"விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1589                                          ஆதவன் 14.06.2025 சனி 

"அழுகிறதினால் என் முகம் அழுக்கடைந்தது; மரண இருள் என் கண்ணிமைகளின்மேல் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது. என் கைகளிலே கொடுமையில்லாதிருக்கையிலும், என் ஜெபம் சுத்தமாயிருக்கையிலும், அப்படியாயிற்று." ( யோபு 16 : 16, 17 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் யோபுவின் அடக்கமுடியாத மனத்துயரத்தின் வெளிப்பாடாக இருக்கின்றது. வாழ்வில் ஒன்றுமில்லாமல் வாழ்பவர்களைவிட எல்லாச் செல்வத்தையும் அனுபவித்துப்  பின் அவை அனைத்தையும் ஒன்றுசேர இழக்கும் மனிதனின் மனத்துயர் அளவிடமுடியாதது. யோபு அப்படிப்பட்டத் துயரத்தைத்தான் அனுபவித்தார். இதனால், "அழுகிறதினால் என் முகம் அழுக்கடைந்தது; மரண இருள் என் கண்ணிமைகளின்மேல் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது" என்கின்றார். 

இந்த உலகத்தில் இப்படித் துன்பம் அனுபவிப்பவர்களை பலரும் பலவிதமாகப் பேசுவார்கள். "நல்ல விதமாகச் சம்பாதித்திருந்தால் அந்தச் செல்வம் நிலைத்திருக்கும்....இவன் துன்மார்க்கமாய்ச்  சம்பாதித்ததுதானே?  அது எப்படி நிலைத்திருக்கும்?" என்று கேலியாகப்பேசுவார்கள். யோபுவைப்பார்த்தும் அவரது நண்பர்கள் இப்படித்தான் பேசினார்கள். ஆனால், "ஊத்ஸ் தேசத்திலே யோபு என்னும் பேர்கொண்ட ஒரு மனுஷன் இருந்தான்; அந்த மனுஷன் உத்தமனும் சன்மார்க்கனும், தேவனுக்குப் பயந்து பொல்லாப்புக்கு விலகுகிறவனுமாயிருந்தான்". ( யோபு 1 : 1 ) என்று யோபு நூலின் துவக்கத்திலேயே நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

இதனையே இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் யோபு, "என் கைகளிலே கொடுமையில்லாதிருக்கையிலும், என் ஜெபம் சுத்தமாயிருக்கையிலும், அப்படியாயிற்று" என்று அங்கலாய்ப்புடன் கூறுகின்றார். மட்டுமல்ல, இப்படி எல்லாவற்றையும் இழந்தாலும் நான் சாகும்வரை எனது நீதிவாழ்க்கையில் தொடர்ந்து நடப்பேன் என்கின்றார் அவர். "என் சுவாசம் என்னிலும், தேவன் தந்த ஆவி என் நாசியிலும் இருக்குமட்டும், என் உதடுகள் தீமையைச் சொல்வதுமில்லை; என் நாக்கு கபடம் பேசுவதுமில்லை" ( யோபு 27 : 2, 3 ) என்று அவர் கூறுவது கவனிக்கத்தக்கது. 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்று நமக்கும் வாழ்க்கையில் இத்தகைய துன்பங்கள் நேர்ந்திருக்கலாம். நல்ல ஒரு வாழ்க்கை வாழ்ந்தபோதும் இன்று எல்லாவற்றையும் இழந்து வாழ்வில் எதிர்காலமே கேள்விக்குறியாக மாறியிருக்கலாம். ஆனால் நாமும் யோபுவைபோல மனஉறுதியுடன் இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம்.  "நான் நல்லவனாக, உத்தமனாக வாழ்ந்து என்ன பயன்?" எனும் எதிர்மறையான எண்ணங்களை நம்மைவிட்டு அகற்றி யோபுவைபோல தேவனையே நோக்கிப்பார்க்க முயலுவோம்.   

யோபுவைபோல நாமும் நம்மைக்குறித்து உறவினர்களும் நண்பர்களும் பேசும் பேச்சுக்களைக் கவனிக்காமல் தேவனை நோக்கி நமது பார்வையைத் தொடர்ந்துச் செலுத்துவோம்.  நமது வாழ்க்கையைக்குறித்து சாட்சிபகரவேண்டியது உலக மக்களல்ல. தேவனே நம்மைக்குறித்து மேலான சான்றளிப்பவர். இந்த உண்மையினை யோபு அறிந்திருந்ததால் கூறுகின்றார், "இப்போதும் இதோ, என் சாட்சி பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிறது எனக்குச் சாட்சி பகருகிறவர் உன்னதங்களில் இருக்கிறார்." ( யோபு 16 : 19 )

நமது கைகளில் கொடுமையில்லாதிருக்கையிலும், நமது ஜெபம் சுத்தமாயிருக்கையிலும் நமக்குத் துன்பங்கள் நேர்ந்திருக்கலாம். இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் யோபு கூறுவதுபோல அழுது அழுது  நமது முகம் அழுக்கடைந்திருக்கலாம்; மரண இருள் நமது கண்முன் தெரியலாம், ஆனாலும் மனம் சோர்வடையாமல் உறுதியாக இருப்போம்.  நமக்குச் எனக்குச் சாட்சி பகருகிறவர் உன்னதங்களில் இருக்கிறார். அவர் நம்மை என்றைக்கும் அழிவைக் காணாவிடமாட்டார்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1589
AATHAVAN – Saturday, 14.06.2025

“My face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids is the shadow of death; Not for any injustice in mine hands: also my prayer is pure.” — Job 16:16–17 (KJV)

Today’s meditation verse is a heartfelt expression of Job’s unbearable sorrow. The anguish of someone who once had everything but then lost it all cannot be measured—far greater than the pain of one who never had much to begin with. Job experienced such grief. That’s why he says, “My face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids is the shadow of death.”

In this world, those who suffer are often subjected to all kinds of judgmental talk. People may say, “If he had earned it honestly, the wealth would have lasted… He must have gained it through unjust means. That’s why he lost it all.” Job’s friends spoke just like that. But we read at the very beginning of the Book of Job that he was a righteous man:

“There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.” — Job 1:1 (KJV)

In today’s meditation verse, Job pleads, “Not for any injustice in mine hands: also my prayer is pure.” In other words, even though he had done no wrong and had lived uprightly before God, he still faced overwhelming trials. And yet, he declared with unshakable resolve:

“As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment… All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils; My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.” — Job 27:2–4 (KJV)

Dear beloved, perhaps you too have faced such suffering. You may have lived a good life, yet today you find yourself having lost everything, with the future uncertain. In times like these, we must remain steadfast like Job. Let us not dwell on disheartening thoughts like, “What use is it to live uprightly?” Instead, let us strive to keep our eyes on God, just as Job did.

