 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1603                                          ஆதவன் 28.06.2025 சனி     

"அவரோ திரும்பிப் பேதுருவைப் பார்த்து: எனக்குப் பின்னாகப்போ, சாத்தானே, நீ எனக்கு இடறலாயிருக்கிறாய்; தேவனுக்கு ஏற்றவைகளைச் சிந்தியாமல் மனுஷருக்கு ஏற்றவைகளைச் சிந்திக்கிறாய் என்றார்." ( மத்தேயு 16 : 23 )

அப்போஸ்தலரான பேதுரு இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை அதிகமாக அன்புசெய்தவரும்  இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவால் அன்புசெய்யப்பட்டவரும் ஆவார். தான் விண்ணகம் சென்றபின் தனது மந்தையான திருச்சபையை வழிநடத்த அவரையே பொறுப்பாளராக இதே அதிகாரத்தின் 18ஆம் வசனத்தில் இயேசு நியமித்ததை நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். ஆனால் அவ்வளவு அன்புச்செய்த பேதுருவை,   "சாத்தானே" என்று கடுமையாகத் திட்டுகின்றார் இயேசு.

இயேசு பேதுருவை "சாத்தானே" என்று கூறக் காரணம், அவர் பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்கு ஏற்றவைகளைச் சிந்தியாமல் மனுஷருக்கு ஏற்றவைகளைச் சிந்தித்ததுதான். அதுவும் அவர் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின்மேலுள்ள அன்பினால்தான் அப்படிச் சிந்தித்தார். 

"இயேசு, தாம் எருசலேமுக்குப்போய், மூப்பராலும் பிரதான ஆசாரியராலும், வேதபாரகராலும் பலபாடுகள்பட்டு, கொலையுண்டு, மூன்றாம் நாளில் எழுந்திருக்கவேண்டும் என்பதைத் தம்முடைய சீஷர்களுக்குச் சொல்லத்தொடங்கினார். அப்பொழுது, பேதுரு அவரைத் தனியே அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோய்: ஆண்டவரே, இது உமக்கு நேரிடக்கூடாதே, இது உமக்குச் சம்பவிப்பதில்லை என்று அவரைக் கடிந்துகொள்ளத் தொடங்கினார்". ( மத்தேயு 16 : 21, 22 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின்மேலுள்ள அன்பினால் அவர் துன்பப்படக்கூடாது எனும் நல்லெண்ணத்தில்தான் பேதுரு இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு இவைகள் சம்பவிக்கக்கூடாது என்று கூறினார். ஆனால் அது பிதாவின் சித்தமல்ல என்பதை இயேசு அறிந்திருந்தார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, ஆன்மீகக் காரியங்களில் நாமும் பலவேளைகளில் பேதுருவைப்போலவே சிந்தித்துச் செயல்படுகின்றோம். அதாவது, தேவ சித்தத்தை அறியாமல் நாமாக ஒரு சில சடங்கு சம்பிரதாயங்களைக் கைக்கொண்டு தேவனைத் திருப்திப்படுத்த எண்ணுகின்றோம். அன்றைய யூதர்களும் இப்படியே இருந்தனர். எனவேதான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "மனுஷருடைய கற்பனைகளை உபதேசங்களாகப் போதித்து, வீணாய் எனக்கு ஆராதனை செய்கிறார்கள் என்றும், எழுதியிருக்கிறபிரகாரம், மாயக்காரராகிய உங்களைக்குறித்து, ஏசாயா நன்றாய்த் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லியிருக்கிறான்." ( மாற்கு 7 : 7 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

இதுபோலவே கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதும் பலவேளைகளில் இருக்கின்றது. இதனையும் இயேசு பல்வேறு இடங்களில் கண்டிப்பதைப் பார்க்கின்றோம். கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்வது முக்கியமல்ல, மாறாக கட்டளைகளை ஏன் தரப்பட்டன எனும் எதார்த்தத்தை உணர்ந்து மனித நேயத்தோடு கடைபிடிக்கவே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து வலியுறுத்தினார். காரணம் அதுதான் பிதாவுக்கேற்ற சிந்தனை.

இன்று பலவேளைகளில் பல திருச்சபைகளில் தேவன் கட்டளையிட்ட காரியங்களைப் புறம்பேத் தள்ளி மனித அறிவால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட வேத சத்தியங்களுக்கு முரணானச் சட்டதிட்டங்களை ஏற்படுத்தி அவற்றைக் கடைபிடிப்பது தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையது என்று போதிக்கின்றனர்.  "நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய கட்டளையைத் தள்ளிவிட்டு, மனுஷருடைய பாரம்பரியத்தைக் கைக்கொண்டுவருகிறவர்களாய், கிண்ணங்களையும் செம்புகளையும் கழுவுகிறீர்கள்; மற்றும் இப்படிப்பட்ட அநேக சடங்குகளையும் அனுசரித்துவருகிறீர்கள் என்றார்." ( மாற்கு 7 : 8 ) இது அன்றைய யூதர்களை நோக்கி இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறியிருந்தாலும் இன்றும் உண்மையாக இருப்பதை நாம் காண்கின்றோம். 

இத்தகைய திருச்சபைகளின் பல போதனைகளும் செயல்பாடுகளும் மெய்யான விசுவாசிகளுக்கு  இடறலாயிருக்கின்றன. காரணம் இவை  தேவனுக்கு ஏற்றச்சிந்தனையாய் இல்லாமல் மனுஷருக்கு ஏற்றச் சிந்தனையாயிருக்கின்றது. தவறான போதனைகளைக் கொண்டு வருபவர்கள் இடறலையும் கொண்டு வருகின்றனர். எனவே, எத்தனை பெரிய மனிதன் வேதத்துக்கு முரணான காரியங்களை கடைபிடிக்க நம்மை வலியுறுத்தினாலும் நாம் அவற்றைக் கடைப்பிடிக்காமல் நம்மைக் காத்துக்கொள்வோம். இல்லையானால் பேதுருவைப் பார்த்துக்  கூறியதுபோல நம்மையும்பார்த்து "எனக்குப் பின்னாகப்போ, சாத்தானே"  என்று இயேசு கூறுவார்.

AATHAVAN – Saturday, 28.06.2025

"But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men." (Matthew 16:23, KJV)

The Apostle Peter was someone who loved Jesus Christ deeply, and was deeply loved by Christ in return. In verse 18 of this same chapter, we read that Jesus entrusted Peter with the responsibility of leading His flock, the Church, after His ascension into heaven. Yet, despite such love, the Lord Jesus rebukes Peter sharply here, calling him “Satan.”

Why did Jesus call Peter “Satan”? It was because Peter was not mindful of the things that be of God, but rather the things that be of men. Ironically, Peter spoke that way out of his love for Christ, desiring that Jesus should not suffer.

