; அப்பொழுது மற்றவனைப் பார்க்கும்போதல்ல, தன்னையே பார்க்கும்போது மேன்மைபாராட்ட அவனுக்கு இடமுண்டாகும்" என்கின்றார். 

ஆம் நாம் தேவனுக்குமுன் எந்த அளவுக்கு ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் முன்னேறியுள்ளோம்; எந்த அளவு தேவனோடுள்ள ஐக்கியத்தில் வளர்ந்துள்ளோம்; எந்த அளவுக்கு விசுவாசவாழ்வில் தேறியுள்ளோம்  என நாம் நம்மைத்தானே சோதித்துப் பார்க்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். அப்போது மற்றவர்களைப்பார்த்து அல்ல; மாறாக, நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வை நாமே நிதானித்து மேன்மை பாராட்டலாம். 

நாம் ஏன் இப்படி நம்மை நாமே சோதிக்கவேண்டும் என்பதற்குப் பதிலாக இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் இறுதியில் அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல், "அவனவன் தன்தன் பாரத்தைச் சுமப்பானே" என்று கூறுகின்றார். அதாவது, நாம் செய்த நன்மை தீமைக்கான விளைவுகளை நாம்தான் அனுபவிக்கவேண்டும்; மற்றவர்களல்ல.  எனவே, நாம் மற்றவர்களைப் பார்க்காமல் நம்மை நாமே நிதானித்துப் பார்க்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். 

இன்று, மரித்தவர்களுக்காக உயிருடன் இருப்பவர்கள் ஜெபிக்கும்போது மரித்துப்போன ஆத்துமாக்களின் பாவங்களை தேவன் மன்னித்து அவர்களுக்கு  மறுவுலக பேரின்பத்தைத் தருவார் என சிலர் வேதாகமத்துக்குப் புறம்பாக எண்ணிக்கொண்டு ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். ஆனால்,  "அநியாயஞ்செய்கிறவன் தான் செய்த அநியாயத்துக்கேற்ற பலனை அடைவான்; பட்சபாதமே இல்லை."  ( கொலோசெயர் 3 : 25 ) என்கிறார் அப்போஸ்தலராகிய பவுல். 

மேலும், "மரித்தோராகிய சிறியோரையும் பெரியோரையும் தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக நிற்கக்கண்டேன்; அப்பொழுது புஸ்தகங்கள் திறக்கப்பட்டன; ஜீவபுஸ்தகம் என்னும் வேறொரு புஸ்தகமும் திறக்கப்பட்டது; அப்பொழுது அந்தப் புஸ்தகங்களில் எழுதப்பட்டவைகளின்படியே மரித்தோர் தங்கள் தங்கள் கிரியைகளுக்குத்தக்கதாக நியாயத்தீர்ப்படைந்தார்கள்." ( வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 20 : 12 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, அவனவன் தன்தன் பாரத்தைச் சுமப்பான்.  எனவேதான் இன்றைய தியான வசனம், நாம் நமது  சுயகிரியையைச் சோதித்துப்பார்க்க அறிவுறுத்துகின்றது.  மற்றவர்களோடு நம்மை ஒப்பிட்டுப்பார்க்காமல், தேவனுக்குமுன் நாம் சரியாக இருக்கின்றோமா இல்லையா என்று நமது செயல்பாடுகளை நாமே நிதானித்துப்பார்த்துத் திருத்திக்கொள்ள வேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. அதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனம் வலியுறுத்துகின்றது. நமது வாழ்வை நிதானித்துப்பார்ப்போம்; தேவனுக்கு ஏற்றதாக மாற்றிக்கொள்வோம்.

🔆 AATHAVAN – Saturday, 08 November 2025

“But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting, but to himself alone, and not to another. For each one will bear his own load.” — Galatians 6:4–5 (NASB)

The tendency to compare oneself with others is quite natural to human beings. In every aspect of life, people have grown accustomed to measuring themselves against others. From childhood, students strive to score higher marks than their classmates, to win more prizes in sports and competitions, and to be seen as more successful.

As they grow older, this habit of comparison takes a different form — it becomes a desire to have more wealth, comfort, position, or power than one’s relatives or those around them. When they find themselves lacking in something that others possess, their hearts grow troubled.

However, the Apostle Paul warns us that such comparison should not exist in our spiritual life. Instead, he urges us to engage in self-examination — to see whether our conduct truly reflects the kind of spiritual life that pleases God. That is why he says,

“Each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting, but to himself alone, and not to another.”

Yes, we must honestly evaluate ourselves — to know how far we have advanced in our spiritual walk, how deep our communion with God has grown, and how steadfast our faith life has become. When we do this, we will not look to others for comparison, but will instead find joy in recognizing our own spiritual progress before God.

Paul further adds the reason for this instruction:

“For each one will bear his own load.”

This means that we alone must face the consequences of our own deeds — whether good or bad — and not anyone else. Hence, it is essential that we look within ourselves rather than measuring against others.