Like Job, let us not be distracted by what friends or family say about us. It is not the opinion of the world that testifies about our life, but God Himself. Job knew this truth when he declared:

“Also now, behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record is on high.” — Job 16:19 (KJV)

Though we may suffer even when our hands are innocent and our prayers are pure… though our faces may be tear-stained and the shadow of death may seem to loom before our eyes—we will not lose heart. We will remain firm, because our witness is in heaven. He will never allow us to be destroyed.

🦋 Meditation verse - லுூக்கா 17 : 17 / Luke 17 : 17

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1588                                           ஆதவன் 13.06.2025 வெள்ளி     

"சுத்தமானவர்கள் பத்துப்பேர் அல்லவா, மற்ற ஒன்பதுபேர் எங்கே?" ( லுூக்கா 17 : 17 )

"Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?" ( Luke 17 : 17 )

பொதுவாக மனிதர்கள் பலவேளைகளில் நன்றி மறந்தவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர்.  நன்றிகூறுவது பலவேளைகளில் நமக்கு மேலான நன்மைகளைக் கொண்டுவரும் என்பதும்  பலருக்கும் தெரியாமலிருக்கின்றது. மட்டுமல்ல, சிறிய காரியங்களில் நன்றி மறந்தவர்களாக நாம் வாழ்வோமானால் தொடர்ந்துவரும் மேலான நன்மைகளை நாம் இழந்துவிடுவோம். இன்றைய தியான வசனம் இவைகளை நமக்கு உணர்த்துவதாக உள்ளது.

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிடம் சுகம்பெற ஆர்வமுடன் பத்து தொழுநோயாளிகள் வந்தனர். இயேசு கிறிஸ்து அவர்களை உடனேயே அந்த இடத்தில்  குணமாக்காமல், "நீங்கள் போய் ஆசாரியரிடம் உங்களைக் காட்டுங்கள்" என்று கூறி அனுப்பினார். காரணம், அந்தக்  காலத்தில் தொழுநோயாளிகளைத் தீண்டத்தகாதவர்கள் என்று கருதி அவர்களை ஊருக்கு வெளியே ஒதுக்கி வைக்கும் நிலை இருந்தது. நோய் குணமானால் குணமான அந்த மனிதன் ஆசாரியனிடம் தன்னைக் காண்பித்து ஆசாரியன் கூறும் ஒருசில சடங்கு சம்பிரதாயங்களை நிறைவேற்றியபின்னரே ஊரில் சேர்த்துக் கொள்ளப்படுவான். "நீங்கள் போய் ஆசாரியரிடம் உங்களைக் காட்டுங்கள்" எனும் இயேசு  கிறிஸ்துவின் வார்த்தைகளை அந்தத் தொழுநோயாளர்கள்  விசுவாசித்து ஆசாரியனிடம் தங்களைக் காண்பிக்கச் சென்றனர். அவர்கள் அனைவரும் செல்லும் வழியில் குணமடைந்தார்கள். ஆனால் குணமடைந்த சந்தோஷத்தில் அவர்களில் ஒன்பதுபேர் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை மறந்துவிட்டனர். ஒருவன் மட்டும் அவரை நினைவுகூர்ந்து அவருக்கு நன்றி சொல்லத் திரும்பி வந்தான். இயேசு அவனிடம், "சுத்தமானவர்கள் பத்துப்பேர் அல்லவா, மற்ற ஒன்பதுபேர் எங்கே?" என்றார்? இது தேவன் நம்மிடம் நன்றியுணர்வை எதிர்பார்க்கின்றார் என்பதனையும் உணர்த்துகின்றது.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நம்மில் பலரும் நன்றி மறந்த இந்த ஒன்பதுபேரைப்போலவே பலவேளைகளில் இருக்கின்றோம். ஒரு நன்மையைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டபின் எல்லாவற்றையும் மறந்துவிடுகின்றோம். பலர் கடவுளுக்கு நன்றி காணிக்கைச் செலுத்துவதுண்டு. ஆனால் பெரும்பாலான வேளைகளில் தங்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்த சக மனிதர்களை மறந்துவிடுகின்றனர். நமக்கு வேலைவாய்ப்பு கிடைக்க உதவியவர்கள், உயர்கல்விக்கு உதவியவர்கள்,  இக்கட்டான வேளைகளில் உதவியவர்கள் இவர்களை பலரும் மறந்துவிடுகின்றனர். 

மட்டுமல்ல, வாழ்க்கையில் ஒரு உயர்ந்த நிலைக்கு வந்தபின்னர் சிலர் தாங்கள் இந்த உயர்ந்த நிலைக்கு வர உதவியவர்களை அற்பமாக எண்ணுகின்றனர். இத்தகைய மனிதர்கள் மேலான ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெறமுடியாது என்பதனை இன்றைய தியான வாசகம் நமக்கு உணர்த்துகின்றது. வேதாகமத்தில் நாம் வாசிக்கின்றோம், இயேசு, தன்னிடம் நன்றிசொல்ல வந்த மனிதனைப்பார்த்து  "தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்துகிறதற்கு, இந்த அந்நியனே ஒழிய மற்றொருவனும் திரும்பிவரக்காணோமே என்று சொல்லி, அவனை நோக்கி: நீ எழுந்துபோ, உன் விசுவாசம் உன்னை இரட்சித்தது என்றார்." ( லுூக்கா 17 : 18, 19 )

ஆம், மற்ற ஒன்பதுபேரும் வெறும் உடல்நலம் மட்டும் பெற்றனர். ஆனால் நன்றிகூறிய இந்த மனிதனோ தனது விசுவாசத்தினால் ஆத்தும இரட்சிப்பையும் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் இருந்து பெற்றுக்கொண்டான். எனவே, இரட்சிப்பு அனுபவம் பெறுவதற்கு நன்றியறிதல் எனும் குணமும் காரணமாக இருக்கின்றது. 

அன்பானவர்களே, தேவனுக்கும் நமக்கு உதவிய சகமனிதர்களுக்கும் நன்றிகூற நாம் கடமைப்பட்டவர்களாக இருக்கின்றோம்.  இந்தக் குணம் நமக்கு இருக்குமானால் அது  நமது இருதயத்தையும்  தேவ சமாதானத்தால் நிறைக்கும்.  "தேவசமாதானம் உங்கள் இருதயங்களில் ஆளக்கடவது, இதற்கென்றே நீங்கள் ஒரே சரீரமாக அழைக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்; நன்றியறிதலுள்ளவர்களாயுமிருங்கள்".(கொலோசெயர் 3:15)

"Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?" — Luke 17:17 (KJV)

Generally, people tend to forget gratitude in many situations. What many do not realize is that being thankful often brings even greater blessings into our lives. If we live without gratitude even in small matters, we risk losing the greater blessings that could follow. Today’s meditation verse reminds us of this truth.