“From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.” (Matthew 16:21–22, KJV)

Peter, out of a good intention and love for Jesus, did not want Him to suffer. But Jesus, knowing the will of the Father, understood that Peter’s mindset—even if loving—was contrary to God’s plan.

Dearly beloved, in spiritual matters, we too often think and act like Peter. That is, without discerning the will of God, we tend to follow man-made customs and religious traditions, hoping to please God. This was the condition of the Jews in Jesus' day as well.

That’s why Jesus said:

“Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.” (Mark 7:7–8, KJV)

In many cases, people rigidly follow commandments without understanding the true purpose behind them. Jesus often rebuked this legalism. He emphasized that we must follow the essence of the commandment with compassion and understanding—not just the rule itself. That is the mindset that pleases the Father.

Today, in many churches, the commandments of God are being cast aside. In their place, rules and traditions created by human reasoning—often contrary to biblical truths—are being upheld as if they were divine. Even though Jesus originally addressed this to the Jews, the same remains true today.

Such teachings and practices have become stumbling blocks to true believers. Why? Because they do not reflect God-centered thinking, but rather man-centered thinking. Those who bring false teachings also bring stumbling blocks. Therefore, no matter how great a man may be, if he urges us to follow anything contrary to Scripture, we must guard ourselves and not follow.

If we fail to do so, Jesus might say to us as He did to Peter: “Get thee behind me, Satan!”

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 2 : 4 / 1 Thessalonians 2:4

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1602                                          ஆதவன் 27.06.2025 வெள்ளி    

"சுவிசேஷத்தை எங்களிடத்தில் ஒப்புவிக்கத்தக்கதாய், தேவன் எங்களை உத்தமரென்றெண்ணினபடியே, நாங்கள் மனுஷருக்கு அல்ல, எங்கள் இருதயங்களைச் சோதித்தறிகிற தேவனுக்கே பிரியமுண்டாகப் பேசுகிறோம்." ( 1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 2 : 4 )

மனிதர்களுக்கு பிரியமுண்டாக பேசுவது   என்பது, எதைப்  பேசினால் மக்கள் இரசிப்பார்கள், எது மக்களை மகிழ்ச்சிக்குள்ளாக்கும் என்று தங்களுக்குள் முடிவெடுத்து மக்களுக்கு ஏற்றபடி பேசுவது.  இப்படிப் பேசுவதால் முதலாவது, அதிக மக்கள் அந்தப் பிரசங்கியின் பிரசங்கத்தைக் கேட்க வருவார்கள். இரண்டாவது, அப்படிப் பேசுவதால் அதிக அளவில் .காணிக்கைக்  கிடைக்கும்.  இதற்கு மாறாகத் தேவனைப் பிரியப்படுத்தப் போதிக்கும்போது மேற்படி இரண்டும் கிடைக்காது.  

மனிதர்களைப் பிரியப்படுத்தப் பேசுதல் என்பது, மனம் திரும்பாத ஒரு மனிதனிடம் இரட்சிப்புக்கேற்ற வார்த்தைகளைப் பேசி சத்தியத்தை உணர்த்தாமல் "கர்த்தர் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்.." என்று ஆறுதல் வார்த்தைகளைக் கூறுவது, அல்லது அத்தகைய மனிதர்கள் அளிக்கும் காணிக்கைகளை  மகிழ்வோடு பெற்றுக்கொண்டு, "கர்த்தர் உங்களை பத்து மடங்காக ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்" என்பது. 

மட்டுமல்ல, மக்களைக் கவரும்படியான பல்வேறு திட்டங்களை அறிமுகப்படுத்துவது. உதாரணமாக, குடும்ப உறுப்பினர்கள் பெயர்களை ஆசீர்வாத திட்டத்தில் இணைத்து  நாங்கள் உங்களுக்காகத் தினமும் ஜெபிப்போம் என்பது போன்ற வேதத்துக்கு முரணான செயல்கள்.  இத்தகைய முறைமைகள் மனிதர்கள் கடைபிடிக்க எளிமையானவை. எனவே இவற்றுக்கு மக்களது ஆதரவு அதிகம் கிடைக்கும். 

தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமானவைகளைப் பேசுதல் என்பது, பாவத்திலிருந்து மனம் திரும்புதல், ஆத்தும இரட்சிப்பு, பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் அபிஷேகம், நித்திய ஜீவன் இவைகளைக்குறித்துப் பேசி மக்களை வழி நடத்துதல். இத்தகைய போதனைகளை தேவனுக்கு உத்தமமும் பிரியமுமான போதகர்களால்தான் போதிக்கமுடியும். எனவேதான் பவல் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் துவக்கத்தில் "சுவிசேஷத்தை எங்களிடத்தில் ஒப்புவிக்கத்தக்கதாய், தேவன் எங்களை உத்தமரென்றெண்ணின படியே" என்று கூறுகின்றார். ஆனால், பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் இத்தகைய போதனைகளை விரும்புவதில்லை. எனவே, இவற்றை போதிக்கும் ஊழியர்களுக்கு மக்கள்கூட்டம் சேர்வதுமில்லை. 

ஒரு ஊழியர் எத்தகைய விதமாக பிரசங்கிக்கிறார் என்பதைக் கவனித்து அந்த மனிதன் தேவனுக்கு உகந்தவனாகப் பேசுகின்றானா அல்லது மனிதர்களைத் திருப்திப்படுத்த பேசுகின்றானா என்பதை நிதானிக்கக்கூடிய அறிவு நமக்கு வேண்டும். இன்று பல விசுவாசிகள் வேதாமத்தை வாசிப்பதே இல்லை. வாசித்தாலும் கடமைக்காக வேதாகமத்தைத் திறந்து குறிப்பிட்ட ஒரு சில வசனங்களை வாசிப்பவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். இத்தகைய மனிதர்களால் ஊழியர்களை அவர்களது போதனையின் அடிப்படையில் இனம்காண முடியாது. அவர்கள் உலக ஆசீர்வாதத்தையே விரும்புவதால் அத்தகைய போதகர்களையே நாடுவார்கள். 

இப்படி மனிதர்களைப் பிரியப்படுத்தப் போதிப்பவன் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஊழியக்காரனல்ல என்று அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் கூறுகின்றார்:-"இப்பொழுது நான் மனுஷரையா, தேவனையா, யாரை நாடிப் போதிக்கிறேன்? மனுஷரையா பிரியப்படுத்தப்பார்க்கிறேன்? நான் இன்னும் மனுஷரைப் பிரியப்படுத்துகிறவனாயிருந்தால் நான் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஊழியக்காரனல்லவே." ( கலாத்தியர் 1 : 10 )

வேதாகம வார்த்தைகள் நம் அன்பின் ஆண்டவர் நமக்கு எழுதிக்கொடுத்த வார்த்தைகள். அவற்றை தேவ அன்போடு, அவரை இன்னும் இன்னும் அதிகமாக அறியவேண்டுமெனும் ஆர்வத்தில் வாசிக்கும்போதுதான் நாம் சத்தியத்தை அறிய முடியும். போலிகளையும் மனிதர்களைத் திருப்திப்படுத்த போதிப்பவர்ளையும் இனம்காண முடியும்.