Even today, there are some who pray for the souls of the departed, believing — contrary to Scripture — that God will forgive their sins and grant them bliss in the afterlife through such prayers. But the Apostle Paul clearly states,

“For the one who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality.” — Colossians 3:25 (NASB)

Moreover, the Book of Revelation declares,

“And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.” — Revelation 20:12 (NASB)

Dear beloved, indeed each one will bear his own load. Therefore, today’s meditation calls us to examine our own work. Rather than comparing ourselves with others, we must evaluate our actions before God — to see whether we stand right in His sight — and correct ourselves wherever needed.

Let us pause to reflect upon our lives and make them pleasing unto God.

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 யோவான் 3 : 1 / 1 John 3:1

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

📖 வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1735                                  🔆 ஆதவன் 07.11.2025 வெள்ளி      

"நாம் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளென்று அழைக்கப்படுவதனாலே பிதாவானவர் நமக்குப் பாராட்டின அன்பு எவ்வளவு பெரிதென்று பாருங்கள்; உலகம் அவரை அறியாதபடியினாலே நம்மையும் அறியவில்லை." ( 1 யோவான்  3 : 1 )

தேவன் நமது அன்பான தகப்பன் என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நமக்கு அடையாளம் காட்டினார். இது மிகப்பெரிய உரிமையல்லவா? நாம் இந்த அண்ட சராசரங்களையும் படைத்து ஆளும் மிகப்பெரிய செல்வந்தனின் பிள்ளைகள். ஆனால் இந்த உலகம் அவரை அறியாததால் நம்மையும் அறியவில்லை என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. இதனைத் தியானித்தபோது பத்திரிகையில் 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளியான ஒரு செய்தி என் நினைவில் வந்தது.  

சூரத்தைச் சார்ந்த  ஹரே கிருஷ்ணா டயமண்ட் எக்ஸ்போர்ட்ஸ் நிறுவனத்தின் உரிமையாளர் சாவ்ஜி தோலாக்கியா, ரூ. 6,000 கோடி மதிப்புள்ள சொத்துக்களுக்கு அதிபதி. அவர் தனது 21 வயது மகன் த்ரவ்யாவை, வாழ்க்கைப்  போராட்டத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை உணர வைப்பதற்காக, ரூ. 7,000 மட்டும் கையில் கொடுத்து கேரளாவிலுள்ள கொச்சி நகருக்கு  அனுப்பினார் — அங்கு தன்னால் முடிந்த அளவில் சிறு வேலைகளைச் செய்து வாழவேண்டும் என்பது அவனுக்குத்  தகப்பன் விதித்தக் கட்டளை. 

அப்போது த்ரவ்யா அமெரிக்காவில் எம்.பி.ஏ படித்துவந்தான். அவன் விடுமுறைக்கு இந்தியா வந்தபோது தந்தை அவனுக்கு ஒரு மாதத்திற்கான இந்தச் சவாலைக் கொடுத்தார். ஒரு மாதம் இந்த வாழ்க்கையினை அவன் வாழவேண்டும். த்ரவ்யா அதை தயங்காமல் ஏற்றுக் கொண்டான்.

இந்தச் சவாலுக்காக மூன்று நிபந்தனைகள் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தன:

1. த்ரவ்யா எந்த நிலையிலும் தந்தையின் பெயரையோ, அவரின் செல்வாக்கையோ பயன்படுத்தக்கூடாது.

2. ஒரே இடத்தில் ஒரு வாரத்திற்கு மேல் வேலை செய்யக்கூடாது.

3. அவனிடம் இருக்கும் ரூ.7,000/- தை  அவசரநிலைக்காக மட்டும் பயன்படுத்தவேண்டும். அதை அவனது  தினசரிச்  செலவுக்குப்  பயன்படுத்தக் கூடாது.

த்ரவ்யா முதலில் சேரணல்லூர் பகுதியில் உள்ள ஒரு பேக்கரியில் வேலை செய்தான். பின்னர் ஒரு கால் சென்டர், ஒரு சூ கடை, மற்றும் மக்‌டொனால்ட்ஸ் உணவகத்திலும் வேலை பார்த்தான். ஒரு மாதத்தில் அவர் ரூ. 4,000 மட்டுமே சம்பாதித்ததாகக் கூறினார். ஆனால், தினமும் உணவுக்கு ரூ. 40/- கூட கிடைக்காத நிலை இருந்தது. சில நாட்கள் பட்டினிகிடந்தார்.  மேலும், ரூ.250 கூடுதல் செலவாக தங்குமிடத்திற்குத் தேவையாகி தெருஓரங்களிலும் கடைத் திண்ணைகளிலும் தங்கினான். வாழ்க்கை மிகவும் கடினமாக இருந்ததாகப் பின்னர் கூறினான்.