Ten lepers approached Jesus Christ with eagerness to be healed. Jesus did not immediately heal them on the spot. Instead, He said, "Go shew yourselves unto the priests." During those times, lepers were considered unclean and were cast out from society, forced to live outside the towns. According to the law, if a leper was healed, he had to show himself to a priest and complete certain rituals before he could be accepted back into the community (see Leviticus).

The lepers believed in the words of Jesus and went to show themselves to the priests. While they were on their way, they were all healed. However, in the joy of healing, nine of them forgot Jesus. Only one remembered and returned to give thanks. To him, Jesus said, "Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?" This shows us that God expects gratitude from us.

Yes, dear friends, like the nine ungrateful lepers, many of us often forget to give thanks. Once we receive a blessing, we quickly forget everything else. Some people do offer thanksgiving to God, but often forget the fellow humans who helped them. Those who helped us find a job, supported us in higher education, or stood by us during difficult times are often forgotten.

Worse still, once some people attain a high position in life, they even look down on those who helped them get there. Such individuals cannot receive higher blessings. Today's meditation reveals this profound truth. In the Bible, we read that Jesus looked at the one who returned and said:

"There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole." — Luke 17:18–19 (KJV)

Yes, while the other nine received only physical healing, the one who gave thanks received spiritual salvation through his faith. Therefore, gratitude is not only a virtue—it is also a path to experiencing salvation.

Beloved, we are duty-bound to give thanks to both God and the fellow humans who help us. If we cultivate this virtue, it will fill our hearts with divine peace. As it is written:

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful." — Colossians 3:15 (KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - 2 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 14 / 2 Corinthians 2:14

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1587                                          ஆதவன் 12.06.2025 வியாழன்    

"கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் எப்பொழுதும் எங்களை வெற்றிசிறக்கப்பண்ணி, எல்லா இடங்களிலேயும் எங்களைக் கொண்டு அவரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிற தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 2 : 14 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில் அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், தேவன் தனது இரத்தத்தால் மீட்கப்பட்ட நம்மைக்கொண்டு செய்யும்  உன்னதமான காரியங்களை நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றார். 

முதலில் அவர் நம்மை ஒரு வெற்றி வாழ்க்கை வாழத் துணைபுரிகின்றார். அதாவது எந்தச் சூழ்நிலையிலும் நாம் பாவத்தில் விழுந்துவிடாமல் பாவத்தின்மேல் வெற்றிகொள்ளும் வாழ்வைத் தருகின்றார். அப்படி நாம் பாவத்தை மேற்கொள்ளும்போது தேவனது வாசனை நம்மில் வெளிப்படும். மட்டுமல்ல, அந்த வாசனையை நாம் எல்லா இடங்களிலும் வெளிப்படுத்துபவர்களாக வாழ்வோம். 

இகனையே, "கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் எப்பொழுதும் எங்களை வெற்றிசிறக்கப்பண்ணி, எல்லா இடங்களிலேயும் எங்களைக் கொண்டு அவரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிற தேவன்" என்று இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுகின்றது. நாம் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டு மீட்படையும்போது ஆவியின் பிரமாணத்துக்குள் வந்துவிடுகின்றோம். அந்த ஆவியின் பிரமாணம் நம்மை பாவத்துக்கும் ஆத்தும மரணத்துக்கும்  விடுதலையாக்குகின்றது. 

இதனையே அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல், "கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினாலே ஜீவனுடைய ஆவியின் பிரமாணம் என்னைப் பாவம் மரணம் என்பவைகளின் பிரமாணத்தினின்று விடுதலையாக்கிற்றே." ( ரோமர் 8 : 2 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

மேலும், இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தில், "அவரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிற" என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த வாசனை என்பது சாட்சியுள்ள ஒரு வாழ்கையினைக் குறிக்கின்றது.  மனிதர்களாகிய நம்மால் சுயமாக இப்படிச் சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ முடியாது என்பதால் தேவன் நமக்குப் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைத் தந்துள்ளார். 

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் கூறுவதன்படி நாம் எல்லா இடங்களிலும் சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழவேண்டுமானால் நமக்கு ஆவியானவரின் துணை அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. இதனையே ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உயிர்தெழுந்தபின் தனது சீடர்களுக்கு, "பரிசுத்த ஆவி உங்களிடத்தில் வரும்போது நீங்கள் பெலனடைந்து, எருசலேமிலும், யூதேயா முழுவதிலும், சமாரியாவிலும், பூமியின் கடைசிப்பரியந்தமும், எனக்குச் சாட்சிகளாயிருப்பீர்கள் என்றார்." ( அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிகள் 1 : 8 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, எருசலேம் எனும் நமது சொந்த வீட்டிலும், யூதேயா எனும் நமது சுய மக்களிடத்திலும்,  சமாரியா எனும் பிற மக்களிடமும் தொடர்ந்து உலகம் முழுவதும் அவருக்குச் சான்று பகரும் வழக்கை பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் பலத்தினால் நமக்குக் கிடைக்கின்றது. 

இத்தகைய மேன்மையான வாழ்வை நமக்குத் தந்துள்ள தேவனுக்கு நாம் நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாக வாழவேண்டாமா? எனவேதான் "எங்களைக் கொண்டு அவரை அறிகிற அறிவின் வாசனையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிற தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்." என்று பவுல் அப்போஸ்தலர் தேவனை ஸ்தோத்திரம் செய்கின்றார்.  

எனவே நாமும் ஆவியானவரின் பலத்தால் சாட்சியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ நம்மை அவருக்கு முற்றிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்போம். அப்போது, நம்மைக்கொண்டும் தேவன் இப்படி அவரது நறுமணத்தை உலகினில் பரவச்செய்வார். அவருக்கே துதியும் ஸ்தோத்திரமும் உண்டாகட்டும்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1587
AATHAVAN – Thursday, 12.06.2025

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” — 2 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)

In today’s meditation verse, the Apostle Paul reveals the glorious works that God does through us, those redeemed by the blood of Christ.

Firstly, God enables us to live a victorious life. This means that in every circumstance, He helps us to overcome sin and not fall into it. When we live such a victorious life, the fragrance of Christ becomes evident in us. Not only that, but we also carry and spread that fragrance wherever we go.

That is why today’s scripture says, “which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” When we receive forgiveness and redemption in Christ, we come under the law of the Spirit. That law delivers us from sin and spiritual death.