மனிதர்களைப் பிரியப்படுத்தப் போதிக்கும் போதனைகளைக்  கேட்டு வாழ்ந்தோமானால் ஆத்தும மரணத்தையும் தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமான போதனைகளைப் போதிக்கும் ஊழியர்களது போதனைகளைக் கேட்டு நடந்தோமானால் நித்திய ஜீவனையும் பெறுவோம். போதனைகளை பகுத்தறியும் பிரகாசமான மனக் கண்கள் நமக்கு ஏற்படும்படி ஜெபிப்போம்.

Scripture Meditation No: 1602

AATHAVAN – Friday, 27.06.2025

“But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.” — 1 Thessalonians 2:4 (KJV)

Pleasing men means speaking in a way that people would enjoy—saying only what delights them and makes them happy. When someone speaks like this, two things typically happen:

More people are attracted to listen to such a preacher.

Offerings and donations tend to increase.

But, when someone preaches to please God, these two benefits are often absent.

Preaching to please men includes comforting words like, “The Lord will bless you…” to an unrepentant soul without revealing the truth of salvation. It may also include gladly accepting offerings from such people and declaring, “The Lord will bless you tenfold.”

"Not only that, but also introducing various schemes that are designed to attract people—for example, including the names of family members in a 'blessing scheme' with promises like 'We will pray for you daily'—are practices that go against the teachings of the Bible."

However, speaking what is pleasing to God includes teaching about repentance from sin, salvation of the soul, the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and eternal life—guiding people in the path of truth. Only those whom God considers faithful and pleasing to Him can preach such doctrines. That’s why Paul begins today's verse by saying:

“But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak…”

Sadly, most people do not desire such teachings. Hence, preachers who proclaim these truths often do not attract large crowds.

As believers, we must discern what kind of message a minister is preaching—whether it is to please God or to satisfy people. Today, many believers do not even read the Bible. Even if they do, it is only a few verses, read out of obligation. Such individuals cannot discern ministers based on their teachings. Since they primarily desire worldly blessings, they naturally seek out preachers who offer just that.

The Apostle Paul declares that anyone who preaches to please men is not a servant of Christ: “For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” (Galatians 1:10, KJV)

The words of the Bible are lovingly written to us by our beloved Lord. Only when we read them with divine love and a desire to know Him more will we come to understand the truth. Then we will be able to discern false teachers and those who preach to please men.

If we live by sermons that please men, we may face eternal death. But if we walk according to the teachings of those who preach what is pleasing to God, we will receive eternal life. Let us pray for enlightened eyes of understanding to discern between the two.

🦋 Meditation verse - எண்ணாகமம் 14 : 24 / Numbers 14:24

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1601                                          ஆதவன் 26.06.2025 வியாழன்   

"என்னுடைய தாசனாகிய காலேப் வேறே ஆவியை உடையவனாயிருக்கிறபடியினாலும், உத்தமமாய் என்னைப் பின்பற்றி வந்தபடியினாலும், அவன் போய் வந்த தேசத்திலே அவனைச் சேரப்பண்ணுவேன்; அவன் சந்ததியார் அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள்." ( எண்ணாகமம் 14 : 24 )

இந்த உலக கானானுக்குள் கர்த்தரின் தாசனாகிய காலேப் நுழைந்திடக்  காரணம் அவரிடமிருந்த "வேறே ஆவி" என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. இந்த "வேறே ஆவி" என்பது பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைத்தான். லட்சக்கணக்கான மக்கள் ஒருபுறமும் காலேபும் யோசுவாவும் மறுபுறமும் நின்றார்கள். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, மற்ற அனைவரும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் வார்த்தைக்கு எதிர்த்து நின்றார்கள். மட்டுமல்ல, அவர்கள் வித்தியாசமான ஆவியைக் கொண்டிருந்ததால் அவர்கள்மேல் கல்லெறியவும் துணிந்தார்கள். 

"அப்பொழுது அவர்கள்மேல் கல்லெறியவேண்டும் என்று சபையார் எல்லாரும் சொன்னார்கள்; உடனே கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தில் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எல்லாருக்கும் முன்பாகக் காணப்பட்டது." ( எண்ணாகமம் 14 : 10 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

இன்று நாம் பரம கானானுக்குள் நுழைய வேண்டுமானால் அதே பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நமக்குத் தேவையாக இருக்கின்றார். "நான் பிதாவை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுவேன், அப்பொழுது என்றென்றைக்கும் உங்களுடனேகூட இருக்கும்படிக்குச் சத்திய ஆவியாகிய வேறொரு தேற்றரவாளனை அவர் உங்களுக்குத் தந்தருளுவார்." ( யோவான் 14 : 16 ) என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. என்றென்றும் நம்மோடு இருக்கும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர்தான் நம்மைப் பரம கானானுக்கு நேராக நடத்திட முடியும். 

காரணம், "சத்திய ஆவியாகிய அவர் வரும்போது, சகல சத்தியத்திற்குள்ளும் உங்களை நடத்துவார்; அவர் தம்முடைய சுயமாய்ப் பேசாமல், தாம் கேள்விப்பட்டவைகள் யாவையுஞ்சொல்லி, வரப்போகிற காரியங்களை உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பார்." ( யோவான் 16 : 13 ) என்றார் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. ஆனாலும் இன்றும் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்று தங்களைக் கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பலர் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை அறியாமலும் அவரை அறிந்தவர்களை எதிர்த்து நிற்கின்றவர்களாகவும் இருக்கின்றனர். 

இது இப்போதல்ல திருச்சபையின் ஆரம்ப காலத்திலேயே நடந்தது. முதல் இரத்த சாட்சியான ஸ்தேவான் கொல்லப்பட மக்கள் இந்த வேறே ஆவியான பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை அறியாததே காரணம். ஸ்தேவான் தான் கல்லெறியப்படுமுன் செய்த பிரசங்கத்தில் கூறுகின்றார், "வணங்காக் கழுத்துள்ளவர்களே, இருதயத்திலும் செவிகளிலும் விருத்தசேதனம் பெறாதவர்களே, உங்கள் பிதாக்களைப்போல நீங்களும் பரிசுத்த ஆவிக்கு எப்பொழுதும் எதிர்த்துநிற்கிறீர்கள்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 7 : 51 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, பரம கானானுக்குள் நாம் பிரவேசிக்க பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் வழித்துணை அவசியம். அவரே நம்மைத் தூய்மையான வழியில் நடத்திடமுடியும். மற்ற மனிதர்கள் கூறுவது நமக்கு முக்கியமல்ல, வேதம் காட்டக்கூடிய வழியே முக்கியம். காலேப் வேறே ஆவியை உடையவனாயிருந்தபடியினாலும், உத்தமமாய்க்  கர்த்தரைப் பின்பற்றி வந்தபடியினாலும் மண்ணக கானானுக்குள் பிரவேசித்தார். நாமும் உத்தமமாய்க் கர்த்தரைப் பின்பற்றி விண்ணக கானானுக்குள் நுழைய   சத்திய ஆவியாகிய தேற்றரவாளர்ரை நாம் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவேண்டியது அவசியம்.