தந்தை எடுத்த இந்த முயற்சி அவரது மகனுக்கு வாழ்க்கையின் கடின உண்மைகளை உணரச் செய்து, சொத்து, செல்வம் என்பவற்றின் சௌகரியத்தில் சிக்காமல் வாழ்வதற்கான பாடத்தை கற்பித்த சிறந்த யோசனை எனக் கூறலாம். 

அந்தச் செல்வந்தனின் மகன் த்ரவ்யா கொச்சியின் தெருக்களில் அலைந்து, கடைத்திண்ணைகளில் உறங்கியபோது மக்களில் யாருக்கும் அவன் ஒரு செல்வந்தனின் மகன் என்று தெரியாது. ஆனால் அவனுக்கு மட்டும் தனக்கு ஒரு மிகப்பெரிய செல்வந்த தகப்பன் உண்டு என்பது தெரிந்திருந்தது. இந்தத் துன்பங்கள் கொஞ்ச நாட்களுக்குத்தான் என்று தெரிந்திருந்தது. இந்தப் பாடுகள் பிற்காலத்தில் மிகப்பெரிய தொழிலின் முதலாளியாக தான் சிறப்பாகப் பணிபுரிய ஒரு பயிற்சி என்பது தெரிந்திருந்தது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இதுபோல நாமும் தேவனை அறிந்துகொண்டோமானால் நாம் இந்த அண்டங்களின்  அதிபதியின் பிள்ளை நாம் என்பதனை அறிந்துகொள்வோம். அன்பான அவர் இந்த உலகவாழ்க்கை மூலம் மறுவுலக நித்தியஜீவனுக்கான பயிற்சியை நமக்கு அளிக்கின்றார் என்பதனையும் புரிந்துகொள்வோம்.  நாம் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளென்று அழைக்கப்படுவதினாலே பிதாவானவர் நமக்குப் பாராட்டின அன்பு எவ்வளவு பெரிதென்று புரிந்துகொள்வோம். 

உலகம் பிதாவாகிய தேவனை அறியாதபடியால் இந்தச் சத்தியங்களையும் அறியவில்லை; அவரது அன்பையும் உணரவில்லை; அவரை அறியாதபடியினாலே நம்மையும் அறியவில்லை. எனவே, அவரை அறிந்துகொண்ட நாம் அவரது அன்பில் நிலைத்திருப்போம். நாம் மேலே பார்த்த அந்த செல்வந்த மகன்  பாடுகளை சகித்து நம்பிக்கையுடன் வாழ்ந்ததுபோல நாமும் நம்பிக்கையுடன் அவரது அன்பில் நிலைத்திருப்போம்.

“See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.” — 1 John 3:1 (NASB)

Jesus Christ revealed to us that God is our loving Father. Isn’t that the greatest privilege of all? We are the children of the Almighty—the Creator and Ruler of the entire universe. Yet, today’s verse reminds us that the world does not know us because it does not know Him.

While meditating on this truth, I was reminded of a news story published in 2023.

Savji Dholakia, the owner of Hare Krishna Diamond Exports in Surat, is a billionaire with an estimated net worth of ₹6,000 crores. To teach his 21-year-old son, Dravya, the value of struggle, he sent him to Kochi with only ₹7,000 and instructed him to survive by working odd jobs—without using his father’s name or influence.

At that time, Dravya was pursuing his MBA in the United States. During his vacation in India, his father gave him this one-month challenge. The son accepted it willingly.

The father’s conditions were clear:

1️⃣ He should never use his father’s name or connections under any circumstance.

2️⃣ He should not stay in one job for more than a week.

3️⃣ The ₹7,000 given should be used only for emergencies—not for daily expenses.

Dravya first worked at a bakery in Cheranalloor, then at a call centre, a grocery store, and even at McDonald’s. After one month, he had earned only ₹4,000. There were days when he couldn’t even afford ₹40 for food. Some nights he went hungry. At times, he had to spend ₹250 for temporary lodging and even slept on shopfront verandas. Later, he said those days were the hardest of his life.

But his father’s wise decision taught him a life-changing lesson—helping him to understand the harsh realities of life and the true worth of hard work, apart from wealth and comfort.

When the rich man’s son, Dravya, walked through the streets of Kochi, sleeping in shopfronts, no one around him knew that he was the son of a billionaire. Yet he knew who his father was. He also knew that these struggles were temporary, meant to prepare him for future responsibility as a capable leader in his father’s business.

Yes, beloved friends—when we truly come to know God, we realize that we are children of the Master of the universe. Our loving Father uses this earthly life as a training ground for eternal life in heaven. Then we can understand how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us by calling us His children.

The world does not know the Father, so it cannot understand these truths, nor can it experience His love. Because it does not know Him, it does not recognize us either. Therefore, as those who know the Father, let us remain steadfast in His love.

Just as the rich man’s son endured hardship with confidence in his father, let us also endure life’s challenges with hope, trusting in the unfailing love of our Heavenly Father.