Paul affirms this truth when he writes,

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” — Romans 8:2 (KJV)

Today’s verse also emphasizes that “He makes manifest the savour of His knowledge.” This “savour” refers to a life that bears witness to Christ. As human beings, we cannot live such a witnessing life on our own. That is why God has given us the Holy Spirit.

To live a life of testimony in all places, as the verse calls us to, we absolutely need the help of the Holy Spirit. This is exactly what our Lord Jesus Christ declared to His disciples after His resurrection:

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” — Acts 1:8 (KJV)

Yes, dearly beloved, with the power of the Holy Spirit, we can be His witnesses in Jerusalem—our own household, in Judaea—among our own people, in Samaria—among those who are different from us, and ultimately to the ends of the earth.

Should we not live a life of gratitude to the God who has given us such an excellent calling and victorious life? That is why the Apostle Paul gives thanks by saying, “Thanks be unto God, which… maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us.”

So, let us wholly surrender ourselves to God, to live a witnessing life through the power of the Holy Spirit. Then God will spread His fragrance throughout the world through us.

To Him alone be glory and praise. Amen!

🦋 Meditation verse - 1 கொரிந்தியர் 1 : 28 / 1 Corinthians 1:28

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1586                                           ஆதவன் 11.06.2025 புதன்   

"உள்ளவைகளை அவமாக்கும்படி, உலகத்தின் இழிவானவைகளையும், அற்பமாய் எண்ணப்பட்டவைகளையும், இல்லாதவைகளையும், தேவன் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்." ( 1 கொரிந்தியர் 1 : 28 )

இந்த உலகம் ஒருவரின் பல்வேறு தகுதிகளைக் கருத்தில்கொண்டு அவருக்கு மதிப்பையும்  மரியாதையையும் அளிக்கின்றது. இந்த உலகத்தில் பணம், அதிகாரம், புகழ், அழகு, திறமை, கல்வித்தகுதி என பல்வேறு காரணிகள் மனிதர்களை தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாக்குகின்றன.

நாம் ஒரு பதவிக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்கும்போதும் நமது கல்வித்தகுதியையும், இதரத் தகுதிகளையும் (other talents), முன் அனுபவம் (past experiences) இவைகளைக் கருத்தில்கொண்டுதான் நமக்கு ஒரு வேலைவாய்ப்பைத் தருகின்றனர்.  ஆனால் தேவன் இப்படிப்பார்த்து மனிதர்களைத் தனது பணிக்காகத் தெரிவுசெய்வதில்லை. உலகத்தின் இழிவானவைகளையும், அற்பமாய் எண்ணப்பட்டவைகளையும், இல்லாதவைகளையும், தேவன் தனது பணிக்காகத் தெரிவுசெய்கின்றார். இப்படி அற்பமானவர்களைத் தெரிவுசெய்து அவர்களைத்  தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாக்கிப்  பயன்படுத்துகின்றார். 

யோசேப்பு, சகோதரர்களால் புறக்கணிக்கப்பட்டு அடிமையாக விற்கப்பட்டவன். அரசனான தாவீது தகப்பனாலும் சகோதரர்களால் ஒரு பொருட்டாக எண்ணப்படாமல், ஆடுமேய்த்துக்கொண்டுத் திரிந்தவன்,  இலட்சக்கணக்கான இஸ்ரவேலரை பார்வோனது கையிலிருந்து விடுதலையாக்கி கானானை நோக்கி வழிநடத்திய மோசே ஒரு திக்குவாயும் மந்த நாவும் உள்ள மனிதன். 

நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் சீடர்கள் அனைவரும் படிப்பறிவில்லாத மீனவர்கள்.  ஆம், தேவன் ஒரு மனிதனை அவனது தகுதிகளின் அடிப்படையில் பார்க்காமல் அவர்களது இருதயத்தைப்பார்த்துத் தெரிவுசெய்கின்றார். இதனை அறிந்திருந்ததால்தான் அன்னை மரியாள், "தம்முடைய புயத்தினாலே பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்தார்; இருதய சிந்தையில் அகந்தையுள்ளவர்களைச் சிதறடித்தார். பலவான்களை ஆசனங்களிலிருந்து தள்ளி, தாழ்மையானவர்களை உயர்த்தினார்." ( லுூக்கா 1 : 51, 52 ) என்று பாடுகின்றார்.

அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுலும், "எங்களால் ஏதாகிலும் ஆகும் என்பதுபோல ஒன்றை யோசிக்கிறதற்கு நாங்கள் எங்களாலே தகுதியானவர்கள் அல்ல; எங்களுடைய தகுதி தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது." ( 2 கொரிந்தியர் 3 : 5 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். அப்போஸ்தலரான பவுல் அதிகம் படித்தவர்தான். ஆனால் அந்தப் படிப்பைப் பார்த்து தேவன் அவரைத் தெரிவு செய்யவில்லை. எனவேதான் துணிவுடன் அவர் இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தை எழுதியுள்ளார்.

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த உலகம் நம்மைத் தகுதியற்றவர்கள், இயலாதவர்கள், வெறுமையானவர்கள், அற்பர்கள், என்று கருதலாம். ஆனால் தேவன் நம்மை மேலானவர்களாகக் கருதுகின்றார். எனவேதான் புகழும், அதிகாரமும், படிப்பும், பணமும், அழகும் உள்ளவர்கள் அறியாத தேவனை நமக்கு அவர் வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளார். தேவனை அறியாமல் எல்லா உலகச் செல்வங்களை அனுபவிப்பதிலும் அவை எதுவும் இல்லாவிட்டாலும்  தேவனையும் அவரது மேலான உடனிருப்பு அனுபவங்களையும்  வாழ்வில் அனுபவிப்பது மேலானது.  

இப்படித் தேவன் ஏன் இல்லாதவர்களையும் அற்பர்களையும் தேர்வுசெய்கின்றார் என்பதை இன்றைய தியான வசனத்தின் முதல் இரண்டு வார்த்தைகள், "உள்ளவைகளை அவமாக்கும்படி" என்று  கூறுகின்றன. அதாவது, "நீ எல்லாம் உடையவன் என்று எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றாயே, எனது பார்வையில் நீ அவமானவன், ஒன்றும் இல்லாதவன்" என்பதனை அவர்கள் உணரும்படி இப்படி ஒன்றுமில்லாதவர்களைத்  தேவன்  தனக்காகத் தெரிவுசெய்கின்றார். 