AATHAVAN – Thursday, 26.06.2025

“But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.” — Numbers 14:24 (KJV)

Today’s meditation verse says that God’s servant Caleb entered the land of Canaan because he had “another spirit.” This “another spirit” refers to the Holy Spirit. On one side stood the multitude of people, and on the other stood only Caleb and Joshua.

Yes, beloved, all the others stood in opposition to the Word of the Holy Spirit. Not only that, because Caleb and Joshua had a different spirit, the people even dared to stone them.

“But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.” — Numbers 14:10 (KJV)

Today, if we desire to enter the heavenly Canaan, we too need the same Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus Christ said:

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.” — John 14:16 (KJV)

Only the Holy Spirit, who abides with us forever, can guide us directly into the heavenly Canaan.

For, Jesus also said:

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” — John 16:13 (KJV)

Yet, even today, many who claim to be Christians neither know the Holy Spirit nor accept those who do. This is not new; it happened in the early Church as well. The reason the first martyr Stephen was stoned was that the people did not know the Holy Spirit — the very “another spirit” Caleb had.

Before he was stoned, Stephen declared in his sermon:

“Ye stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.” — Acts 7:51 (KJV)

Yes, beloved, if we are to enter the heavenly Canaan, the guidance of the Holy Spirit is essential. He alone can lead us in the holy path. What others say is not what matters — what matters is the way shown in the Scriptures.

Caleb entered the earthly Canaan because he had another spirit and because he fully followed the Lord. Likewise, in order to enter the heavenly Canaan, we must receive the Spirit of truth, the Comforter, and follow the Lord faithfully.

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 இராஜாக்கள் 17 : 9 / 1 Kings 17:9

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1600                                          ஆதவன் 25.06.2025 புதன்  

"நீ எழுந்து, சீதோனுக்கடுத்த சாறிபாத் ஊருக்குப்போய், அங்கே தங்கியிரு; உன்னைப் பராமரிக்கும்படி அங்கே இருக்கிற ஒரு விதவைக்குக்  கட்டளையிட்டேன்." ( 1 இராஜாக்கள் 17 : 9 )

இக்கட்டான வேளைகளில் தேவன்  தனது ஊழியர்களையும் தனக்கு ஏற்புடையவர்களாக வாழும் மக்களையும் தப்புவிக்க அதிசயமான வழிகளில்  உதவிசெய்கிறார்.  இந்த அற்புதமான உதவி அவரது சொல்லுக்கு நாம் விசுவாசத்துடன் கீழ்ப்படியும்போது நமக்குப் பலிக்கும். பஞ்சகாலத்தில் தனது ஊழியக்காரனாகிய எலியாவுக்கு தேவனால் அருளப்பட்ட இந்த வார்த்தைகளை எலியா விசுவாசித்து தேவன் கூறியபடி சாறிபாத் ஊருக்குப் புறப்பட்டார்.  

எலியாவைப்போல நாமும் இன்று சோர்ந்துபோயிருக்கலாம். வாழ்க்கைச் சூழ்நிலை நம்மை மனமடியச் செய்திருக்கலாம். ஆனால், நாம் அவருக்கு ஏற்புடைய வாழ்வு வாழும்போது தேவன் நமக்காக மாற்று ஆயத்தம் செய்திருப்பார். எலியாவுக்கு ஒரு விதவை இருந்ததுபோல நமக்கும் உதவிட மனிதர்களை அவர் ஏற்பாடு செய்திருப்பார். 

ஆனால் நாம் தேவனது வாக்குறுதிகளை விசுவாசிக்கவேண்டும். தேவன் கூறும் வார்த்தைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கவேண்டும். இந்தப் பஞ்சகாலத்தில் பணக்காரர்களே உணவில்லாமல் தவிக்கிறார்கள் ஏழை விதவை எப்படி நமக்கு உணவுத்தருவாள்? என்று எலியா எண்ணியிருந்தால் உணவு கிடைத்திருக்காது.  

ஒருவேளை இதுபோல ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வில் நாம் சோர்ந்துபோயிருக்கலாம், அல்லது ஆவிக்குரிய உணவு நமக்குப் போதுமான அளவு கிடைக்காமல் இருக்கலாம். அல்லது இத்தனை வயதாகியும் நமக்கு ஆவிக்குரிய உணவைக்குறித்து அறிவில்லாமலிருக்கலாம். பல்வேறு தேவர்களையும் பல்வேறு ஊழியர்களையும் தேடி ஓடி சலிப்படைந்திருக்கலாம். ஆனால் நாம் தயங்கிடத் தேவையில்லை. 

எலியாவுக்கு தேவன் கூறியதுபோல இன்று நம்மை நோக்கிக் கூறுகின்றார், "நீ எழுந்து, கல்வாரிநாதரான கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் போ. அவரோடே தங்கியிரு; அவரே உன்னோடு இருந்து உன்னைப் பராமரித்து  நடத்துவார்.  

தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையை நம்பி சாறிபாத் விதவையைநோக்கி எலியா சென்றதுபோல கல்வாரி நாதரை நோக்கி நாம் செல்லவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கிறது. "நானே வானத்திலிருந்திறங்கின ஜீவஅப்பம்; இந்த அப்பத்தைப் புசிக்கிறவன் என்றென்றைக்கும் பிழைப்பான்; நான் கொடுக்கும் அப்பம் உலகத்தின் ஜீவனுக்காக நான் கொடுக்கும் என் மாம்சமே" ( யோவான் 6 : 51 ) என்று வாக்களித்த இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வாக்குறுதியை நம்புவோம். 

அன்று யூதர்கள் இயேசுவின் வார்த்தையால் இடறலடைந்தார்கள். "நமக்கு இவன்  எப்படித் தனது உடலைத் தரமுடியும்? என்றனர். மட்டுமல்ல, அவரோடு நடந்த பலர், "இது கடினமான உபதேசம்" என்று கூறி அவரைவிட்டுப் பிரிந்தனர். அவர்கள் இன்றுவரை தங்களைப் பராமரிப்பவரை அறியவில்லை. 