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இன்று மற்றவர்களைப்போல் நம்மிடம் உலகம் பெருமையாகக் கருதும் எதுவும் இல்லாமலிருக்கலாம். ஆனால் நாம்  தேவனை அறிந்துள்ளோம்.  தேவன் நமக்குத் தன்னை வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ள கிருபைக்காக அவருக்கு நன்றி கூறித்  தொடர்ந்து அவருக்கேற்ற வாழ்வு வாழ்வோம். அவரே நம்மை இறுதிவரை தொடர்ந்து நடத்துவார். "இவைகளை நீர் ஞானிகளுக்கும் கல்விமான்களுக்கும் மறைத்து, பாலகருக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தினபடியால் உம்மை ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கிறேன்; ஆம், பிதாவே! இப்படிச் செய்வது உம்முடைய திருவுளத்துக்குப் பிரியமாயிருந்தது." ( லுூக்கா 10 : 21 )

"Inside the Seeds" 🌳

Scripture Meditation No. 1586
AATHAVAN – Wednesday, 11.06.2025

“And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are.” — 1 Corinthians 1:28 (KJV)

This world gives value and honour to individuals based on various qualifications. In this world, things like money, power, fame, beauty, talent, and education are seen as determining factors that make someone “worthy.”

Even when we apply for a position, our educational qualifications, other talents, and past experiences are considered before we are given an opportunity. But God does not choose people for His work based on such worldly standards. God has chosen the base things of the world, the despised, and those considered as nothing for His purposes. He chooses such seemingly unworthy people and transforms them into vessels of worth.

Joseph was rejected by his own brothers and sold as a slave. King David, despite being neglected by his father and brothers, was a shepherd boy roaming the fields. Moses, who led millions of Israelites from Pharaoh’s bondage toward Canaan, was a man of slow speech and tongue.

All the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ were uneducated fishermen. Yes, God does not look at a man’s qualifications but chooses based on the heart. Knowing this truth, Mother Mary sang:

“He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.” — Luke 1:51-52 (KJV)

The apostle Paul also testified:

“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.” — 2 Corinthians 3:5 (KJV)

Though Paul was highly educated, God did not choose him because of that learning. That is why he could boldly write today’s meditation verse.

Yes, beloved, the world may see us as unworthy, incapable, empty, or insignificant. But God sees us as valuable. That is why He has revealed Himself to us, while those with fame, power, education, wealth, and beauty remain ignorant of Him. Experiencing God and His glorious presence in our lives is far greater than having all the wealth of this world without knowing Him.

Why does God choose the insignificant and the nothing? The answer lies in the first few words of today’s verse: “To bring to nought things that are.”

In other words, God chooses the “nothings” to humble those who think they have everything. He shows them, “You think you possess it all, but in My sight, you are nothing.”

Yes, beloved, today we may lack everything that the world values. But we know God. He has revealed Himself to us. Let us thank Him for that grace and continue to live a life pleasing unto Him. He will surely lead us until the end.

“I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.” — Luke 10:21 (KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - ஏசாயா 55 : 1 / Isaiah 55:1

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳 

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1585                                          ஆதவன் 10.06.2025 செவ்வாய்  

"தாகமாயிருக்கிறவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் தண்ணீர்களண்டைக்கு வாருங்கள்; பணமில்லாதவர்களே, நீங்கள் வந்து, வாங்கிச் சாப்பிடுங்கள்; நீங்கள் வந்து, பணமுமின்றி விலையுமின்றித் திராட்சரசமும் பாலும் கொள்ளுங்கள்." ( ஏசாயா 55 : 1 )

இன்றைய தியானத்துக்குரிய வசனம் நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து வாக்களித்த இலவசமான தண்ணீரையும் உணவையும்குறித்து ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசனமாகக் கூறும் வார்த்தைகளாகும். 

மனிதர்கள்  ஆத்தும தாகத்தால் உள்ளமும் உடலும் வறண்டவர்களாக உள்ளனர்.  ஆத்துமாவைத் தேற்றும் தண்ணீரையும் உணவையும் தேடிப் பல்வேறு ஆன்மீகத் தலங்களுக்கு அலைந்து திரிகின்றனர்.  அப்படி அலையும் மக்களை "நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் அப்படி வீணாக அலையவேண்டாம்; தண்ணீர்களண்டைக்கு வாருங்கள்; பணமில்லாதவர்களே, நீங்கள் வந்து, வாங்கிச் சாப்பிடுங்கள்" என்று அழைப்பு விடுக்கின்றது இன்றைய தியான வசனம். 

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து, "நான் கொடுக்கும் தண்ணீரைக் குடிக்கிறவனுக்கோ ஒருக்காலும் தாகமுண்டாகாது; நான் அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கும் தண்ணீர் அவனுக்குள்ளே நித்திய ஜீவகாலமாய் ஊறுகிற நீரூற்றாயிருக்கும் என்றார்." ( யோவான் 4 : 14 ) தொடர்ந்து இயேசு கிறிஸ்து ஆத்துமாவை நிறைவடையச்செய்யும் இந்த இலவசத்  தண்ணீரையும் உணவையும் குறித்து பல்வேறு முறைக் கூறுவதை நாம் வேதாகமத்தில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். 

"பண்டிகையின் கடைசிநாளாகிய பிரதான நாளிலே இயேசு நின்று, சத்தமிட்டு: ஒருவன் தாகமாயிருந்தால் என்னிடத்தில் வந்து, பானம்பண்ணக்கடவன். வேதவாக்கியம் சொல்லுகிறபடி என்னிடத்தில் விசுவாசமாயிருக்கிறவன் எவனோ, அவன் உள்ளத்திலிருந்து ஜீவத்தண்ணீருள்ள நதிகள் ஓடும் என்றார்." ( யோவான் 7 : 37, 38 ) இலவசமான தண்ணீரை நாம் பெறுவது மட்டுமல்ல, அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது நம்மிடமிருந்தே நதிகள் புறப்படும் என்கின்றார். 

மேலும், "என் மாம்சத்தைப் புசித்து, என் இரத்தத்தைப் பானம்பண்ணுகிறவனுக்கு நித்தியஜீவன் உண்டு; நான் அவனைக் கடைசிநாளில் எழுப்புவேன்." ( யோவான் 6 : 54 )

"என் மாம்சம் மெய்யான போஜனமாயிருக்கிறது, என் இரத்தம் மெய்யான பானமாயிருக்கிறது." ( யோவான் 6 : 55 )

ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இந்த உலகினில் பொதுவாக இலவசமாய்க்  கிடைக்கும் பொருட்களைத்தேடி மக்கள் ஓடுவது இயல்பு. ஆனால் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து வாக்களித்த இலவச தண்ணீரையும் உணவையும் தேடி வருபவர்கள் மிகக்குறைவு. ஆனால் அப்படி அதனைத் தேடுவோமானால் நாம் மீட்படைவோம். "இலவசமாய் அவருடைய கிருபையினாலே கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவிலுள்ள மீட்பைக்கொண்டு நீதிமான்களாக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்" ( ரோமர் 3 : 24 ) என்கின்றார் அப்போஸ்த்தலரான பவுல். 