விருந்துகளில் சற்று தாமதமாக நாம் சென்றால் சில உணவு வகைகள் நமக்குக் கிடைக்காமல்  போகும். சிலவேளைகளில் எதுவுமே கிடைக்காமல் போகலாம். ஆம், உலக விருந்துகளுக்கு  காலம், இடம், நேரம் முக்கியம். சரியான காலத்தில், சரியான வேளையில் சென்றால்  மட்டுமே உணவு கிடைக்கும். ஆனால் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து எவரையும் புறம்தள்ளுவதில்லை. நமது வயதும்  நமக்குத் தடையல்ல. எனவே விசுவாசத்தோடு தைரியமாக அவரை நோக்கிச் செல்வோம்.

நீ எழுந்து, கொல்கொதாவுக்குச் சென்று, அங்கே தங்கியிரு; உன்னைப் பராமரிக்கும்படி அங்கே இருக்கிற கர்த்தராகிய  இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு பிதாவாகிய தேவன் அருள்புரிந்துள்ளார். உலக பிரச்சனைகள், கவலைகள் குறைபாடுகள் இவற்றோடு நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வாழ்வின் குறைகளையும் அவர் நிறைவாக்குவார்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1600
AATHAVAN | Wednesday, 25.06.2025

“Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.” — 1 Kings 17:9

In difficult times, God helps His servants and those who live a life pleasing to Him through miraculous ways. These divine provisions bear fruit when we faithfully obey His Word. During a severe famine, the prophet Elijah trusted these words spoken by God and set out to Zarephath, just as the Lord commanded.

Like Elijah, we too may feel weary today. The circumstances of life might have discouraged us. But when we live in a way that pleases God, He has already prepared a way of escape for us. Just as He had appointed a widow for Elijah, God has appointed people to help and sustain us.

However, we must believe in God's promises. We must listen attentively to His voice. If Elijah had doubted and thought, “Even the rich are starving in this famine—how could a poor widow provide me food?”, he would not have received what God had planned for him.

Perhaps in our spiritual journey, we too have become weary. Or maybe we are not receiving enough spiritual nourishment. Or even at an advanced age, we might still lack true understanding of spiritual food. We may have grown tired running from place to place in search of different gods and servants of God. But we need not hesitate.

Even today, just as God told Elijah, He says to us: “Arise, go to the Lord Jesus Christ of Calvary and dwell with Him; for He shall be with thee and sustain thee.”

Just as Elijah believed God’s word and went to the widow of Zarephath, we too must go to the Lord of Calvary, believing in Him. Let us trust in the promise of Jesus Christ who said:

“I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” — John 6:51 (KJV)

On that day, many of the Jews stumbled at these words. “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” they questioned. Not only that, many of His disciples said, “This is an hard saying; who can hear it?” and walked away from Him. Even today, they have not come to know the One who alone can truly sustain them.

When we arrive late to earthly banquets, certain dishes may be finished. Sometimes, we may not get anything at all. Yes, time, place, and punctuality matter at worldly feasts. Only those who come at the right moment receive what is served. But the Lord Jesus Christ never turns anyone away. Our age is no barrier to Him. Therefore, let us go to Him with faith and boldness.

Arise, go to Golgotha and dwell there; for the Lord Jesus Christ has been appointed by the Father to sustain you. He will fulfil every spiritual lack in our lives—along with resolving our worldly troubles, anxieties, and shortcomings.

🦋 Meditation verse - நியாயாதிபதிகள் 6 : 12 / Judges 6:12

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1599                                          ஆதவன்,  24.06.2025 செவ்வாய்           

"கர்த்தருடைய தூதனானவர் அவனுக்குத் தரிசனமாகி: பராக்கிரமசாலியே கர்த்தர் உன்னோடே இருக்கிறார் என்றார்." ( நியாயாதிபதிகள் 6 : 12 )

இந்த உலகம் நம்மை எத்தனை அற்பமானவர்களாகக் கருதினாலும் கர்த்தர் அப்படி நம்மைப் பார்ப்பதில்லை. அவர் நம்மில் எவரையும் பயன்படுத்த முடியும். அதுபோலவே  நாம் உடல்வலு, பணம், பதவி இவற்றில் எவ்வளவு பலவீனர்களாக இருந்தாலும் கர்த்தர் நம்மைப் பலவான்களாக மாற்றிட முடியும். அதனையே நாம் கிதியோனது வாழ்வின்மூலம் அறிய முடிகின்றது. 

மீதியானியர்  இஸ்ரவேலர்மேல் பலத்திருந்த காலம் அது. மீதியானியர் அவ்வப்போது இஸ்ரவேலரை நெருக்கி  அவர்களது உடைமைகளையும் அவர்களது வயலின் விளைச்சல்களையும் கொள்ளையிட்டனர். அப்போது இஸ்ரவேலர் தங்களுக்கு ஒரு இரட்சகன் கிடையமாட்டானா என்று ஏங்கித் தவித்தனர். அப்போது ஒருநாள் கிதியோன் எனும் வாலிபன்  தனது கோதுமைப் பயிரை அறுவடைசெய்து அதனைப் போரடித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தான். 

மீதியானியர்கள் வந்து அதனைக் கொள்ளையடித்துவிடக்கூடாது என்பதற்காக தனது ஆலையின் அருகிலேயே வைத்து அதனைப் போரடித்தான். ஏனெனில் மீதியானியர் எப்போது வருவார்கள் என்று தெரியாது. அப்போதுதான் கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் அவன்முன் வந்து நின்று, "பராக்கிரமசாலியே கர்த்தர் உன்னோடே இருக்கிறார் என்றார்." ஆனால் கிதியோன் தனது அற்பமான குடும்ப நிலைமையை எடுத்துக் கூறுகின்றான். "ஆ என் ஆண்டவரே, நான் இஸ்ரவேலை எதினாலே இரட்சிப்பேன்; இதோ, மனாசேயில் என் குடும்பம் மிகவும் எளியது; என் தகப்பன் வீட்டில் நான் எல்லாரிலும் சிறியவன் என்றான்." ( நியாயாதிபதிகள் 6 : 15 )

அன்பானவர்களே, கிதியோன்போல நாமும் நம்மைப் பலவீனர்கள் எனக் கருதி இதுபோல சூழ்நிலைகளை எண்ணிப்  பயந்துகொண்டிருக்கலாம். நம்மைவிட பலசாலிகளான மற்றவர்களுக்குக்கூட  இப்படி நடந்துள்ளதே,  அப்படியானால் நாம் எம்மாத்திரம் என எண்ணலாம். ஆனால் கர்த்தருடைய கரம் நம்மோடு இருக்குமானால் நாம் பலசாலிகள் என்பதை உணர்ந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும். கர்த்தர் நம்மோடு இருப்பாரானால்  நமக்கு இருக்கின்ற அற்பமான பலமே நமது எல்லா பிரச்சனைகளையும் சமாளிக்கப் போதுமானது. 