பணமுமில்லாமல் எந்தவித விலையுமில்லாமல் மீட்பு நமக்கு அருளப்படுகின்றது. காரணம் அதற்கான விலைக் கிரயத்தை ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துச் சிலுவையில் கொடுத்துத் தீர்த்துவிட்டார். எனவே, நமது ஆத்தும மீட்புக்கான ஜீவத்தண்ணீரையும் ஜீவ அப்பத்தையும் நாம் இலவசமாகவே பெறுகின்றோம். "நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் தண்ணீர்களண்டைக்கு வாருங்கள்; பணமில்லாதவர்களே, நீங்கள் வந்து, வாங்கிச் சாப்பிடுங்கள்; நீங்கள் வந்து, பணமுமின்றி விலையுமின்றித் திராட்சரசமும் பாலும் கொள்ளுங்கள்" என்று அழைப்பு விடும் தேவ வார்த்தைகளைப் புறக்கணிக்கவேண்டாம். 

மட்டுமல்ல, ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறியதுபோல நாமே இலவச தண்ணீரைக் கொடுக்கின்ற ஜீவ நதியாக மாறுவோம். 

"உங்கள் செவியைச் சாய்த்து, என்னிடத்தில் வாருங்கள்: கேளுங்கள், அப்பொழுது உங்கள் ஆத்துமா பிழைக்கும்." ( ஏசாயா 55 : 3 ) என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

AATHAVAN – Tuesday, 10 June 2025

"Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price." (Isaiah 55:1)

Today’s meditation verse contains the prophetic invitation of the Lord Jesus Christ as foretold by Isaiah – a call to freely receive water and food that truly satisfies.

Human beings, inwardly and outwardly, suffer dryness due to spiritual thirst. Many wander from one spiritual place to another, searching for water and food that will nourish the soul. To such restless wanderers comes today’s divine invitation: “Come ye to the waters... come, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.”

Jesus Christ said, "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:14, KJV)

Throughout the Scriptures, we see Jesus repeatedly offering this free, soul-satisfying water and spiritual nourishment.

"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." (John 7:37–38, KJV)

Not only are we to receive this living water, but by accepting Him, we ourselves become fountains from which these rivers of life will flow.

He further said: "Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day." (John 6:54, KJV)

"For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed."(John 6:55, KJV)

Yes, beloved, it is common for people in this world to run after anything that is free. But very few seek after the free water and food offered by the Lord Jesus Christ. Yet, those who earnestly seek shall find salvation. As the apostle Paul writes, "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." (Romans 3:24, KJV)

Salvation is granted freely, without money or price, because the price was fully paid by the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. Hence, the living water and bread of life for the redemption of our souls are given to us at no cost.

Let us not ignore the divine invitation: “Come ye to the waters… come, buy, and eat… without money and without price.”

Furthermore, as Jesus said, let us also become rivers of living water, offering freely to others the life that flows from Christ.

"Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live." (Isaiah 55:3, KJV)

🦋 Meditation verse - மத்தேயு 6 : 34 / Matthew 6:34

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1584                                          ஆதவன் 09.06.2025 திங்கள்  

"ஆகையால், நாளைக்காகக் கவலைப்படாதிருங்கள்; நாளையத்தினம் தன்னுடையவைகளுக்காகக் கவலைப்படும்; அந்தந்த நாளுக்கு அதனதன் பாடுபோதும்." ( மத்தேயு 6 : 34 )

இன்றைய தியான வசனம் பலருக்கும் குழப்பம் ஏற்படுத்தலாம். அது எப்படி நாளைக்காக நாம் கவலைப்படாமல் இருக்க  முடியும்? நமது குழந்தைகளின் படிப்புச் செலவுகள், திருமணம், எதிர்பாராச் செலவினங்கள்,   நமக்கு வயதாகும்போது நமக்குப்  பாதுகாப்பு இவைகளையெல்லாம் பற்றி நாம் முன்னரேத்  தீர்மானித்து இந்தச் செலவுகளுக்காக ஆயத்தமாய் இருக்கவேண்டாமா? என்றெல்லாம் நாம் எண்ணலாம். 

ஆனால் இந்த வசனம் மூலம் இயேசு வலியுறுத்த விரும்புவது தேவன்மேல் நாம் உறுதியான விசுவாசம் கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்பதைத்தான். இந்த உலகத்தில் தேவனது கிருபை இல்லாமல் நாம் எதனையும் சாதிக்கமுடியாது. எவ்வளவுதான் சொத்து சுகங்களை நாம் சேர்த்தாலும் அவை அனைத்தையும் ஒரே நொடியில் இழந்துவிடக்கூடிய நிலையும் நமக்கு ஏற்படலாம். யோபுவின் வாழ்க்கையினை நினைத்துப்பாருங்கள். எனவே தேவனது கிருபையினைச் சார்ந்து நாம் வாழவேண்டும் என்று இயேசு வலியுறுத்துகின்றார். 

இதனை நாம் பாலைவனத்தில் தேவன் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு மன்னா அளித்ததைக் கொண்டு சிறு விளக்கம் பெறலாம். இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு மன்னாவை தேவன் பொழிந்தபோது அதில் எதனையும் மறுநாள்வரை வைக்கவேண்டாம் என்று கட்டளையிட்டார். அதாவது அன்றன்றுள்ள அளவுக்கு மன்னாவைச் சேகரித்தால் போதும் என்று கூறியிருந்தார். ஆனால் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் மன்னாவைக் கண்டபோது தேவனது கட்டளையைமீறி அதனை அதிகமாகச் சேர்க்க முயன்றார்கள். 

தேவன் அன்றன்று அவர்களுக்குத் தேவையான  மன்னாவைத் தவறாமல் அளித்தபோதும் அவர்கள் மறுநாளைக்கு என்று சேர்க்கக் காரணம் அவர்களது விசுவாசக் குறைவு. ஒருவேளை நாளைக்கு மன்னா பொழியப்படாவிட்டால் என்னசெய்வது என்று அவர்கள் எண்ணினார்கள். எனவே கட்டளையைமீறி மறுநாளுக்காகச் சேர்த்து வைத்தார்கள். ஆனால் அதனை அவர்களால் மறுநாளில் பயன்படுத்தமுடியாத நிலைதான் ஏற்பட்டது. 

"மோசே அவர்களை நோக்கி: ஒருவனும் விடியற்காலம்மட்டும் அதில் ஒன்றும் வைக்கக்கூடாது என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லியும்; மோசேயின் சொல் கேளாமல், சிலர் அதில் விடியற்காலம்மட்டும் கொஞ்சம் மீதியாய் வைத்தார்கள்; அது பூச்சி பிடித்து நாற்றமெடுத்தது. அவர்கள்மேல் மோசே கோபங்கொண்டான்." (யாத்திராகமம் 16 : 19, 20) என்று வாசிக்கின்றோம்.                                         

இத்தகைய  விசுவாசக் குறைவு நமக்கு இருக்கக் கூடாது என்பதையே இயேசு, "நாளைக்காகக் கவலைப்படாதிருங்கள்; நாளையத்தினம் தன்னுடையவைகளுக்காகக் கவலைப்படும்; அந்தந்த நாளுக்கு அதனதன் பாடுபோதும்." என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

அன்பானவர்களே, நாம் நாளைக்காக சேர்த்து வைப்பது பாவமல்ல, ஆனால் நமது அனைத்து நம்பிக்கையையும்  நாம் சேர்த்துவைத்த பொருள் செல்வங்களின்மேல் வைக்காமல் தேவன்மேல் வைக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். ஏனெனில், தேவனது கிருபையே நாம் சேர்த்த செல்வத்தை அனுபவிக்க உதவிடும். இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உவமையாகக் ஒரு செல்வந்தனின் வாழ்க்கைக்குறித்துக் கூறும்போது:- 

"பின்பு: ஆத்துமாவே, உனக்காக அநேக வருஷங்களுக்கு அநேகம் பொருள்கள் சேர்த்து வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; நீ இளைப்பாறி, புசித்துக் குடித்து, பூரிப்பாயிரு என்று என் ஆத்துமாவோடே சொல்லுவேன் என்று தனக்குள்ளே சிந்தித்துச் சொல்லிக்கொண்டான். தேவனோ அவனை நோக்கி: மதிகேடனே, உன் ஆத்துமா உன்னிடத்திலிருந்து இந்த இராத்திரியிலே எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படும், அப்பொழுது நீ சேகரித்தவைகள் யாருடையதாகும் என்றார்." ( லுூக்கா 12 : 19, 20 ) என்று கூறுகின்றார். 

தேவன்மேல் பூரண விசுவாசம் கொள்ளும்போது நமது நாளைய தேவையை அவர் பார்த்துக்கொள்வார். "முதலாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக்கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும்." ( மத்தேயு 6 : 33 ) என்று இயேசு கிறிஸ்து கூறவில்லையா? நாளைக்காக கவலைப்படுவதைவிட முதலில் தேவனது ராஜ்யத்தைக்குறித்து கவலைகொண்டு அதனைத் தேடுவோம். நமது மற்ற தேவைகளை தேவனே பார்த்துக்கொள்வார்.

Bible Meditation No. 1584

AATHAVAN – Monday, 09.06.2025

"Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." — Matthew 6:34 (KJV)

Today’s meditation verse might seem confusing to many. How can we not worry about tomorrow? What about our children’s education expenses, weddings, unforeseen emergencies, and our own security in old age? Shouldn’t we plan ahead and prepare for such things?

However, what Jesus emphasizes in this verse is that we must have steadfast faith in God. Without God's grace, we can accomplish nothing in this world. No matter how much wealth and comfort we may accumulate, we could lose it all in a single moment. Just consider the life of Job.

Therefore, Jesus urges us to live in dependence on God’s grace. This truth is illustrated in how God provided manna to the Israelites in the wilderness. When He rained manna from heaven, He commanded them not to save any of it for the next day, but to collect only what was needed for each day.

Still, when the Israelites saw the manna, they disobeyed God's command and tried to gather extra for the following day.

Though God faithfully provided the exact portion of manna needed for each day, their lack of faith led them to think, “What if manna doesn’t come tomorrow?” As a result, they tried to store it for the next day—but that manna became unusable.

"And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning. Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them." — Exodus 16:19–20 (KJV)

Jesus highlights this very lesson when He says: "Take therefore no thought for the morrow... Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."

Dearly beloved, saving for the future is not a sin, but it is essential that we place our trust not in the possessions or wealth we store up—but in God. Because it is only by God’s grace that we are able to enjoy what we have saved.

Jesus illustrates this same truth through the parable of the rich man:

"And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?" — Luke 12:19–20 (KJV)

When we place complete trust in God, He will take care of our needs for tomorrow.

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." — Matthew 6:33 (KJV)

Instead of worrying about tomorrow, let us be concerned with seeking God’s kingdom first. He will take care of all our other needs.

🦋 Meditation verse - எரேமியா 29 : 13 / Jeremiah 29:13

 "விதைகளின் உள்ளே" 🌳

  வேதாகமத் தியானம் எண் - 1583                                          ஆதவன்,  08.06.2025 ஞாயிறு 

"உங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் என்னைத் தேடினீர்களானால், என்னைத் தேடுகையில் கண்டுபிடிப்பீர்கள்." ( எரேமியா 29 : 13 )

தேவனைத் தேடுவதற்கும் அவரை ஆராதிப்பதற்கும் வித்தியாசம் உண்டு. அவரை அறியாமலேயே ஆராதிக்கமுடியும். ஆனால் அதனால் என்ன பயன்? இன்று கடவுளை ஆராதிக்கும் அனைவரும் அவரை வாழ்வில் அறிந்தவர்களல்ல. இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து சமாரிய பெண்ணிடம்கூறினார், "நீங்கள் அறியாததைத் தொழுது கொள்ளுகிறீர்கள்; நாங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறதைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறோம்" (யோவான் 4:22) என்று. 

தேவனை அறியவேண்டுமானால் முதலில் நாம் அவரை உண்மையான மனதுடன் தேடுபவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டியது அவசியம். "ஏனென்றால், கேட்கிறவன் எவனும் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; தேடுகிறவன் கண்டடைகிறான்; தட்டுகிறவனுக்குத் திறக்கப்படும்." ( மத்தேயு 7 : 8 )என்று இயேசு கூறவில்லையா? இன்று தேவனைத் தேடுபவர்களைவிட தேவனிடமிருந்து ஏதாவது நன்மையைப் பெறவேண்டுமெனும் ஆர்வத்தில் அவரை வழிபடுபவர்களே அதிகம்பேர். இத்தகைய மனிதர்கள் தேவனை வாழ்வில் ஒருபோதும் அறியமுடியாது. 