எனவேதான் கர்த்தர் கிதியோனைப்பார்த்து, "உனக்கு இருக்கிற இந்தப் பலத்தோடே போ; நீ இஸ்ரவேலை மீதியானியரின் கைக்கு நீங்கலாக்கி இரட்சிப்பாய்; உன்னை அனுப்புகிறவர் நான் அல்லவா என்றார்." ( நியாயாதிபதிகள் 6 : 14 ) ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, "என் கிருபை உனக்குப் போதும் பலவீனத்தில் என் பலம் பூரணமாய் விளங்கும்" என்று அவர் பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலரைத் திடப்படுத்தவில்லையா? கர்த்தர் நம்மோடு இருக்கும்போது பிரச்சனைகளை மேற்கொள்ளவும் சமாளிக்கவும் நமக்கு இருக்கும் கொஞ்சமான மனித பலம் போதும். 

ஆனாலும் கிதியோன் தனது அற்ப நிலைமையை எண்ணி தேவனிடம் அதனை அறிக்கையிட்டதைப்போல நாமும்  கர்த்தரிடம் அறிக்கையிடலாம். "ஆண்டவரே, நான் பலவீனமானவன் அல்லவா? எனது படிப்பு, குடும்பம், எனது தொழில், எனது வருமானம், எனது உடல்நிலை எல்லாமே மோசமானதாக அல்லவா இருக்கின்றது? நான் எப்படி இந்தப் பிரச்சனைகளைச்  சமாளிப்பேன்?" என அவரிடம் கூறலாம். ஆனால் கர்த்தர் கிதியோனிடம் கூறியது போலவே நம்மோடும் கூறுகின்றார், "வேறு எதனையும் பார்க்காதே, நான் உன்னோடு இருக்கின்றேன்".

தனது பலவீனத்தை ஒத்துக்கொண்டு அதனை தேவனிடம் அறிக்கையிட்ட கிதியோனிடம் தேவன் "நான் உன்னோடேகூட இருப்பேன்; ஒரே மனுஷனை முறிய அடிப்பதுபோல நீ மீதியானியரை முறிய அடிப்பாய் என்றார்." ( நியாயாதிபதிகள் 6 : 16 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமது பலவீனங்களைப் பார்க்கவேண்டாம்; சூழ்நிலைகளைப் பார்க்கவேண்டாம்; பிரச்சனைகளின் தன்மையினைப் பார்த்துப் பயப்படவேண்டாம்.  கர்த்தர் நம்மோடு இருப்பாரானால் நாம் பலசாலிகள்தான்;  பராக்கிரமசாலிகள்தான்.  எத்தனைப் பெரிய பிரச்சனைகள், துன்பங்கள் வந்தாலும் நாம் அவற்றை மேற்கொள்ள முடியும். அன்பானவர்களே, சோர்ந்துபோகவேண்டாம். ஏனெனில்  கர்த்தர் சொல்கின்றார், " நான் உன்னோடேகூட இருப்பேன்"

Scripture Meditation No. 1599

AATHAVAN – Tuesday, 24.06.2025

"And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour."— Judges 6:12

No matter how insignificant the world may consider us, God does not see us that way. He can use anyone among us for His divine purposes. Even if we are weak in physical strength, lacking in wealth, or low in status, the Lord has the power to transform us into strong and courageous people. This is clearly seen in the life of Gideon.

At the time, the Midianites had oppressed the Israelites severely. They repeatedly attacked and plundered their belongings and harvests. The Israelites longed for a deliverer to rescue them from this bondage. During that period, a young man named Gideon was threshing wheat, hiding near a winepress to keep it safe from the Midianites, uncertain of when they might strike.

He threshed the grain near the winepress to hide it from the Midianites, so they wouldn't come and seize it. He did this because he never knew when the Midianites might attack. It was at that moment that the angel of the Lord appeared before him and said, "The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour." But Gideon responded by highlighting his humble family background. "Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? Behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house." (Judges 6:15)

Dearly beloved, like Gideon, we too may see ourselves as weak and fear our circumstances. We might even think, “If such things could happen to those stronger than us, how much more vulnerable are we?” But we must remember that if the Lord’s hand is upon us, then we are strong. When the Lord is with us, the little strength we do have is enough to face all our challenges.

That is why the Lord said to Gideon:

"Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?" — Judges 6:14 (KJV)

Yes, beloved, did He not also strengthen Apostle Paul by saying:

"My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)

When God is with us, our little human strength is more than enough to face and overcome our problems.

Still, like Gideon, who acknowledged his weakness before God, we too can pour out our concerns before the Lord: “Lord, am I not weak? My education, my family, my job, my income, my health—aren’t all of these in poor condition? How can I face these problems?” But just as God assured Gideon, He tells us the same today: “Don’t look at anything else. I am with you.”

When Gideon confessed his weakness, God said to him:

"Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man." — Judges 6:16 (KJV)

Yes, beloved, let us not look at our weaknesses, nor at our circumstances, nor fear the nature of our problems. If the Lord is with us, we are strong—indeed, mighty warriors! No matter how great the troubles or afflictions may be, we will be able to overcome them.

Dear ones, do not lose heart, for the Lord says: "Surely I will be with thee."

🦋 Meditation verse - எஸ்றா 9 : 6 / Ezra 9:6

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1598                                          ஆதவன்,  23.06.2025 திங்கள்          

"என் தேவனே, நான் என் முகத்தை என் தேவனாகிய உமக்கு முன்பாக ஏறெடுக்க வெட்கிக் கலங்குகிறேன்; எங்கள் அக்கிரமங்கள் எங்கள் தலைக்கு மேலாகப் பெருகிற்று; எங்கள் குற்றம் வானபரியந்தம் வளர்ந்துபோயிற்று." ( எஸ்றா 9 : 6 )

நாம் மெய்யான ஆவிக்குரிய மக்களாக இருப்போமென்றால் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் எஸ்றா கூறுவது போன்ற அனுபவம் நமக்கும் ஏற்பட்டிருக்கும். அதாவது தேவனுக்குமுன் நாம் ஜெபத்துக்காக நிற்கும்போது நமக்குள் பாவ உணர்வு ஏற்பட்டிருக்கும். நம்மால் தேவனை நோக்கி விடுதலையுடன் ஜெபிக்கமுடியாது;  ஆராதிக்கமுடியாது. நமது மனச்சாட்சி நம்மை வாதிக்கும். 

இவ்வளவுக்கும் இந்த வசனத்தைக் கூறும் எஸ்றா சாதாரண மனிதனல்ல, அவர்  மிகப்பெரிய வேத அறிஞராக இருந்தார். தேவனோடு நெருங்கிய ஐக்கியத்தில் அவர் வாழ்ந்தார். எனவே, பாபிலோனிலிருந்து இஸ்ரவேலர் விடுதலைப்பெற்று எருசலேம் தேவாலயத்தைக் கட்டும்படி வந்தபோது எஸ்றா ராஜாவிடம் கேட்ட உதவிகளையெல்லாம் ராஜா அவருக்குக் கொடுத்து உதவினார். "இந்த எஸ்றா இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அருளிய மோசேயின் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திலே தேறின வேதபாரகனாயிருந்தான்; அவனுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய கரம் அவன்மேல் இருந்ததினால், அவன் கேட்டவைகளையெல்லாம் ராஜா அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்." ( எஸ்றா 7 : 6 ) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

மட்டுமல்ல, எஸ்றா அவராக எந்தப்பாவமும் செய்யவில்லை. மாறாக அவர் வழிநடத்திய மக்கள் செய்த பாவங்களைத் தனது பாவமாகக் கருதி இந்த ஜெபத்தை தேவனை நோக்கி ஏறெடுக்கின்றார். 