இன்று நூற்றுக்குத்  தொண்ணூறு சதவிகித ஊழியர்களும் தங்களைத் தேடிவரும் மக்களுக்கு உலகத் தேவையை அடைந்திட ஜெபிக்கவே கற்றுக்கொடுக்கின்றனர். பல்வேறு தியானக் கூட்டங்கள் ஆங்காங்கே நடைபெற்றபோதும் தேவனை அறிய அவை மெய்யான வழியைக் காட்டுவதில்லை. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, இதனையே இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உவமையாகக் கூறினார்,  "குருடனுக்குக்   குருடன்  வழிகாட்டக்கூடுமோ? இருவரும் பள்ளத்தில் விழுவார்கள் அல்லவா?" (லூக்கா 6:39) ஊழியம் செய்கிறேன் என்று கூறிக்கொள்ளும் பலரும் குருடர்களாக இருப்பதால் மக்களைப் பள்ளத்தில் தள்ளுகின்றனர். 

தேவனை அறியவேண்டுமென்றால் முதலில் அவரை வாழ்வில் அறியவேண்டும் எனும் ஆர்வம் வேண்டும். பல்வேறு தெய்வங்களை உலக மக்கள் வழிபடுகின்றனரே, இவற்றில் எது உண்மையான தேவனாக இருக்கமுடியும்? என்றாவது எண்ணிப்பார்க்கவேண்டும். ஆனால் இப்படி எண்ணிப்பார்க்கும் மனநிலையில் மக்கள் இல்லை. எந்த தெய்வத்திடம் வேண்டினால் நமது தேவைகள் சந்திக்கப்படும் என்றே பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் எண்ணுகின்றனர். எனவேதான்  பலரும் தேவனை வாழ்வில் அறியமுடியாமல் இருக்கின்றனர். 

தேவனை நாம் அறிய முடியாமல் தடையாக இருப்பது நமது பாவங்களே என்று வேதம் நமக்குக் கூறுகின்றது. "உங்கள் அக்கிரமங்களே உங்களுக்கும் உங்கள் தேவனுக்கும் நடுவாகப் பிரிவினை உண்டாக்குகிறது; உங்கள் பாவங்களே அவர் உங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடாதபடிக்கு அவருடைய முகத்தை உங்களுக்கு மறைக்கிறது." (ஏசாயா 59:2)

எனவே, நாம் தேவனை அறியவேண்டுமானால் நமது பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படவேண்டியது அவசியமாய் இருக்கின்றது. எல்லா மதங்களும் பாவங்களைப்பற்றியும் பாவ மன்னிப்பைப்பற்றியும் கூறினாலும் அவை கூறும் வழிமுறைகள்  வெவ்வேறு. குறிப்பிட்ட நாளில் குறிப்பிட்ட நதியில் மூழ்கி எழுந்தால் பாவங்கள்  போகும் என்று சிலர் எண்ணிக்கொண்டு அவ்வாறு நதிநீரில் குளித்து எழுகின்றனர். ஆனால் அவ்வாறு செய்யும் அவர்கள் பாவ மன்னிப்பின் நிச்சயத்தையும் சந்தோஷத்தையும் வாழ்க்கை மாற்றத்தையும் காண்பதில்லை. 

ஆனால் வேதம் கூறுகின்றது, "இரத்தம் சிந்துதல் இல்லாமல் பாவ மன்னிப்பில்லை." (எபிரெயர் 9:22) என்று. ஆம் அன்பானவர்களே, நமக்காக தனது சுய இரத்தத்தால் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து இரட்சிப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளார். அதனை விசுவாசித்து ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு அவரிடம் நமது பாவங்களை அறிக்கையிட்டு மன்னிப்பை வேண்டும்போது நாம் தேவனை அறியமுடியும்; அவரது பிள்ளைகளாக மாறி அவரது மகத்துவத்தை வாழ்வில் உணரமுடியும். காரணம், "குமாரனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தம் சகல பாவங்களையும் நீக்கி, நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிக்கும்". ( 1 யோவான்  1 : 7 )

மேலும், "இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினுடைய சரீரம் ஒரேதரம் பலியிடப்பட்டதினாலே, அந்தச் சித்தத்தின்படி நாம் பரிசுத்தமாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம்." ( எபிரெயர் 10 : 10 ) என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. முழு இருதயத்தோடு தேவனை அறியும் ஆர்வத்துடன் நாம் நமது பாவங்களை அறிக்கையிட்டு வேண்டும்போது அவரைக் கண்டுகொள்ளலாம். அவரிடமிருந்து எதனையாவது பெறவேண்டுமென்று அவரைத் தேடாமல் அவரே நமக்கு வேண்டுமென்று நாடுவோம்.  ஆம், "உங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் என்னைத் தேடினீர்களானால், என்னைத் தேடுகையில் கண்டுபிடிப்பீர்கள்" என்கிறார் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.

Scripture Meditation No. 1583

Aathavan – Sunday, 08.06.2025 

"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)

There is a difference between seeking God and worshipping Him. One can worship without truly knowing Him — but what profit is there in that? Today, not everyone who worships God truly knows Him in their life. Jesus Christ Himself told the Samaritan woman: "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship." (John 4:22)

If we truly want to know God, it is essential that we seek Him with a sincere heart. Did not Jesus say, "For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened" (Matthew 7:8)? Today, more people are interested in worshipping God with the desire to receive some benefit from Him, rather than truly seeking Him. Such individuals will never be able to truly know God in their lives.

Even among ministers of God, ninety out of a hundred are merely teaching people to pray for worldly needs. Though many devotional meetings are conducted here and there, they do not lead people on the true path to knowing God. Dear beloved, this is what Jesus likened when He said: "Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?" (Luke 6:39) Many who claim to be in ministry are spiritually blind and are leading others into spiritual ruin.

If we truly desire to know God, it begins with a deep longing to know Him personally in our lives. The people of the world worship many gods — but have they ever truly pondered which of these is the living and true God? Unfortunately, most people are not even in a mental state to think that way. They simply go after whichever deity they believe can fulfil their needs. That is why they fail to truly know the one true God.

The Bible clearly says that it is our sins that hinder us from knowing God:

"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." (Isaiah 59:2)

Therefore, for us to know God, our sins must first be forgiven. While all religions speak about sin and forgiveness, each provides a different method. Some believe that immersing in a river on a specific day will wash away their sins. But even after doing so, they do not experience the assurance, joy, or transformation that comes from true forgiveness.

However, the Bible declares: "Without shedding of blood is no remission." (Hebrews 9:22) Yes, beloved, Jesus Christ the Lord has obtained salvation for us through His own blood. When we believe this, confess our sins to Him, and seek His forgiveness, we can truly come to know God. We are then transformed into His children and experience His glory in our lives.

For, "The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7) And, "By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." (Hebrews 10:10)

When we confess our sins with a sincere heart and seek Him with a longing to know Him — not to gain something from Him, but to have Him alone — we will surely find Him. Yes, the Lord God says: "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13)