தேவன் தனது மக்களுக்குக் கூறியிருந்த முக்கியமான கட்டளைகளில் ஒன்று பிற இனத்துப் பெண்களோடு திருமண உறவு கொள்ளக்கூடாது என்பதாகும். ஆனால் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களில் பலர் இந்தக் கட்டளையை மீறினார்கள். இதனையே கடவுளுக்கு ஏற்பில்லாத பாவத்தைச் செய்ததால்  "என் தேவனே, நான் என் முகத்தை என் தேவனாகிய உமக்கு முன்பாக ஏறெடுக்க வெட்கிக் கலங்குகிறேன்; எங்கள் அக்கிரமங்கள் எங்கள் தலைக்கு மேலாகப் பெருகிற்று"  என்கின்றார் எஸ்றா. 

ஆவிக்குரிய அனுபவமில்லாத மக்கள் எப்போது வேண்டுமானாலும் என்னவேண்டுமானாலும் செய்வார்கள். ஆனால் ஆவிக்குரிய மக்கள் தேவ நோக்கம் அறிந்தவர்களாக, தேவ கட்டளையின்படியே எதனையும் செய்வார்கள்.  இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தனது சகோதர்களிடம், "என் வேளை இன்னும் வரவில்லை, உங்கள் வேளையோ எப்பொழுதும் ஆயத்தமாயிருக்கிறது." ( யோவான் 7 : 6 ) என்றார். ஆவிக்குரிய அனுபவமில்லாதவர்களுக்கு எல்லா வேளையும்  எதுவும் செய்யும் எண்ணமிருக்கும்; ஆவிக்குரியவர்கள் அப்படிப்பட்டவர்களல்ல. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனுக்கு ஏற்பில்லாத செயலைச் செய்துவிட்டு பின்னர் அவரிடம் ஒப்புரவு ஆகாமல் ஆவிக்குரிய மனிதனால்  ஜெபிக்கவோ வேதம் வாசிக்கவோ முடியாது. இதுவே எஸ்றாவின் அனுபவமாக இருந்ததால் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் தேவனாகிய உமக்கு முன்பாக என் முகத்தை ஏறெடுக்க வெட்கிக் கலங்குகிறேன் என்கின்றார். 

நம்மை நாம் நிதானித்துப் பார்ப்போம். நமது ஜெபங்கள் எப்படி இருக்கின்றன. எந்த மனச்சாட்சியின் உணர்வுமில்லாமல் பாவ இதயத்துடன் ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றோமா? அப்படியானால் நமது ஜெபத்தை தேவன் கேட்பது கூடாத காரியம்.

ஜெபம் செய்யுமுன்  நமது செயல்களை எண்ணிப்பார்ப்போம். பாவத்துடன் தேவனது முகத்தை  ஏறெடுக்க நமக்கும் எஸ்றாவைப்போல  வெட்கம் உண்டாகவேண்டும். தேவனுக்கு எதிரான பாவங்கள் செய்திருப்போமானால் முதலில் அவரது இரத்தத்தால் நமது பாவங்கள் கழுவி மன்னிக்கப்பட வேண்டுதல் செய்வோம். பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டபின் நாம் செய்யும் வேண்டுதல்கள் வித்தியாசமானதாக, தேவனுக்கு ஏற்புடையதாக இருக்கும்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1598
AATHAVAN – Monday, 23.06.2025

"O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens." (Ezra 9:6, KJV)

If we are truly spiritual people, we too would have had an experience similar to what Ezra expresses in today’s meditation verse. That is, when we stand before God in prayer, we would have felt a deep conviction of sin within us. We cannot pray freely or worship boldly before God; our conscience would accuse us.

Remarkably, the Ezra who utters this verse is not just an ordinary man. He was a great scribe, deeply learned in the Law of God, and lived in close fellowship with Him. Therefore, when the Israelites were freed from Babylon and returned to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple, the king granted Ezra all the assistance he requested.

As it is written: “This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the Lord his God upon him.” (Ezra 7:6, KJV)

Not only that, Ezra himself had not committed any sin. Yet, he considered the sins of the people he was leading as his own and offered this heartfelt prayer to God.

One of the most important commandments God had given His people was that they should not intermarry with women from other nations. But many among the Israelites had violated this very command. That is why Ezra laments before God saying: "O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head."

People without spiritual experience will do whatever they like, whenever they like. But spiritual people, being aware of God’s will, act only in accordance with His commandments. This is what Jesus said to His brethren:

"My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready." (John 7:6, KJV) 

Those without spiritual discernment believe any time is right for anything. But spiritual people are not like that.

Dear beloved, after committing an act that displeases God, a spiritual person cannot simply pray or read the Scriptures without first making amends. That’s why Ezra confesses in today’s verse, "I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee."

Let us examine ourselves. How are our prayers? Are we praying with a heart full of sin, without the slightest prick of conscience? If so, it is only natural that God would not heed our prayers.

Before we pray, let us reflect on our deeds. Like Ezra, we too must be ashamed to lift our face to God if there is sin in our hearts. If we have committed sins against God, we must first seek forgiveness, asking that our sins be washed away by His blood. Only then will our supplications become meaningful and acceptable to God.

🦋 Meditation verse - 2 இராஜாக்கள் 3 : 17, 18 / 2 Kings 3:17–18

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1597                                          ஆதவன்,  22.06.2025 ஞாயிறு         

"நீங்கள் காற்றையும் காணமாட்டீர்கள், மழையையும் காணமாட்டீர்கள்; ஆனாலும் நீங்களும் உங்கள் ஆடுமாடுகளும் உங்கள் மிருகஜீவன்களும் குடிக்கும்படிக்கு, இந்தப் பள்ளத்தாக்கு தண்ணீரால் நிரப்பப்படும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். இது கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்கு அற்பகாரியம்." ( 2 இராஜாக்கள் 3 : 17, 18 )

நாம் இக்காட்டான வேளைகளில் நமது விடுதலைக்காக ஜெபிக்கும்போது  சிலவேளைகளில் சூழ்நிலைகள் எல்லாமே நமக்கு எதிராக இருப்பதுபோலத் தோன்றலாம். இந்த இக்கட்டான வேளையில் எப்படி நம்மால் வெற்றிபெறமுடியும் என்று நாம் எண்ணலாம். நமது விசுவாசமே ஆட்டம்காணலாம். ஆனால், ஒன்றுமில்லாமையிலிருந்து இந்த ஆண்ட சராசரங்களைப் படைத்தவர் தேவன்; அவரால் கூடாத காரியம் எதுவுமே இல்லை என்பதனை நாம் மறந்துவிடக் கூடாது. 

"இதோ, நான் மாம்சமான யாவருக்கும் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்; என்னாலே செய்யக்கூடாத அதிசயமான காரியம் ஒன்றுண்டோ?" ( எரேமியா 32 : 27 ) என்று நமது விசுவாசத்துக்குத்  திடன் தருகின்றார்  கர்த்தர். 

இருபுறமும்  மலைகள் சூழ்ந்த பள்ளத்தாக்கு. எதிரே செங்கடல். பின்னால் கொல்வதற்கு நெருங்கும் பார்வோனின் படைகள்; தப்பிக்க வழியே இல்லை. ஆனால் தேவன் அதிசயம் செய்து செங்கடலை பிளந்து இஸ்ரவேலரைக் கால் நனையாமல் கடலைக் கடக்கப்பண்ணினார்.  

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இதுபோலவே யூதாவுக்கு எதிராக போருக்கு  வரும் மோவாபியரை எதிராக இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜா யோராம்,  யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோசபாத், மற்றும் ஏதோமின் ராஜா ஆகிய மூவரும் வனாந்தரம் வழியாக போருக்குப் புறப்பட்டனர். ஏழு நாட்கள் கடந்தபின்னர் வழியில் தண்ணீரில்லாததால் படைவீரர்களும், குதிரைகளும் தவித்தனர். அப்போது அவர்கள் கர்த்தரிடம் விசாரிக்க எலிசாவை அணுகினர். அப்போது கர்த்தர் எலிசாவிடம் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தைக் கூறினார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, இந்தச் சூழ்நிலையினை எண்ணிப்பாருங்கள். இடமோ வனாந்தரம்.  ஆனால் கர்த்தர் சொல்கின்றார், "நீங்கள் காற்றையும் காணமாட்டீர்கள், மழையையும் காணமாட்டீர்கள்; ஆனாலும் நீங்களும் உங்கள் ஆடுமாடுகளும் உங்கள் மிருகஜீவன்களும் குடிக்கும்படிக்கு, இந்தப் பள்ளத்தாக்கு தண்ணீரால் நிரப்பப்படும் என்று". அதுபோலவே கர்த்தர் செய்து தனது மக்களுக்கு வெற்றியைக் கொடுத்தார். 

இதுபோலவே இன்று நாம் பல்வேறு காரியங்களுக்காக ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கலாம். அந்த ஜெபத்துக்கான பதில் உலக மனிதர்கள் எண்ணுவதுபோன்ற வழிகளிலல்ல, மாறாக காற்றும் மழையும் இல்லாமல் அதிசயமாக தேவன்  பள்ளத்தாக்கினை தண்ணீரால் நிரப்பியதுபோன்ற அதிசய வழியில் நமது வாழ்வில் நிறைவேறும். ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, சூழ்நிலைகளைப்  பார்க்காமல் சூழ்நிலைகளை மாற்றவல்ல கர்த்தரை நோக்கிப் பார்ப்போம்.  

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து செய்த பல்வேறு அற்புதங்களும் இப்படிப்பட்டவைதான். அவை நாம் எண்ணிப்பார்க்க முடியாத இயற்கைக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டவை.. மரித்து நான்கு நாட்களுக்குப்பின் எழுப்பப்பட்ட லாசர், பாடையில் கிடத்தப்பட்டு அடக்கத்துக்குக் கொண்டுபோகப்பட்ட  வாலிபன், மரித்துப்போன சிறுமி, 38 ஆண்டுகள் பெதஸ்தா குளக்கரையில் படுத்திருந்த மனிதன், 18 ஆண்டுகள் நிமிரக்கூடாத கூனி, 12 ஆண்டுகளாக இரத்தப்போக்கினால் பெரும்பாடு அனுபவித்தப் பெண்........ இப்படிப் பலருக்கு  இயற்கைக்கு மாறான வழியில் நடந்த அதிசயங்கள் வேதாகமத்தில் நமது விசுவாச வளர்ச்சிக்காகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன. 

எனவே, சூழ்நிலைகளை நோக்காமல் கர்த்தரையே விசுவாசத்தோடு நோக்கி ஜெபிப்போம். காற்றையும் காணமல், மழையையும் காணாமல் நமது  பள்ளத்தாக்கு வாழ்க்கை தண்ணீரால் நிரப்பப்படும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். அது நமக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, அன்று கால்நடைகளுக்கும் மற்றும் அங்கிருந்த பலருக்கும் உதவியதுபோல நம்மைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கும் பலருக்கும்கூட  ஆசீர்வாதமாக இருக்கும்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1597

“For thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts. And this is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord...” — 2 Kings 3:17–18 (KJV)

At times when we pray earnestly for deliverance during seasons of wilderness, everything around us may seem completely contrary to our hopes. We may wonder how we can ever overcome in such a situation. Our faith may begin to waver. But we must never forget that the One who created the skies from nothing is our God—and with Him, nothing is impossible.

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” — Jeremiah 32:27 (KJV)

Imagine this: a valley surrounded by mountains on both sides, the Red Sea lying ahead, and Pharaoh’s army closing in from behind to kill. There was no route for escape. But God performed a miracle—He parted the sea, and the Israelites walked through on dry ground.

In the same way, the king of Israel, Jehoram; the king of Judah, Jehoshaphat; and the king of Edom joined together to fight against Moab. They marched through the wilderness. After seven days, their water supply ran out, leaving soldiers and animals weary and faint. It was then that they sought the Lord and approached the prophet, Elisha. At that moment, the Lord gave them today’s meditation verse.

Think about that situation: the location was a barren wilderness. Yet, the Lord declared, “Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water.” And that’s exactly what God did—He filled the valley with water and gave victory to His people.

Likewise, today, you may be praying for many things. But the answer may not come in the way people expect. Instead of wind and rain, God may miraculously fill your valley with water by divine means beyond nature. Yes, beloved, let us not fix our eyes on our circumstances—but on the One who can change them entirely.

Our Lord Jesus Christ performed many such miracles that defied natural understanding:

* Lazarus, raised from the dead after four days

* The young man carried out for burial, restored to life

* The dead girl whom Jesus called back

* The man who lay 38 years by the pool of Bethesda

* The woman bowed down for 18 years, unable to lift herself

* The woman who suffered from an issue of blood for 12 years

All these miracles are recorded in the Bible for the strengthening of our faith.

So let us not look at the conditions around us. Let us look to the Lord with unwavering faith. He says He will fill our valley-life with water—even without wind or rain. That blessing will not only benefit us but, just as in the biblical account, it will refresh the cattle and the community around. Your miracle will become a blessing to many.
